The Kiss✗

- Yoongi

As I sat in my office I heard the sound of the doorbell ring through the house.

I looked at the computer beside me and I was shocked to see y/n standing at the front door.

I quickly stood and rushed down to the front door, swinging it open.

"Y/n?" I asked, confused as to why she was back already when she had just left not even an hour ago.

Instead of speaking, y/n broke down in tears, sobbing loudly as she threw herself into my arms.

"What happened? Where is Jungkook?" I ask but that only made y/n cry harder.

I held her, my heart hurting at the sight of her tears.

I walked us inside, shutting the door and letting her cling to me as I stood there, trying my best to comfort her.

I was confused as to what had happened. I wondered if her and Jungkook had a fight although they were just okay.

I moved y/n back, revealing her tear stained face to me. "What happened? Why are you crying?" I ask, my voice soft.

"Jungkook, he..." But y/n's eyes filled with tears again, her words becoming choked.

"He what? Y/n, what happened?" I asked, concerned and worried.

Through y/n's sobs, I caught her words perfectly. My eyes widened once I pieced everything together.

"Sh, it's okay. It's gonna be okay." I say as I pull y/n back into my chest.

I was confused, my head foggy. I knew why Jungkook had acted out that way and I was displeased.

Jungkook had reverted back to his old ways, not giving a damn about the girls he fucked, instead pleasing himself.

It was how he use to take his stress and frustrations out. I just didn't understand why he would do that to y/n...

Jungkook would never do anything to hurt y/n or do anything to make her hate him and yet he did this...It didn't make any sense to me.

Y/n and I headed up to my room where I let her lay down and where soon she fell asleep.

Looking down at y/n's sleeping frame, I let out a breath.

I assumed Jungkook didn't know where she went so I texted him, letting him know she was here and that she was safe.

As I sent the text, my phone rang. The caller ID read; Kook.

I clicked answer as I placed my phone to my ear.

"Y/n is there? I'll come get her." Jungkook says, his voice slightly panicked.

"Don't. Just let her have time, Jungkook." I say as I look over at y/n who had finally stopped crying.

"I need to apologize again. I fucked up. I really fucked up, Yoongi." Jungkook says, his voice shaking.

"She knows. Just let her come back when she's ready. I just wanted you to know she was her and that she's safe." I say.

Jungkook is silent on the other line before he speaks again.

"Does she hate me?" Jungkook asks, his voice cracking. I could tell he had been crying too.

"She doesn't hate you, Jungkook. She's just shaken up and scared, just as she has every right to be." I say as I let out a breath.

"I'm such an idiot. Everything is my fault. I'm only hurting y/n, I have been since the very beginning. She deserves better." Jungkook says, clearly taken over by his emotions.

"Don't think crazily. Y/n still loves you, Jungkook. She won't stop loving you just because of this. She just needs some time." I say and Jungkook sighs on the other end.

"My heart hurts so bad." Jungkook says, his voice quiet. I look over at y/n who's face was still red from all of the crying.

"It's gonna be okay. She's just shaken up but she'll forgive you. I'm sure of it." I say and Jungkook mumbles a soft thank you into the phone.

"I'll call you tomorrow, okay? For now i'll watch over her, i'll keep her safe." I say.

"Thank you, Yoongi." Jungkook says. "Of course." I say before we hang up.

As I slip my phone back into my pocket I take one last glance over at y/n before leaving the room.

"Who's here? I heard a girl crying." Soo-hyun says, appearing from out of nowhere and scaring me half to death.

Once I compose myself, I answer her. "It was nothing. What do you need?" I ask.

Soo-hyun narrows her eyes as she looks back at my bedroom door.

"Do you have a girlfriend you're hiding in there?" She asks, her lips curving up into a grin.

"What? Of Course not." I say and she tilts her head to the side.

"Then who is the girl? I know what I heard." She says, clearly not letting it go.

"It really isn't any of your business, now is it? If you don't need anything, don't be a bother." I say, feeling frustrated with Soo-hyun's behavior earlier.

"How rude. You don't treat Rei that way, why me?" Soo-hyun asks and I take in the fake name of y/n's.

"Unless you like her..." Soo-hyun says, her lips curving upwards as she eyed me.

"What? Of course not. She's just a friend." I say, my eyebrows furrowing.

"Is she really? If that's the case, why is she in your room right now?" She asks, crossing her arms over her chest as her grins gets bigger.

I was taken back by everything Soo-hyun was saying. She was going haywire now.

Before I could reply, a voice sounds from the bottom of the stairs. "I'm heading out, Yoongi!" The voice belonged to Jimin.

"So you're trying to steal her from Jungkook, huh?" Soo-hyun asks.

"Jimin, come here." I say as Soo-hyun hounds me.

"Yes, sir?" Jimin asks, sprinting up the steps.

"I'm right, aren't I?" She asks, causing Jimin to look at her with a confused expression.

"You're not right. You have it all wrong."I say, knowing that if she got the wrong idea she would definitely tell Jungkook and that wouldn't end well for me.

"Do I?" She asked. I looked over at Jimin then back at Soo-hyun.

"Yeah, you're wrong. I don't want Rei. I have my eye on someone else." I say, my eyes hard on hers.

"Yeah, who?" Soo-hyun asks, looking at me. I look over at Jimin before gripping his arm, yanking him towards me.

Without warning, I press my lips to his. I heard Soo-hyun gasp as Jimin stiffened in my arms, taken back by my actions.

When I pulled away I saw Jimin's face turn bright red as he looked at me with wide eyes.

"Does that answer your question?" I say, mentally sighing.

Soo-hyun looked between Jimin and I before she stifled a laugh. "Very clearly." She says before hiking up her chin and heading in the other direction.

Once she was gone, I turned to Jimin, ready to apologize, but he was already halfway down the stairs.

"Jimin!" I called but he ran right out the front door, leaving me to reflect on what the hell I just did.

That being, I kissed Jimin.

...

Y/n"

When I woke up the next morning I noticed I was in Yoongi's room still and he was no where to be seen.

I yawned as I sat up, brushing my hair out with my fingers.

Everything from yesterday came back to me and I let out a sigh.

When I left Jungkook he was not in a good place. My heart was telling me to go to him but the thought of yesterday told me to stay here.

Yawning, I stood up and made my way towards the door. When I opened the door I noticed the house was silent.

As I headed downstairs I went towards the kitchen where I saw Yoongi sitting at the table, Soo-hyun on the other opposite end.

"Good morning." I say, causing both of them to look over at me. "Good morning, Rei." Soo-hyun says, making a face at Yoongi that I didn't understand.

"Morning." I mumble as I walk over to Yoongi's side and sit down.

"How are you feeling?" Yoongi asked, his voice low. "I'm okay. I know I need to go home today." I say.

Yoongi smiles slightly and nods.

"Rei, did you hear the news?" Soo-hyun starts, causing both Yoongi and I to look over at her.

"Huh?" I ask, confused. She grins as she looks over at Yoongi. I had defiantly missed something...

My jaw fell at the words that came out of her mouth next.

"Yoongi has a thing for Jimin. They kissed."
