Lucky's POV

“So, how are you? has your power gone out?” My shoulder sagged when Zaphael asked that.

Jorvina and I just arrived and the night reached us in that place, after I lay down on the sand it was only a few hours and I was surprised when she suddenly attacked me again and that's when our relentless fight started again but the night reached us and like yesterday nothing happened.

I shook my head, so Zaphael sighed.
“Your power will come out too, just wait.” He patted me on the back, I smiled at him.

“I hope so.” I said, I looked at Linglie when she spoke.

“Don't force it, take it to your heart.” She walked into the kitchen because she was going to cook our food, I suddenly thought of what she said, maybe I should take it to my heart.

“Tomorrow we will continue to unleash your power.” I was stunned by what Jorvina said, kapapasok lang niya dito sa bahay.

Wait—what? Tomorrow again?! Oh, god! I don't want anymore! My body is already in so much pain because she is really cruel, bukas pa ba? Hindi ko na kaya ’yan!

“Can I take a break tomorrow?” I scratched my head as her face became serious.

“There is no rest until we know the power you have.” She finally said and then sit on her chair, while I shrugged again because she didn't agree to the rest.

Looks like I have no choice.

“I'll rest in my room first.” Zaphael nodded after I said that, I walked to my room and when I got in I didn't hesitate to lie down on the bed to sleep because my whole body was really in so much pain, I didn't think Jorvina was that cruel.

In just a few seconds, my eyelids slowly closed.

Nagulat ako dahil pagdilat ko ay nandito na ako sa isang kubo. Napatingin ang magandang babae sa kinatatayuan ko, she was also the woman in the river and I frowned as she turned her gaze to the other side as if she couldn't see me.

“Why is he still unconscious?” She asked herself and her face showed that she was nervous.

What am I doing here? Why am I here? I just slept but why is it like this?

The woman walked back and forth until it stopped and sat on the bed where the man she had punched that night and hit the rock was lying.

“Why are you so handsome?” She asked, so I frowned, she caressed the man's cheek and brought her face slightly closer to the man.

Does she intend to kiss the man?

Nanlaki ang mga mata niya pati ang mga mata ko nang biglang nag mulat ang lalaki, to the woman's shock she accidentally punched the man.

“Aw! Why did you punch me?” Parang tumaas ang balahibo ko sa katawan sa sinabi niya, the tone of his voice was very dangerous.

“I-I'm so sorry,” The woman stuttered when she said that, the man stared at her and gaped at her. “Why are you looking at me like that?” The woman asked like a child, so the man averted his eyes.

“Nothing,” He replied then looked around the whole hut, and looked back at the woman.
“Where am I?” Tatayo na sana siya nang bigla itong napahawak sa ulo niya.

“Wait, don't stand yet, your wound in your head is still fresh–” The woman stopped what she was going to say when the man suddenly shouted, the woman's eyes widened but I just couldn't see her with the slightest bit of fear even though the man's voice was scary.

“I said, where am I?” The woman's eyes narrowed and then she hit the man on the forehead, making him even angrier so suddenly there was a black vein on his neck and shoulder. Napalunok ako ng wala sa oras dahil binundol ng kaba ang aking dibdib, sobrang nakakatakot siya.

“Don't yell at me! Sana ay iniwan na lang kita sa ilog.” Suddenly, the expression on the man's face changed, amazement was on his face.

Kahit ako ay namangha sa inasta ng babae, paanong hindi man lang siya natatakot sa lalaki? I do feel afraid of him but I'm very comfortable with him as well as the woman.

“What's your name?” The woman was stunned when the man asked that.

“Bakit naman niya biglang naitanong?” The woman whispered with softly voice but the man heard her.

“Just answer!” His voice echoed all over the place.

“Ikaw na nga itong nagtatanong, ikaw pa may ganang magalit!” The woman also shouted in a childish way, so the man suddenly laughed, the woman's eyes widened at the man's laughter even though me was surprised.

“I'm sorry if I punched you last night, I was really surprised to see you there.” The woman bowed and the man raised the woman's face with his left-hand then they stared at each other.

I don’t know why and but I suddenly felt tingling, this is the first time I feel that because when I see scenes like this I just feel annoyed.

“That's okay, it's my fault because I suddenly showed up there and didn't know if anyone was there or not.” He removed his hand from the woman's chin, then avoided looking at her.

“It's not your fault either, no one is to blame.” They looked at each other at the same time, so I giggled. I held my breath as they turned their attention to me and frowned.

“Did you hear that?” The woman asked then stood up and walked to my place, I was shocked when I just passed by it, her body passed my body as if I was just a soul. Shit! Why is that?!
“Wala namang tao rito.” The woman walked again and sat on the bed.

I breathed a sigh of relief as they did not see me or even feel my presence.

Tumayo ang babae at tumalikod, malamang ay balak na niyang lumabas pero bago pa man siya makahakbang ay biglang hinawakan ng lalaki ang kamay niya.

“Why?” The woman asked in surprise and I even noticed that her cheek was red.

“My name is Draco, what’s yours?” The man looked at his hand holding the woman’s wrist, he slowly removed it.

The woman walked to the door, then stopped and spoke.

“Just call me Erra.” She said without looking at the man.

Draco? Is that name familiar? I massaged my forehead because I was really too confused. How and why do I get here? And my bigger question is: Why do I feel this way about the two of them? Why do I feel sad and homesick?
