Everyone was celebrating and cheering for liz,Gabby,and Antonio. Finally their family was complete. As the cheering finally came to an end Gabby and Antonio turned to liz and asked

"How long are you home for?"

With a big smile liz grabbed both of them in a hug and said

"I'm home for good"

Once again everyone started cheering.

"and I'm going to work in the intelligence unit with Antonio"

Gabby with a shocked but proud look on her face congratulated liz, but in the back of her mind was worried, but Gabby has been worried about her little sister since she deployed three years ago. Chief Boden turned to Gabby and said

"And I'm giving you the day off go and celebrate and catch up"

So all three of them hopped into Antonio's car and went to their favorite restaurant,and then they took liz around town sightseeing. The last place they took liz to celebrate was Molly's. Liz was so proud of gabby for all the work she had put into it. So they all poured drinks except Antonio because he is the big brother and he has to be responsible and all that crap but mostly because he was the designated driver so ....yeah. After they had had enough fun for the day they headed home.

"I know you dont have a place to stay yet and dont lie and say you do so I called matt earlier and your gonna come stay with us until you can get your own place" Gabby said

Liz and her stubborn self tried to fight it but we all know that Gabby is even more stubborn than her. And antonio would have offered but brett is staying with him and .....yeah. so after Antonio drove them home they got liz's stuff and got her settled in. A few minutes later while gabby and liz were still unpacking matt walked in. Gabby walked over gave him a kiss and said

"Hey babe"

Matt kissed her back and said

"Hey I missed you today."

Liz stopped unpacking for a second and shyly waved. Matt walked over and said.

" I know your a dawson and none of them are that quiet especially this one (as he pointed at Gabby she slapped him on the shoulder) so dont be shy around me and make yourself at home"

"Thank you and it's really nice to meet you, I'm sorry you have to put up with her 24-7 "

Liz said with a chuckle. So matt helped Gabby and liz unpack her stuff and they all headed to bed. As liz layed down though she couldn't go to sleep she was so worried about her new job. She knew Antonio would be there for her but, that's what was bothering her she just didnt want to mess up in front of her big brother or imbarrse him in front of his whole unit. But when morning came she hopped out of bed eagerly and began to get ready for work. Matt and Gabby where about to leave when they all heard a knock on the door. Matt walked over to the door and opened it  to see a very tired Antonio standing there. Matt told antonio to come in. Matt yelled  to liz

"Your ride is here!"

Liz walked into the living room and saw Antonio sitting there looking tired and annoyed for some reason.

"Good morning sunshine!"

Antonio turned to her and half groaned half snarled at her.

"Well somebody's not a morning person"

"Ok you ready for your first day." Antonio asked

"Yeah I'm just a little nervous"

Gabby walked into the room and said

" well good luck to the both of you. Love you guys"

"Love you to"  Antonio and liz said.

They were driving down the road very quiet and liz was shaking she was so nervous. When they pulled into the parking lot of the district they were sitting in the car when Antonio looked over to liz and said

"Listen your gonna be ok. I'm here for you and everybody in the unit is very nice,and dont take it personal if Alvin is grouchy he always."

"I know I just.... I dont wanna disappoint you or imbarrse you. You've worked so hard to be were you are now and I dont wanna mess that up."

" i will always be proud of you and i do t want you to be worried about that because your gonna be great ok.

Antonio leaned over and kissed her on the forehead and said

"Now let's get going"

They both got out of the car and as soon as the cold air hit them they both started running towards the district racing each other like when they where kids. As they where running in liz noticed Erin and Jay walking in together. She turned to Antonio and asked what that was about.

"Jay and Erin are together also ruzec and kim Burgess are together. You'll meet her later probably she works patrol."

"Just like you to know all the drama." Liz said laughing at Antonio.

As they walked into the district they walked over to the gate and began walking up the stairs to the intelligence unit. As they reached the top of the stairs they saw that jay and erin where the only other people there.

"Well better to be early than late I guess" liz said.

Erin began walking over to them.

"Hi I'm Erin lindsay"

"Nice to meet you again" said liz.

Jay was sitting at his desk working on paper work and said

"Hey Antonio can you come help me with some of this."

" uh I have to show liz around but...."

Liz cut him off and said

"No go ahead I'll be fine"

" I'll show you around and that way we can get to know each other." Erin said

"Ok...if your sure ....keep an eye on her." Antonio said and then walked over to help jay.

Erin began to walk over to an empty desk in front of hers .

"So this is your desk and if you need anything I'm literally right across from you." Erin said with a laugh.

"Thank you so much I'm really appreciate this. "

Erin showed her around the rest of the district as people started showing up. Liz sat down at her desk starting to unpack her things. As voight walked in he walked to the front of the room and everyone's attention shot forward.

"Everybody welcome our new member of the unit Liz Dawson." Voight said

"Thank you"

"Liz your gonna be partners with Alvin"

Liz got nervous because of the things she had heard but she smiled and shook his hand.

"ok everyone we have a big case. We have two dead so far and we confirmed that it was gang violence."

Antonio started putting evidence pictures of the board at the front of the room.

"One of our victims is a 18 year old which was one of our CI. They put a bomb on his car and when he opened the door it went off. And our other victim is a tender age male we busted him last week for selling, but we made an agreement that if he told us his supplier we would let him off. He told us and we let him go it seems they used the same method for both murders. We are unsure of the....."

Antonio was interrupted by his phone buzzing.

"We've got another victim" said Antonio

"Let's roll"

Everyone grabbed thier coats and started to head out. Antonio and liz started walking together down the steps when Alvin walked by and said

" your with me kid"

Liz got nervous and she gave Antonio a look but he turned and reassured her. She followed Alvin to the car and sat down and said

"I'm really excited I get to work with you I've heard alot of good things about you." Liz said.

"Listen kid I've been on this job a long time and I've had a lot of different partners and this job will break even the best ok just remember that."

Liz keeping a straight face but on the inside she was having a panic attack.she just couldn't believe what her nee partner had just said to her.she knew it was gonna be a long case and now she was even more worried about her new job. She just hoped it was gonna get better and that's all she could do.
