Lucky's POV

Takbo lang ako ng takbo nang biglang tumama ang paa ko sa isang bato kaya gumulong-gulong ako sa pababang daan, hinimas ko ang paa ko dahil masakit at parang nabalian pa 'ko.

Nakakainis naman, oh! Not now, please!

"Miss, are you okay?" Napatingin ako sa dalawang taong nasa harapan ko ngayon, hindi ko namalayan ang pag lapit nila. A girl who I think is only ten years old and the other is a man who I think is not far behind my age.

"Do I look okay in this situation?" I responded to the man's question, and I noticed he was handsome. He has brown shoulder-length hair, a broad jaw, and a pointed nose, his eyes are also brown, he has lush eyebrows and there's a birthmark on his lower lip.
The girl with him has a gentle face, she's so cute, and like him, has a birthmark on her cheek

"Sorry for that, Lady." He smiled at me and helped me stand up. My eyes widened when I remember Zaphael's situation.

"I need your help, my friend is in danger! He is now facing a snake-like frog! Please help him!" I was terrified by what had happened to him. The two exchanged glances before nodding.

"Dito ka lang, Aira, and I'll take care of her friend," He looked at me and then smiled. I rolled my eyes out of nowhere because of his smile, "You can count on me." Huli niyang sinabi at saka tumakbo papunta sa dinaanan ko. I was taken aback because I hadn't mentioned Zaphael's location, but why does he seem to know where? And what amazes me even more is he ran so fast that he was like the wind.

"Lady, you must not walk first because you have a broken leg." Because I fell when I tried to walk, the child helped me. Napangiwi ako sa sobrang sakit.

Shit! What now?

"But I need to see with my own eyes if Zaphael is really okay, please let me go there?" Pangungumbinsi ko sa kan'ya pero nag-aalinlangan ang mga tingin niya sa 'kin.

"But my brother left you to me." She sighed and then nodded. I smiled because she agreed.

"Thank you." She helps me walk, I don't know how she manage my weight even though she was so young.

Matapos ng halos kalahating oras na paglalakad namin, we also reached the place, and I saw with with my own eyes how the man threw the monster with one hand.

"What the hell?! Totoo ba ang nakikita ko ngayon?" With wide eyes, I ask, looking at the child as she spoke.

"What you see is true. Hard to believe, but you have to accept." She looked at me meaningfully, I turned my gaze back to the man and the monster, who now had the man's sword embedded in the monster's heart.
Tumingin ako sa paligid para hanapin si Zaphael at nakita ko siyang nakaupo at nakasandal sa isang puno, nakahawak sa tagiliran niya. Kumunot ang noo ko dahil parang may sugat siya.

"Aria? Why are you here? Didn't I tell you, you should just be there?" The voice of the man whose name I still don't know rang out.

"I'm sorry, hindi ko sinunod ang utos mo, kuya." Yumuko si Aria kaya nagsalita ako.

"Don't be mad at her, I made her to come here." Because of that, napasabunot siya ng buhok.

"You're really stubborn, Lucky!" Napapikit ako sa biglaang pag sigaw ni Zaphael.

Is he angry? I just want to know if he's okay.

"But I just-" Napatigil ako sa pagsasalita nang magsalita si Zaphael, pinaningkitan ko siya ng mata.

"No more buts! You're really stubborn!" He was walking towards me when I slapped him, causing him to be stunned for a moment.

"Nakakainis ka alam mo ba 'yon? Are you crazy, huh?! Why did you do that? Do you think you are a superhero? What if something bad were happen to you?" He smirked and teasingly looked at me.

"So, you're worried about me?" Did he think I was joking?

"Yes, because I don't want to lose you." My eyes welled up with tears at the thought he was going to die, despite the fact that we frequently argued and always disagree, I still don't want to lose him, and since we both went to this strange world, we must be able to return safely to our real world.

"Lucky..." He approached me with a shocked expression on his face because I was crying at the same time, and I was surprised when he suddenly hugged me so tightly.

"Nakakainis ka! Don't do it again, and promise me you won't put yourself in danger just because of me." Humigpit ang yakap ko sa kaniya.

"Don't worry, I'll never be lost." I looked at him and pulled away from our embrace. Kung kailan naman ako nagse-seryoso, saka naman siya nagbibiro.
He just laughed so loudly na naging dahilan para mas lalo akong nainis sa kaniya, na ningkit ang mga mata ko't bigla siyang sinipa.

"Can you just promise?!" I raised an eyebrow at him, later on, his face became serious.

"I promise you that even if we are repeatedly in such a situation, I will choose to save you. If a knife is thrown at you, I will be your shield and I give my life to save you." I was surprised by what he said. I didn't expect to hear such words from him, pero 'yon naman ang hinding-hindi ko hahayaang mangyari. And if he does that, I will do my part, I will do everything, and while he is just blocking the knife that will hit me, I immediately push him so that he doesn't hit that, I'd rather die than have someone will sacrifice a life for me because I'm not worth it for that, and I am really to blame for why we came to this world, I think he is my responsibility because grandpa owns that book.

Speaking of that book? Where is that? Hindi ko na alam kung na sa'n na iyon basta ang alam ko ay na bitawan ko ito kanina nang muntik na akong kainin ng halimaw.

I dashed around the area looking for the book, but I didn't see anything. Couldn't the monster have eaten it?

"Is this what you're looking for?" I looked at the man who had helped Zaphael and me, and I saw that he was holding the book.
