Kakashi curled into a ball, hiding his hands between his legs as if trying to grab a sore spot. One glance at the situation around him allowed him to conclude that everyone had fallen for his act, and Obito's words only confirmed his theory. Only Minato-sensei posed a real threat with his keen eyesight. The young shinobi took a risk and glanced at his commander out of the corner of his eye, only to see Minato peering him.
Kuso!
He must have known that Kakashi was faking everything, it was just a window dressing. After all, he couldn't show everyone that he didn't really get hit in the groin, but only tried to hide how the incident with an unknown kunoichi had affected his body.
He let out another pained groan for effect, much to Obito's delight.
The only thing he had not foreseen was that when the stranger kunoichi finally noticed his condition, she would want to help him ease his pain.
Panic seized him, but he kept his composure.

Sakura has a feeling that something unusual would happen that day, when after a few hours of sleep, she got up right away, ready to go, glancing at their leader. Kakashi had a tendency to read until late, but somehow he always, as if magically, woke up first and ready to kick their enemies' ass at any moment. Therefore, when their eyes met at dawn on the same day, Sakura sensed the tension in him. She felt the same, but somewhere inside her a feeling of unease was awakening.
Now she knew where it came from. And it had nothing to do with the mission that had started a few days ago, let alone the fight against Sasori, although she felt equally bad then, fearing that she would fail her friends and lose the fight. Yet, deep withing her soul, she felt it was going to be a difficult day, but it would never have occurred to her that it would end so tragically.
Her legs were still trembling with the jutsu force Kakashi had imposed on her, or else she couldn't interpret it. Eventually, it was he who ripped off Deidara's arm and was about to retract it with his new sharingan technique, until she felt herself being sucked in by the thick air accumulated around the Akatsuki member. The last thing she remembered before being sucked in here was how she was clinging to the tree and trying to help Elder Chiyo, when the next moment she felt this overwhelming feeling just before she got here. She felt like squeezing her eyes shut tightly and begging for it all to be just a dream, another illusion, and maybe even another genjutsu, in which Kakashi would have caught her by accident, but not... that it was her new reality.
"Kakashi-sensei?" she repeated in a slightly calmer voice, in which you could still feel panic.
He looked so young now, quite different from the one she had known for so many years. She had already managed to note that he did not have his sharingan yet and that he had a rather unusual hairstyle, but It definitely suited him. The last thing Sakura noticed was his reddish cheeks and how he was writhing in pain that... she had driven him to!
"Oh no! Kakashi-sensei, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you!" She began to mumble before falling to her knees beside him and reaching out to him, summoning some healing chakra into her hands and gliding towards his underbelly. "I'll make you feel better in a minute," she assured him.
But she couldn't even reach with her chakra up to the sore spot as his long fingers tightened around her wrists, stopping her from further inspection, which would only prove that he didn't need her help at all.
"No need," he gasped, gritting his teeth as his body began reacting to her closeness again, as he was almost done with his unwanted erection.
"But I can really help you, Kakashi-sensei!" She said eagerly, trying to fight him. "It's my fault that I ell on you, and besides, I wouldn't want to damage you somehow for the future..." She felt the flush crawl up her cheeks, and though she knew perfectly well that she should be above her own weaknesses as a medic, she couldn't control it. "The testicles are a very delicate organ and must be cared for. I wouldn't forgive myself if I damaged my teacher in some way!"
Someone's laughter echoed in the background and Sakura was almost sure that it was the dark-haired boy cackling like that.
Her words must have made quite an impression on Kakashi, because his grip on her wrists loosened and Sakura could freely use chakra to examine the abdomen of the younger version of her sensei. She wasn't going to venture any further with her touch, because that was enough to pump some chakra and... find out that his testicles were whole and even intact, the only problem here was probably an uninvited erection.
Sakura inhaled sharply and almost jumped away from him, feeling her face burn. To her delight, Kakashi looked similar. It as then that she realized why he was blushing, when he was said to have been overwhelmed by pain, it was because of her, because she had been straddling her teacher a moment earlier! That must have brought him to this state!
Sakura covered her mouth with a trembling hand before clearing her throat to call herself to order.
"What do you mean by saying "Kakashi-sensei"?" asked the other kunoichi.
The man, whom Sakura took for Naruto, was peering her, although the corners of his mouth lifted a little bit as he understood what must have happened moments earlier between the two of them.
During this time, Kakashi used his chance to stand up and brush off his clothes, then stand in a position so that his slowly waning erection would not be visible. Once the problem was solved, he shifted his jaded gaze to the unfamiliar kunoichi as if he was not at all aware that his cheeks were still almost red.
"Why do you keep calling me your teacher?
Sakura tried not to look at him, feeling completely embarrassed by the whole situation. She turned her teacher on by straddling him without having a clue! These thoughts were killing her, and the blushing didn't make it any easier.
"Isn't it obvious?" she replied, staring at the tips of his boots, but her mind fooled her and she found herself staring directly at his crotch as if looking for signs of an earlier erection.
Are you serious, Sakura?!
Sooner or later, Kakashi would kill her for it.
The boy frowned at her answer. Then it dawned her that those people here had no idea that she came from the future.
"Well, er... how should I explain it to you..." she wondered aloud, tapping her index finger against her chin as she tried to think of the best words to put her message simple and not to go into details. "As you probably noticed, I am from the future..."
The dark-haired boy made an unidentified noise.
"From the future in which Hatake Kakashi is my... well, now he's my commander, but before that he was my teacher," Sakura explained.
The other kunoichi with dark eyes and chestnut hair looked at her questioningly. "But how did you get here?" she asked curiously.
Sakura scratched her head. "Well... I don't know exactly how," she answered truthfully, looking at Kakashi, who without this familiar scar on his face, looked somehow... different and it had nothing to do with his youthful beauty, but because Sakura noticed something unusual in his gaze. Something that the Kakashi she had known for years didn't possess.
The blond-haired man looked around at his students until his eyes finally focused on the unknown kunoichi. "Maybe give us an outline of the whole situation, and we'll try to help somehow," he suggested, and Sakura nodded her head eagerly.
"We were fighting against our enemy. Kakashi-sensei decided that he would use his new technique, but something seemed to have gone wrong and sucked me into his past, or at least I think so, judging by his appearance..." Here she pointed to a boy with a tumbling of silver hair, then continued, "We had a hard time defeating this enemy, and that was the only reason why Kakashi-sensei made the decision to use the mangekyō sharingan on Deidara, but somehow I also got sucked... oh no... no, no, no." Sakura started shaking her head when suddenly a thought hit her. "Kakashi-sensei used his sharingan, but he always uses it as a last resort because it's depleting his chakra too quickly!" Sakura's eyes widened as she looked at the younger version of her sensei. "So from a medical point of view, he won't be able to even lift a finger for the next week, which in turn means that... he won't bring me back now! So I'm stuck here for a week or so!" Sakura hid her face in her hands and whined miserably. "Oh no, it's even worse! My team has been deprived of a medical ninja! What if Deidara summons the rest of the Akatsuki and they'll attack us with the full strength and I'm not there?! Kakashi-sensei probably won't be able to fight anymore, Naruto will get mad and sweep everyone with his tails, and Gaara... who will heal him now...? Suna cannot be devoid of the Fifth Kazekage! Tsunade! Kakashi-sensei needs to send Pakkun with information to Tsunade! But the medic nin won't come immediately and they'll be defenceless for so long, and I... I'm stuck... here... with you... not good... oh, that's very bad..." Sakura continued to mumble her monologue as long as she thought about her friends in need, but still reminded herself that there was nothing she could do about it as she was stuck in the past. She was more and more terrified by the whole situation, while her new companions watched her in shock, that is, the dark-haired boy and the kunoichi, because the other two didn't show much reaction to her words.
"Well, the sharingan thing complicated it quite a bit," the jōnin said finally.
Kakashi just blinked lazily, as if he hadn't heard what Sakura had said, and he raised an eyebrow slightly just as she mentioned the name of one of his ninkens, as if he hadn't believe in the whole story about her journey back in time until then.
"Wait up!" The dark-haired teenager exclaimed, wanting to bring everyone's attention to him. "What sharingan? What are you talking about!"
"Kakashi's mangekyō sharingan," Sakura repeated in a slightly more composed voice.
"Mange-what?! How is it possible? He's not even from the Uchiha clan!" The dark-haired boy huffed, gesturing vigorously.
The blonde, who had been silent for some time, letting the rest of them speak, finally spoke up, "Perhaps it would be appropriate to introduce ourselves?"
Sakura nodded, but before she could even say anything, the leader spoke again, "My name is Namikaze Minato, and I am a teacher as well as the leader of the team Minato. These are—" here he pointed in order the right persons, while continuing, "Uchiha Obito, Nohara Rin and Hatake Kakashi, whom you already know."
Sakura followed the team to which her former teacher belonged, and she memorized new names and surnames one by one, trying to associate them with the faces. She also tried not to look at a member of nearly extinct clan as on some freak of nature, but it was stronger from her. In her times, the last descendant of the Uchiha clan was Sasuke, who turned away from them... The thought of him still caused her pain, and she had much more serious worries on her mind. Like, for example — a time travel!
Suddenly, more thoughts flooded her mind. She was in the past! Shit, she was in the past! Sakura suddenly pursed her lips into a thin line when she realized that a moment earlier she had revealed too much information, and she shouldn't say anything special that would indicate the course of future events. Otherwise, she could have influenced her present, and would not really want to change there anything, she liked her life as it was. The only thing she wanted to change, probably couldn't have been changed here in Kakashi's past.
A painful twinge in her heart told her not to think about Sasuke again.
Therefore, she shifted her gaze to the team leader, who gave her his radiant smile, deceptively reminiscent the one of Naruto. And she didn't want to go any further in her thoughts, but she already knew his face from somewhere. She just couldn't remember from where, but maybe it was even better, because what if she accidentally revealed all too valuable information to them all?
Suddenly, fatigue hit with redoubled force, and her still trembling legs could not hold out and Sakura fell down, twice making sure that her ass landed on the soft grass and not on one of Minato's team members. Instinctively, she directed her gaze towards Kakashi, and it lingered on his abdomen... Sakura scolded herself mentally for the wrong train of thought on which her mind was directed.
Seeing her like this, Minato made the decision to order a rest, the rest of the team agreed to the idea and no one protested. Well, maybe Kakashi didn't seem too pleased, but he didn't show any disagreement either. It was more about the earlier incident, although he had quietly hoped that by then this kunoichi had already forgotten how their first meeting had begun.
They all rested on the rocks near the tree, which was scarred with the amount of kunais and shurikens stuck in it, and Sakura double-checked what she was supposed to sit on before she actually took her seat.
"So you really are from the future," Obito said, examining Kakashi.
Sakura nodded in response.
"And you obviously know Kakashi, but maybe..." Uchiha stared at her with his sparkling eyes. "Haven't you heard about the great Uchiha Obito? Any chance that I might become Hokage?"
Sakura blinked in surprise, staring at his hopeful gaze. She didn't know what to say, because from what she knew, she didn't know any of their names. Except for Kakashi, of course.
Confused, she looked away from Obito and for a moment met dark grey eyes on her way, following her every move. Sakura felt how involuntarily blushes creep onto her cheeks.
"I'm sorry, but I only know Kakashi," she finally replied, looking down at her hands folded in her lap.
"So I won't become Hokage?!" Uchiha groaned dissatisfied.
"Well, don't give up on your dream," Sakura threw reassuringly, and Naruto's face loomed in front of her eyes as Obito pointed proudly with his thumb on himself. "I'll do my best and become Hokage!" he assured firmly, grinning in a proud smile and glancing at Rin.
Sakura couldn't help but return his smile, it was as contagious as the one Naruto usually treated her. It was at that moment that she felt dark eyes boring into her and she saw Rin measuring her with a little bit unfriendly gaze.
"You know us, and we don't know anything about you," she protested, and Sakura realized that she hadn't actually told them anything about herself, so she smiled apologetically at them.
"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself," she laughed before clearing her throat, casting a glance at Kakashi, who was still watching her closely, when she announced, "My name is Haruno Sakura. I am on the team seven since this squad was created right after graduating from the Academy. It was then that me and the two of my colleagues were assigned to Kakashi, who has been training us since then. And now he has become our commander." Sakura thought about the next words in order not to reveal too much. "For the last two years I have been training closely under Tsunade Senju and Kakashi-sensei, who helped me prepare for the chūnin exams. I am mainly a medic nin, but I can also control chakra flow really well, which unfortunately Kakashi-sensei could not teach me, so I trained with Tsunade. Moreover, I can control the earth and water element. Water is my nature."
"Kakashi taught you the earth element?" the jōnin asked.
Sakura nodded.
"Yup, and he helped me discover my nature," she replied.
Minato nodded appreciatively, glancing at one of his students.
"It looks like he's a pretty good teacher," Rin said, looking at her friend with a new dose of interest.
Sakura, on the other hand, covered her mouth with her hand not to burst out laughing. "Well, let's say that after so many years we've spent together, he made some progress, which does not change the fact that when you go to training under his watchful eye, you need to set a different hour of our meeting for him to show up on time," Sakura chuckled, but no one accompanied her, even Kakashi himself raised his eyebrow questioningly.
"Why?" he cast casually, but Haruno noticed a flash of interest in his eye.
"You always come late by at least two hours," she said with a broad smile on her lips.
Obito, hearing this revelation, burst out laughing. "I can't believe that stupid Kakashi is suddenly the latecomer!" Uchiha chuckled.
Sakura looked surprised as she glanced at Kakashi.
"Only for training and all social meetings, although he does not come to the latter at all, but on mission he is almost always punctual," corrected the pink-haired kunoichi.
However, it seemed as if the Uchiha did not hear her until Minato cut off the discussion.
"All right, it's getting late," he said, looking pointedly at the slowly setting sun, which was already casting long shadows of trees on them. "We'll meet here tomorrow at the same time as today, and we'll train. And since Sakura has joined our team temporarily, I think it won't hurt if we also try to test her capabilities. I've heard a lot about Tsunade's skills, but I'd love to see it with my own eyes," he said, smiling at the newly met kunoichi with some wariness.
Sakura could have sworn that she had already seen this smile somewhere.
And suddenly it dawned on her!
She remembered this face along with the other three photos hanging in the Hokage's office, and since the young kunoichi often helped both the Fifth and her assistant Shizune, she managed to get a fairly close look at the photos. And so she realized that she was just in front of the Fourth Hokage!
Her hand returned to her mouth, which she hid just before her jaw dropped. She sensed the familiar look of dark grey eyes on her, but tried not to look at its' owner, for she was afraid that he might read something in her face.
Minato looked at his students, then stopped his gaze on the pink-haired kunoichi. "In a moment we will go to our homes... And hence my question, Sakura. With whom would you like to go?"
Haruno bit her lower lip. She hadn't expected such a question at all, much less realized that she had nowhere to go other than with one of the members of team Minato. And while the option to follow the Fourth Hokage sounded tempting, she was concerned that she might still slip out something a little too quickly, so she preferred not to take any chances. And so her gaze followed to Kakashi, who immediately looked away from her, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his pants.
"Well, since Kakashi-sensei is the only one I know, I think... I'd like to go with him," she finally decided.
"Naturally," Minato smiled, while her sensei merely shrugged, not saying a word.
Adult Kakashi has this nasty habit of ignoring everyone for the sake of reading his porn novels to keep from getting into unnecessary discussions, but this teenage Kakashi was even more sparing of words.
"But... it's inappropriate!" Rin tried to argue, though one look from Minato was enough for her to be silent.
"What is wrong with a student feeling safer with her teacher than with people she doesn't know at all?" He asked, thus cutting all understatements.
When finally to her slightly dazed mind reached the meaning of Rin's words, Sakura involuntarily returned her memory to the point when she tried to heal Kakashi. Blushes adorned her cheeks and at some point she was about to change her mind as to with whom she should go, but then Kakashi spoke up and suddenly she didn't care.
"I really don't care, let's go," Kakashi muttered as he pushed off the rock he was resting on.
Sakura tried to avoid eye contact with Rin as she followed her sensei.
