# At the University

Jimin and Namjoon met at the gate just waved and smiled. Then they saw Hobi alone heading to their building and a lonely Yoongi sitting under a tree.

"Hey, Hobi! Wait for us."

Yoongi looked at them after hearing Jimin's voice.

"Why're you alone today? Where is Jinie?"

"His father came home today to visit him. So, he's not coming today."

Yoongi got curious and came to the boys.

"Hi, Suga! I mean Yoongi!" Joon slipped his words but Jimin didn't noticed.

"Hobi, does Jinie's father not live with him?" Jimin continued.

"No, he lives with me, my family. His father has a business overseas. So, he sometime comes to visit Jin. My parents are very close to Jin's father."

"Where is his mom?"

"He doesn't have mother..." Hobi couldn't continue because the bell rang. They run towards their classrooms.

# Jin's Classroom

Kook was waiting for Jin and Hobi, but after seeing Hobi alone he felt sad,

"Where's Jin?"

"He's not coming today."

"Why? I miss him."

Hobi suddenly got angry hearing Kook's words but he didn't know why.

"Why are you guys so curious about him? We just met yesterday. He's not that close to you."

"Hey! Calm down! Why so angry? I'm just telling you the truth. I really miss him. That's all."

The class began.

# At the Canteen

Jimin was talking to Tae and Kook. Then Yoongi and Joon came to them and sit beside them. Without telling the boys were getting close. Hobi came and thought for a second if it was right to sit with them or not. He was alone without Jin. So, he decided to spend his time with them.

"Hey Hobi, if you don't mind, can I ask you something?" Jimin softly asked.

For Hobi, Jimin seemed nice and harmless. So, he doesn't mind talking to him.

"Yes, what's it?"

"Is Jin's mother dead? Why he lives with you. I'm just curious. You're our friends. But we don't know anything about you... Trust me! We just want to be real friends to you guys."

"It's okay. I kind of trust you."

"What about me?" Kook asked.

Hobi glared at Kook and said, "I don't trust you or that Yoongi guy or that Tae."

"So, you have a vibe check, hunh?" Kook mocked.

"Don't you dare mocking me!"

"Stop, stop! Don't fight!" Joon shouted. "We really wanna know Each other better. Please Hobi." Two cute dimples appeared and Hobi just melted.

"Okey. The truth is we don't know anything about Jin's mother. In fact Uncle is not his biological father."

"Really?!" They said together.

"I heard from my parents that Jin is Uncle's close friend's son. I first met Jin when we were just four. He was extremely shy are adorable. And I was quiet and moody."

"Now, you're same as before. Haha!" Kook mocked again. Hobi just gave him a deadly look and continued.

"At first, I didn't like him. I thought why was he that humble, kind and dumb. He was ready to help anyone anytime, even if he hurt himself. So, I basically hated his purity."

Everyone was listening to him quietly. Then the bell rang. Hobi was about to stand up and go to the classroom, Yoongi suddenly said, "Let's skip class! I wanna hear more from Hobi."

Hobi was dumbfounded.

"Yes! Skipping one or two classes will not hurt us. Right?" Said Jimin. Kook and Tae nodded.

"No, it'll hurt us!" argued Joon.

"It'll hurt only you, Joon. You're a nard!" Joon didn't like Tae's attitude. But majority was against him. So, he kept quiet.

"Okay!" said Hobi.

"Then, Let's go to our hideout!" Tae shouted.

# At the Hideout

"Let's continue, Hobi." Said Joon.

"Hmm. So, one day, I was playing at a park near our house. Jin was inside our house with uncle. I didn't want to play with him. So, I went out alone. After sometime, some other boys came in the park. They saw me alone and were teasing me. I became so angry that I didn't say anything and punched a fat ugly boy. Then, the other boys caught me and punched me in my belly. We started fight."

"Then?" asked Jimin.

"Then, out of nowhere Jin came and took some punches and kicks covering me. I was shocked. He fell on the ground unconscious. His lips were bleeding. His cheeks were bruised. I felt like crying."

The boys were shocked too. They just kept quiet holding their breath.

Hobi continued, "I ran into my house and told everyone. Uncle and my father ran with me towards the park. We took Jin home and called a doctor. He was alright. Doctor treated him and suggest us to make him rest for some time. I was sitting on the bed beside his head. I felt guilty. I wanted to tell him sorry. I was guilty that I hated him before. But he was kind and friendly to me. I heard him talking in his sleep, "Don't hurt Hobi. Please stop!" Tears fall down my cheeks. After like one hour Jin opened his eyes. I gave him a sad smile. He smiled too and asked me if I was alright or not. Then I felt some tightness inside my chest. I assured him that I was okay."

The other boys felt it too. "Then?" Kook asked with teary eyes.

"Then... I promised to myself that I'll become Jin's best friend; his family, I'll protect him no matter what, I'll always be his side." Tears dropped down Hobi's cheeks. Tae came forward and wiped his tears. "Hey, don't cry! We can feel you. Now, you two are not alone, we are here with you. We'll be best friends forever. Right, guys?"

"Yes!" They all said. Kook hugged Hobi tightly making the boy's eyes go wide in shocked. Yoongi wanted to hug him too, but he controlled himself. The atmosphere was warm with the boys heartful love. And they were missing Jin, wanting to hug him.
