"Just a little to the left Natsu..." Lucy directed, with one hand gripping his pink hair and the other reaching for the top of the tree.

"Hey Luce what I just jump up to it?"

There was a long pause before Lucy answered.

"Natsu don't you dare."

"... but Lucy, I'm sure it'll work"

"No!"

"Here we go" Natsu stedied himself

"Na-Natsu!"

"OW!"

Lucy growled slightly. Natsu gave a nervous laugh.

"Well I guess it didn't work after all..."

Lucy continued to sit on his back in complete silence.

"L-Luce?"

"LUCY KICK!"

The tree did eventually get decorated, but Natsu did most of it while Lucy calmed down with some hot chocolate.
