"what about peacock feathers? yeah, i bet you nobody's gonna have those at cotillion." i rolled my eyes as chad spoke to evie about the cape he was going to wear. why does he even need a cape, it's a dance not a costume party.
"chad, when i look at you, all i can think of is...king." evie told chad, woah babe way to add more fuel to his ego. "and fake fur... fake fur says it all." yes because in this house we do not stan real fur.
"loud and clear." said doug turning around in his chair. i chuckled a bit as i went back to my sketchbook. i was trying out some designs that evie might like, making clothes is so much fun but so hard when you need to make sure you're not copying someone else's designs. i mean every design has been done already, not all of us are super creative.
"amphitheater in five!" said a voice from the door. it was jay, the captain of almost every sport related thing here at auradon prep.
"why did coach make him captain instead of me? i'm obviously better. 'king chad' though, i do rather like that. you know who else would like that?" oh no, here he goes again. "who?" evie asked although we already knew the answer. "audrey." i doubt audrey even liked chad, just used him to get back at ben. "she would."
"chad, let's go." jay reminded chad. "yeah chad, don't you see jay's in a hurry to get more muscular. better go before he takes it all." i teased both jay and chad. "you're just jealous because you can't have all this." jay said to me as he flexed on us. "right because i want to look like i could bench press everyone in the kingdom." jay laughed as chad got his stuff for practice. "see ya!" jay said to us before he left.
evie tossed chad's cape on the little sofa thing she had where people stood to get fitted.
"not a lot of there there." she and doug joked. "someone's obviously having some trouble dealing with his break-up with audrey." poor guy, it's been six months and he's still sad about it. i mean audrey was pretty but her attitude made her ugly. it's not always about the looks.
"i've been doing the numbers, and after we collect from all the girls for their gowns and chad's cape..." evie looked at doug's laptop and gasped at the numbers. "wow! no wonder people work. what am i going to do with all this money?" she leaned against me as she looked in aw at the screen. i'm proud of her, she's a successful business woman and one day i bet she'll have the biggest fashion company around.
"i think in the next few years, you could buy that castle you've always wanted. that way you wouldn't need a prince." he stared at evie with a look that read "i love you" boy if you don't back off... "right." she smiled at him.
i couldn't help it but i let out a cough which snapped doug out of his state of staring at my girlfriend. "i should get going." doug said standing up. "right yeah, i still need to work on my dress and all." evie helped doug pack up his stuff quickly. "well i'll see you guys, bye." doug said before exiting the room. i turned around in my chair to see evie close the door and turn to look at me.
"you did that to get rid of him didn't you?" she asked. "what, cough? no way, he's my friend why would i want him to leave?" evie laughed and came over to me. "are you jealous of doug? oh sweetie don't be, my heart only beats for you." she kissed my forehead and stood between my legs. i loved us in this position.
"how about i finish up here and we head to your room, watch some tv and cuddle." she suggested and kissed me. "of course, we don't want to make mal feel weird by being all cute in front of her." i joked but i was also being serious. mal would always walk in on us on evie's bed and she would find an excuse to leave even though we told her to stay and we'd leave. i mean it is her room too and she doesn't need to leave every time i'm here.
we finished cleaning up evie's station and headed off to my dorm. hopefully we could do more than just cuddle, i don't mean do anything extreme but maybe like make out? only if evie's up for it, i would never make her do anything she didn't want to do. i'm only asking because we've never really made out. i mean i've never done that with a girl so i'm scared to make the first move, but evie hasn't made the first move either. i guess i'll try to make a move. but what if i'm bad? see why didn't i experiment when i was like fourteen.

update, it worked and now i'm searching up how to hide a hickey.
(i suck at writing intimate scenes so give me time before i start writing them)
