over the past week i had to go on live tv, issue statements about what happened and what i'll be doing to ensure auradon's safety. it's been a stressful week to say the least, and on top of that, i've been having nightmares. they're all about what happened between evie and i. i know now that she did was because of audrey, but that didn't take away the fact that everything she said came from her mouth. no matter how many times i told myself, that wasn't evie it was audrey, evie kept showing up in my nightmares. just thinking about them made my heart hurt. i haven't spoken to her since the night of audrey's attack, i'm scared that there might've been some truth behind her words.

fairy godmother and i had come to an agreement on punishments for the girls. since i wasn't going to actually close down the barrier for good, we couldn't ship them off to the isle to live there like the villains they were. instead, jane would be stripped of any magical abilities she has, something i didn't know was possible. they would both have to do over a million hours of community service. i know what you're thinking, that's not possible they'll grow old before they could finish that. well that's what we're going for. since crime isn't a big thing here in auradon, we didn't have jails really. we are working on building one though, i thought we should create a whole new island for it. farther from auradon and the isle, but still accessible.

i was finishing off some paper work before i had to head over to the engagement party my parents were hosting for carlos and ben. i was all dressed up and ready to go but ugh paper work. right as i signed the last paper on my desk, there was a knock on my door.

"come in." i said putting away my pen as i finished signing my name.

"hey bella." i knew that voice, it was evie. i slowly looked up to look at her, she was in a beautiful navy blue dress with a cute tiara on her head. she was beautiful. her skin was radiant, blue will always be her color. "evie..." i stood up from my desk, i gripped on to the back of my chair, scared that i would fall down and have to relive my worst nightmare again.

"it's been a while since we've spoken. well a week to be exact, that's the longest we've gone without talking." evie didn't move where she was standing in the doorway. "yeah, i've just been busy." that was true but not the real reason i've been avoiding evie. i knew that, and she knew that too.

"yeah, but it's more than that isn't it? bella, i just want you to answer this for me, do... do you still love me?" evie asked. her eyes were red, likes she's been crying for days. how can i tell? mine look exactly the same. how could she even think i didn't love her anymore? i tried to find the right words to say but i couldn't think of anything.

"i guess i got my answer, thank you." evie went to walk away but i stopped her. i let go of my chair and ran to grab her. i pulled her back inside my office and closed the door. no matter how scary my nightmares were, i wasn't going to lose evie. not more not ever.

"evie, of course i still love you. i've been trying so hard to tell you that i love you but i could never find the right moment. and when i did tell you, well you know what happened..."

"bella, that wasn't me. i would never want to hurt you. i love you, i really do. you've been so distant lately and i... well i thought we were done. and all that time apart, even though it wasn't a lot, really hurt." evie wiped away one of my tears. fuck we were crying.

"i'm sorry i was so distant, i was just scared. i mean, i've been having nightmares every night this week. i just can't seem to forget what happened, i know it wasn't you but i just can't get it out of my head."

"i love you so much, so so much. bella i'm ready to be with you for the rest of my life. heck, i'm ready to marry you on the spot." i looked at evie and smiled even though tears kept coming out. "is that your way of proposing?" i joked. she looked at me and wiped away her own tears.

"yes, yes this is me proposing to you!" evie took off one of her own rings and got down on one knee, holy fuck oh my god. wait is she serious? she's joking right? no she's serious. oh my god oh my god.  just like that i felt back to normal.

"bella paige florian, will you make be the happiest girl in the world and be my wife?" she asked taking my hand. i stared at her with my mouth wide open. i suddenly lost the ability to talk so all i could do was nod yes. i frantically nodded yes and that was all evie needed to put a ring on my finger.

"i promise i'll redo this with an actual ring and in front of people, with a song and everything!" evie said as she got back up. all that didn't matter though, it sounded nice but didn't matter. i quickly kissed her as if this were a dream and i was about to wake up.

it was like everything that happened a week ago disappeared, all i could think about now was that evie was going to actually be my wife one day. one day, not soon because we're still young and fresh out of high school.

but then again, if we really loved each other then getting married soon wouldn't matter right? ah i don't know i'm just excited and nervous.

evie and i stood in the middle of my office as we hugged. it was a long hug, to make up for the time we were apart ya know. i moved my head and placed a kiss on evie's cheek, which then led to me leaving kisses up and down her jaw. this then led to me leaving kisses on her neck, red lips were on her neck as i had stained it but oh who cares, i just wanted to kiss evie as much as possible.

"bella... bella that tickles." evie squirmed as i kept kissing her but i didn't stop. "bella!" evie moaned out my name as sucked on her sweet spot. "bella what if someone heard me?" evie asked as she put her hands on my chest to scoot me away. "don't worry, no ones here and the walls are thick. no one can hear us." i reassured her before i went back to kissing her.

i walked her over to desk, not breaking the kiss once. when we pulled away to catch our breaths, she moved my stuff over and sat down on my desk. "let me just get comfortable." she said before pulling me closer. i stood between her legs as i wrapped my arms around her neck, her legs wrapping around my waist.

let's just say we have some fun before heading out to the party.

(i was gonna write a quick little scene but i chickened out cause i don't know how to write those scenes. sorry :( )
