I woke up to my loud alarm that was ringing violently in my ears.My eyes slowly open as I reach towards my alarm to stop the irritating noise. I sat up in my bed for five minetes then went out of my room to the bathroom to get ready.Once I've put my school uniform on done my hair and makeup I walk back to my bedroom and go on my phone.Soon it was 7:40 so I put my socks on and make my way to the living room.

"Morning sweetheart " my mother greets me

"Hey" I responded.

Soon enough the time came for school however I prefer to call it hell I mean like who likes a school.

After school

I walk our of the school gates with this bad feeling I decided to ignore it and carry on walking with my friend lexi.Once I arrive home I close the door the house is empty like usual no surprise there I guess.I go up to my room and stated to watch Netflix after a hour I hear someone down staires knowing it my mother I go down to greet her but it wasn't just her.

I saw her in the living room with someone with black short hair however the woman's back was facing me so I couldn't make out her face.

"Hey mum" I say with a smile the Moment those two words left my mouth the unknown woman turned round the same time my mother opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out.

"Um what's going on?" I asked getting a bad vibe from what ever is going on.

I could see that my mother was hesitant before sighing "Theres something you need to know"

"What I'm about to say doesn't mean I love any less"

" Mum please just tell me" I pled

" I'm not your birth mother you were.....adopted" She says with nothing but sorrow in her eyes.

The moment those words left her mouth I felt like everything I've ever known was a lie I felt betrayed but most of all I felt heartbroken.
