Okay, so this is a bit of an overdue explanation

But some of you may know I used to be an all BATIM ((Bendy and the Ink Machine)) account

Well, what happened?

First of all, if you know me well enough, you should know that it's nearly impossible for me to focus on multiple fandoms at once. I call this "monofandom"

Second, my BATIM obsession faded for multiple reasons

The first reason is that it's just getting...boring. There hasn't been any news about it for a while now. The developers of the game announced the production of a new BATIM based game over a year ago and yet we have gotten only a few updates since then. By the time BATDR releases, most of the fandom will have faded away

The next reason is that my Trolls obsession instantly returned after watching Trolls World Tour. I watched it a few times, and I loved it. I still love it, obviously XD

But my hardcore obsession began after I drew Delta Dawn for the first time. I realized how fun drawing the new Trolls was and decided to start drawing them more often

The more I drew them, the more obsessed I became, and now here we are

So, that pretty much explains it-

BATIM is dying, unfortunately. I still like the game, but my obsession just...went down

Hopefully BATDR will be enough to respark my interest

There is a new Trolls series coming out soon called "Trollstopia", so I'm excited for that XD

And I know what you're thinking-

"How did your BATIM obsession get replaced by a children's movie?"

If you've seen any of the Trolls movies, then you know it's definitely aimed towards little kids. It's colorful, musical, and overall positive and cheerful

Think about it- I'm a teenager living through 2020. The positive energy from Trolls keeps me smiling and happy, and that's a good thing! My whole family knows I used to be such a negative person until I was introduced to Trolls. Yes, they know I'm obsessed with it, and they understand why and how

Everyone has their own coping mechanisms. Some people listen to music, some people write in a diary, and some people - like me - watch children's movies to escape reality and feel as if there's more to experience out there than negative energy

So, yeah!

I'm gonna try to sleep now because I unfortunately have school tomorrow :')
