Otis drove home and walked in the bedroom and saw Liz laying in bed fast asleep. He also saw a half empty bottle of wine which might explain the wierd text he got. He changed into his sweatpants and pulled off his shirt, and climbed into bed next to Liz. Otis threw his arm around her and Liz started to stir. She turned to him and said

"Hey..."

Otis could smell the wine on her breath and he knew she was wasted.

"Hey baby...how many did you drink" Otis said with a smirk

"I dont know how much is half a bottle."

"To much" Otis said

"Hey"

"Hey what?"

"I think I'm drunk"

"Yeah you are" Otis said laughing

"Yep"

Liz nuzzled into Otis's chest and fell asleep in his arms. He was so excited that soon she would be his world and they would have more nights like these. Otis and Antonio had an amazing plan and Otis already had the ring. Otis woke up and Liz was already getting into the shower. Otis started getting dressed for work as Liz made coffe. They  both hurried to the car and Otis drove Liz to work he kissed her on the forehead and said

"Hey...I love you so much"

"Aww..I love you to" liz said as she kissed him

Liz got out of the car and waved bye. She walked into the district and up the stairs to the intelligence unit. She sat down and started on paper work. She looked up and saw Antonio walking in. They both made wierd eye contact. Liz was confused but its Antonio and she always knew he was a goofball. Liz got a text from Gabby and it deeply concerned her. But the next part in Antonio and Otis's plan was unfolding.

(Gabby and Liz's text)

"Hey do you know where Otis is"

"No...he was on the way there"

"Hes not here yet"

"Gabby...do you think something happened..oh my God I hope hes ok"

"Ok liz breathe...I'm sure there is some logical reason for this."

"Yeah your right"

Liz looked up to her phone to see everyone busy at work but then Antonio got a call and his face dropped.

"What's wrong!"

Antonio looked at liz and she could see his heart break in his eyes

"Lizzie"

"Toni what's wrong your scaring me" liz said with tears in her eyes

"Guys we have a call...liz ride with me"

"Toni...no please tell me its not" liz had a bad feeling in her stomach and she knew what was going on

"Lizzie come on"

"No...no"liz said collapsing to the floor.

Antonio picked her up and carried her to the car as liz sobbed into his arm. When they arrived on seen Liz saw all of 51 lined up in there uniforms and at the end of the line there was caution tape,Otis's truck and a body bag in the middle of it all. Liz got out of th car and ran to the end of the line. Antonio ran after her and tried to reach her before she got to the bag. Liz fell to the ground right infront of it and sobbed. She slowly pulled back the tarp and saw the love of her life laying there pale and lifeless.

"No...baby look...please I'm here just open your eyes please" liz said sobbing into her hands. She looked up from her hands and looked at him again but this time she noticed something in his his hand,a shiny diamond ring. Otis eyes popped open and liz screamed.

"Oh my God baby dont scare me like that ever again."

"I'm sorry lizzie....(Otis got to his feet and helped liz up to) you have made me the happiest man in the world and I dont ever want to lose the gift that I have you are the most wonderful woman in the world. (Otis got down on one knee and liz started tearing up)Elizabeth Taylor Dawson will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"

"Oh my God.....YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES!!!"

Otis shot to his feet and picked Liz up and twirled her around as everyone clapped and cheered.

"I love you so much" Otis whispered into liz ear

"I love you to"

Everyone gathered around and congratulated them when herman yelled

"Everybody...let's celebrate at Molly's drinks on the house"

Everyone cheered even louder and they all headed to Molly's. Liz rode with Otis and the rest of truck in 81 and everyone else met them there. Liz couldnt stay off of Otis she starred into his eyes deeply and kissed him softly on the lips and wrapped herself around his neck. She felt like she was the happiest girl in the world...and she was. As they arrived at Molly's Otis carried Liz into the bar and sat her down at the bar. All the girls gathered around Liz and looked at the ring.

"Its beautiful lizzie...its so beautiful" stella said

"I cant believe this is happening" liz said happily

"I'm so happy for you sis" Gabby said

Liz started laughing and Gabby looked at her puzzled.

"What's so funny?"

"Otis is gonna be your brother and law!" Liz said almost falling off the bar stool.

"That's not funny" Gabby said threateningly

Meanwhile the guys where talking in the corner

"Hey welcome to the family"Antonio and matt said laughing

"Yeah...you know the jokes on you guys"

"Why?"

"I'm gonna be your brother in law" Otis said about to roll on the floor

Both Antonio and Matt's faces dropped whole everyone else started laughing.

They all got a round of beers and Otis put his arm around Liz's waist.

"I cant wait to share the rest of my life with you"

"And I cant wait to get home" liz said with a fire in her eyes.

They all grabbed a few more beers and celebrated. Liz stared at her ring in awe.

"Otis your such a sneak....I dont remember you ever even hinting that you went out and bought a ring"

"Lizzie .....I bought that the day i first layed eyes on you"

"Let's get out of here...now"

Liz and Otis headed back to their appartment. Meanwhile back at Molly's everybody got a few more rounds and matt,Gabby,Antonio,and sylvie all got out of the bar and went back to their apartments with love in the air. Liz layed back in the sheets and looked over at Otis walking over to her side of the bed. He handed her a glass of wine and cuddled in beside her. He put his arms around her and they started talking about their plans.

"So...this marriage thing when do you want it to happen?" Liz said laughing

"If I could I would marry you right now"

"Oh...yeah"

"Yep...I want to do it soon"

"Me too i want everybody their....I want no drama and a great honeymoon."

"That sound great"

"Where do you want this to go down babe?"

"What about at the firehouses?"

"Yeah! That would be great!"

"I'm so lucky...I got the best guy in the entire world."

"I love you with all my heart...now let's get some sleep and then we can talk more about this."

"Yeah we can talk to chief tommorow"

Liz and Otis fell asleep and they both woke the next morning eagerly. Otis got ready for work and liz rode with him to the fire house. They both walked in and were greeted by kelly at the kitchen doors.

"There's the happy couple" kelly said as he hugged liz

"Hey kelly"

"Have you seen chief"

"Yeah...he's in his office"

"Thx severide"

"Yeah"

Liz and Otis walked to chief's office and knocked on the door. He motioned for them to come in and he stood up and hugged Liz and said

"Hey lizzie....what do you guys need"

"Well we were wondering...if we could have our wedding in the firehouse."

"Are you kidding I wouldnt have let you have it anywhere else."

"Thank you so much!"liz said as she hugged chief

They both walked into the kitchen and said hey to everyone.

"Hey I'm gonna head out and go look at some floral arrangements."

"Ok I love you baby"

"Love you to"

Liz went to look for flowers. And at the firehouse the bells sounded and they all rushed out the doors as they arrived on scene everyone realized what the address was. It was Chaplin orlovsky's house. Everyone rushed into the burning building and searched for the Chaplin. Otis made his way upstairs and as he made it up the stairs they collapsed he was going to have to find another way out. He looked around and found the Chaplin on the floor in the bathroom. Otis picked him up and carried him to the window.

"I found the Chaplin but the stairs collapsed...I'm stuck"

"51 let's gets a ladder up to that window and ambo bring the body board."

They positioned the ladder in the window and Otis started climbing down and he met Gabby and sylvie at the bottom of the ladder. They loaded the Chaplin up and put the fire out. Kelly came out of the house and said

"It was a kitchen fire,started on the stove."

Everyone headed to med to see how he was doing. When they got there chief walked up to Maggie and asked

"Where is the Chaplin?"

"Hes in the room right...there" Maggie said pointing to a room in the corner of the ED.

"Thx mags"

Everyone walked in and Chaplin orlovsky's face lit up.

"Hey everybody!"

"Hey chaplain....now you know you cant cook." Kelly said laughing

"I know....sorry to bother you guys"

"Its our job chap....I'm sorry about your house....51 is here for you if you need anything" chief said

"Hey...its just a house....and I really appreciate everything.....now I heard one of you is getting married."

"Yeah I am" Otis and smiling

"Well who's the lucky lady"

"You remember liz...my sister" Gabby said

"Oh my gosh.....your engaged to little lizzie Dawson!"

"Yep...when was the last time you saw her?"

"Well she was in highschool..."

"Wow...has it been that long?"

"Yeah I would love to see her"

"Well I have a great Idea.....we would love you to marry us."

"I wouldn't let anybody else do it" Chaplin said with a smile

"Great liz is gonna be so excited!"

Everyone talked to Chaplin a little longer and then they all headed back to the house. The rest of the night was slow and Otis was driving himself crazy...he wanted to be with liz. Then it got worse when liz started texting him

(Liz and Otis's text)

"Hey baby...I miss you😘"

"I miss you too...I wish you were
here."

"I wish I were to...I'm still stuck at work I've got a lot of paper work to catch up on"

"Yeah it pretty slow here....I have good news"

"What?"

"I got Chaplin orlovsky to officiate our wedding"

"Oh my God that's great!....I got the floral arrangements picked out and ordered."

"Good your the best at that."

"Yeah I am😏....I have to go...I'll text you later"

"Alright love ya"

"Love you to"

Liz was busy with at work with this paper work. She was almost finished and she needed a drink. She was also busy making plans to go look for dresses,and someone to do her hair.she texted Gabby,Brett,Stella,and Erin and said

"Hey girls...I found a place to go look for dresses....can you take off tommorow."

"Yessss!!😆😆"(brett)

"Yeah I'm there....we're both off tommorow" (Erin)

"Yeah...your gonna look beautiful sis"(Gabby)

"This is gonna be fun...girls day😎"(stella)

"What's up ladies 😎"(kelly)

"Who let kelly in the group chat....get out kelly!"(liz)

"Sorry I hit the button by accident🤦‍♀️"(stella)

"Whatever I'm going home and getting a drink...really excited about tommorow girls"(liz)

Liz grabbed her stuff and headed out of the district. She drove home and put on her shorts and Otis's t shirt. She didnt understand why but she loved wearing his tshirts. She grabbed a beer out of the fridge and turned on the game. She started thinking about tommorow and she said to herself

"Oh my God...this is happening..."

She couldn't believe her dreams where coming true she had everything she wanted. She drifted off  to sleep and she dreamed about the family she would have one day she dreamed about Otis and she dreamed that all of her family was together and happy. Liz had never been so happy in her entire life.
