The child was cowering inside her cell. She was cowering in fear as she looked at you. You broke the locks and open the door of her cell then crouched down, making her feel less threatened.

"I won't hurt you..." You said, soothingly. "Come here... We need to get going..." She looked at you hesitantly before slowly walking towards you. Your heart twitched. She was just a child yet she was wary of everyone. Well, you couldn't complain after what she's been through after all.

You gently picked her small frame and carried her then smiled.
"It's okay. Don't be scared, little one! What's your name?" She looked at you then looked down. "...M-My name is...M-M-Mina..."

"(YOUR NAME)! Wake up! It's breakfast time! It's breakfast time!" A familiar voice rang out.

You blearily opened your eyes to see the recognizable green hair. It was Mina. You chuckled and shook your head then wondered why you weren't at your house.

"By the way Mina, why am I sleeping here?" You asked the bubbly child in front of you.

Mina huffed and puffed her cheeks. "Honestly! Big brother (Nickname or Name)! You stayed here the night because it was very late! Big sis Ria said that there are bad people at night!" She scolded, yes, SCOLDED.

You just got scolded by a young girl for trying to go home in the middle of the night.

You scratched the back of your head sheepishly. She huffed again.

"C'mon! Let's go down to breakfast!" She urged and you sighed.

"Yes, yes. I'll be there in 15 minutes. Shoo! Chibi one! Shoo!" You joked as you waved your hands at her.

She stuck her tongue out then left the room. You stood up and proceeded to the bathroom.

Once in, you stripped your clothes off, folding them neatly aside then went inside the shower stall to take a hot shower and maybe even forget the horrible nightmare...again...

When you finished taking a bath you head down the kitchen, feeling refreshed and energized.

No one noticed you enter the kitchen but it was worth it since what you saw inside the kitchen made you stop and snicker.

Ria was holding her index finger. It looked like she cut herself from placing the knife at the knife drawer which was full of knives but what made you snicker was that Jake (mentioned at the Prologue) was holding her hand from behind her.

It looked like that Jake was hugging Ria from behind. You giggled.

"Oy! You two lovebirds better not take it too far!" You said, making them jump and look at you in surprise.

"W-When did you g-get there?!" She exclaimed, blushing. "H-Hey! W-We aren't lovebirds or anything! I was j-just healing her hand!" Jake exclaimed while also flushed.

Jake, like Ria, was also an elemental. He wasn't an elemental of fire but of water. They were kind-of opposites since Ria was a hot-head and Jake was mostly cool-headed.

But hey, opposites attract, right?

Jake had messy icy blue hair that had a tint of dark blue at the tips of his hair strands.

His eyes were aquamarine blue. Ria, of course, had auburn hair and flaming red eyes.

Somehow, though, elementals sometime correspond with what element they have with their hair or eye color. Like brown/gray with earth or silver/white with wind.

You shook your head at them and grinned. They really look cute with each other.

Too bad they don't know that they had feelings with each other even though it was already in front of them.

"Go eat already!" Ria huffed, still blushing. You nodded and raised both of your hands in defeat. "Okay! Okay! Oh, by the way Jake," Jake perked up and looked at you. "Yes?" He asked.

"Don't make love on the first night!" You said then ran, laughing. Both of them sputtered at what you said and turned red than the reddest tomato.

"(YOOUURR NAMMMEE)!!! I'M GONNA GET YOU!" You heard Ria shriek from a distance. You just snickered and went inside the dining room.

After eating, you looked after the children since Ria and Jake were doing the dishes.

You looked at Mimi. She was playing with Josh, Mina, Cody and Nate.

Mimi was a half tiger and, of course, you should probably already know that her hair's stripe is that of a tiger. Her hair was orange and had black stripes on it as well on the tips of the strands.

It reached down her mid-back. Her tiger ears perked up above her head and her orange tail swishing from side to side. Her eyes were yellow and were slitted like that of Mina.

Josh was a hyper dog crossbreed or a pup since he was still a child. He had brown shaggy hair and his ears were drooped down naturally.

He smiled revealing his canine fangs. His tail swooshed side by side, happily. His eyes were full of warmth and loyalty. You could tell that he had a crush on Mimi by his occasional glancing on her and blushing.

Cody was shy and often stuttered. (Sounds like Toby, lol)He was a fox crossbreed. He may be shy but he was sneaky and very intelligent. He had messy red-ish orange hair that matched perfectly with his glowing yellow eyes.

He had a crush on Mina but liked teasing her which often makes Mina think that he doesn't like her.

Nate was a mysterious dark haired boy. But even if he wasn't a crossbreed he still fitted in perfectly with everybody. His bangs covered his eyes. He held a white teddy bear to his chest. The teddy bear was a female since she had a red ribbon tied to one of her ears and teddy bear eyelashes? One would think that he was girly for having a teddy bear but no one seemed to complain in the manor since everyone had their differences in there and accepted it.

And, of course, everyone already accepts that the teddy bear Nate had was alive. With the name of Natalie. Natalie was protective of Nate, you remembered.

When Nate had a fever, Natalie was always by his side. You remembered the time when you placed her by the chair next to Nate. You went to get a clean towel from the drawer but when you turned around Natalie was at Nate's chest. Or when he was crying when some girls bullied him for having a teddy bear which ended up where Natalie hunted them down and made them cry.

You pondered about the subject a bit before turning your attention to Mimi who had been calling your name.

"Yes, Mimi?" You asked. She then pointed at the television and jumped up and down. "We wanna watch (Some Child Show)!" She said enthusiastically. You smiled at patted her head before walking over the television and turning it on.

The television flared on to see it was on the news. You took the remote and started to flip the channel to the show the kids wanted but not after hearing a very familiar name on the news.

"...Dr. Nabal Travesty was a..."The news reporter said.

You furrowed your eyebrows. Nabal Travesty? The name seemed familiar...

But you don't remember where you heard that name.

Sighing, you shook the thoughts away but stored the information inside your head.
