The feeling was overwhelming. Sakura couldn't move neither her arms, nor legs, she could only let that pervasive power to suck her deeper and deeper. The invisible force was still pressing her limp figure forward, until there was nothing else to carry. This strange pressure in her body suddenly disappeared, replaced by a complete feeling of weightlessness.

It was at that moment that Sakura realized, she was falling down. With high speed, for a direct encounter with the branches of trees, that were surrounding one of the training fields. But it felt as if her body was too heavy to even move one limb, or perhaps she was too imbued with a prior feeling — the overwhelming one, as if someone had poured liquid lead into her arms and legs. She felt sluggish and incapable of any movement. At some point, she probably lost consciousness, because she didn't experience the painful meeting with the ground, nor the feeling of tearing her delicate skin or clothes against tree branches.

She moaned painfully, when the first signs of awareness burst into her dim mind, slowly breaking through the myriads of darkness before it flooded the eyes and mind of the young kunoichi. Gradually, feeling returned to her limbs, while her head ceased to weigh so heavily on her. The light slowly chased away the darkness and the stars that still swirled before her eyes. With a trembling hand, she reached up to her forehead to pump a little bit of healing chakra into it, then she breathed a blissful sigh of relief when she finally regained control of her own body.

She slowly rose to a seat and rested her hands on the soft ground, while her butt rested on the hard rock. Rock that just groaned in a harsh voice. To Sakura's still dazed mind, this pained groan didn't reach.

The pink-haired kunoichi looked dreamily at the familiar faces.

"What happened to Deidara... did you manage to stop him, Kakashi-sen... sei?" The remnants of consciousness finally burst into her mind as she spoke the words, slowly shedding light on the situation she found herself in. Well, the faces that surrounded her were not at all familiar, but alien. This was why her voice broke over the title of her former teacher.

Despite the regained power in her limbs, she still felt a little dizzy, but this was something she couldn't heal, because it was someone else's interference, as if the remnants of genjutsu were slowly leaving her mind, but still harassing the worn-out cells. Logical thinking after such an experience was out of the question, the young kunoichi felt dizzy all the time.

Sakura swallowed loudly, expecting that the surrounding ninjas would attack soon. However, as she looked at their postures, outfits, and finally their forehead protectors, she realised that she was dealing with the shinobi of the Leaf Village. In theory she was safe, but in practice...

Suddenly the black-haired boy pointed his finger at her, literally a second before doubled up, bursting out laughing loudly. "I don't believe it!" he shouted. "Stupid Kakashi defeated by a girl!"

Sakura blinked quickly, completely surprised by the stranger's words. She moved slightly, causing another harsh groan from the rock she straddled.

The pink-haired kunoichi once again glanced at the three unknown faces. The team consisted of: a dark-haired boy with goggles on his head, a brown-haired girl with a grimace of dissatisfaction on her beautiful face, and a man with a tumbling of golden hair and blue eyes, so well-known to her.

"Naruto?" she whispered as if enchanted, staring at the silhouette of a man in a jōnin costume.

The addressed person looked at her, completely surprised by the unknown name.

"I guess you must have confused me with someone else," he replied with a gentle voice, waiting for the puzzled mind of the girl to reach the meaning of his words, and when she finally understood that this man was not Naruto, then she also noticed how he was looking pointedly at the rock below her.

Surprised, Sakura slowly shifted her gaze to her hands, that were resting on someone's chest. Her eyes widened as she saw a boy not much older than she was, with a tumbling of silver hair, a familiar mask over his nose, and a completely strange outfit. Once again a pained groan escaped his throat as he tried to move his head.

Sakura touched the boy's forehead with a trembling hand, sensing a huge lump in the place where they probably bumped their heads. She swallowed loudly, still not quite aware that she was straddling him, and forced a little healing chakra into his swelling to smooth his forehead and rid him of a hideous purple remembrance. The least she could do for falling on him without any warning.

A soft huff came from the mouth of the second kunoichi. "How long will you crush him like this?" she said a little to harshly, right before shouting, "Get off Kakashi right now!"

Her voice rang in Sakura's ears before she jerked her up. The young kunoichi could barely stand on her own legs, which were still shaking from the power of the sensation that was that genjutsu... genjutsu? Wasn't Kakashi supposed to drag Deidara with the help of his sharingan... Wait a minute... Where were Naruto, the Elder Chiyo and Kakashi-sensei?!

Sakura shifted her gaze once more to the boy lying on the ground, now curled up in a foetal position and groaning in pain.

"Ha! And yet he also got hit in the balls!" screamed the happy brunet.

However, the pink-haired kunoichi did not seem to register these words, as suddenly understanding seized her. She studied his masked face until she finally realized who the boy was.

"Kakashi-sensei?!"
