Hobi opened the door and saw Jin in PJs with his pillow.

"Could not sleep? What's the matter?" Hobi asked hugging Jin.

Jin slowly sat down on Hobi's bed hugging his pillow. "Hobi, do you think I can sing well? I mean, Will I be able to fulfill Yoongi's request?"

"Is that all? It's not something to be bothered with. You're a great singer, Jin. Your voice is so beautiful. People will love your voice. I'm sure!" Hobi said caressed the other's head.

"Hope so. And one more thing"

"And what's that?"

"Will dad allow me to sing?"

"Don't worry, you dumb! Uncle will never stop you from doing what your heart wants."

"You're right... Hobi, can I sleep with you tonight? I was feeling lonely in my room."

"Is that even a questing? You're always welcome to sleep with me. I am even thinking of shifting to your room. We'll stay in the same room every day and night." Hobi gave a shining smile.

"Ewww, too cheesy! Stop it and go to sleep. We have classes tomorrow. Good night!" Jin lied down on his side.

"Good night!"

# At Yoongi's house

"Mom, you go sleep, I'll clean everything," Yoongi said wiping the table with a cloth.

"You don't have to. Your friends are decent. They didn't make a mess. Even they helped me too. I like them. After a long time, you have a great friend circle."

"Yes, mom. I'm so blessed to have them in my life."

"But, son, I'm worried about you and Jin."

"Why, mom?"

"Jin resembles Heejin. Her memories are not good for you. You wanted to forget about her. But fate brought them back with Jin. Don't stress yourself and always remember that Jin is not Heejin. God might thought that bringing Jin into your life will heal you, not break you more. Think positive, baby!"

"You're right, mom. I'll try not to think about Heejin looking at Jin."

After cleaning together Yoongi went to his studio to work on the song, they'll sing together. "Namjoon was right, this song is perfect for Collab with Jin and Kook. Jin's voice will defiantly match with my rap. He has the emotional voice that I need. Kook will do his best too, I'm sure. He doesn't like me that much, I like him. Let's work hard, Yoongi." He thought. He fell asleep working in the studio.

(In the morning)

# At Hobi and Jin's house

"Boys, breakfast is ready. Don't be late for your class!" Mrs. Jung yelled so that they can hear it from their room.

Jin opened his sleepy eyes and saw Hobi's sleeping face. He was cuddling with Jin and smiling in his dream. Jin fondly smiled at him and gave him a short kiss on the forehead. Then poked his chest and tried to wake him up, "Hobi, get up already! We're gonna late! Wake up!"

"Two minutes, Jinie. Just two minutes."

"Okay, you continue your sweet sleep. I'm going to call Yoongi and Jimin to accompany me to the Uni. You don't have to wake up." Jin got up from the bed and before he opened the door, he saw Hobi on his feet.

"Look, Jin, I already got up. Let's get ready!" Hobi was standing behind him with messy hair and an adorable smile.

"Okay, I'm going to my room."

(Sometime later)

"Jin, I have good news for you." Mrs. Jung said, serving the boys food.

"What's it, aunty?" Jin said munching on his pancake.

"Your dad is coming back today. He'll stay here more than a week this time."

"But he did not say anything to me." Jin was surprised.

"He wanted to give you a surprise. But I thought that you can have plans with your friends. So, I'm spoiling the surprise, so that you can be present when your dad comes."

"Thanks, aunty. I'll be back early today, then."

"Let's go Hobi!" Jin grabbed Hobi's hand drag him towards the door.

# At the University

Jin and Hobi were late. They ran towards their class and crushed on their seats sweating.

Kook offered them his water bottle. They almost emptied it.

"Breath, you two! You never come this late. What happened today?" Kook asked.

"This Hobi is the reason, Kookie. I tried to wake him up early but he is a real sleepy bear." Jin pouted.

"How could I wake up early when I spent a good time sleeping beside you, Jin. Cuddling you is so comfortable! You have to sleep with me every day. If you promise that then I promise you that I'll wake up early." Hobi pinched Jin's ear.

"You two slept together?! Cuddling?" Kook asked with wide eyes. "They are really close. That's not fair. Hobi, you're damn lucky. I'm jealous." He thought.

"Oh, yes! We sometimes share beds. We're so comfortable with each other." Hobi said with a smirk.

Kook pressed his lips in a straight line. He didn't want to talk about this anymore. He was in a bad mood. Jin was about to tell him something but the professor came and the class started.

# At the Canteen

The boys gathered. They were chatting. Suddenly Hobi's phone rang. It was his mon. She asked them to bring some desserts for dinner. Jin was in a good mood and smiling often.

"Wow, Jinie is in a good mood today," Jimin asked with a sweet smile.

"Yes, my dad is coming back today. He'll stay for some days. I'm so happy." Jin said happily.

"That's great."

"I miss him so much. But he has his reasons. So, I understand." Jin sighed.

"You have your father, though!" Yoongi said with his head low.

"But, Yoongi, you have your mother that I don't have. So, there is nothing to be sad about. Your mother is enough for you and my father is enough for me." Jin said softly holding Yoongi's cheek.

"You're right. That's why my mom is my world. I want to protect her and make her happy at any cost."

"You're her happiness and proud, Yoongi. I saw it in her eyes when you were singing."

"Yes, we saw it too." Others agreed with Jin.

"Let's go bake to our classes. It's time for our next class," said Joon and they returned to their classes.

# In Jin's class

Kook slightly bend his body to his right to be near Jin and whispered, "Hey Jin, we'll work on the song together. Are you excited? Because I'm very excited and can't wait!"

"Yes, I'm excited too. But I'm nervous if I fail to reach the expectation of you guys If I make the song a disaster."

"You'll not, Jinie! Don't worry. Just convince your father. Okay?" Kook gave him a fond smile with his big deer-like eyes.

"Yes, I'll try my best, Kookie!"

"So, will you go to Yoongi's place with me today? You don't have to bring Hobi with you. He has no role in our song... So, he can rest in his room or go to our hideout."

"I heard you, Kook. You don't have to worry about Jin. I'll accompany him to Yoongi's house. I don't have anything to do at home. So, I'm free to go."

"But you'll be bored there. You can spend some time with others at our hideout." Kook was irritated because Hobi was interfering. But he didn't hate him, he just tried to convince Hobi to leave Jin with him.

"You don't have to worry about me too, Kook." Hobi gave him a cold look. Kook knew that Hobi is over-protective of Jin and he didn't trust Kook that much yet.

"Can I say something?" Jin said eyeing the tension between Hobi and Kook.

"Yes! I wanted to hear your answer." Kook said shifting his gaze to Jin.

"First, I'll not be able to go there today. I'll wait for my dad at home to give him a surprise. And for other days, I can go with Kookie. He's also my friend and I trust him. Don't worry too much, Hobi. I'm not a kid, and he is not a monster, he'll not eat me. You can rest or spend some time with aunty or others." Jin gave Hobi an assurance smile.

Kook was so much happy that he can spend some alone time with Jin to know him better. But Hobi was disappointed.

"It's not like that I don't trust Kook. But... leave it, you'll not understand, Jin. It's complected." He always got a different vibe from Kook when he was with Jin. Kook was too fond and clingy to Jin. Hobi was afraid that if they became closer Jin would replace Hobi with Kook. He couldn't imagine Kook being Jin's best friend, not him. If you say that Hobi was possessive then he was. They were best friends from their childhood. He could not lose Jin to anyone. Also, Kook and Yoongi were making him insecure.

"Don't worry, Hobi. I'll take care of our Jinie. No one can lay a finger on him when I'm with him." Kook placed his hand on Jin's shoulder and gave Hobi a smirk.

"I'm not afraid of anyone but you and Yoongi," Hobi whispered to himself.

"Then it's sorted. Oh, I'm so excited, I can't even describe my excitement." Kook said and the professor came for their next class.

On the other hand, Yoongi just wanted the classes to end, so that he could go back to his studio. He wanted to work on their song as soon as possible.

Their classes ended and they all gathered at the main gate.

"Are you two going with me? One second, where's Jin and Hobi?" Yoongi questioned Kook.

"They have gone back early today. Jin's father is coming. I'll join you at 6 p.m." Kook explained.

"Okay." Yoongi didn't say any farther. He planned to give Jin a call to invite him after going back to his house.

# At Jin and Hobi's house

"Aunty, when is my dad coming? Do I have some time to prepare something for him?" Jin ran through the front door and asked Mrs. Jung. He was breathing heavily due to running that much.

"First, calm yourself down and drink it." She handed him a glass of water. "I prepared everything. You don't have to worry. Just get changed." She smiled.

(After 30 minutes)

Jin heard the front doorbell ring. He knew it was his father. So, he ran to the door and opened it with a smile.

"Jin? You're home? I thought you were with your friends." Jin's dad wanted to give him a surprise when jin came back.

Jin didn't want his dad's plan to go wasted. He said, "Oh, I... My friends have separate plans today. So, we came back home early. Dad, you didn't tell me that you're coming back today." He pouted.

Jin's dad gave him a tight hug, "I wanted to see your surprised happy face, my child! And I succeeded." Then Hobi came and he got a hug too.

(Time skipped one and a half hours)

Jin's father was sitting on Jin's bed. Jin was in the kitchen, helping his aunty. Suddenly Jin's phone rang. After full rings, it stopped and started ringing again. Jin's dad thought it might be an important call so he took the phone and saw the calling ID and his heart skipped beats. The phone fell from his hand. "It can't be! It can't be happening! Have I mistaken him for someone else?!" he was lost in his thoughts.
