Lucky's POV

I immediately woke up in my bed when I suddenly felt a shiver so I went out of the room and saw that others had just come out too.

Me, Zaphael and Alas shouted except for Jorvina, Linglie and Nizza who was complacent and could not even see the fear while we were still holding on to the wall so as not to fall in the excessive force of the earthquake.

“Fuck! Jorvina, can't you see? It's an earthquake!” I shouted, but I was surprised to see her laughing.

Linglie shook her head and Nizza just like Jorvina also laughing, Linglie walked out of the room, so we all followed her.

Mabagal at maingat kaming nag lakad nina Zaphael at Alas dahil sa takot na baka mahulog kami dahil umuuga pa ang lugar.

“Why aren't you worried?” I asked with mixed.of annoyance, the three of them looked at me but they didn't say anything and then I also felt dizzy.

Matutumba na sana ako dahil sa pagkahilo pero mabilis akong inalalayan ni Alas kaya ngumiti ako sa kaniya, ayoko talaga sa mga bagay na umuuga kaya never akong sumakay ng roller coaster kasi madali akong mahilo.

When we arrived at the main hall we saw the King standing in the middle of the chandelier with his wife, Queen Vanessa and its two children Prince Aljoz and Elizabeth the youngest child, I think her age is about ten.

“It's good that you're all here.” Suddenly the King said, I wondered what they were doing in the middle and why they were there.

“You're probably Lucky, am I right?” The Queen asked, she was gorgeous and had a gentle face.

I nodded and was surprised again when George suddenly came to me and placed the round bubbles on my head, soft but not bursting.

“What's this for—” Hindi ko na naituloy ang sasabihin ko nang biglang nag salita ang Hari.

“Be ready.” I winced at what he said, I looked at Jorvina, Linglie and Nizza but they were not surprised by what the King even George said, actually all of them except the three of us, Zaphael, Alas and me.

Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo at napakakunot ang noo namin, sabay nanlaki ang mga mata namin ng biglang naramdaman ang pagbaba ng palasyo at hindi kami nagkamali dahil nakita namin na may tubig sa bintana ng palasyo.

I was even more amazed to see with my own eyes that King Melchior, Queen Vanessa, Aljoz and Elizabeth had become a mermaid.

I was amazed at the change in their appearance, their foot gradually had a claw and a tail. They also have flower designs on their arms.

“Impératrice.” My forehead furrowed when I saw Hanno and his companions swimming towards where we were, now the palace was flooded.

There is water inside but the equipment made in the ice does not melt, it seems that the typhoon did not overcome the appearance of where we were, but it is better to see the watery interior of the palace.

Amazing!

Yan ang nasabi ko sa isip ko nang tuluyang nakalapit si Hanno sa kinaroroonan namin, yumuko ito bilang paggalang sa kamahalan sa harap nila maging sa akin, yumuko sila.

Lumulutang kami ngayon sa tubig at ang sarap sa pakiramdam, para kaming nasa aquarium dahil sa mga sirena na nakikita ko.

The mermaid form of water element users is truly amazing.

The King and his family swam to the throne, so we followed and floated in front of them. The throne they sit on now rises from where they sit.

Awesome! It's like the little mermaid cartoons!

At doon ko lang nalaman na lumulubog pala ang buong Atlantic Kingdom kapag sumasapit ang gabi.

“Why do they call you Impératrice? Does that mean you defeated Mauro?” I frowned and looked at Queen Vanessa as she spoke.

“I defeated him when we fought.” Her lips parted and she was amazed at what I said. So that man's name was Mauro.

“Good thing you beat that guy, marami na siyag nagawang masama sa bawat kaharian,  he takes the people's money and we have imprisoned him several times but it is useless because he escapes easily.” Does that mean they don't know that Mauro is one of the users of dark magic? Maybe they don't know because they seem complacent and there are signs on their faces that they don't know.

Magsasalita na sana ang Hari pero natigilan kaming lahat nang biglang may sumabog sa labas ng palasyo, mabilis na lumangoy papunta sa amin ang isang guwardiya ng palasyo na may pag-aalala sa mukha.

“What happened?” King Melchior asked, who was no longer sitting on his throne, Aljoz and Queen Vanessa looked at each other.

“The enemies attacked the citizens of the Atlantic Kingdom and killed many and even innocent children.” Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa sinabi nito.

They are so heartless that they even kill children!

“Ipadala ang mga sentinel sa bayan at iligtas ang lahat, maging ang mga patay, dalhin dito upang mabigyan ng maayos na libing! Bilisan niyo!” I saw anger in the King's eyes, we all felt anger.

“Why is the war so sudden, we didn't even prepare...” The queen spoke nervously, Jorvina and I looked at each other and sighed at the same time.

Why so early? Did the enemy mean to say that in the next few days they will attack so that we are not ready?

Maingat kaming lumangoy at kung maaari ay iniiwasang lumikha ng kahit maliit lang na ingay.

We are currently here in the town of the Atlantic Kingdom which is now also submerged in very deep water, sumama kami sa mga sentinel para tumulong sa pag ligtas sa iba pero tumutol ang Hari dahil delikado raw pero ginawa namin ang lahat para pumayag siya at sa huli pumayag din siya. Kasama rin namin sina Aljoz at George dahil ayaw nilang hayaan kami.

I winced as Zaphael made a loud noise as his feet hit the floating rock, causing it to hit the roof of the house.

Everyone looked at him, Zaphael was nervous that maybe because of the noise he made, the opponents would see us, and another we will have a hard time fighting them because the place is dark. We also rarely go to town.

Nakahinga kami ng maluwag dahil walang sumugod sa amin at ibig sabihin lang ay hindi nila narinig ang ingay na ginawa ni Zaphael kaya nagpatuloy lang kami sa paglalakad hanggang sa napahinto kami sa aming nakita.

I gaped and cupped the palm of my hand because what we saw, we saw dead mermaids/mermans.  Kalunos-lunos ang kanilang sinapit, may nakasabit na parang damit sa haligi at duguan kahit sa ilalim ng tubig. This place is instead of blue water has been stained with red liquid that is nothing but their bloods.

It was like as if many needles were piercing my heart because of what I saw, especially the lifeless children and since I could no longer bear what I saw I just hugged Zaphael who was just next to me. Like me, he was also whimpering with anger. I saw that in his two palms tightly clenched and his jaw.

“Zaphael...” Hinaplos niya ang likod ko para kahit papaano ay gumaan ang pakiramdam ko pero hindi iyon lumuwag, sa halip ay lalong lumala ang galit na naramdaman ko ng malaman na niloko nila ang Hari upang hindi ito maalarma na sumugod sila dito sa bayan.

They have no mercy on innocent children! They killed the citizens of the Atlantic Kingdom and in a worse way!

My tears dripped profusely and Zaphael wiped them away but it was like falls that didn't want to stop dripping.

I broke free from his embrace and swam down to their corpses, I saw a child whose eyes were still open but lifeless. I also saw someone hugging so I thought maybe they were a couple and I saw the shock and fear in their eyes not for themselves but for their two children between their embrace but there was an arrow aimed at the hearts of the two children.

Lumangoy ako sa kabilang side at parang naninikip ang dibdib ko sa kakila-kilabot na nakikita ko.

Wala sa oras na bigla kong hinawakan ang pinto na nakita ko at bigla kong sinara tapos nakita ko ang mga mamamayan, the Atlantic Kingdom has not yet been submerged and they were all still as happy as if someone were having fun in the place until the whole Atlantic Kingdom was slowly sinking.

Doon na sinamantala ng mga kalaban ang mabilis na pag-atake sa mga mamamayan, gulat na gulat sila na hindi agad nakalaban, lumaban din ang iba pero sobrang daming kalaban, kaya walang nagawa ang mga mamamayan para protektahan ang kanilang mga sarili.

I clenched my hands and gritted my teeth because of what I witnessed, I could see how the enemies were mercilessly stabbing the Atlanticanians. Mariin kong idiniin ang aking palad sa pintuan nang makits ko rin na marahas na pinugutan ng ulo ang mga bata at tinusok ng sibat na parang sariwang isda.

I was gasping for breath when I opened my eyes because I couldn't bear the tragic tragedy that befell the citizen of this Kingdom.

“Lucky...” Narinig ko ang mahinang pag tawag sa 'kin ni Zaphael, naramdaman kong tinapik niya ako mula sa likod.

“Mga wala silang puso, Zaphael!” I screamed as I shook my head and cried.

“Lucky! Lucky!” My forehead furrowed as Zaphael shouted, suddenly I was unable to move my body.

“Lucky! Lucky! Lucky!” Napakunot ang noo ko kung bakit ang lakas ng sigaw niya kahit nasa likod ko lamang siya.

Why does he seem worried? What for?

Isang malakas na sampal ang naramdaman ko at biglang parang nagising ang diwa ko, pagdilat ko ay bumungad sa akin ang nag-aalalang mukha ni Zaphael.

“W-what h-happened?” Curious kong tanong sa kaniya, bigla niya akong niyakap at nilibot ko ang paningin ko sa lugar, tapos nanlaki ang mata ko dahil nandito ako sa kwarto kung saan ako natutulog.

I remembered what happened to the people in the town, the tragedy they suffered. I suddenly looked out the window to see that there was no water there and I was shocked to realize that it was all just a dream but it was not just a dream but an event to come.

I broke free from Zaphael's embrace and rushed out of my room, then when I fell asleep, the tragedy did not happen and if so, there was still hope to save the people of the town.

Mabilis akong tumakbo para makarating agad sa main hall at pag dating ko ay hindi na ako nag-aksaya ng oras, napansin ko ang pagsimangot ng mga maharlika dahil sa pag-aalalang ekspresyon sa mukha ko.

“Something bad will happen to the people in town! They must be brought here as soon as possible before this Atlantic Kingdom sinks!” Nagkatinginan ang apat na pamilya sabay balik ng tingin sa 'kin. Nakita kong magkasunod na pumasok sa main hall sina Jorvina, Linglie, Nizza, Alas, George at Zaphael.

“I'm telling the truth. Believe me, King Melchior, there is nothing to lose if you evacuate the people of the town.” Matagal bago mag-react ang Hari, kalaunan ay tumango siya at saka tinawag ang mga sentinel na agad namang sumunod sa kaniyang sinabi na pumunta sa bayan at ilikas ang lahat doon.

Pero kahit umalis na ang mga sentinel, hindi pa rin ako nakatiis, sana lang ay makarating sila at mailikas agad ang mga tao sa bayan habang hindi pa dumarating ang mga kalaban at para hindi mangyari ang nakita ko sa panaginip ko.

It would be a great loss if that happened and not just a loss, it would break my heart if that happened because I as a Celestial Guardian, I have a duty to protect them.
