Author's Note: Part 9 ladies and gentlemen! Though the POV has shifted. Why? Well, an unconscious Grian wouldn't be that exciting to follow, would it? 

 If you think about it Swap!Doc is technically Grian's counterpart (and Swap!Grian is also Grian's counterpart, but things get complicated for me if I try to explain it. Even I'm confused by it sometimes guys.)

Swap!Doc's POV:

We, D-Team, were all gathered at the meeting table, " Okay, so how is this war suppose to go if our counterparts are here?" I questioned as I stood at the front of the table. 

 Everyone looked at each other in silence.

 " I suppose if the Convex can't get them home soon then they can watch the war with Python." Wels sighed as he leaned back. 

 The others all mumbled in agreement as X came into the room with his arms crossed. He sat down in his chair with a worried look in his eyes.

 " What's wrong X?" Ren asked as he sat up. 

 X looked at all of us, " I don't feel good... That's all." he reassured as False joined in, " X, what's actually wrong?" she questioned as X looked away. 

 I looked towards X as well, " Does this regard our counterparts?" I asked as X looked back at me. 

 He nodded sadly. 

 I walked over to X, " We need to know this X." I sighed as X looked down, " I'm concerned about leaving the Otherworlders at the country club alone with Cub and Scar. We all know that they've been acting funny ever since they found that weird crystal in the ground." he looked up at me.

 The others all nodded. 

X was right. 

 Before the others arrival into our world, Scar and Cub found a weird crystal. This crystal let them see into this other world where our counterparts lived. This changed something in their minds. I guess that this crystal may have forced them into building that machine that dragged the others into our world, but what was the reason why? 

 Ren put his hand on my shoulder, " What do we do?" he asked as his ears went down.  I smirked as I grabbed Ren's shoulder and looked at the others.

 " We're going to that club and destroying that crystal, and if that requires saving our counterparts then so be it." I dropped my arm with a grin.

The others looked at each other, nodded, and stood up, " Let's do it then. " Wels smirked as he crossed his arms. 

 We all grabbed our gear and headed outside, " Alright, Wels, False, and X. I need you guys to scoop around the country club and call me about anyway we can break into that base." I ordered as the trio nodded and flew out of the base. 

 I looked towards Impulse and Ren, " We're going to break the others out of that place and destroy the crystal." I grinned as the others nodded. 

 The three of us left the base and a row of arrows flew in front of us.

 I shook my head and turned around to find Grian, Mumbo, and Iskall standing on top of our base. I shoved my hands into my lab coat's pockets. The three of them hopped down from the roof.

 " What do you three want?" I sighed as my tail twitched. 

 Mumbo took a step forward, " I'm sorry for shooting Grian and Ren and breaking their bones. I was just trying to stun them..." Mumbo frowned as he awkwardly grabbed at his arm and looked down. 

 Ren took a step forward, " Mumbo, It shouldn't be us who you're apologizing to." he sighed as his ears drooped. 

 Mumbo nodded slowly; he kept his head low. 

 Impulse took a step forward, " Let's worry about the apologizes after we break into the country club. The six of us getting into a sudden argument would be bad." he shook his head as Iskall nodded in agreement. 

 I looked down at Grian, " Do you seriously want to help?" I asked him as he nodded; an actual look of worry in his normal eye. The six of us waited for False, Wels, and X to come back.

 " If you guys split into two parties then you should be able to have one party distract Cub and Scar, and the other party should be able to break in straight through the front door no problem." False reported when she took Grian and the others in consideration.

That was the plan.

 Grian, Mumbo, and Iskall would fly around the base distracting Cub and Scar hopefully while we sneak through the door. X, Wels, and False decided to remain at the base to try and work on building defenses for the war while we're gone. 

 The six of us took off into the sky towards the country club. It took maybe over an hour, but we all reached the base. 

 I looked over at Grian, and he nodded quickly as he and the others took off into the sky. The three of them flew around the base and fired arrows at it while shouting into the air. The moment I saw Scar exit the building in his armor with his sword out the three of us snuck inside.

 I looked around, " That secret entrance should be...." I walked over to a wall and punched it causing a door to open, " Right here." I smirked as I looked towards the others.

  I looked at the others, " You guys ready?" I asked as I took out my sword, " Let's do this." Ren grinned as his tail twitched. 

 Impulse gave me a nod, " They won't see it coming." he smirked as I nodded.

 The three of us ran into the base, and we traveled down the stairs towards the basement of the building with hopes that we would find the machine, the crystal, and the others there.
