Lucky's POV

I opened my eyes and saw a place I had been before. When I noticed Zaphael—or should I say Noah—running, I scowled. Although he was running somewhere, my eyes widened when I noticed Erra unconscious and lying on the big rock.

“Erra! Erra!” Noah shouted as he picked up Erra.

“Omg! Did I return to the past?!” Nang biglang huminto sa paggalaw si Noah at lumingon sa akin, tinakpan ko ang aking mga labi. Bigla akong nakaramdam ng kaba.

Did he hear me?

But when he continued to walk, I exhaled with relief. Sinundan ko lang sila hanggang sa makarating ako sa tirahan ni Erra. Lalo akong nagulat nang makita ko ang halos buong mga taga-nayon, na may pag-aalala sa kanilang mga mukha. Nang mapansin nila si Erra, ang unang lumapit ay isang matandang babae.

“Noah? What happened to Erra?” this question made Noah look at them.

“I don't know either; I simply saw her unconscious. Ngunit, huwag kayong mag-alala dahil malapit na siyang magkamalay.” Noah replied but Noah and I both frowned because a man shouted.

“Get up, Erra! Kailangan naming lahat ang tulong niya! Siguro may alam kang paraan para magising siya agad?” after hearing what he said, I tightened my hands and gave him a bad look.

Is he crazy? Can't he see that Erra is unconscious? I thought they were here at Erra's house because they were worried, but it turns out I was mistaken because they didn't appear to care at all. They simply express worry because they need its help. They worry that Erra may be thought of as weak or become weak.

“Ungrateful people! You are abusing Erra's kindness!” sinigaw ni Noah kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. “Erra gave you so much help, yet you were unable to show a single bit of concern. Sa simula pa lang, hindi ako sang-ayon sa tulong na ginagawa ni Erra para sa inyong lahat dahil hindi naman kayo karapat-dapat sa kabutihang-loob niya!” people bowed, but soon wrath could be seen on their faces, which made me feel upset.

They still have the urge to get angry? Tsk!

“Erra should simply fulfill her obligation to help everyone in this world, right?” I scowled at the young woman's words.

Which obligation does she refer to? Who, now that I think about it, is Erra?

“Right! Ang tungkulin ni Erra ay isaayos ang lahat sa mundong ito. Ipinanganak siya para gawin ang ginagawa niya rito!” I returned my attention to Noah after noticing how surprised everyone was by his abrupt chuckle.

“Yes, you're right. That's Erra's responsibility, but perhaps you've forgotten who she truly is. Erra was born to help you all, not for you to make her a low-class creature—not for all of you to make her a slave! Erra, she doesn't help you because that's her duty but because that's what she wants, that's what her heart wants,” Noah looked around the crowd of people, “Kung ako lang ang masusunod, I won't let Erra become a slave just to prove herself to you—so she can save you all because, after all, you don't deserve Erra's goodness. The Goddess did not give birth to her just for all of you to treat her this way.”

I was stunned by Noah's last words.

Erra? Anak ng diyosa? So Erra and Sierra are the same person? Si Erra ang taong nahulog sa Demon Prince at nagkaroon ng anak dito? Si Erra ang tinutukoy nina Jorvina at Linglie na nawalan ng pamilya dahil sa mga taong ito?

I don't know why, but I was furious. Why did they treat Erra in this way when she did nothing except defend them? Why? Is that not enough? After everything Erra had done for them, they killed both her child and the man she loved.

“Erra is a kind person, if I only have the chance to change Erra's destiny, I will not hesitate to change it even if it destroys everything...” Looking at Erra, who was still asleep, I murmured in the air.

Her face was so peaceful, she had no idea that she was going to suffer so much pain. “So who are you? Though I cannot see you, I can sense your presence. Tell me, then, who are you? Why are you here with us?” Noah said that while glancing at my spot, my eyes grew wide. I looked around, hoping he wasn't talking about me, but since everyone was already gone, I was the only person remaining in my position.

“Did he hear what I said?” I whispered, so I was taken aback when he responded.

“Yes, I can hear you. So tell me who you are?!” his shout made me swallow.

“Uhmm—” Nang bigla kong naramdaman na may tumapik sa pisngi ko, hindi ko na natapos ang sasabihin ko dahil pagmulat ko ng mata ko, pamilyar na mga nilalang ang aking nakita.

“What....what happened?” Agad akong tumayo, ngunit napahawak ako sa ’king ulo dahil bigla itong sumakit.

“Wag mong pilitin ang sarili mo, magpahinga ka muna,” si Nizza ang unang nagsalita kaya napatingin ako sa kaniya. Kung hindi ako nagkakamali, sa nangyaring trahedya ay kasama siya sa mga namatay. Unexpectedly, my tears started to fall, surprising them all.

“Emperatrice, why are you crying? Does it hurt a lot?” I shook my head repeatedly while the tears kept streaming down my face, but despite that, a sweet smile remained on my lips.

“The fact is, I'm pretty happy right now. My happiness has nowhere to go since you are all here. safe and sound.” I'm so happy that I can't even manage to hold back my emotions.

Tanda lang ito na kaya kong baguhin ang nangyari. Nagawa kong pigilan silang lahat sa pagpanaw.

“Sarili mo ang iyong dapat pasalamatan, hindi ako. Ang lahat ng ito ay dahil sa ’yo. Bilang aming tagapangalaga, ikaw ay tunay na karapatdapat.” I was surprised by his response, but it only made me smile even wider.
