(Nova and Bill's Third Year)

Nova's Point of View

I shove my trolley along quickly, causing Bill to pant behind me. "Slow down Nova!" I roll my eyes, "Hurry up William!" I counter stopping in front of the barrier. Mum came behind with Charlie following with his trolley.

"Excited Char? You get to start Hogwarts!" I cheered and he grinned. "Yeah. What house you think I'll be sorted into?" He asked anxiously. "A conversation for the train! Let's get on the platform." William declares and I grin.

"Ok go on you two." Mum says and we rush through the barrier. "Nathan!" I call and he turns with a grin. I start to make my way towards him but a hand yanks me back. "He's Slytherin Nova!" My twin chastised and I scowled. "He's nice!"

"Bill leave your sister alone. If she wants to be his friend it's her descision." Mum said and I stuck my tongue out at him. He huffed and let go of my arm. "I'll meet up with him on the train." I say turn to Mum. "Now Bill, Nova I expect you to help Charlie. He'll need his older siblings support." Mum started and we rolled our eyes.

"And he will need to know he isn't alone. Help him find his classes but don't smother him. We know Mum." She blinks surprised but gives us all hugs. "Have a good term." "We will." We all say and board the train.

"See you in a bit I gotta find Nathan." I say but again William grabs my arm. "Be careful ok? You can't trust Slytherin." I sigh and get my arm out of his grip. "I'll be fine. trust me." He nods wih a grim face and they head off to find a compartment.

"Thnks for defending me." I turn around and see Nathan standing behind me. "Well duh your my friend!" I exclaim and we set off to find a compartment. "Just a friend?" He asked. "Well for now maybe more someday." He smiled and we found an empty seat.

"So how was your summer break?" I asked as we sat down. "Okay kind of dull since we didn't travel like we usually do." He answered. "You?" I grin. "WIth my family its always exciting. Fred and George almost got Ron to make an Unbreakable Vow!" "Woah! Is he ok?"

"Yeah Dad stopped them just in time. I reckon their buttocks will never be the same after that." I chuckle and he shakes his head. "I guess that does make a giant effect on the mood huh?" I nod with a smile.

"I bet that as they grow older they'll cause loads more trouble." "Most likely." we talked the rest of the train ride about summers or about possible activities for the year. "Looks like we're almost there best go change." We each grab our robes and go to get them on.

"See you inthe morning." "See you." And we went our seperate ways. I met back up with William as he grabbed a carriage. "Charlie is extremely nervous." He reports and I sigh. "He'll be fine and no matter what house he is we'll love him. Right?" I ask pointedly and he nods.

"And this traces to any friends he has in other houses." I go on and he gives me a suspicous look. "Are you trying to indicate something?" "Er no! Just trying to get a clear foundation you know?" He nodded still not completely trusting.

(Bill and Nova's Fifth year)

"I don't get why you won't at least try talking to him!" I exclaim as we try to pack our trunks. "Because he'll just hurt you one day." William retorted turning to me. I snorted, "He's the nicest Slytherin in our year! And my boyfriend!" I snap gripping my textbook tightly.

"Dating a Slytherin is dangerous and I told you that!" "Oh like you know what's best for me!" "Seems like it!" We sat there glaring at reach other for a long moment. "You know what I'm not packing while your in here!" I growl and storm out of our room.

Charlie jumps to avoid me as I climb down the stairs. I sit down on the lawn and watch the clouds fly by slowly. Why did he have to be such a pain!? I was happy but he thought it wasn't real. "What's the matter-" "Dear oldest sister." I roll my eyes as the younger twins sat beside me.

"Nothing you two need to know about." They frowned at my response and I ruffled their hair. "HEY!" They called indignantly. I smirked and sat up. "Is William still in our room?" They shrugged. "Go be little spies and find out for me." They nodded and took off to the house.

About five minutes later Fred poked his head out of my window. "He's gone!" I shook my head, "Thanks you two!" George popped his head out too, "No problem." They chorused and vanished. I went inside so I could finish packing for Hogwarts.

When I was done I sat on my bed reading one of my books. William entered but didn't give me a second glance before busying himself with his notebook. The rest of the weekend was spent with the two of us in a stony silence.

"Bye Mum." I call and set out to find my boyfriend. "Hey Nova." "Hey Nathan." I say and sit across from him. "You seem down. What happened?" He asked his brow furrowed. I sighed, "Me and William had a row. Now we aren't on speaking terms."

I swear I saw a glint deep in his crystal blues eyes but he blinked causing it to vanish. "I can go talk to him." He said starting to stand up. I pull him back down with a frown. "No. It was about you. He thinks you'll hurt me some day. I argued you wouldn't. Right?"

"Right." Was that hesitation? No, I'm just being paranoid. "When he's ready he'll come talk to me. I'm not caving in." I say crossing my arms. He grinned and fiddled with his black and grey scarf.

"Nate?" "Yeah Nov?" "If anything ever did make us break up..................... You wouldn't hold a grudge would you?" He gave me a confused look, "No why? Why ask such a thing Doll?" I frowned at the word, "Just something that's been in my head."

He nodded but didn't relax after. He remained tense for the remainder of the ride. When we got to the castle I sat on the otherside of Charlie so I wasn't next to William. He seemed to feel awkward about it but it was the least of my worries.

Why was Nathan acting weird on the train? He normally acted so sweet and calm but today was different. He had been so on edge......... he had even offered to confront William. Normally he was terrified of my twin but not now.

What changed? What happened over the summer to make him this way? I can't ask him without drawing suspicion. "Nova?" I look up to see William staring at me from around Charlie. "I'm sorry ok?" I smile. "I accept your apology." He grinned back and we finished the feast in higher spirits.

(Bill and Nova's Sixth Year)

"Tell me the bloody truth Nathan." "What do you want to hear?" He demanded as we stood in the middle of the train aisle. "Tell me why you've been acting different all summer." I said crossing my arms.

"Not everybody stays the exact same Nova." HE growled and I narrowed my eyes. "That isn't what I mean." "What's going on?" I hear PErcy ask and I tense up. "Perc go find William. I'm dealing with something." "I'm here too, Nova." I sigh but don't turn.

"We're done, Weasley." My blood turned to ice. "W-what?" "I'm cutting it off. We are no longer a couple. I'm open to the world. You word it however. I'm breaking up wiht you." HE growled and my eyes widen.

"What for?!" HE rolled his eyes. "Maybe because your so clingy? Or always depend on your brother to defend you? You name it." He said and turned to walk off. But a hand on his scarf stopped him.

I whirled to see William had grabbed him. "You dump my sister like that?!" He hissed and I tried to get him to let go. "William let him go! You're hurting him!" I gasped and it was true, Nathan was slowly turning blue.

"Even after the scene he just made?! You still care for him?!" He demanded in disbelief. "I could care less for him right now, but it's called being the better person." I retort and he lets go grudgingly.

Nathan gasps and turns around angrily. I walk closer to him, my face hidden in shadow. "What now?!" He snapped and I tilted my head back to stare at him. I raised my hand quickly and he was left in shock as his head turned with the force of impact.

There was a silence as everybody stared in shock. He reached up and gingerly touched his face. My own eyes widened. I had never slapped someone. He hissed in pain and his fiery gaze now turned to me.

I began to back up anxiously. "C'mon let's go!" William said and pulled us towards an empty compartment. "Why did you do that?!" Percy demanded once we sat down. I didn't answer as I stared at my feet in shock.

"Shush Perc." Willaim said and kneeled in front of me. "You ok Nova?" HE asked gently and I blinked. "I don't know. I don't know what told me to slap him. It was like an instinct." I whispered holding up my hand.

"It's alright Nova. I promise. If anyone asks tell the truht. He was being a bloody arse." He answered and I finally looked up to see Charkie looking at me in sympathy and Percy in shock. I sniffed and squeezed William tightly.

He returned it as tears leaked from my eyes. "What did I ever do?" I asked my voice trembling. "Nothing sis. It was all him. I swear." I nod into his shoulder and close my eyes.

(Bill and Nova's Seventh/Final year)

"I can't wait to finish school!" I exclaim as we walked to the common room. "I know. HArd to believe we've been here for seven years." I nod with a grin. "Oi Nova watch out! There's a-" I bump into whoever William was warning me about and I land on my buttocks.

"You should have been-" He froze as he turned to me both our eyes wide. "Nathan." I hiss standing up. "Nova." He growled and we glared at each other. "Still feel the sting? I hope so, because I meant every bit of the slap." I state leaning forward with my arms crossed over my chest.

"Nova c'mon." William said trying to get me to the staircase. Nathan glared at me. "You will regret that someday. Trust me Weasley. *he leaned closer so he was in my face* I swear to makeyou feel the exact pain and worse." HE hissed his eyes holding a horrifying glint.

"Back off our sister!" Charlie exclaimed coming out of the Great Hall. Nathan straightened up wiht a nseer as Charlie and Percy stood in front of us. "Let's just go. This coward doesn't need to get beat." I say and walk around them William keeping stride with me.

"You good?" He asked as our younger siblings caught up with us. "Yeah just ready to make him pay for my pain." I answer and they all blink in surprise. "NEver heard that from you Nova." PErcy commented and I chuckled.

"Sorry just thinking about a lot. N.E.W.T.'s, graduating, being in the real world. Just a lot and running into him didn't make it any better. He's changed and not for the better. I know I'll have to face him someday but I'm scared about what the circumstances will be."

Willam gives me a side glance and I giv him a wink. HE rolled his eyes with a smile and our conversation turned to happier things. "So Head Boy, gonna be uptight?" I asked nudging him. "As long as Charlie does his job as a Prefect we'll be fine." He replied and I heard Charlie gulp.

I laughed, "Good. Wouldn't want an annoying twin all term." We all chuckled and sat in the common room as other filed in after us.

(2 days before graduation)

I growled as I flipped through the test before me. To lure a Niffler out of hiding what is the best type of metal? Seriously? I rolled my eyes, Gold especially coins that can be easily replaced. I glamced up at the giant hourglass that sat in the front of the Great Hall.

I frowned I had about 10 minutes left to finish my Care of Magical Creature N.E.W.T. I look back down and scan the next question. What creature is referred to as the water demon? Grindylows.

"Quills on the desks and roll your parchment. The ink will not smear. Tie with the blue ribbon provided." I obey and wait as Kettleburn collected each test. I held my breathe until he was well past me. Once he permitted us to leave I was one of the first few out.

William was waiting for me by the Black Lake but I didn't get to reach him before someone pulled me into an empty classroom. "Oi! What the bloody-" A hand covered my mouth, muffling my words.

Before me stood a boy with light blonde hair and crystal blue eyes. "Shut up already." He hissed. My eyes narrowed and I pulled myself away from him. "What do you want?" I was answered by him shoving his lips on mine.

I shoved him off me. "You are disgusting! I never want to be with you again!" I spat and ran out of the dark room. William caught me as I barrelled into him but I couldn't force myself to tell him what just happened.

"woah are you ok?" I gulped before nodding quickly. "Where'd you go then?" "Just uh the toilet!" I said quickly and he let me go. "Okay.................... How did it go?" "It was so easy!" I exclaimed as we left for the grounds.

He chuckled "I think Charlie'll disagree. He told me that he only answered the ones on dragons." I chuckle. "Of course he did." It was obvious that Charlie loved dragons. He always asked for dragon-themed items for Christmas and his birthday. It was a bit annoying but oh well.

(The following year)

"Do you have to go William?" I asked desperately. "Yes Nova. But I'll owl. Promise." He said and We wrapped each other in a hug. "Be safe in Egypt." "I will, watch yourself here." "I will." We seperated and everyone else gave their farewells.

William was moving to Egypt for his job at Gringotts. I've spent the past few days crying since that meant I wasn't gonna get to see my twin for months at a time. I'm trying not to be selfish about it. I'm happy for him, of course I am.

Just have to put myself in a new mindset. He gave a smile and wave before climbing onto the train. "I know dear. I know." Mum said putting a hand on my shoulder as I tried to hold myself together.

The train began to pull out of the station and I began to crack through my facade. I leaned into mum and sniffled. "He'll still come visit, Nova. He isn't gone forever." "I know but this is the first time we've ever been seperated like this. I'll miss him." I mumbled and she gave a light chuckle.

"Everyone has to fly alone sometimes. Don't worry you'll get a little used to it. And someday you'll find someone special to love." I leaned away at this. "Never again. He broke my trust in strangers." She gave me a small frown but then we all left, I glanced one more time over my shoulder before leaving again.
