Kieran felt recovered after the Stormy Sickness, the Denial Delta's effects, and just about everything else that he experienced. He felt as if the adventure was coming to a close, that they had accomplished their mission. He glanced around the Endless Sea, seeing nothing but water and sky. And then he saw it. He saw a building looming in the distance and he realized that this was the castle of the Queen.

Kieran yowled in joy for everyone on the Sailtrain to hear, "We've found the castle!"

Almost instantly, every crew member hopped on deck.

Tanner asked Kieran, "Are we really here?"

"Yes!" replied Kieran, pointing to the castle.

Tanner's eyes widened in surprise, "We're really here!"

"I never thought we would make it!" chimed in Mason.

Savannah chimed in as well, "But we did. We made it to the castle"

Suddenly and without warning, the rails started spiraling in all directions before finally breaking into pieces. The Sailtrain spun out of control and landed in the sea, sinking. All of the crew members were drowning. Kieran glanced frantically at his crew, but they were nowhere to be seen. Kieran was losing breath fast. It was as if he was going to die here. But he can't die. He was so close to finishing his quest. He can't give up now. But he can't go on, not without his crew, his friends. He closed his eyes and lost consciousness.
