:Epilogue:

Author's Note: The previous part was the technical ending to the story, but I still wanted to add this little epilogue.

This series is honestly what got me some footing on this site, and I may be sad to see it end yet all things need to end at one point. It amuses me on how many views this story has (2,218 as I'm writing this). I'm glad that ya'll enjoy this story.

(A week after the events of Another Side to The Hermits)

 Grian:

I sat alone in my base late at night.

The sound of my birds in the aviary calming down into a restful sleep almost lulled me into quick dreams as well, but I couldn't bring myself to sleep tonight.

I looked down at my casted arm. It was suppose to be better by now, but I guess the fast healing of the alternate universe didn't apply to me or Ren.

My leg was feeling way better now, but I still had an awkward limp that almost made me fall over unless I was using a crutch.

The good news was that Joe immediately got to work with Stress on Ren's injuries and my own injuries; Mumbo, Doc, and Iskall were by our sides the whole time up until tonight where they were forced to go back to their homes to sleep.

Doc had hissed at Joe that he was taking Ren to the stock exchange building no matter what. Joe chose to not argue and allowed Doc to carry out his plans.

I sighed. This was what led out to me being alone; however, it wasn't the reason why I couldn't sleep. The reason why was because I still felt jittery about the events that transpired in the other world.

Was there more worlds out there where we're all different? I frowned.

I honestly don't want to find out right now. I stood up and took the crutch that Joe left me. I went up the water elevator and looked out to the open sea and stars. The sea breeze going though my hair as I fixed my glasses.

" It's nice to be home..." I yawned as I watched the waves roll by. There was a small glow in the sky as a box gently floated out down from the night sky. I raised my hand up and caught it, " It's probably something from Mumbo...." I tiredly reasoned as I walked back inside.

I sat the box on my side table and opened it. A small picture frame was inside along with a note.

The picture was of all the swapped hermits gathered together, but there were more than I met. Zedaph, TFC, Biffa, Python, and Stress were present. There was also....

 The Evolutionists?

I looked at who was swapped with who.

 Zedaph and Tango were swapped.

 TFC and Python were swapped.

Biffa and Stress were swapped? That's a bit odd but okay.

Martyn and Solidarity seemed to have swapped with Zee and Mini respectively.

 Netty swapped with Salem.

 Tom swapped with BigB.

Pearl and Taurtis weren't pictured though. Did they swap with each other, I wonder? I shook my head and smiled slightly. I read the note:

 Grian,

We're sorry about kidnapping you guys and trying to use you against the D-Team. I know that you can't easily forgive kidnapping, but hey, maybe there will be a time where we can help you again, or you can help us.

I hope you and your friends are recovering well. There will be another message tomorrow. Good night or morning.

 -Other you.

I looked back towards the entrance of my base. It was good that the others there were also recovering well. I looked back down at the picture frame in my hand and set it down on the nightstand with a smile.

I sat down on my bed and set my crutch to the side.

" Goodnight everyone...."I typed into the chat as I laid down took my communicator off. The tiredness finally welcoming me into a peaceful sleep.
