Lucy POV
It's been hours and I haven't been near Natsu, I start to grow impatient and pace, I hear a knock at my door and I rush over and fling it open, I see Erza looking sad
"What is it Erza!" I growl unhappy to see her
"You need to come, Natsu needs you" she says and that caught my attention, I rush out and find everyone rushing around, I run over to a crowd of people and see its Wendy, she's got bad cuts and is sweating like crazy, I feel bad for her but I need to see my Natsu, I look at the Table next to her and see a flick of pink hair, I rush over pushing everyone out of the way. And what I see if horrifying, Natsu has red glowing scales all over him, he has bad cuts and is sweating, I sit on the table and put his head in my lap, I brush his bangs out of his eyes,
"How is she able to touch him!?" Lissana shouts, I don't take me eye off Natsu
"Because she is his mate Lissanna" Master says, she glares at me,
"How come we couldn't help him?" Someone from the crowd asks
"Since Natsu has chosen a Mate no one will be able to touch him except Lucy, she is the only one who can get close to him, the rest of us will experience severe burns" Master says
"How do you know this master?" Erza asks
"The book Levy and Lucy gave me explained it all, here I'll read it to you" master grabs the book and clears his throat. I try and get Natsu to swallow some water but he can't.
" during dragons Mateing Season, Dragons and Dragons slayer are compelled to find a Mate, the only difference between the dragon and the slayer is that the slayer go through 4 stages before they choose there mate, those stages are
1) possessiveness
2)pain and constant sleeping
3) transformation
4)marking
And during the transformation the slayer will become very ill, so don't remove them from their mate or in a matter of hours will die. The pain and constant sleeping are nothing compared to the illness they suffer.
They will experience intense pain, sweating, not wanting to eat or drink anything. The scales along there body are normal, this is where the intense pain comes in, the more scales the more pain. Aperantly the scales are made out of small bits of the slayers bones, so don't move them too much, but the bone bits grow back over time. All you have to do, reader is keep the Dragon and his mate close, DO NOT, separate them whatsoever, if you care for the slayer". Master closes the book, everyone is silent, by now Mira, Levy and Romeo are all by their slayers,
"How long with the Mating Season last master?" Charle asks
"About a month, so we have a lot of work to do" Master says,
"What do we do about them not eating or drinking?" Gray asks, who of course is half naked
"The books says that the mates can try to get them to eat, but its very hard" Master sighs.
"But for now we all must leave, we will hold a temporary Guild at Fairy hills, I will need help setting up a request board and everything, so I want Gray and Erza and all the exceeds to stay here, the rest of us will go and get set up" master says, Happy comes and sits in my head
"Lucy, is Natsu gonna be alright?"
"Yes happy, he's gonna be fine" I say, Happy nods and goes and sits by Charla and Wendy, Romoe Is sitting next to Wendy. I see Natsu cringe every odd moment, I lean down by his ear
"Hey I am here now, there's no need to worry, I won't leave again" I say, it seems to relax him enough to sleep, I place a kiss on his forehead.
"Lucy are you hungry or something?" Gray asks I shake my head, I hear the door open, I look up to see Lissanna
"Master said i could help here" she says walking in the door with a nasty look on her face, I growl at her.
"Listen Missy I didn't come here to help you I came to help Natsu" she growls at me, she takes a step closer to him, I let out a deeper growl, I feel my hands grow hot, she gets a scared look in her eye and backs off,
"My Natsu" was all I could say, she glares at me and walks off, I smirk.

Later that day
It's about 9 o'clock and I am still in the same position as I was a few hours ago, I gently move Natsu head so I can stretch my legs, I go to the bathroom and freshen up, then I go back by Natsu. He hasent changed sickness wise, but his appearance has, he has red glowing scales in patches all over his skin, and I've noticed his teeth have grown a little too, and I was rubbing his back earlier and I felt two strange bumps. I walk around and see Levy, holding Gajeels hand,
"Hey levy" I say
"Hey Lucy" she says her voice has little emotion, I go sit back by Natsu and out his head in my lap again, I try and get him go swallow some water, but he only get a little down.
"Hey, come on Natsu you gotta eat and drink, you've got to" I beg him, I try again with better results, but its still not enough.
"How's he doing?" Lissanna asks, she tries to hold his hand but, its as if a magical force feild of fire stops her and brings her hand, she lets out a yelp and yanks her hand back, the tips of her fingers are red, she glares at me as if I did something, I growl at her.
"I told you he is mine" I growl at her, she glares and leaves, gray walks over
"You two don't see to get along well" he jokes, I nod
"Do you want a sandwich or something?"he asks, I shake my head,
" I am not hungry, thanks Gray " I say giving him a side smile, he nods and goes back to checking on everyone else. Erza whatches us by day, Gray by night.

Ok so you guys may have noticed that I am not doing the other pov, and that is because its really really hard, I'll do them on occasion but its just easier to do NaLu, and plus there may be a sequel to this story, but it would be NALU, let me know if you guys would like a sequel, thanks you guys are awesome.
