9- Katrina

DO PEOPLE STILL READ THIS BOOK? I REALLY HOPE SO, I HAVE SO MANY PLANS FOR IT! :)

Elena and Addison walked to the Salvatore's porch, Elena knocking.

Damon opens the door. "Hello, Elena, Addison." Addison gives him a sarcastic look before walking around him, not waiting to be invited in.

"Stefan's here? He called. He said it was important." She hears Addison say.

"Right this way." Damon says to the two girls. They enter the house, as Stefan appears.

"Hey." He says to the two girls.

"What is this about?" Elena asks. Rose suddenly arrives.

"You." Elena says.

Addison uses her powers and throws the girl into the wall. "What are you doing here?" She demands.

"I'd tell you, if you let me go!" Rose exclaims.

Addison sighs before stopping the small spell, letting the vampire fall to the floor.

They go in the living room. Elena is sitting on the couch next to Addison while the other 3 stand.

"Okay, you have to understand I only know what I've picked up over the years and I don't know what's true and what's not true. It's the problem with all this vampire crap but Klaus, I know he's real." Rose explains.

"Who is he?" Elena asks.

"He's one of the originals." Addison whispers.

"He's a legend." Damon says.

"From the first generation of vampires." Stefan says.

Elena nods and says. "Like Elijah."

"No. Elijah is the Ester bunny compared to Klaus. He's a foot soldier. Klaus is a real deal." Rose says to the four.

"Klaus is known to be the oldest." Stefan says.

"Okay, so you're saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?" Elena asks them.

"Yes." Rose says, as Addison nods.

As much as she'd hate to say it, it was true. He was coming after Elena and she wasn't sure if that was a total bad thing. Of course she wanted her friend safe and not dead, but there was something with Elijah that made Addison feel safe. And even Klaus, when she heard the name. She wasn't scared like she should be, to her it felt more like a relief, which confused her to know end.

"No." Stefan says., sending a look to Addison, who shrugs.

"What they're saying is, I mean if what she's saying is true..." Damon trails off.

"Which it is." Rose says.

"And you're saying it so I don't kill you." Damon says.

"Which I'm not." Rose says.

"Then we're looking at a solid maybe."

"What about Addison? Elijah wanted her to. Why?" Elena asks, looking at Rose.

Rose shrugs. "He wasn't looking for her. He didn't know she existed, but she is of some importance to her." She answers.

"What importance?" Addison asks the vampire.

Rose sighs and was about to speak but was cut off by Stefan.

"Look, Elijah's dead, right?" Stefan asks. "So no one else even know that you exist." He tells Elena.

"Not that you know off." Rose and Addison both say.

"That's not helping." Damon tells the two girls.

"Look, I've never even met anyone who's laid eyes on him. I mean, we're talking centuries of truth mixed with fiction. We don't know if he's real. For all we know he could just be some sort of stupid bed time stories." Stefan says.

"He's real and he doesn't give up. If he wants something, he gets it. If you're not afraid of Klaus, then you're an idiot." Rose tells them.

"Aright, we're shaking. You made your point." Damon says. Elena gets up, pulling Addison with her.

"Where are you going?" Stefan asks.

"School. We're late." Elena answers, pulling the Shaffer witch with her to the front door.

"Let me grab my stuff, I'll go with you guys." Stefan says.

"It's okay, we know where it is." Elena says.

----------

Addison, Caroline and Elena walked through the woods. Elena was carrying a bag.

"Tell everyone I wasn't feeling well and I went home from school." Elena tells the two."I can't believe I'm agreeing to this. I'm a terrible liar." Caroline says. She looks at Addison. "I cannot believe you're agreeing to this."

"I am leaving town for the day. I need you to lie for me too." Addison tells her.

"And keep Stefan busy. I don't want him to know what I'm up to." Elena tells the blonde.

"I'm even worse at duplicity and you both know this." Caroline tells the two.

"You managed to keep me and Adds occupied when Katherine paid Stefan a visit." Elena tells the perky blonde vampire.

Caroline sighs. "Yeah, because she threatened me. Not that I'm saying that you should use that as a tactic, it's...Stefan's gonna see right through me."

"Caroline, as our friend, do you promise or not?" Addison asks her. "I'll bring you back some cool stuff?"

"You had to break out the girlfriend code and the free stuff code." Caroline groans. "Okay. I promise." She reluctantly says. Addison smiles.

"Okay." Elena says.

"Why don't you want Stefan to know?" Caroline asks Elena.

"Because he would never be okay with me doing this."

"And why don't you want him to know what you're up to Adds?"

Addison looks at her. "He'd somehow force me to stay here."

They go under the church ruins. They stop in front of the tomb's door.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Addison asks the Doppelganger.

"Yes, I'm sure. She's the only one who knows the truth about Klaus. The only one who can tell me how to stop him. Plus she might know stuff about you, Addison." Elena says, causing the witch to sigh, knowing Elena was right.

Caroline looks at the Doppelganger. "But you're asking for the truth from someone who's probably never giving it. Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah. I can't just sit back and wait. I have to know, Caroline. Please." Elena says. Caroline goes towards the door and opens it. "Katherine?" Elena calls out. She looks at Caroline and Addison. "I'll be okay from here."

They hear a noise. Elena turns her head and looks at the door entrance. Katherine arrives and stops at the entrance.

"Hello Elena. You come to watch me wither away?" Katherine asks her double. "Goodbye Caroline, Alycia." Addison gives her a confused look. "You'll find out soon enough." Katherine says to her.

"As long as I stay on this side of the door, she can't hurt me. Please." Elena says to the two girls.

Caroline and Addison look at them and leave.

----------

New Orleans - Louisiana - (she took a plane that's how she got there quickly)

Addison walked around the Quarter, looking at all the shops, tourists and people walking by. She smiles to herself, feeling more at home. She continues walking towards the small bar called 'Rousseau's'.

She enters the bar, smiling as she sees Jane-Ann, a witch, and her sister Sophie, talking. "My favorite Deveraux girls." Addison says to them, walking up to them.

"Addison!" The two sisters both exclaim once they see the other witch, hugging her.

"How's it been around here?" She asks the two.

"Crazy." They both say.

Addison laughs. "Where's Monique?"

"With Davina at school." Jane-Ann answers.

Addison nods. "Okay enough catch up for right now. We need to talk." She tells the two.

"Witch business?" Sophie asks. Addison nods.

"Who's Alycia Danvers?" Addison asks the two, causing the Deveraux witches to look at each other. "You know who she is, don't you?" The two don't answer. "Who is she?"

Jane-Ann sighs. "Go talk to Marcel. He know's more about her since he was there."

Addison nods and sighs. "Okay." She says and gets up before walking out of the bar.

Night - The Abattoir aka The Compound

Addison walked into the compound later that night, she looked around at all of the people partying. She walked into the party more, smiling lightly, loving the scene in front of her.

She moves through the crowds of people partying. She walks over to the bar, grabbing the unattended bottle of Bourbon, taking a sip of it. "Well, well, well. Ms. Addison Shaffer walks the streets of New Orleans once again."

Addison looks up seeing a vampire, Diego, who is also an old friend. "Diego." Addison says, smirking slightly.

"What are you doing back here?" He asks her. She smiles.

"Wouldn't you like to know? Where's Marcel, I need to speak with him." She tells him.

Diego looks around then back at her. "Talk to me." He says, smirking at her.

"C'mon Diego. I don't have time for this." She tells the boy.

"What's this about? If i knew, I could probably find him easier." Diego says, all joking aside.

"A woman named Alycia Danvers." Addison says.

Diego's eyes widen a bit. He grabs her arm, pulling her with him after she takes a long swing of the bottle.

Addison rolls her eyes. "Little rough there, D. At least buy me some dinner first."

"You want to speak to Marcel, lets go." He says and continues to drag her through the crowd over to the stairs, leading her a balcony.

She saw Marcel, watching over the crowd. She looks at Diego. "I'll meet you later, okay?" She asks him. He sighs and nods before walking away, back downstairs.

Addison sighs. "Marcellus Gerard." She says, walking up to him with a smirk.

He turns to her, surprised. "Addison Shaffer, what are you doing back here? I thought you went back to Mystic Falls."

"I did, but we need to speak." She says.

"What about?" He asks her.

She sighs and says. "Alycia Danvers."

"Haven't heard that name in a long time." Marcel says to the girl.

"Who is she?" Addison asks.

Marcel sighs and looks around before looking back at Addison. "She's you."

Addison looks at him, confused and shocked.

Night - Guest Room - The Compound

Addison sat on the bed, reading an old grimoire Marcel let her borrow. Flipping through the pages, not paying attention to the world around her, she hardly heard the door open.

"You doing okay?" Diego asks her, causing her to look up from the book, slightly startled.

She nods as he closes the door and walks over to her, sitting across from her. "Yeah, I'm okay."

He nods. "I'm here if you need to talk, or if you need anything else." He says before standing. She nods once more. He walks towards the door.

"Diego." Addison says standing. The vampire turns around looking at her, about to say something but stops as she kisses him. He places his hands on her hips. "You said anything." She mutters before he kisses her once more.

He used his vampire speed, rushing the two to the bed, laying Addison down, moving in top of her, still kissing. Addison pulls her shirt over her head, breaking away from their kiss. Diego kisses her again, before moving his lips to her neck.

He pulls away to take off his shirt. He looks down, seeing her smiling at him. He smiles back at her before kissing her once again.

Day - The Compound

Addison walked downstairs, seeing Marcel, Diego and Theirry talking. Marcel notices Addison walk downstairs, smirking at Diego before turning back to Addison.

"Addison, you leaving?" He asks her, seeing as she held her bag in her hands.

She nods. "Gotta get home. My friends need me." She answers.

Marcel nods. "I hope to see you here soon."

"I'll be back." She says, smirking slightly. "Thank you, for letting me borrow the grimoires."

"Keep them. They are yours." Marcel says.

Addison nods. "Thank you again, anyways." She says. She looks around the compound. "I'll be back here soon, I can feel it."

Marcel smiles slightly. "Oh, some witch called around here, saying she wanted to talk to you."

"Who?" She asks.

"Someone named Davina?" Marcel says.

Addison nods. "I'll visit her before I leave town."

Marcel nods. "Well, we'll be seeing you Ms. Addison Shaffer."

"See you around Marcel Gerard." Addison says before looking at the other two men. "Theirry." She says then looks at Diego. "Diego."

Addison takes one more look around before walking out of the compound, leaving.

------

"Davina!" Addison says as she walks to where the young 15 year old, witch stood. They were in the cemetery.

Davina turns around, smiling. "Adds!" She rushes to the slightly older witch. She hugs her, happily. "I miss you here."

"I miss it here too. But I'll be back. I can feel it." Addison says.

Davina smiles at her. "I hope so. It's kinda boring without you." Davina tells her. Addison smiles, hugging the girl once more. "Visit soon, or expect a very angry phone call from me."

Addison laughs. "I will, D. I promise." Addison tells her. "Call me if you need anything. I come right here, no matter what."

Davina nods. "I'll hold you to that." Davina tells her.

Addison nods. "It's a long drive back. I'll talk to you soon, D."

Davina smiles and nods, giving the slightly older girl one last hug and goodbye before Addison left the cemetery.

Addison got into her rental car, driving down the road and soon out of New Orleans, knowing she'd soon be back.
