Liz blinked her eyes open and squinted, and held her stomach. She sat up in the bed, climbed over Brett, stepped on Gabby's hand who was laying in the floor because Antonio moved her so Adam could sleep on the couch, and ran into the bathroom. She leaned over the toilet and started throwing up again. A very tired Antonio ran into the bathroom and held Liz's hair back and rubbed her back.

"It's ok let it out"

"Sorry.... "

"It's ok.... Let's get you back in bed"

Antonio picked Liz up off the bathroom floor and layed her back in bed. He looked over and saw Brett and he leaned over and kissed her on the  forehead. Brett stirred and turned and opened her eyes and sort of yelling said

"Hey Toni! "

"Shhh..... Hey baby"

"I don't feel good"

Brett jumped up and stepped on Gabby's hand again. Gabby sat up and said

"If one more person steps on my hand.... " She said as she got up and ran into the bathroom

They both got to the toilet and threw up.... Again. Antonio repeated the process and put the girls back in bed. He walked into the living room and stepped over all the guys and back over to his spot on the floor. He tried to go back to sleep because it was only 3 am but something was just bothering him. And all of a sudden he sat up and said

"Oh my God.... My little sister is getting married! "

Jay sat up because he was a lite sleeper.

"What's going on" Jay said rubbing his eyes

"Nothing I just..... I was thinking out loud"

"Uh huh sure.... You gonna tell me what's going on"

"It's nothing I just had a reality check"

"You had a reality check at 3 in the morning"

"It just... It hit me like a brick wall Lizzie.. The same girl who used to be scared of the dark and made me check under her bed for monsters is getting married. "

"She was scared of the dark! "

"Your missing the point"

"Right.. Sorry.... Otis is a good guy and they really do love eachother... It's gonna be ok... It's not like he's taking her away.. You'll still see her everyday.. I mean you do work with her"

"Yeah I guess your right"

Kelly, who was laying halfway in between Antonio and Jay, sat up and said

"Hey!... It's 3 in the morning shut it! "

Antonio and Jay layed back down and they both drifted off to sleep. When morning finally came Otis got up and walked into the kitchen to find voight and Boden sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee.

"Hey one of them is finally up" Boden said laughing

"Well it is sunday.... Which means I'm off so I usually sleep in and I'm not  gonna lie.... I'm a little hung over. "

"Well those are some good reasons... You want some coffee. " Voight said

"Yeah I guess" Otis grabbed a cup of coffee and sat down.

"So how you feeling" Boden asked

"I'm really excited.... I can't wait to marry that hot mess in there" Otis said laughing

"Yeah... She really is a good girl... And if anything ever happens to her I'd hate to be the person who did that something. " Voight said

"Was that a threat.... I feel like that was a threat"

"Yep...and remember I use a gun everyday... And I'm not afraid to kill a man for family. " Voight said

"Listen I love her with bone in my body... I would never hurt her... She is my everything and I would die for her. "

"That's my boy" Boden said putting his hand on Otis's shoulder.

"Yeah..... But just know me,Alvin, and Antonio will kill you"

"Yes sir"

The three of them finished drinking their coffee as everyone else started waking up. Liz sat up slowly and looked around. She saw Gabby and Trudy laying on the floor, and noticed that Brett and Stella where laying in the bed beside her. She carefully climbed over Stella and tiptoed over to the door. She stumbled into the kitchen and grabbed the aspirin in the cabinet.

"Hey lizzie.... How you feeling? " Voight asked

"Hungover"

"Well... Yeah... You want some coffee?"

"Yes please"

Kelly grabbed the pot and poured her a cup and they both sat down at the table. Liz sat beside Otis and put her head on his shoulder.

"Hey... Break it up" Antonio said walking over sleepily

"No.... You know we are getting married in a few days"

"Yeah I know.... I'm still your big brother ok so I don't like to see my baby sister hugging and kissing all over her fiancee. "

"Well you and Brett do it.... You don't think that's awkward for me! "

"Ok you two break it up" Kevin said walking into the kitchen

"Hey Kev" Liz said giving him a fist bump.

"I had a lot of fun last night we should do this more often" Cruz said also walking into the kitchen

"What get drunk, pass out, lose at poker, and puke our guts out..... Sure!"

"Wow.... Aren't you perky this morning" Hermann said

"My head is pounding! "

"Well you had 7 rounds last night and three more beers when you got home" Trudy said stumbling out of the bedroom.

"Look she's alive! " Mouch said

"Better watch it" Trudy said threateningly

"Sorry... Love you" Mouch said as he kissed Trudy.

"Ewww" Everyone said

"Oh come on grow up! " Trudy said

Once everyone got up and had breakfast they talked for awhile and then they decided to head home. It was only Liz and Otis now so they cuddled up on the couch and turned on the tv.

"I missed you last night"

"I missed you to"

"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you"

"I can't either I can't believe it's only three days away! "

"I know....im the luckiest guy in the world"

"Well I'm the luckiest girl in the world"

"Yeah i guess you are" Otis said laughing

Liz slapped him playfully on the arm, as her phone started to ring.

(On the phone)

"Hello? "

"Hey lizzie... Can you go pick the kids from laura... Shes really sick and she doesn't want to get the kids sick but I had a date with Brett tonight"

"Yeah... I'll get Otis to drive im still a little messed up....they can spend the night with us and I can bring them by the district"

"Thank you so much I owe you one"

"No problem love you Toni"

"Love you too Lizzie bye"

Liz sat her phone on the table and leaned back onto Otis. He wrapped her arms around her and asked

"Who was that? "

"It was Antonio.... He want us to go pick up the kids.... Can you drive please"

"Yeah... Definitely your still hung over"

"Oh yeah... Don't tell the kids... Oh and can they spend the night over here"

"Yeah...but I have shift tomorrow"

"Oh I do to I'm gonna take them to work with me and Antonio is gonna meet me there... I can just get Trudy to put them in lock up until he gets there" Liz said laughing

They both got off the couch and got dressed. Otis grabbed his keys off the counter and they both headed to the car. They drove over to Laura's, which Liz did not want to do because Liz and Laura never really got along, and walked to the front door and rang the door bell.  Laura opened the door with an angry expression on her face.

"Oh Liz... Hi... Where is Antonio.... He's to lazy to come pick up his own kids? "

"Don't start Laura...."

"Well it's true... He can't even take care of himself....

" Laura you might wanna shut it before I knock those crooked teeth of yours out.... Believe me id be doing you a favor"

"You can't talk to me like that!."

"I just did I don't ever want to hear you talk about Antonio like that again or so help me God! (Otis hit Liz on the arm as they kids came to the door)... Hey kids ready to go!"

"Yeah!"

The kids and Liz and Otis walked back to Liz's car and Laura slammed the front door.

"This is awesome!!! Can we turn the lights on! " Diego said getting into Liz's car.

"Sorry id get in trouble but you can sit in the back"

"Cool! "

Otis waited until both kids got in the back and said

"You know people who your aunt locks up sometimes use the bathroom back there"

"Ewww.... Aunt Lizzie let me out of here! "

"Eva calm down I just cleaned the car out... Besides they usually only crap themselves in your dads car"

"Wait a second I ride in the back when dad picks us up! " Diego said with a disgusted look on his face

"Ha ha ha ha ha you have to sit in crap" Eva said putting her finger in Diego's face.

"Hey stop that you two... Who wants ice cream! "

"Yeah! "

"Ok guys can you hang out with me Otis tonight"

"Yeah... Can we go to work with you tomorrow! "

"I'm not working tomorrow but Otis is"

"Yeah you guys could come with me"

"Yay!! "

Otis, Liz, and the kids pulled in to their favorite ice cream Paourler and got some ice cream and headed back to the apartment. When Liz walked in she realized she had left the beer out on the counter she had been drinking before they left. She ran over chugged the last sip and threw the bottle away quickly before the kids could see it. Liz threw a piece of gum in her mouth so the kids wouldn't smell it on her breath.  Liz liked to have an occasional beer or 5 but she didnt like for the kids to know. Otis caught a glimpse of what she did because he was walking in front of them and he shot Liz a weird glance and then sort of chuckled.

"So what do you guys want to boo... I mean do? "

"I don't know"

"I have an idea!... What if we play monster! " Liz said

"What's monster"

"Oh my gosh you dad never played monster with you!!!..... That was our favorite game when we where growing up! "

"So how do you play?"

"You turn off all the lights, and everyone hides except one person and the people hiding try to scare the seeker, if that one person can find everyone without getting scared and giving up then they win"

"Awesome!"

"Ok well....123 not it!! " Liz said

"Not it"

"Not it"

"Not it"

"Not it!" Otis said last

"Well babe your it.... Good luck...muhahaha" Liz said

Liz turned off all the lights and went and climbed inside one of the cabinets in the kitchen as Otis counted.

"1, 2,3,4,5,6...." And so on

Eva went in the bedroom and climbed under the bed and covered herself in laundry that was under there. Diego went in the closet and got in one of the bins that was behind some of the coats.  Otis finally finished counting and started to come around the corner he walked into the bathroom and looked behind the curtain, but no luck, then he went into the bedroom and started to look around he neared the bed and a hand reached out and grabbed him on the ankle.Otis wanted to scream and run but he could not lose to Liz he would never hear the end of it.

"Nice try Eva come out of there"

"Aw man I didn't even scare you a little"

"Nope.... Stay close to me... I've got to find the rest of you crazy people."

Otis and Eva walked out of the bedroom and over to the closet. Otis walked in and felt around in the bottom of the closet and got to the back of the closet. He got around the bin and all of a sudden Diego jumped out and onto Otis's back. Asuch as Otis wanted to scream he bit his lip, which made it bleed, but he was not gonna lose.

"Come on... That didn't scare you! "

"Nope"

"You've been hanging out with aunt Liz to much"

"Well we are getting married"

"Yeah I guess....wait you haven't found her yet... Oh no"

"Oh no what... What is oh no... "

"Aunt Lizzie is.... Terrifying"

"Oh boy... Let's go stay close"

Otis now more nervous than ever walked into the kitchen and started to look everywhere very, very carefully. Otis got to the sink and started looking in the cabinets, and all of a sudden he heard a noise behind him.  He stood up quickly and looked but there was nothing there, he turned back around to check the cabinets and there it was a horrifying looking thing and it jumped at Otis.  He screamed as the thing tackled him to the ground and growled and snarled. The kids scrambled to get out of there. Otis could see that this thing had wart looking things and splotchy skin. Otis got out from under it and flipped the lights on. When he turned back around he saw Liz laying on the ground with all of this horrifying looking makeup on.

"Lizzie you gave me a heart attack! "

"You lose!"

"How did you get that make up on that fast"

"Hello I was in the Mmarined... We had to learn how to camouflage ourselves pretty fast"

"Oh yeah... It looks great"

"I could have done better if I had more time"

"It's kinda funny we where just talking about the zombie apocalypse at the firehouse and who thinks they where gonna survive"

"Oh yeah.... You thinking what I'm thinking"

"Oh God.... That's brilliant"

"Yep... We can get the kids in on it to... Speaking of kids where are they? "

"I think they ran into the bathroom when little Mrs. Zombie showed up. "

"Oh yeah... I guess we should go get them... You might want to go first so I don't scare them"

"Yep"

Liz and Otis walked into the bathroom and Otis explained what happened and what they where gonna do.

"That looks amazing aunt Lizzie" Eva said touching the cuts, warts and scratches on Liz's face

"Yeah I love this plan its really gonna scare the guys"

"Alright let's get some sleep so we will be ready to scare the socks off these guys tommorow. "

Everyone headed to bed and got a good nights sleep. When they got up Liz put on the first phase of make up just making her skin look a little splotchy. After she was done she went in the living room where everyone was waiting.

"Wow that looks good"

"Thank you... Now let's get going we don't wanna be late....you got the tape?"

"Yep"

They all went down to Otis's truck and drove to the fire house. On the way Liz called Antonio and told him that she was taking the kids.When they got there Gabby and Brett where taking inventory on the ambulance.

"Hey lizzie.... How you feeling"

"I don't know what's going on I just woke up and my skin was splotchy and I just feel weird"

"We can give you a quick check up"

"No I'm good... Can Eva and Diego hang out here"

"Of course... Take them in the kitchen and get them a snack....i have some gummy bears under my bed... But don't tell anybody else"

"Yay! " They both yelled and ran to Gabby's bunk

"Thanks grabs" Liz said coughing and walking into the kitchen.

"I don't know Gabby.... She almost looks like she's dying"

"Yeah I know I'm worried about her to but it's probably just a cold"

"Yeah I guess"

(In the kitchen)

"Hey guys! "

"Hey Lizzie... Wow... No offense but you don't look so good" Kelly said

"Hey kel... I don't know I don't feel the best.... But I have to watch the kids"

"Well they can hang out with us just go lay down on Otis's bed. "

"Ok... Yeah.... Thank kel"

Liz snuck into the bathroom and put on the next phase of the make up.  She put some bumps and scratches and lines that looked like veins all over her face and arms, then she snuck over to Otis's bed and layed down.

(Back in the kitchen) 

Otis walked over to the stove and started cooking. He started dropping pans and knives to get everyone's attention away from the tv. While everyone was looking at Otis Eva slipped in the tape in the tv and pressed play, and then ran into the bunk room.

(On the tv)

BREAKING NEWS!

There has been a new disease that has been discovered. It is very deadly... Whoever is contaminated is very dangerous the first symptoms are splotchy skin, warts, cuts and scratches, excessive bleeding, red eyes, and veins will pop. We will have more on this story later but for now stay inside and if you come across someone with these symptoms stay away from them.

(The tape cuts off)

"Oh my God.... Lizzie" Otis said dropping his knife

"You don't think" Kelly said

"As much as I hate to say this... Let's not take any chances" Gabby said

As they went to get up they heard a loud blood curdulling scream.

"That sounded like Eva! " Gabby said running into the bunk room and over to Otis's bed to find the sheets soaked in blood.

"Holy crap what happened"

"Eva hunny where are you" Mouch called out

Everyone ran into the hallway and saw Liz leaned over Eva who had a big bite out of her neck and Liz had blood all over her mouth. Liz looked up they saw that her eyes where red, her veins had popped, and she had warts and cuts all over her.

"EVA!! "Diego yelled and Gabby covered his mouth.

Liz stood up and slowly started to walk toward them growling.

" Everyone get to chiefs office and lock the door.... On 3...1...2...3...run! " Matt said

Everyone started to run toward chiefs office. Just as everyone had gotten in the door and locked it Liz ran into the glass and started banging on it.

"What is that thing!!" Chief said not knowing what was going on

"That thing is liz!!" Mouch said

"She.... She"

"She what Kelly? " Chief said walking over to the glass and Liz banged on it harder.

"She ate Eva"

"What"

"She killed her and ate her.... That's not Liz any more. "

"We need to do something" Capp said

"I hate to say this but.... There is no way we can get out of here to get help unless we... "

"No.. That is my fiancee... We are not hurting her! "

"Otis wake up!!  That's not Liz look at her!!!!"

They where all arguing when they noticed the banging had stopped.  They looked out the window and saw Diego standing at the end of the hallway and Liz was turned around facing him.

"NO!!  DIEGO GET OUT OF HERE!.... SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING... PLEASE!!! " Gabby yelled

"I have to talk to her! " Otis said unlocking the door and walking out into the hallway.

"No Otis come back....! "

"Lizzie hey look it's me your not gonna hurt me"

Liz turned back around to face Otis.

"That's it look at me your not gonna hurt me"

Liz got closer and closer until Otis was pinned up against the door.  Diego had run into the conference room and locked himself in there.

"Lizzie let me take you to a hospital they can help you just take my hand" Otis said reaching out his hand

Liz looked at it and pounced pinning Otis to the door and Biting into his neck.

"NO!! "

"OK WE'VE GOT TO KILL THAT THING"

"That thing is my sister! "

"Gabby look at me that's not Liz" Matt said grabbing her shoulders

All of a sudden a bloody hand slapped up against the window.  Everyone screamed as Otis got up and they let him back in the room.

"Otis hold on we're getting help! '

"I... I... Lizzie now" Otis yelled

Liz stopped banging on the window and stastarted laughing and waving, then Eva came running up and hugged liz. Everyone caught on as to what was going on and they walked outside.

"Are you kidding me!... When do the pranks end with you! " Kelly complained

"Oh come on that was funny and you know it! "

"No it wasn't I thought you had eaten my niece! " Gabby said hugging Eva

"I'm fine aunt Gabby! "

"I know.... But don't ever scare me like that again.... Do that to your dad!"

"Ohhh can we!!..... Aunt Lizzie please!!!" Eva and Diego begged.

"I guess.... But be on your best behavior"

"We promise"

"Ok.... Well it was nice scaring you guys... I'm gonna go give Antonio some more grey hairs bye"

"Bye Lizzie" Otis said laughing

"Bye psycho....... That my sister for you" Gabby said rolling her eyes.

Liz grabbed Otis's truck keys and headed to the district when they walked in and over to Trudys desk she shrieked.

"Oh my God what happened to you guys"

"It's just make up we came to scare my dad where is he" Eva said

"He's upstairs... I wanna see this... I'll buzz you up"

"Thanks Trudy"

Trudy buzzed them up and as Liz walked up the stairs she noticed nobody was there which was perfect. So Liz came up with a better idea. They all walked down stairs back to Trudys desk.

"Hey do you have an empty cell? "

"Yeah... Why"

"You wanna help us scar the crap out of Antonio? "

"Yes!"

"Ok then listen up"

Liz told Trudy her plan and Trudy went and locked Liz, Eva, and Diego in the cell and Liz put more make up on both the kids. When the everybody from the unit walked in from there lunch break Trudy called them over.

"Hey guys I need to talk to you"

"What's up Trudy" Voight said

"Well..... Antonio... You guys need to take a look for yourself.... Somethings wrong with Liz and the Kids."

"How bad... Where are they! " Antonio asked panicking

"I... Can't describe it but I had to lock them in a holding cell"

Trudy led the unit to the cell where Liz, Eva, and Diego where banging on the bars and growling.

"Oh my God what's going on with them" Voight said

"Oh my God.... Eva hunny look at me... Diego.... Lizzie! "

Liz reached through the bars and grabbed Antonio's shirt.

"Lizzie? "

"Dude...whatever that thing is is not Liz" Jay said pulling Antonio away from the bars.

"What should we do? "

"I... I... Think you know what we have to do. " Trudy said as Eva jumped at her

"No!... Thats my family in there that's my kids! "

"Listen that's not them Antonio!.... There gone"

Trudy went towards the door to unlock it, but when she went to open the door Liz pulled her in and took a bite out of her arm. Trudy fell to the ground and Voight pulled her out of the cell and slammed the door.

"Trudy...hold on we need to get you to the hospital"

"No... No... What we need to do is et a make up wipe and help me get this off. " Trudy said starting to laugh

"WHAT! " Antonio said

"Gotcha again.... I am on fire this week" Liz said laughing.

"That was awesome.... I'll give you that" Kevin said laughing

"And that makeup looks so real! " Erin said as Liz stepped out of the cell and she touched it.

"Sorry dad.... But it's nice to prank you for a change" Eva said laughing

"Yeah.... But don't ever scare me like that again! " Antonio said hugging both of his zombified looking children.

"Well now that I've given you some more grey hairs I'm gonna head home"

"Yeah get out of here you psychopath "

"I had a lot of fun with you guys! " Liz said hugging Eva and Diego.

"We did to bye aunt lizzie!" They both said

Liz left and dropped Otis's truck back off at the firehouse. Then she went home and turned on the tv, grabbed a beer and sat down on the couch.  Today was a good day, she got to hang out with her family, be with her man, and most importantly scare her brother and sister. She loved her crazy family and was so happy that she could add more people to her insane asylum she calls a family.
