Ginny sat at the Gryffindor table with Harry, she felt so uncomfortable and awkward. Harry was playing with her hair and she was laughing and smiling to keep him sweet, looking over his shoulders her eyes met black ones, he held his cutlery in a tight fist, Ginny wondered if they would actually snap.

She mouthed 'I'm sorry' to try and calm Severus down as it was obvious he was jealous. He seemed to calm down a little only for Harry to make the situation worse as he pushed his lips to Ginny's. She didn't kiss back but she also did not rush to pull away. When she finally broke away from the kiss she saw that Severus was gone, he'd obviously seen too much and she felt terrible.

Once dinner was over Ginny made her way to the boat house, something inside just told her that was where he'd be. She saw him looking out onto the water with his robes blowing in the breeze. "Sev?" She asked cautiously as she approached him from behind. He turned around and glared at her.

"I'm sorry for what you saw, I didn't enjoy it I promise!" She insisted, grabbing his large hands in hers. "I know, you did warn me." He said with a sigh, "and you warned me that you might get a bit jealous.." Ginny smiled, "how long do I have to wait? When will you end it? I'm going insane." Severus pressed with urgency. "I wanted to wait until after the quiddich finals, I didn't want to upset Harry before the game.." Ginny explained, Severus nodded sadly as he knew that the quiddich finals were weeks away. "I just don't think I can... wait anymore. I'm going to end it tonight. I can't keep away from you much longer Severus. Last night I couldn't sleep because all I could think about was you."

Severus pushed his lips to hers but she pushed him away as they briefly made contact. "Please, don't put me in this situation." Ginny pleaded desperately. "I will wait until you've dumped the dunderhead." Severus smirked. "That's mean Severus!" Ginny snapped, Severus felt shock run through his body. "What did you just say?" He asked as memories of Lily flooded his mind.
"I said that's mean, what you said about Harry. I might not want to be with him but I still care about him. Why?" Ginny asked, "you just reminded me of someone I once knew when you said that." Severus explained.

"Who?" Ginny inquired noisily, "A girl I once loved, or at least I thought I loved...Maybe one day I will speak of it, but not now." He stated very matter of factly. Ginny nodded and smiled up at him, causing his features to soften and a small Smile form on his face.

"Can I hold you?" Severus asked with worry, "of course, 'friends' can hug can they not?" She giggled and she fell into his strong arms. "This is all I have of you until tomorrow." "And what exactly are you going to have from me tomorrow Ginevra?" Severus chuckled with s filthy look in his black eyes.

"Not that!" Ginny blushed in embarrassment which only made Severus smirk, "it's ok, I'm not expecting 'that' to happen so soon... Although I can think of nothing else." "I want to, but the moment has to feel right." Ginny explained, "and that's fine, my love."He soothed, stroking her red hair and tucking some behind her ear.

"I could stay here with you all evening but I need to get back... I need to talk to Harry before he goes to bed." Ginny explained. "Just five minutes longer?" Severus requested jokingly, "I need to do this, I need to get it over with." "Please, do me one thing. Let me know when the deed is done and I can call you mine." "The deed is as good as done, and you can call me yours." Ginny reached up planting a gentle kiss on his cheek.
"I'm serious.... Ginevra." Severus groaned. "Ok, I promise." Ginny laughed and disappeared back to the castle.

She watched Harry from the doorway of the common room he was sat with Ron and Hermione talking about something intensely, it must have had something to do with the darkness that haunted Harry. 'How can I do this to him, now?' She thought to herself feeling guilty. She had promised Severus though and no matter how much she hurt Harry she could not break a promise she made to the man she adored so much.

She went and sat down beside Harry and Hermione could see something was about to go down, she was too clever not to pick up on the look in Ginny's eyes. Ron, on the other hand was oblivious as usual. "Ron, let's leave Harry and Ginny to it shall we?" Hermione suggested trying to peel Ron away from Harry for a moment. "Why 'Mione? My sister doesn't mind hanging out with us." "Just do as I say Ronald!" Hermione spat, grabbing Ron by the arm and dragging him away.

"Ginny, is everything ok you look upset?" Harry asked, "Harry I don't know how to say this...." "Say what?" "You know I care about you a lot don't you?" Ginny explained. "Why do I get a bad feeling about this Gin......?" "I just don't think it's working out." Ginny sighed, taking Harry's hand. "You're... Dumping me?" Harry asked in shock, "I don't want to call it that.." "Oh what? Well then what do you want to call it? Chucking me? Binning me? What do you want to call it Ginny? I mean, it's not like I have ever done anything to hurt you, and I treat you much better than Ron treats Hermione!" Harry snapped, Ginny had never seen him that angry before.

"Harry, it's not that I don't like you...." "Ohh! I get it, you just like someone else more." Harry scoffed, "please don't be so immature about this Harry!" "Is there someone else or not?" Harry seethed, becoming more and more annoyed. "Yes, Harry there is someone else, but nothing has happened. Not yet..." Ginny tried to explain. "Who? WHO?" "Harry....." "You know what, I don't actually want to know. I'm going to bed, enjoy your new boyfriend." Harry slammed the door behind him as he left.

Ginny left the common room in tears and headed straight to the dungeons, she banged on the door desperately until Severus opened the door and pulled her inside, he wrapped his arms around her. "What happened?" He asked, "Harry hates me...." "My love, he was hardly going to just thank you and give you a high five. He will calm down and he will move on.." "I know it's just... I... I hate hurting people!" "That's because you're a kind person Ginny. That's why I love you.." Severus soothed and swallowed hard as he realised what he had just said. "What did you say?" Ginny asked peeling herself from his chest to look at his face, "nothing...." He sighed, "No! I have just dumped a good guy to be with you, do not hold anything back from me Severus!" Ginny pleaded, Severus looked at the ground and looked somewhat stressed, and vulnerable.

"I love you Ginevra, I'm stupidly, ridiculously in love with you." "Why is that so hard to say?" Ginny asked, taking a step towards him and placing a hand in his face. "It's difficult for me because I promised myself for many years that I would never let myself fall in love again... Not that I'm sure it was love the first time but still..." He drawled on to himself. "Well it either was or it wasn't?" Ginny smiled, stroking his cheek. "It wasn't, only now I have you I can see that. It's come as quite the shock if I'm honest." "I love you too Severus..... and I'm yours now." Ginny whispered bringing her lips to his slowly.

Severus lost control of himself as the taste of her lips suffocated his senses, he kissed her passionately and explored her mouth with his tongue, Ginny groaned into the kiss and felt an outer body experience as her soul collapsed into his arms. She pulled him tighter to her body and pushed against his bulging package, his hands ran up her shirt and he stopped himself just before his hand reached her bra. "Ginevra..." He looked into her eyes desperately, it was as if he was begging for her body.

"Oh Severus... I want you." She moaned as he pushed up against her, "are you sure this is the right moment?" He asked whilst laying kisses on her neck, she moaned as he kissed her sweet spot. "This is the perfect moment... I want to show you that I'm yours and only yours.... " "are you still a....?" Severus asked gently as he allowed his hand to travel over her bra. She nodded and looked embarrassed, "it's ok..." He reassured her, picking her up and carrying her bridal style into his private chambers.......
