Instead of waking up to a loud alarm ringing in Liz's ear she woke up to a kiss on the forehead. She felt the arm that was draped over her side. She turned around and faced Otis.

"Good morning beautiful" Otis said with a big smile.

"Hey babe"Liz said with a half drunk smile.

Lis stood up and realized she was wearing Otis's t-shirt.she walked out of the bedroom and started walking down the stairs to the kitchen. As she rounded the corner she ran into cruz.

"Good morning liz"cruz said with a confused smile

He looked down and saw that she was wearing Otis's shirt then he caught on to what was going on.

"Good morning! I'm making breakfast do you want some" liz said

"No I'm fine I'm gonna eat at the house....thank you though." Cruz said

"Ok have a good day at work" liz said with a smile as cruz walked out the door.

"You to"

Liz started cooking breakfast as Otis clambered down the stairs.

"Hey you didnt have to cook"

"No it's fine, I'm hungry anyway"

"Ok...what do we have here"

"We have scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast." Liz said as she put a plate infront of Otis.

"This looks delicious...thanks babe"

"Your welcome" liz said as she kissed

As Otis finished his breakfast liz got changed and ready for work.

"You ready to go?" Otis asked

"Yep" liz said as she threw Otis his keys.

Otis drove Liz to the district and dropped her off.

"Have a good day babe"liz said as she kissed Otis

"You to...good luck with the trial...and here I got you this before we left." Otis said handing liz a cup of coffee.

"Oh your the best"liz said laughing

As liz walked into the district Erin walked over to her.

"So...I take it last night went well."

"Yeah...it was...magical" liz said with a dreamy look in her eyes.

"You ready for the trial today"

"Yeah I think...I'm just nervous"

"Just remember we're going to be there for you"

"Thx Erin"

They both walked into the district together and up the stairs of the intelligence unit. As they reached the top of the stairs Antonio walked over to liz angrily.

"I need to talk to you now"Antonio said pulling liz by the arm.

"What the heck Antonio" liz said confused.

Antonio dragged her into the other room and said

"You had me and Gabby worried sick....you didnt call or text either of us we had no idea where you were." Antonio said

"I'm sorry I just forgot ok ..... look I'm fine"

"So where were you?" Antonio said raising his eyebrows

"Listen I'm an adult I dont have to tell you where I was."

"Oh my God.....liz look at me .....you where with Otis weren't you....you went back to his appartment didnt you."

"Ok Antonio I mean this in the nicest way back off.....that's none of your business."

"Actually it is I'm your big brother I'm supposed to protect you"

" I'm also an adult...you cant keep treating me like a kid anymore.....listen I'm gonna go do my job...so if you wanna stay in here you can."liz said as she stormed out of the room.

She started preparing her notes for the trial, which was taking place in an hour. Liz was very nervous about seeing the guys who did this to her. She was scared that she might screw up the case, but she wanted these dirt bags to go away forever. As she finished reviewing her notes voight walked over to her desk and said

"You ready kid"

"Yeah...I think so"

"Alright....let's go"

Everyone changed into their suits and dresses. They all headed out to the cars and took off to the court house.

"Listen kid we're all gonna be there for you...dont feel like your alone ok." Alvin said

"Thanks Al."

As they arrived at the court house Liz stepped out of the car and met Peter outside on the steps.

"Hey liz are you ready"

"Yeah...let's put these morons in prison." Liz said nervously

"Alright lets go"

Peter walked everyone into the courthouse. As they were waiting in the hall Liz felt a tap on her shoulder and as she turned around she saw all of 51 standing there.

"What are you guys doing here!"

"Well some of us are here to help you testify and we would be here regardless....51 has your back...always." chief said as he gave Liz a hug.

Gabby walked over to liz and said

"Hey....how you doing."

"I dont know...I'm just stressed out about this...and I feel bad I went off on Antonio this morning."

"About what?" Gabby asked

"Last night...I forgot to call you guys and I felt bad and then he just  started interrogating me,and treating me like a kid."

"He's just being protective like he always does....he was just worried about you."

"I know I'm gonna go talk to him."

Liz walked over to Antonio and said

"Hey I'm sorry about earlier....I just I'm very stressed out about this trial....I feel really bad about last night I just forgot about it."

"No lizzie this is my fault I shouldnt have gone off like that I was just trying to look after you....after everything that's happened I just I get worried."

They both hugged eachother as Peter called them into the courtroom.liz slowly walked over and sat down. As the judge walked everyone got to their feet. As everyone sat back down they brought in the offender and Liz's heart dropped. She turned almost deathly pale and she started to shake. Antonio noticed and began to worry.

"Hey just breathe he cant hurt you"

"Yeah"liz said.

(Guys my lawyer terms are not very good so just ignore that.)

As Peter began he said

"I would like to call my first witness to the stand....Sergeant Hank Voight"

Voight walked to the front of the court room and was swore in.

"Do you swear to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth."

"I swear"

Voight walked into the witness stand.

"Sergent can you tell us what you and your team found"

"We found two victims who were killed in an explosion. There where bombs attached to their cars which were triggered by the keyfobs."

"Thank you sergent" peter said

"Any further questions."

"No your honor" the defendant said

"I would like to call my next witness ...lieutenant Matthew Casey." Peter said

Matthew walked into the witness stand after he was sworn in.

"Lieutenuant can you tell us what happened on the call of the explosion"

"When we arrived on scene the car was completely engulfed in flames  we found the victim about 30ft. Away from the car. We also found a keyfob near the body which gave us proof that it was activated by it. We found wires and an enhancer on the car."

"Thank you"

"No cross examination"the defendant said

"I would like to call my next witness  detective Elizabeth Dawson."

"Liz slowly walked up to the stand and was swore in."

"Detective I understand that you where a victim in this case."

"Yes I was" liz said nervously

"Can you tell us about the case."

"Like my sergent said earlier  we had two victims already...we gathered information about the whereabouts of  the gang and when we arrived at the house we infiltrated and the offender ran out the back. My partner and I chased after him and I eventually caught up to him and put him in custody."

"Is the offender sitting in the courtroom now."

"Yes he is sitting right there" liz said as she pointed to the offender sitting at the defendants table.

"Thank you detective" peter said

"I would like to cross examine" the defendant said

Liz got nervous as he walked over.

"Detective, I heard what you've been through...I'm very sorry."

"Thank you"

"Giving that you've been through so much do you think that you might be mistaking my client for someone else."

"No...that's the man I arrested...also my partner and my entire team can confirm that."

"So how have you been feeling."

"Get to the point"

"Of course your honor"

"Since the incident have you had any types of PTSD."

"No"

"I'm very glad to hear that...so you would say that your in the right state of mind"

"Yes"

"Could your doctors confirm that"

"OBJECTION" peter yelled

"Sustained finish your examination"

"Memebers of the jury I believe that Miss Dawson's mental status is not stable enough to confirm that my client is the guilty party."

"OBJECTION" peter yelled

"No further questions" the defendant said

"Can we take a recess" peter said.

The judge gave the recess and liz practically ran out of the witness stand. She  walked outside and met Peter.

"I dont know what's happening in there."

"Its ok...listen Liz calm down....we have your medical records and thats proof against his whole come at you from your mental status."

"Ok so what do we do now"

"I'm gonna put you back in the stand."

"Are you sure"

"Yeah...I have an angle he cant beat"

The recess was over and everyone gathered back into the courtroom.

"I would like to Bring Elizabeth Dawson back into the stand" peter said confidentially

"Jury..we have miss Dawson's medical records and these prove that she is mentally stable and a reliable witness and victim.from reading your report  you said that the offender threatened you."

"Yes...he said that I was going to pay for arresting him and that I was going to wish I were never born."

"Thank you...no further questions"

"No cross examination" the defendant said hanging his head.

Everyone waited for the jury to make their decision.

"Jury have you come up with a verdict?"

"We have...on the count of murder we find the defendant...guilty,on the second case of murder we find the defendant...guilty...on the case of attempted murder against Detective Elizabeth Dawson the defendant is found......guilty."

The scum bag stood up and charged at Liz. He almost reached her but the bailiffs took him away. The scum bag yelled

"I'm gonna kill you"

Liz felt like she was going to be sick. After the judge let everyone out of the courtroom Liz ran out of there and into the bathroom. Erin and Gabby ran after her. When they came into the bathroom they saw Liz throwing up in the stall,and they ran in and held her hair.

"Let it all out lizzie." Gabby said

"Listen it's over....he cant hurt you ok." Erin said

Liz turned around and looked at them and sobbed.

"I'm sorry...I just...."

"Just breathe lizzie" Erin said

"Let's go get you a drink and cool you off ok" Gabby said

Gabby and Erin helped liz off the floor and got her a soda out of the vending machine. They all walked back over to 51 and the unit.

"Hey lizzie....let's get you home" Antonio said

"Yeah, Matt help Antonio get her to the car." Gabby said

Gabby turned to Peter and said

"Thank you so much"

"I hope she feels better" peter said

Matt,Gabby,Antonio,and Liz headed back to Gabby's appartment. When they got to the appartment Liz layed down on the couch and tried to sleep. The image of the man coming at her just kept replaying in her head and after a while something snapped. It was now late when Matt shot out of bed. He woke Gabby up and said

"Gabby something's wrong"

They ran into the living room to find Liz standing in the corner screaming.

"Get away dont come any closer!!"

"Lizzie it's me ok ....look its me" Gabby said

"Leave me alone !!"

"Matt call Antonio...Now!!"

"Stay back please dont come any closer."

"Lizzie it's me its Gabby"

Antonio arrived and ran into the living room.

"Liz what's going on!"

"Please dont hurt me...stay back!!!!"

Liz slipped out of the corner and around the couch.

"I'm calling the ambulance." Gabby said

Antonio motioned to matt ,who was standing behind liz, to grab her. As soon as Matt grabbed liz she started screaming.

"Please stop ..dont hurt me please!!" She said as she cried

"Its ok lizzie" Antonio said.

"Grab her legs Antonio" Matt said frantically

As Gabby got off the phone she tried to calm Liz down.

"NO!!! you cant let them do this...please help me."

"We're not going to hurt you"

"Your lying get away....get them off of me please help me!!"

Gabby's heart broke. She heard a knock on the door and rushed to open it.

"Shes having a psychotic episode or something"

"Ok guys hold her arm still"

"No!! You cant let them do this to me please help me!!!"

"Let's give two versed"

They stuck the needle in her arm and waited for the meds to kick in.

"No!please....no please help me dont let them hurt ...me"

Liz began to stop fighting Matt and Antonio,and her screams became whispers.

"Help me....please...hellp"

And at that liz passed out.

They helped the paramedics put Liz on the stretcher and restrain her.

"I'm gonna ride with them to the hospital." Antonio said

"Ok me and Matt will meet you there."

Antonio kept thinking that he should have told her what happened. He new that he failed at protecting his little sister again.Antonio needed to put his family back together,but now he didnt know if he could. Once again he felt hopeless.
