Natsu POV
I went into the inn and everyone was waiting for me in the lobby.
"Where have you been ya Pyro?!" Gray spat in my face.

"I've been talking to a man who could possibly take me to Lucy. I've been doing something productive whats your excuse frosty?!" I yelled. We exchanged insults until Erza and Mira bashed our heads together.

"ENOUGH! Now Natsu, you said you found a man who could lead us to Lucy?" Erza asked. I told them about Kylo and how he could take us to an underground cave. "I would like to meet this man. Alone please." I leaded Erza to him and they talked for a while.
Laxus POV
After Erza and Natsu left, I saw Mira walk out the back door. She doesn't usually leave the group unless she's worried about something. I decided to follow her. When I found her, she was crying on a field of grass underneath the stars.
"O-Oh. L-Laxus. I didn't s-see you there." She said inbetween sobs.

"Mira whats wrong?" I asked.

"It's nothing Laxus. Look at the stars tonight." Mira said trying to distract herself.

"Don't change the subject Mira. You crying by yourself doesn't sound like nothing. Tell me." I said sitting down with her

"It's just, why does everyone I love get taken away. I lost Lisanna, now Lucy's gone. Can I never be happy? Am I doomed to lose everyone I care about?" She asked looking at me with her crystal blue eyes.

"I wont leave you Mira. Ever." I said brushing her hair behind her ear. Before I knew what was happening Mira threw herself on me and embraced me in a hug. I wrapped my arms around her, comforting her.

"Thank you Laxus." she said. When we broke the hug, I felt a blush creeping on my face. Am I falling in love with Mira? I thought to my self. I got an answer when she slammed her lips on mine. I knew I was in love when I started to kiss back. Me and Mira were both blushing furiously when it broke.

"Uh, w-we should probably get back inside." I said scratching my neck.

"Yea" we walked back in and Erza was talking to a man in maybe his early 50's.

"I'm very sorry to hear that. Thank you very much for helping us" Erza said.

"It's no problem. I wish to help you find your fianće young man." He said.
Lucy POV
I was having a dream. No, a nightmare. It was me in the future, but Natsu wasn't by my side. I've never been happier to wake up. Except for when I was dead for a year. But I woke up to Natsu's face. This time, I woke to a cold hard floor.

"Good morning sunshine" a voice said colder than the floor I was laying on.

"Don't call me that." I spat. Clear venom in my voice.

"Now, don't be so mean to me. After all," he then shapeshifted into Natsu,"I love you". He said in Natsu's voice. His voice was identical to Natsu's, but it didn't have the same warmth to it.

"Stop it. Don't use his voice. Anyone else but him." I pleaded.

"Very well" Then he shapshifted into my father.

"D-Daddy" I croaked. His eyes looked at me with regret and distain.

"Had enough?" He said not taking my dads voice. "If you stay with me, You'll be treated with nothing but care. Just say the word and I break the chains holding you down."

"Alright. I give" I said. Just like that, the magic seals around my wrist dissapeared. When I got up, I kicked him where the sun don't shine. While he was distracted, I made my attack. "WATER LOCK!" He was encased in water.

"That should keep you distracted for now" I giggled and made a run for it. About 5 seconds later I realized. I haven't eaten anything in two days. I saw a nearby cave and figured that was as good as it was gonna get for now. I walked into the cave and saw a light not too far away. I did what any normal person would do, and walked toward it. However, what I saw nearly made me crawl out of my skin. A huge red dragon with a scar right over it's eye. If I could move I probably would have ran all the way across the planet. When it saw me, instead of attacking, It spoke to me.

"Who are you? How did you get here?" He said. He was strangely docile.

"M-My n-name is L-Luc-cy Heartfillia." I stutterd. Who wouldn't infront of

"Do you, by any chance know Natsu Dragneel?" He said with a voice low as bedrock. Thats when it hit me. I was talking to Igneel. Natsu's supposedly dead father.

"Yes as a matter of fact I do. He's actually my fianće. I know exactly who you are. You are Igneel. Natsu's father." I said. My voice booking with confedence all of the sudden.

"You look like you haven't eaten in days." He said.

"Probably because I haven't" The sound of my stomach could probably shame his roar.

"Come. Let me help you" Igneel gave me food, new clothes, and shelter until I was ready to venture back out on my own. Now I see why Natsu loved him so much.

"So you and Natsu are engaged?" He asked. I blushed and smiled. "You're very lucky. All my years I've never seen any friend of Natsu's he wasn't willing to risk his life for."

"Yea. I know he's looking for me. He has the biggest heart out of anyone I've ever met." I said.

"Are you ready to go back out?" He asked.

"Not to sound to invasive, but I'm still a little shaken up from being there. If it's okay, I would maybe like to stay here for the night. I've gone through things that some people wouldn't dream about." I shivered remembering all the times he whipped me. Abused me. I now have a scar on my left eye.

"I understand. You're welcome to stay here as long as you need." He said with a warming smile. All I could muster out were those two most under-used words.

"Thank you"
