Reader Chan's pov

(So i decided to ship reader chan with Levy. Enjoy!))

I slowly sat up and while groaning. The pain in my stomach was severe. I gasped when i remembered the fight, "Alex!" I said as i got up. I yelped in pain as i stood. I looked around the room, i was in an infirmary of sorts. I noticed my sister lying in bed, a pair of blue haired girls beside her.

"She should wake up soon, according to Natsu and Gray, the poor girl was targeted by those boys..." the shorter of the two says.

"Juvia agrees. Juvia wants to help in any way she can... but she's worried. Juvia remembers Alex and (y/n) were very powerful mages. If someone managed to hurt them then they were very powerful mages..." the taller said.

"Juvia? Is that you?" I ask as i slowly walk over.

The girl turned around, "(y/n)! You should not be up!" Juvia says as she walks over and helps me back to bed.

The shorter girl walks over, "you need to rest, your wounds were very serious, lucky uou the others got you both here in time." She said. "I'm Levy by the way," she says.

"It's a pleasure, where are we?" I ask.

"Fairy Tail's infirmary," Juvia said.

"Fairy tail? Since when are you a member of Fairy tail, Juvia?" I ask.

"Juvia has been in Fairy Tail for a few years now." (This is after the Magic Games)

I nod as i look at my sister,"is she ok?"

"Yes, Wendy is an excellent healer," Juvia says.

I nod and lie down.

A few men walk into the room. One with wild black hair, one with blonde hair, and a familiar pink haired man.

Natsu walks over, "how ya doing? You looked pretty beaten up."

"I'm ok, just a little out of it. Thank you for your help."

"No problem, oh! This is Gajeel and Laxus."

The black haired man smirks, "i know this guy all too well, a water dragon slayer," Gajeel said as he walked over.

"Nice to see you again as well Gajeel," i say with a smirk.

Laxus just shrugged and leaned on the wall, "so your sister, what the hell did those people want with her so bad?"

"Alex uses a type of magic that can be used in anyway. Her voice holds the ability to rebuild, destroy, or create anything," Gajeel answers.

"Something like that yeah," i say.

Laxus nods, "i see,"

Juvia looks at Gajeel, "Juvia thinks we should leave them to rest."

Gajeel nods, "i agree with her."

Natsu sighs, "fine, I'll see if i can get Mira to get you some food k?"

I nod, "thank you."

They all left except for Levy, "i hope you get better soon," she said shyly.

I smile softly, "thank you Levy," i say.

She smiles and leaves.

"She's kinda cute," i thought as i look at the ceiling.

The next couple of days were worrisome... Alex had not woken up yet. I had not yet fully healed so i wasn't allowed to leave the infirmary, not that i cared. I sat close to my baby sisters bed as she slept. Her face contorted as if she were scared. I hummed softly and stroked her hair. She visibly relaxed and i continued to hum.

Gajeel walked in and sat beside me, "i know you're worried for her, but you need rest as well."

I sigh, "i know, i know, but i can't bring myself to leave her... what if she wakes up? Or what if she has a nightmare?" I ask.

"I'll stay here, if anything happens then I'll wake you," he says.

I sigh softly, "alright. I'll try to sleep. But you better hold up your end of the bargain."

He nods and i head to bed. I fall asleep shortly after.

(Dream in italics)

I was in a field... an empty field of grass...

"Where am i?" I ask as i stand. I walk for what seems like an eternity.

I stop where the grass becomes rocks. I look ahead and see two dirt paths.

"The left will lead you to what you most desire, the right will take you to what you need most. But you cannot have both. To have one is to lose the other. Choose wisely.... (y/n)" a strange female voice said.

I looked at the paths. 'How does one choose over want and need?' I think as i look down both.

On the left path i see two female figures. I recognize one as my sister. The other is hard to tell.

The right path holds a pair of male figures. I don't recognize.

I take a deep breath and head to the left, praying for the best.

I jolt awake and look around, it was dark in the infirmary... still rather late.

Gajeel stood over me, "she woke up," he said as he motioned to Alex's bed.

I jump up and head to her bedside. "Little sister?" I asked softly.

Her eyes stared blankly at the roof, she wasn't responding... her eyes had a dull, faded, glassy look... like a fogged up mirror. If not for the rise and fall of her chest, i would have thought her dead.

Slowly her head turned to me, she gave a soft smile. "Hi big brother," she said softly, her voice hoarse.

Tears streamed down my face outb of joy and sadness. I could tell from the unfocused look on her face and the faded look of her eyes that she could no longer see.

Her hand traveled up a bit. I gently grabbed her hand and pressed it to my cheek as i cried.

"Don't cry for me big brother, please? I want to know you are happy!" she said in a childlike manor.

I smiled softly and kissed her forehead, "i am happy, happy you are alive. That's all that matters," i say as i hold her hand.

She smiled softly and closed her eyes.

Gajeel placed a hand on my shoulder as i set her hand on the bed. "She's very strong, the blindness may only be temporary," he says.

I nodded, "thank you, for everything," i say.

He nods, "get some sleep old friend, you need rest," he says.

I nod and curl back up on my cot. I fall into a dreamed sleep.
