Present Time...

I was chatting and laughing with my colleagues as we walked towards the door of the boarding gate. My grasp was on my luggage and my bestfriend, Sheila Rain Perez, winked at me when I passed by her at the Boarding counter. She was with Yosef Parker, a fellow crew, as they will be assisting the passengers of ZGY777 later.

"We will be boarding the flight in an hour. Are you guys ready?" Pilot Rainier Aquino asked us as we walked our way towards the plane.

Rainier is one of our Senior Co-Pilots and one of the gorgeous guys I have seen. Totoo nga ang sabi nila na kung maghahanap ka ng gwapo, sa airport ka makakakita non.

All the airport crews and flight attendants indeed are beautiful people. Their towering heights and angelic faces bring them to places. I was lucky to pass the qualifying exam four years back and finally, I get to reach one of my dreams.

"Ano ka ba! Mga sanay na 'yang mga 'yan! Halos mag-iisang taon na silang nagtatrabaho no!" His co-pilot, Jeremy Trent laughed at his remark.

Us three, Zenaida Lincoln and Lourdes Evanders, shared a knowing look at each other then at Samantha Dominguez. Samantha blushed and shook her head in response.

It was a known fact that Rainier has been vocal in expressing his love and devotion to her in our group. And Samantha is not denying that.

What we just don't know is the real score between them. Oh well, that's their life.

Once we reached the plane, we all scampered to our areas and place our things there. I am stationed today at the middle row while the three girls are at the different areas inside the plane.

In about ten minutes, boarding gates will be opened and about 200 passengers will be coming in. I pulled out my compact mirror from my secret pocket inside my skirt to check on my face.

"Maganda ka na, besh!" Zenaida exclaimed from the back and I winked at her.

"Love you, beshie!" I answered back and showed her a finger heart which she laughed at.

In a few seconds, we were all greeting everyone and assisting them with their baggages to be placed in the overhead cabins. As people flocked on the runway, we silently went to our positions and wait until all are fully seated. I even saw Lourdes talking over the intercom probably asking if all have went in here.

Soon, we finished the demonstration and the voice of Rainier had dominated the plane telling everyone to fasten their seatbelts as we all prepare for take-off.

Before we prepare for takeoff, we were in charge of making sure that passengers have properly fastened their seatbelts and the overhead cabins are locked to prevent luggages and bags from falling onto them.

Once finished in our assigned sections, we, flight attendants, went to our seats immediately while we look around to see if the passengers are following the instructions. We don't want an injured one in every takeoff.

I was facing the passengers seated at the wing section of the plane when someone stood up as the wheels of the plane skidded.

"Please go to your seat, Sir!" I called out but it looked like he has not heard me.

It was Zenaida's turn to holler at him as she had saw him too. He was probably about to go the restroom but the plane still continue to takeoff.

"Sir na nakasuot ng asul na damit at nakatayo ngayon, umupo ho muna kayo! Mamaya na ho kayo pumunta ng restroom kapag nakatake-off na!" Zenaida yelled as she can't be heard from the noise made by the wheels skidding as we descended to the air.

Buti na lang at narinig siya ng lalaki at bumalik sa upuan muna niya. At buti na lang at hindi pa sya masyadong nakakalayo sa upuan nya.

After about a couple of minutes, Rainier announced over the speakers about our official descent.

"Good morning, passengers. This is your captain speaking. First, I'd like to welcome everyone on Cloud  Airline Flight ZGY777. We are currently cruising at an altitude of 33,000 feet at an airspeed of 450  miles per hour. The time is 7:00 am. The weather looks good and with the tailwind on our side we are expecting to land in Japan approximately fifteen minutes ahead of schedule. The weather in Japan is clear and sunny, with a high of 25 degrees for this morning. If the weather cooperates we should get a great view of the city as we descend. The cabin crew will be coming around in about twenty minutes time to offer you a light snack and beverage, and the inflight movie will begin shortly after that. I'll talk to you again before we reach our destination. Until then, sit back, relax and enjoy the rest of the flight."

Me and Zenaida unfastened our seatbelts and roamed our eyes for a second before we headed to the pantry where the foodcarts are. People who also were in need to relieve themselves began to fall in line at the restroom nearest them.

"I got this!" Lourdes said as she placed the pitcher of orange juice on top of the cart and I helped her put on the packed meals of fish fillet, chicken and meat on the lower part of the cart.

This has been our routine since then. I am on my second year as a flight attendant and thankfully, I have adjusted well and have gotten along with my colleagues.

After a long flight of serving and aiding the passengers, we have finally landed in Japan. We are now bidding our goodbyes to them.

"Thank you and have a nice day!" We said and gave our best smile to them. Most would respond with a smile while others passed by without even a glance.

"Hello! May I have a picture with you?" A guy in his teens asked with a  shy smile on his face.

Luckily, most have left off and him and his friend were the last ones here.

"Alright." I said and his friend snapped a picture of us and they took turns.

"Thank you! Have a safe flight!" The guy and his friend said.

"Thanks and take care!" I answered back and they hurried to went out the plane.

"Iba talaga ang ganda ni Sarah!" Samantha shook her head smiling at me. She has took off her hat and was now combing her long brown hair.

"Naman! Kaya nga patay na patay sa kanya ang boyfie nyang si Billy eh!" Zenaida boasted and draped an arm over my shoulder.

I blushed and just grinned at them.

Suddenly, I missed home.
