Chapter 4
Klaus pulled his coat on and pulled the collar up. He stormed through the streets, no longer angry, but just annoyed. He walked and walked and didn't care to turn back to the house.
" Klaus!"
He turned around and saw Ellie running to him. He stopped and looked up as he heard thunder. Ellie stood in front of him and sighed.
" Don't run off, love." She told him, breathlessly.
" Ellie, it's just..." He looked down shook his head.
" That man is nothing compared to you, okay?"
" I know... I just... I love you."
" And I love you too! Don't get so upset, baby." She kissed his cheek and hugged him tightly.
" I'm sorry. I reacted so poorly." He shook his head as he chuckled.
" I told you to not freak out." She told him walking back with him.
" I thought that you were gonna tell me something else other than that!" He chuckled.
As the sky gradually got darker, they started to hear more thundering going on. Small droplets started to come from the sky, but soon after they started to fall, a full on shower started to pour. The two ran and tried to beat the rain, but ended up getting soaked anyway.
They closed the door behind them and breathed. Their hair was soaked along with them completely. Ellie looked and laughed at Klaus's crazy, wet, hair.
" Whats so funny?" He asked with a crooked smile.
Ellie bit her bottom lip and pointed to his head. He moved away from the door and looked at himself in the mirror. His jaw dropped as he burst out laughing.
" I look like a wet dog!"
" Oh my goodness, yes!" Ellie agreed, laughing.
" I'm gonna go dry up." Klaus chuckled, as he climbed up the stairs.
" I'll go with you!" Ellie yelled, grabbing his arm. Klaus chuckled and wrapped his arm around her as they went up the stairs.
The two went into her bedroom and took off their wet coats. Ellie grabbed a towel, and sat on the bed, wrapping herself with it. She covered her face with some of the towels and closed her eyes in comfort. The feeling of the soft, warm towel on her face, made her feel safe.
Ellie felt Klaus come from behind her, and wrap his arms around her. She felt his warm breath against the back of her neck, giving her goosebumps. She chuckled and grabbed his hand.
" You're being a bit flirty tonight."
" Well, we haven't been very active lately, and I don't wanna keep you bored."
" Klaus? What are you doing?" She asked as he started to take his soaked shirt off. He unbuttoned his pants and slipped them off, leaving him in only his boxers.
Klaus stood her up from the bed and grabbed her tightly, as he started kissing her. Ellie closed her eyes and embraced the moment. She knew how much this meant for the both of them since they've never done it.
" I know I said I wanted to wait until marriage. But I can't wait." Klaus said breathlessly.
Klaus laid Ellie down on the bed as he took her shirt and bra off. Ellie kicked her heels off and looked at him with lustful eyes, basically telling him to do it.
Klaus began to kiss her slowly and passionately, the two moaning in between kisses.
But, then, they froze to the sound of the front door opening. They heard a group of voices and got up from the bed. Klaus slipped his pants on quickly and pulled on a t-shirt, while Ellie buttoned her shirt and skirt on, just leaving her bra on the bed.
They both left the room and went downstairs to find Astrid and boys back. Ellie smiled widely.
" Hey! You guys are back!"
" Yeah, You guys didn't say that you were coming back," Klaus said to them.
" You look messy. Were you two wrestling again or something?" Astrid asked looking at the both of them.
" I think they were wrestling in bed," John said.
Paul rolled his eyes." Why must you always imply that people are having sex?"
" Keeps me entertained. Now shush." John told him back.
Klaus' face went red to the sound of them mentioning that he and Ellie did the nasty. Astrid shook her head and offered food.
" Yeah, I'm pretty hungry. Are you, babe?" Ellie asked Klaus.
" Yeah," Klaus said first before Paul did.
Klaus looked at him and frowned." What? Y'know she was talking to me, right?"
Paul froze for a second and nodded." Yeah, sorry! I misheard." He quickly apologized.
Ellie looked at Paul and Klaus and pulled Klaus away from Paul. " Babe, could you get my coat? I think I left it upstairs."
Klaus nodded and left up the stairs, looking back every few seconds towards Paul. While everyone else left into the kitchen, Ellie stepped towards Paul and straightened his shirt collar. Paul looked at her and frowned.
" What are you doing?"
" What are you doing!" She whisper/screamed.
" I'm not doing anything," Paul told her.
" Oh, don't you dare play smart with me! It's like you can't get over it!"
" Over what?"
" The breakup. I know it was hard, but we both moved on. Try not to give Klaus any hints that we've been together." Ellie told him. " Just don't."
" Did you ever tell him?" He asked.
" Not yet."
" You should've told him already. It's not right." Paul sighed.
" I know... I'm gonna tell him soon.."
" You better. I'm not looking for any trouble."
" Okay..."
" Hey, baby!" Klaus called from above." Do you want your scarf that I got you?"
" Sure!" Ellie smiled, as Klaus linked arms with her. Paul watched them happily walk away. Paul walked behind them, into the kitchen.
" Ey! The three have joined us. We were just deciding what to eat." Astrid grinned.
" Yeah, I was just getting her scarf," Klaus told them.
" Then what were you two doing?" John asked Paul and Ellie.
" We just talking and waiting on Klaus," Ellie replied.
" Okay." John crossed his arms and kept looking at Ellie as everyone talked.
The group left the home and decided to get some take-out. They sat in the car and waited for Astrid and Klaus to get the food since the boys would've been recognized. Ellie sat next to John, and Paul, while George sat in the front.
Ellie looked out the window, with she heard John and Paul talk about bread and pastries. She looked at the two and raised her eyebrows." Seems like an interesting conversation you both are having." She said.
" It is actually," Paul said.
" You see, Ellie, men don't always talk about girls and cars and other shit. We actually have genuine normal conversations." John said, sounding very clever.
" Why don't you talk to Ringo. Or George." Paul offered.
" Okay. I will." Ellie nodded.
Ellie leaned towards the front and rested her chin on her hands. She looked at George, who was reading a magazine. She saw his eyes scan across the page quickly.
" That guitar looks very cool." She smiled, pointing at a shiny red Gibson guitar.
" Yeah..." He simply said, turning the page.
" Ooh. I've always wanted one of those." Ellie pointed to a small Martin ukulele. She looked at it like a child would to a toy.
" Mmm. Okay. I'll keep that in mind." George said, nodding.
Klaus and Astrid both came into the car and handed two of the guys the food.
" Alright." Astrid sighed, sitting in the driver's seat." They seemed to have cooked it fast. I guess they recognized me from somewhere." She shrugged, putting her seatbelt on.
" Maybe, you were mentioned in a news article," Ringo suggested.
" Probably." Astrid nodded.
" Yeah, or perhaps the boys had talked about you on the radio or something," Klaus told her, putting his seatbelt on.
They all drive off and decided to eat at the park.
" At night?" Ellie wasn't sure about the idea.
" Yeah! I think it would very nice to go." John nodded.
" I agree. I think it's kinda romantic." Klaus smiled, as he raised his eyebrows at Ellie.
" I think it's dangerous." Ellie crossed her arms and looked out the window.
" What makes you think it's dangerous?" Klaus asked.
" Well... You don't know who might be there. There could be a killer for all we know! We could get robbed!"
" Ellie, honey. You're being stupid. Nothing like that will happen." Klaus told her.
Ellie frowned and scoffed, as she disagreed with his opinion." I'm not stupid." She whispered in response.
Astrid bit her lip and looked at the two of them through the mirror. She turned the radio on and chuckled as the boys' started to play. Astrid raised her eyebrows and smiled.
" What is this I hear? On the radio in Germany?" Astrid asked, pretending to sound clueless.
Paul rolled his eyes and laughed." It follows us where ever we go. The fame."
" Yeah... I knew you'd guys would make it big. After hearing you guys a year ago, I just knew it." Astrid smiled.
Ellie closed her eyes as the song played. The same song that the band played when she went to see them with her friend that one night. The night she met Paul.
Paul looked at her as she looked out the window. He too, remembered that night. He looked down at his hands and stood silent as the song played.
