Lucky's POV

Dahan-dahan kong minulat ang mga mata ko at napakunot ang noo ko nang makitang wala na ako sa nakaraan, nandito na ako sa k'warto ko.

"Lucky!" I glanced to my side and saw Zaphael, Jorvina, and Linglie seated there. They both called out my name at the same moment.

"What happened?" Naguguluhang tanong ko, tumayo si Zaphael at umupo sa gilid ng kama ko saka ako hinampas sa noo, napatingin ako sa kan'ya dahil masakit ang ginawa niya kahit pa mahina lamang iyon.

"Shouldn't we be the ones to ask you that? What happened? And why are you unconscious on the ground?" I bowed to his query and wondered what had truly happened before I got to the past.

Isa-isang pumasok sa isip ko ang lahat, it was the dragon communicating to me first, then its unexpected disappearance, and the last thing is my fight against the sentinel or should I say the Soul's Eater.

"I was facing a Soul's eater." I remarked this as I looked at Jorvina and Linglie who were now frowning.

"Soul's eater? Are you sure? Those demons, as far as I know, have been extinct for a long time since Sierra cursed them." My eyes widened as she spoke.

"Hindi ako maaaring magkamali, isang Soul's Eater ang nakaharap ko. Nakita ng aking mga mata na kinain niya ang kaluluwa ng isang binata at ginamit niya ang katawan ng isang sentinel." Jorvina and Linglie looked at each other then looked at me at the same time.

"If that's the case, they have the capacity to cause more harm by stealing other people's bodies. I haven't heard anything about those soul eaters since Sierra cursed them. According to the curse, they will be only one soul and they will lose their bodies." I kept mute as I remembered Erra and Draco's fight amongst the Soul's Eaters.

Sierra? She is, to the best of my knowledge, the Goddess's daughter. What does she have to do with—I widened my eyes as I remembered Draco.

"Draco, he's the man Sierra loves, am I right?" Linglie nodded, and Jorvina looked at me with a surprised expression.

"Why?" I shook my head and became quiet.

If Draco is Sierra's husband, who is Erra in Draco's life?

Kumunot ang noo ko dahil naguguluhan ako sa mga nangyayari at natuklasan ko.

This added to my list of concerned! Damn it!

"Why do you react like that?" When Zaphael asked, he scowled, so I glanced at him, even though I wanted to tell him what was going on with me, everytime I go back in past, I am unable to do so for reasons I don't understand, as if something is keeping my feelings from telling him everything.

"Do you know anyone—" I couldn't finish what I was about to ask them when there was a sudden knock on the door and a woman around Jorvina and Linglie's age arrived.

"The meal has been prepared." She merely said, bowed, and walked out in front of us, while Linglie stood up and came out first, without saying anything; perhaps she was hungry.

"Let's eat," Jorvina stood up while Zaphael helped me in getting out of bed because I was still a little tired after my encounter with the sentinel.

Nang makarating kami sa kabilang Hall kung saan kami kumakain ay nakita ko sa dulo ang dalagang anak ng sentinel. Sinabihan ko si Zaphael na mauna na 'ko saka pumunta sa kinaroroonan ng bata na kasalukuyang nakatulala.

I gingerly patted it on the back, but only gently.
"Hey, Nizza!" Her thoughts had barely returned when the woman next to her called her; she looked up at me, her eyes widening.

"Can I speak with you?" I asked, and she nodded before exiting the Hall.

"Sorry, but don't be startled by what I'm about to say," Tumango siya saka ako nagpatuloy sa pagsasalita. "Your father has been gone for a long time, the soul eater has just recently eaten his soul and claimed his body." I looked at it before the child's tears began to fall, so I instantly held her, and she began to weep as a result of what I done.

"Kaya pala nag bago siya. Before, my father loved me so much and never hurt me. That is why he can harm me because he's no longer my father. My father loves me, Lady!" I patted her back, which made her cry even more. I felt sad for her.

"Okay, just cry there and let out all the pain you're feeling right now." I told her, and she held me hard.

Makalipas ang ilang oras, tumigil ito sa pag-iyak ngunit hindi naalis ang lungkot sa kaniyang mga mata.

"Magiging maayos din ang lahat." I smiled, so she smiled too.

"Thanks, Lady." She bent down, I patted her lightly on the shoulder.

"Just call me Lucky." She nodded and suddenly laughed out loud dahil sa biglaang pag kalam ng tiyan ko. I'm sure, I felt ashamed because of that.

We walked inside together after she remarked,
"Go ahead, Lucky, it seems like your stomach is complaining."

"Oh? Bakit hindi pa kayo nagsisimulang kumain?" I asked in surprise, as Nizza and I arrived at the place where Zaphael, Jorvina and Linglie was. Nizza will also join us for dinner.

"She's Nizza," I introduced her, and they nodded and start eating. After an hour, we finished eating and we decided to stay here.

"I have something to tell you," I said, and they all looked at me.

"What is it?" Zaphael asked, and I stared at them one by one before taking a long breath.

"Lumabas na ang kapangyarihan ko." Zaphael, Jorvina and Linglie's eyes widened at what I said.

"How? When? Bakit ngayon mo lang sinabi?" Jorvina asked, making me smile a little because of her consecutive questions.

Zaphael, Jorvina, and Linglie were waiting for my response, I almost chuckled since their expression were solemn and they were truly expecting my response.

"Hindi ko alam kung paano pero biglang lumabas nang sasaksakin na ako ng nakalaban kong si Soul's Eater, I was taken aback when a shield appeared between me and my opponent, and I even changed appearance. My simple pants and T-shirt had changed color, as had my hair." When Linglie asked, I looked up.

"Was she blond?" I nodded slowly and awkwardly, my brow furrowed because Linglie seemed to expect it to be that color.

"Virgo," Jorvina said it seriously, so I looked at her, and she looked into my eyes as if she was scanning me.

"Wait what—what's happening?" Naguguluhang tanong ko sa dalawa, nakipagpalitan ako nang tingin kina Jorvina at Linglie.

"It has not yet been confirmed if that is your power, but I believe the power that came out of you and what you used is the power of the zodiac constellation Virgo." My eyes widened at what Jorvina said, then my lips parted and I had a question that I couldn't say.

Does this mean that... that power is the Celestial Guardian?! No! I can't, and I don't want to. Yes, I desired power, but I did not desired strong and dangerous power.

"Don't worry, we're not sure yet." I stopped thinking about what Jorvina said, but even though she said it, the nervousness and fear I felt in my heart remained.

"Take a break because you have training tomorrow." Even though I was still perplexed, I was able to nod at in response to what Linglie said, as if I didn't feel to leave the Hall.

Hanggang sa makarating ako sa kwarto kung saan ako natutulog, laman pa rin ng isip ko ang mga natuklasan ko.

"Something is bothering you." Nagulat ako ng may nagsalita at nakahinga ako ng maluwag nang makita kong si Khael lang pala, nakalutang siya.

"Why do you appear and then vanish so quickly?" When I asked him a vexing question, he sounded out of breath.

Does this sword have a breath?

"Because I go to the Celestial World when I am lost." My brow furrowed.

"Maganda ba ro'n?" Moment before he responded, my question seemed surprised him.

"Yes, it's nice there, I didn't go there much before, but now I come here frequently and whenever you need me." I could tell he was sad by the tone of his voice.

"Why do you seem sad?" Tanong ko, ang tagal bago siya makasagot, parang nagdadalawang isip pa siya.

"Hmm, Sonia's birthday is also approaching." My brow furrowed.

"Who is Sonia?" What does Sonia have to do with what we're talking about? This sword has a problem with his brain. Does he have a brain? I mean, he doesn't have a human body.

"Sonia is the woman I love." My eyes widened as she spoke.

"What? For real? But how? How did that happen?" How can he have a loved one? He was nothing more than a sword.

"What do you think I have no right to love even if I'm a sword? I, too, have feelings and..." His words hung in the air, as if he couldn't say it.

"And?" I was taken aback when he sighed again.

"Lucky, it's a long story." He floated to the other side, as if he were leaving.

"Wait! I am ready to listen!" I'm curious about him because, as his Master, I need to know everything about him, big or small.

"Sleep now." Magsasalita pa sana ako pero bigla na lang siyang nawala sa paningin ko, siguro bumalik na siya sa Celestial World, bigla akong naging interesado sa lugar na iyon pati na rin kay Sonia.

Who are you, Sonia?

The next morning, as I was walking towards the back of the hall where the training would be held, I stopped for a moment when I heard the voice I had heard before.

"Lucky..." Napakahinhin ng boses niya sa aking pandinig. And speaking of hearing, I  realized that my vision was no longer normal because my vision was so clear and my hearing was so strong. My head hurts every now and then because I can hear everyone's voice.

"Lucky..." Narinig ko ulit 'yong boses kaya lumingon ako pero wala naman akong nakita kasi ako lang naman ang narito, boses babae 'yong naririnig ko.

I was swallowed, and because I was terrified, I forgot what I heard. Similarly, I continued walking until I reached the back of the hall and saw them all begin training, including Zaphael.

Hindi lang 'yon, agad akong napayuko nang maramdaman kong tatama sa akin ang isang punyal, tinignan ko ng masama ang pinanggalingan ng punyal.

"Are you losing your mind? What made you do that?" I asked a perplexed question to Jorvina, who was now just smirking at me and clapping as she walked towards me.

What exactly is this woman's problem?

"Great! You're movie quickly." As a result, I winced because I knew my reflexes were lightning fast.

"Kung nagsisimula tayo sa pagsasanay, baka natuwa pa ako." Naiinis na sabi ko sa kaniya, tumawa siya kaya napangiwi ako.

"Don't get too worked up, especially since you can't handle how I train you." I smiled a slightly because of what she said because I remembered how cruel she was in the training.

Oh, no! My body will most likely hurt again! Damn it!

When she raised her hand and drew a diamond shape in the air, it suddenly shone and the shape gradually grew until it resembled a tunnel.

"Wait, where are we going? 'Di ba kailangan pa nating mag sanay?" I asked, concerned, and she laughed. Her laughter sounded horrifying to my ears.

"Don't worry about what's inside, instead, go inside because that's where we'll train." She was still laughing, and I was staring at her, unsure whether I should enter or not, but eventually I found myself slowly walking into the portal.

I breathed a sigh of relief because there was no turning around. I would have been happy but when I stepped, I suddenly fell into a very deep hole.

"Ahh! Damn you Jorvina!" I couldn't help but shout, and I was almost out of breath to hold back. I was also very nervous.

When Jorvina is by my side, I swear I'll never be complacent!

I gasped and fell to the floor, looking down to see that it was sky blue and made of diamonds. Agad akong napatayo at natumba din habang binaling ko ang tingin.

Oh, God! Ito pa yata ang ikamamatay ko!

"Do you enjoy?" I rolled my eyes at her, then I looked at her badly, and she looked at me innocently.

"Do I seem to be enjoying this situation? I have no idea you're mentally ill. Don't you realize that's not funny?" Sumimangot siya na parang walang ginawang masama, napatampal-noo na lang ako. "Where are we?" Tanong ko, biglang sumeryoso 'yong mukha niya.

"We're here in the place I created, this is called Peterio." Ang weird ng lugar na ito.

Inilibot ko ang paningin sa lugar.
"What is the purpose of our training here?" I shifted my gaze to her as she sighed.

"We don't know what your power is yet, so Linglie and I decided to bring you here to make sure nothing bad happens." I bowed my head. Is my power truly that strong that I still need to train here? Is this why I've been concerned about the power I'll have since the beginning?

"Let's get started," I nodded and concentrated on releasing my power, I would have been disappointed because it took a while, but I smiled a lot because a brilliant and white power appeared in my palm. Hindi ako makapaniwala sa nakikita ko. There are small yellow spots floating inside the white light.

"Make a shield," She gave me the order, and I wondered why she asked me to first make a shield.
"Just do it, you must know how to do it as your first line of defense, so that if you do not know how to use your power, you can protect yourself with it shield." I nodded because she had a valid point.

Sinubukan kong gumawa ng shield, n'ong una, sobrang hirap kasi n'ong itinaas ko 'yong dalawang palad ko para magpakita ng lakas hindi ko na kaya, I closed my eyes and when I opened it, I seriously released a white light that gradually grew and surrounded my body before dissipating like a bubble and transforming into a small circle that fell to the floor.

"Nakakainis! Bakit ayaw mong gumana?" Umiling ako at napatingin kay Jorvina na umiling-iling at dismayado ang mukha.

"Just focus, Lucky, don't let your irritation get in the way, and don't think you can't. Believe in your own abilities." I tried again, but the same thing happened as before. 

Napaupo ako sa sahig at pinanghinaan ng loob. kung sa isang simpleng panangga lang hindi ko na magawa. Ano pa kaya sa mga susunod na ipapagawa ni Jorvina?

"Stand there, Lucky!" Nagulat ako ng bigla siyang sumigaw, kaya agad akong tumayo pero pinanghinaan pa rin ako ng loob.

"Lucky, always remember to do what you want to do, not what is needed or required, but what you want to do, just like you do to help your fellow, perhaps you're helping not because it's the right thing to do, but because it's what your heart and mind want?" I blinked at what she said, considered it because she was correct, I smiled and then nodded.

Muli akong nag-concentrate at itinaas ang dalawang palad ko, pumikit ako saka nag labas ng lakas para ilabas ang kapangyarihan ko, napangiwi ako nang maramdaman ko ang bigat ng ginagawa ko, mahirap, napakahirap na para akong nagbubuhat ng napakabigat na bato ngunit katulad ng kung paano ako tumulong sa iba nang hindi iniisip ang magiging kahinatnan ko ay ibinigay ko ang lahat ng lakas ko para magawa ang dapat kong gawin.

Similarly, I no longer thought it was difficult and that I couldn't handle it, instead, I kept telling myself that I could do it. I know I can do it!

I was overjoyed that I had finally created a shield, I can feel how strong it is, like the endurance of how I am able to pass and get past the trouble I am putting on.

"That's how it is, Lucky." I frowned as I saw a golden-haired woman inside the shield I had created, wearing something that I looked very similar to what I was wearing when my power first appeared. I looked at Jorvina and was surprised to notice that it was not moving, then I discovered that she had temporarily become a statue.

What is this happening again?

"Who are you?" I asked the golden-haired woman, she smiled at me.

"I'm Virgo." I was shocked to know her identity.

"How come? What do you need from me?" Kinabahan ako nang bigla siyang sumulpot sa akin, ibig sabihin, ako talaga ang Celestial Guardian. Umiling ako. Hindi pwede ito!

"You are, indeed, the Celestial Guardian, but don't worry, no one will know." My forehead furrowed. What does she mean?

Magtatanong pa sana ako pero bigla siyang bumuga ng hangin sa mukha ko.
