Near the school's courtyard

The weight of unsaid words was in the air as Hairi stood in front of Sehun, eyes locked for what felt like a lifetime. The soft glow of the city lights cast a shadow over Sehun's face, and for a moment, it seemed as if time itself stopped, holding them both like statues.

This is the day Hairi wanted to tell Sehun about everything, about the time travel and her feelings, but she was scared. But the words stayed stuck in her throat, tangled in the truth she could no longer ignore.

A message had come "Do not alter too much. Time is fragile, and too many changes may unravel everything."

Yet, the message had been clear: her time at this moment was like telling her this was the time to confront whatever it was. She had made her choice. Then a message said: you don't have much time, time is fragile.

Sehun's voice broke through her thoughts. "Hairi," he whispered her name as though it was the most delicate thing he had ever said. His eyes were filled with an intensity she couldn't place. He was confused. They had spent so many moments together in the past few days , sharing smiles, and laughter, but this felt different. His voice carried a sense of finality like he knew something she didn't.

Before she could respond, the world around her began to blur. The air thickened as if the very fabric of reality was stretching, distorting. Hairi's body shuddered in response, and a sharp, painful tug gripped her chest as though she were being pulled in two directions at once.

She gasped, her hands reaching for Sehun instinctively, desperate to hold onto him, to this moment. "Sehun"

But the world around her began to vanish. The warmth of his hands, the softness of his touch, the steady rhythm of his breath. they all disappeared in an instant, leaving only the cold, unyielding void.

A flash of light erupted around her, blinding and disorienting. It was as if time itself had unraveled, its threads pulling her in every direction. And then, just as suddenly as it had started, the light faded.

Hairi gasped as she was thrown back into a place she didn't quite recognize. The once familiar world felt... wrong. She looked around frantically, her heartbeat pounding in her ears. The streets, the buildings, the faces everything was the same, but there was something off about it. She couldn't place it, but the unease at her insides.

And then it hit her.

She was back. Back to her own timeline. The year 2024

She was in the present. The present that she had tried so hard to change, the present that no longer had Sehun in it, at least not in the way she had come to know him. Her heart sank as the truth washed over her: the timeline had reset.

But it wasn't just the timeline that had shifted. Sehun was a distant figure now, a shadow of someone who no longer existed in the world she returned to.

Her hands trembled as she reached for her phone, desperate to see some proof of her connection to the present. A quick glance at her screen confirmed it: the messages from Minji were still there, but there was no trace of Sehun's name. There were no reminders of the moments they had shared, no lingering traces of the love that had once blossomed between them.

She stood still, frozen in shock, trying to piece together what had just happened. The pull of the past, the warning, the sudden departure-everything felt like a dream. But the ache in her chest, the emptiness that now filled the space where Sehun once was, was all too real.

Her head spun as the memories of the future , the one she had briefly experienced ,slipped away like sand through her fingers. The timeline had reset. But at what cost?

As she stood there, her body numb with the shock of it all, she look at the unknown message again.

" You have 3 chances to fix everything, you have used up your first"

She looked at the message again.

" I have two more chances but when is it exactly" Her heart was heavy as she walked around her room. Every step felt like it was pulling her further away from the world she had briefly touched. She glanced around the familiar streets, feeling like a ghost haunting her own life. Her thoughts were consumed by Sehun, by what had been, and by what would never be.

She felt the weight of the world on her shoulders, the uncertainty of what she was supposed to do now that everything had reset. But then, her fingers brushed the cold surface of her phone. The buzzing reminder of the present her connection to reality. She pulled it out again, her hands trembling, but this time with a sense of resolve.

Hairi stared at the screen for a moment, hesitating. She needed someone to talk to. Someone who might understand, or at least listen. The weight of the truth she carried felt suffocating.

She opened her messages and found Minji's name. It felt surreal, like everything was out of place yet still fitting together in some strange way. She typed quickly, her fingers flying over the keys as she wrote the words that had been sitting heavily on her chest since she'd returned to this version of her life.

Haiti: Minji, we need to talk.

Her fingers hovered over the send button for a moment, but she didn't hesitate this time. She pressed it. The message was sent, and the silence in the air seemed to thicken even more.

It only took a moment before Minji's reply came through. Hairi opened it eagerly, her pulse quickening. She wasn't sure what she expected, but the words that greeted her were not what she had anticipated.

Minji: Welcome back, Hairi.

The simple phrase felt like a knife to the heart. Minji knew. Minji remembered everything, or at least, she understood. Minji knew about the time she had spent in the future, the love she had left behind with Sehun, and the changes she had tried to make.

Hairi let out a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. Her body felt drained, as if the energy she had used to navigate this confusing situation had all been siphoned away. She needed to talk to Minji, to tell her everything. She couldn't keep carrying this burden alone.

She typed her reply, her hands more steady now, as though her decision had already been made.

Hairi: I don't know where to start, Minji. Everything's... different. I've made changes. I came back to the future, and I... I love Sehun. I've made mistakes, and I don't know what to do."

The message felt like it weighed a thousand pounds, but it was the truth, and for the first time in what felt like forever, she let herself be vulnerable. She had spent so much time trying to avoid the consequences of her actions, trying to hide from the reality that was staring her in the face. But now, she was done running. She needed to tell Minji everything.

Her phone buzzed again. Minji's response was quick.

MInji: I figured something was off. I could tell you were acting strange, like you weren't really here. But I had no idea it was this. Hairi... you're not alone in this. I'm here, okay? Let's talk.

Hairi's chest tightened with emotion as she read Minji's words. It felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Minji knew. Minji was there for her, just like always. She wasn't alone.

"Thank you, Minji," Hairi replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hairi: the unknown message said that I have two more chances to fix everything... should I Listen to it?

Minji: Why not... beside I want you to be happy and you and Sehun used to be together all the time.

Hairi: Why used to be? I might just listen to it thank Minji.

Minji: IDK maybe your old self your 18 year old self distance yourself from Sehun. Wait right there I will be right over.

She slid her phone back into her pocket, feeling the presence of her friend even without her being physically there. A part of her was terrified of confronting the full truth, but another part of her, perhaps the part that had always trusted Minji was ready to face whatever came next.

The night seemed to stretch on endlessly, the streets of her city passing by in a blur. She didn't know where to go or what to do, but she knew she couldn't keep running from the truth. She couldn't keep pretending like nothing had happened.

Hairi's thoughts drifted back to Sehun, to the time she had spent with him. The way he had looked at her, the way he had held her in that final moment. The ache in her chest returned, but it was different now. It wasn't just the ache of loss, it was the ache of understanding. She had loved him, and he had loved her, but fate had torn them apart. And now, she would have to live with the consequences.

The streetlights flickered as she walked, the rhythm of her footsteps echoing in the silence. She was on her way to meet Minji, but more than that, she was on her way to face the reality of what had happened. It was time to stop pretending like everything was fine. It was time to let go of the past and find a way to move forward.

Minji's presence was a comforting thought as Hairi approached the familiar coffee shop where they often met. The warmth of the building wrapped around her, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee hit her senses, grounding her in the present.

Inside, Minji was already there, waiting by their usual table. The moment Hairi entered, Minji looked up, her eyes soft with understanding. Hairi's heart squeezed at the sight of her best friend. She had always been a constant in her life, someone who had seen her at her best and at her worst.

Minji stood up as Hairi approached, her expression kind but tinged with concern. She didn't ask questions-she didn't need to. Minji knew that now wasn't the time for small talk.

Without saying a word, Minji pulled her into a hug, and for a moment, Hairi just let herself be held. The steady beat of Minji's heart against her ear was a quiet reassurance that she wasn't alone in this. She wasn't alone anymore.

As they pulled back, Minji gave her a small, encouraging smile. "You're not alone, Hairi. I'm here for you. Always."

Hairi wiped the stray tear that had escaped down her cheek. "I don't know what to do, Minji. I've messed up. I've altered everything. What if he won't remember me?"

Minji's face softened, and she sat down across from Hairi, her expression thoughtful. "But you did, Hairi. You were there. And Sehun, he... he felt it too. He will remember the way you made him feel. And that's something that no reset can take away. You were part of his story, just like he was part of yours.Besidebit wasn't you who distance yourself from Sehun it was your past self"

Hairi nodded slowly, unsure of where to begin. "I didn't want to hurt anyone if I ever did. I just... I wanted to fix everything. But now it feels like I've broken something that can't be fixed."

Minji reached across the table, placing a hand on Hairi's. "We can't change the past, but we can choose how we move forward. What matters now is what you do next, not what you've already done. You've always been someone who looks to the future, Hairi. You can still make your life what you want it to be."

Hairi stared at their hands, the comforting pressure of Minji's touch grounding her. Maybe Minji was right. Maybe there was still time to build something new, even if she had to let go of the past.

"Thank you, Minji," Hairi whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "Thank you for being here, even when I didn't deserve it."

Minji smiled softly. "You don't have to thank me, Hairi. We're in this together. Whatever happens next, I've got your back."

And for the first time in what felt like forever, Hairi felt the weight on her shoulders begin to lift. She wasn't alone. Not anymore.
