There, in the middle of the lost woods, you, Link, and Lexa all sat around a small fire. According to Lexa, the first shard was somewhere in these woods. Also, you had to train a wolfo and force them to show you where the shard is...it's a crazy idea. How are you supposed to train a wolfo?! They're dangerous creatures that will kill you on sight! How did Lexa even know about this stuff anyway?

You kept a blank face, watching the fire. Dark had left to go find more wood for the fire, also to maybe to find a wolfo.

The ground made a crunching noise behind. Looking over your shoulder, you saw Dark carrying a whole load of fire wood. He sat them down and took a seat next to you.

Before you came to The Lost Woods, you stopped by Lon Lon Ranch. There you got some more comfortable clothes, food, blankets, and pillows. Dark had grabbed his tunic and hat, so now, once again, he looked like Link's shadowy counter part.

Dark gently nudged your shoulder, causing you to laugh. Lexa was sharpening her sword and Link, well, he sleeping while sitting up straight. He was a very talented sleeper.

"We really should get to sleep" Lexa said, setting down her sword. "We'll search for a wolfo tomorrow."

Lexa got up and walked over to Link. She grabbed a pillow off of Epona, layed Link down on the ground, then placed the pillow under his head. She grabbed a blanket off of Epona and covered Link with it. Couldn't have a sore Link in the morning, he was one of best fighters.

When Lexa was done with Link, she grabbed her own sleeping items and was asleep in a matter of seconds.

Dark stretched out his arms and made a weird noise. "We really should get to sleep too."

"Okay" you agreed.

You and Dark organized your sleeping area. Dark slept on top of a log, while you slept right next to the log. Asleep in a matter of seconds, Dark was snoring and drooling. You smiled at the sight before sleep took over you.

(The Dream World)

You walked through a long hall way. The walls were blue and the doors you walked by were white. Every once and a while, you would pass by a brown table with a yellow vase on top.

The further you walked, the more darker the hallway became. At the moment, the hallway was no longer lit up, the lighting had dimmed. The blue wall paper was torn up, the white doors were scratched and beat up, and the vases were broken, leaving glass shards scattered on the floor.

You began to hear cries. Some of the words were hard to make out, but you knew for a fact that they were crying for help.

The shadows suddenly came off the walls and formed a staircase that led down. Not even thinking twice about it, you walked down the stairs.

You found yourself in a dungeon. It looked just like Ganondorf's dungeon, just more blue. As you walked by each cell, the cries for help got louder.

Finally, the screams were as loud as they could be. You walked in front of the cell where the screams came from. You're eyes widened and you threw your hand over your mouth as you began to cry. What you saw was unbearable.

GORE WARNING. DON'T LIKE, DON'T READ!!!

Chain to the walls inside the cell were your Mother, your Father, Alex, and Sarina. Two monsters, you didn't know what kind, we're torturing your family and friends.

The monsters had out whips, knifes, and other terrible torturing equipment. Blood ran down from each of their faces and their clothes were tattered. There were bruises and cuts all over them as well.

One of the monsters turned around and grabbed a whip from off a table. When your friends and family saw it, they began to squirm and scream. The monster slowly raised the whip over him and quickly brought it down.

Before you could see anything, you quickly turned around and covered your ears, trying to block out the screams. You began to walk away, after all, this is a dream, you can't stop what is happening.

A thought suddenly occurred to you. Where were the twins, Luke and Logan? With that thought, you heard two people scream.

"SOMEONE!!! PLEASE HELP US!!!"

"HELP PLEASE!!!"

You took off running in the direction of the voices. You ran through a door and found yourself in the stands of an arena.

"HELP!!!"

You took your attention off the sky and look into the arena. There your two brothers were. The were bound together by ropes and were hanging upside down. You followed the rope up and saw it was hanging from a hook on the ceiling. Following the rope back down, you saw Ganondorf was holding the other end of the rope.

"THIS IS WHAT YOU MISERABLE BRATS GET FOR NOT TELLING ME HOW TO YOUR WORLD!!!!"

A gate opened from inside the arena and a pack of hungry wolfos came running in. The howled and jumped at the twins, who were now crying.

"Goodbye, Miserable Twins" Ganondorf said before letting go of the rope.

(End of dream AND NO MORE GORE)

You woke up with a start, sweat dripping down your face. Taking a deep breath, you put your hand on your forehead and closed your eyes. Suddenly, the image of your friends and family getting tortured flashed through your mind.

Tears began to form in your eyes. You tried to keep them back, you didn't want anyone to know you were crying, but it didn't work. Drops of tears began to rapidly fall from your eyes and you let out a sob.

Covering your face with your hands, you quietly sobbed.

Dark's ear twitched. Even though he was alseep, he could tell something was up. Using all of his will, he left his amazing dream of beating Link and getting lots of kisses from you and woke up.

Dark groaned and sat up, rubbing his arms. His ear once again twichted when her heard a sniffle then a sob.Turning his head towards the sound, his heart dropped. There you were, crawled up in a ball and crying.

Dark's heart broke in two, he hated seeing you cry. If he saw someone else cry, he wouldn't care and would tell them to suck it up. You, on the other hand, he would care more than anything and hold you until you stopped.

Quietly, Dark threw his blanket off his body and sat next to you. You didn't notice he was even there before he wrapped his arm around your shoulder and pulled you close to him.

Not saying a word, you cried and clung to his tunic. Dark's ears drooped at the sight of you. He put his hands under your knees and pulled you into his lap.

You both sat there in complete silence until Dark spoke.

"Why are you crying?"

You brought your head from his chest and looked into his concerned blood red eyes. Your eyes were red and puffy, and it was really hard to breathe.

"I...dreamed *sniff* that Sarina and Alex *sob* and my mom *pant* and my dad..." you cried. "Were being tortured!"

"Awww babe!" Dark cried, bringing you back to his chest, but you weren't done.

"Th-Then Logan and *cry* Luke were eaten by *sob* Wolfos!"

Dark sighed, petting your hair. "(Y/n) it was just a dream, none of it is real."

"But it felt so real!" You cried.

"I know, but you have to remember that none of that stuff is actually happening."

"You don't know that!!!"

Dark pushed you away from his chest and firmly holding onto your shoulders, looking straight into your eyes.

"I do know that (y/n)" he told you. "You wanna know why? Because your friends and family are too valuable. Ganondorf's torture is intense, they wouldn't be able to handle it."

"I was able to handle it..." you said.

"I know" Dark said. "But you weren't there very long, they're going to be there a lot longer. As far as Ganondorf knows, you are the thing that will get him to your world, he's just using your family as bait."

You looked down at your hands, Dark was right.

"Hey, look at me" Dark ordered.

You looked up at him.

"Nothing bad is happening to them" Dark reasured you. "I promise."

Dark pulled you back to his chest and layed you and him back down. Grabbing his pillow from on the log, Dark placed it under his head. Dark then grabbed the blankets and pulled them over you both.

"Dark..." you began. "What are you doing?"

"The Nightmares won't come anywhere near you as long as I'm here" he told you. "If they do, I'll beat um up."

You laughed. "Of course you will."

Dark's breathing evened out, as did yours. Eventually, you both fell asleep in each other's arms.
