Jesse's POV

The ride home from the fair was silent. The only sound there was the car. When we got home an hour later, we left the fair at 10:30 so we were thirty minutes early. Me and Petra got out of the car and tried to go inside. But when I knocked on the door.....there was no answer. It scared me because my mom always answers the door the first time anyone knocks on it. Petra looked at me with a worried look. I went and knocked on Lilly's window.....no answer. "Okay, I have a plan." I said to Petra. She nodded in response. I went to my window and opened it. "I always have my window unlocked just in case." I climbed through my window and got inside my room, I then put my hand out of the window and Petra grabbed my hand and nodded. So I pulled my hand towards me slowly. When I got her inside I said "stay in my room", and I pulled a gun out from under my bed and slowly walked out of my room door down the hall. I saw a man in a black jacket and I ran into my hallway wall. Dang it. He turned around and pointed a gun towards me. I saw Lilly and my mom on the floor.........dead.  I ran back to my room and grabbed Petra by the hand and jumped out the window with tears streaming down my face. I ran, and ran from the house. "Jesse!! Jesse what happened!!!" She asked me really worried. I didn't respond. I just ran and ran
