A Deal With The Devil✗

No one could speak in that moment. There was nothing that could be said to fix this now.

"Jungkook..." I start, my heart racing in my chest. Jungkook quickly pushes me behind him, shielding my body.

"So what now, what will you do with this information?" Jungkook asks, his voice calm even though I knew on the inside it was the complete opposite.

Soo-hyun looked around at everyone before looking at Jungkook.

"I'm not sure. Maybe I'll tell my father, Maybe not. I haven't decided." Soo-hyun says, grinning.

"Do that and you're dead. I'll kill you myself, that's a promise." Jungkook says, his words serious.

This man standing in front of me was the Jungkook I had met on the first day of joining the mafia, not the Jungkook I had met along the way.

"It's interesting, huh? You all really thought you could hide this then you suddenly blurt it out like it wasnt a secret this whole time." Soo-hyun says, her arms crossed over her chest.

"Fine, do what you please." I say, stepping out from behind Jungkook.

"Y/n what are you-" but I speak again.

"Tell whoever you want. I don't care what happens, I know how to protect myself." i say, knowing that all of the training I had endured would come in handy once again.

Jungkook stared at me with wide eyes as well as everyone else.

"Like you said," I start, turning towards Jungkook. "Its kill or be killed, baby."

Jungkook looked stumped as he stared at me, his eyes clouded with many emotions.

"You really believe you'll be able to save yourself if someone comes after you?" Soo-hyun asked, making her way down the stairs.

As she got to me, Jungkook quickly joined my side, ready to protect me at all costs.

I cock my head to the side, a grin surfacing on my lips. "I do. I'll do whatever it takes to live. I lived another life, that means the world isn't quite ready to have me go." I say.

Soo-hyun looks at me, her lips curving upwards.

"I guess you really are y/n. I had heard a lot about you and now that I know for sure, I can definitely understand why people said you were the way you were." She says.

I never once averted my eyes from hers.

"What is your plan now? Just know we won't let you say anything without there being consequences. Y/n is our family, we will protect her no matter what." Yoongi says, his voice serious as all the guys agreed.

Soo-hyun looked over before smiling. "I don't doubt you would kill me on the spot if I said anything about your precious y/n."

"Damn straight." Jungkook said instantly.

"So, I have a deal to propose." She starts, grinning as she took a step towards Jungkook.

"What would that be?" Jungkook asks, standing strong with his scary exterior.

"Re join the mafia. You and y/n come back and fight like you were supposed to. If you do that, I won't speak of this to anyone." Soo-hyun says and I see Jungkook stiffen.

I knew that was the one thing he didn't want and yet that was what she was asking of him.

I swallowed the lump in my throat as I took a step forward. "Okay."

"Y/n..." Jungkook says, looking down me with sad eyes, clouded with pain from our past.

"It's okay, Jungkook. It'll be okay." I say as I rest my hand on his arm gently.

The guys around us stayed silent in shock and worry.

"Okay, then let's seal the deal." Soo-hyun says as she looks over at Jungkook.

Jungkook's eyebrows raised as he looked at her. "They don't call me a demon for nothing." She says, grinning.

I instantly knew what she meant. "Is that really nessassary?" I ask, feeling annoyed.

"That or I tell." She says, her lips curved upwards.

I look over at Jungkook and sigh. "Go ahead.'' I say but Jungkook makes a face of disgust.

"No way. I'm not kissing her." He says, his lips in a frown.

I look up at Jungkook and let out a breath. "Please, just get over with. I don't want this to drag on." I say, turning my head so I didn't have to see it.

I heard Jungkook let out a breath as he took a step forward. Although I couldn't see, I knew exactly when they kissed by the noises she made.

It was more making out then kissing but as mad as I was, I didn't stop it.

"Gross." I hear Jungkook mumble and I look over to see him rubbing his lips viciously.

"Happy now?" I ask, arms crossed over my chest, not caring about showing my jealously.

"Very. He's a great kisser." Soo-hyun grins and I make a face as I join Jungkook's side and pull him into me.

"I'm well aware." I say and she makes a face as she turns on her heels.

"Finalize them re joinig. Once you do, your secret is safe with me." Soo-hyun says as she sits down on the couch and flips the tv on.

Jungkook looks down at me, his eyes full of emotions. Looking around, all of the guys had sad expressions on their face.

In the end, we could never escape the mafia.

...

Later that day Jungkook and I sat in Yoongi's office, getting everything together.

"I can't believe this." Jungkook says, his voice tired and upset.

"I'll make sure you two don't have to go out and fight with us. I'll keep y/n safe at all costs, I swear it." Yoongi says, his words serious.

"I won't stay behind while Jungkook goes out to fight. Don't even try to make me because it won't work." I say and when Jungkook tries to object I speak again.

"If I have to be protected then so do you." I say, my words just as serious as theirs were.

Jungkook sighed, knowing he wouldn't be able to beat my stubborn ways.

Yoongi pressed his lips together before sliding over a piece of paper.

"Sign these." He says and I take the paper, picking up the pen.

Just as I go to write, Jungkook grabs onto my wrist, stopping my actions.

I look over at him and give him a small smile. "Don't worry. No matter what happens, I'm not going anywhere." I say and Jungkook slowly releases my hand.

I look down at the line and take a deep breath. Without speaking, I sign my name.

As I do so, I can feel their eyes on me. Once my name is fully there and I drop the pen, I hear Jungkook let out a sigh.

Looking over, I see that his name is already written.

"Welcome to the Min mafia." Yoongi says, his words dull as he continued to frown.

I let out a breath as I leaned my head against Jungkook's shoulder.

"It's all going to be okay." I say and Jungkook looks down at me, more importantly the ring he had put on my finger.

"I hope so..." He says, his voice almost inaudible.

I looked up at Yoongi who looked just as upset as we felt.

"Also," Jungkook starts, catching both mine and Yoongi's attention.

"Hmm?" I ask.

"Kiss Yoongi."Jungkook says, taking me by surprise.

"Why? Why would I do that?" I ask as Yoongi looked at Jungkook with wide eyes.

"I had to kiss Soo-hyun and I can't shake this guilty feeling in my chest so kiss Yoongi. Make it even." Jungkook says but I shake my head.

"I'm not going to kiss Yoongi. You had to do what you had to do. There's no need to make this even." I say but Jungkook just isn't having it.

"Please, just do it." Jungkook says. I look over at Yoongi who seems taken back by Jungkook's request.

"I really don't think thats necessary, Jungkook." Yoongi says as he makes a face of concern.

"Just kiss her, Yoongi." Jungkook says, his voice raising slightly.

I looked at Yoongi who then looked at me.

"Are you sure about this, Jungkook? You're not going to punch me for it later, are you?" Yoongi asked.

Jungkook waved his hand as he turned his head away.

I watched Yoongi walk over to me, motioning me to stand.

I pressed my lips together as I stood, coming face to face with Yoongi.

"Ready?" Yoongi asked, seeming a bit nervous and flustered.

I shrugged, knowing Jungkook wouldn't let it go.

Yoongi nodded as he grabbed my shoulders, guiding me closer. He then took my face in his hands.

When Yoongi leaned forward, his lips met mine.

It definitely felt wrong to kiss someone who wasn't Jungkook but it felt even more wrong knowing he was in the same room as it happened.

When Yoongi pulled back I saw his cheeks flush as he moved back.

"Uh, okay." Yoongi says and Jungkook looks over at us and looks at me.

Leaning his head in the palm of his hand, Jungkook huffed.

"God I hate this house."
