Third persons POV

Mrs O'Brien couldn't believe what was happening in front of her. She had gone to look for Eghe in her office so they could go through the days work. she couldn't find her in her office, she went into the kitchen hoping to catch Eghe there, she was informed by a kitchen staff that Eghe went into the store room adjoined to the kitchen to get some stationeries for her office__Only to get there to find Ikay, his back to her. She was about calling his name when she heard the CEO's daughter talk. She listened to their conversation and was transfixed. She was caught between going back or disturbing their little tirade.

By the time she got out of her daze they were already kissing, oblivious of their surrounding. Then she heard Eghe's loud moan. Just before someone else walks in on them and makes this already awkward scenario more awkward. She cleared her throats. Mrs O'Brien could practically see them freeze.

Ikay was the first to regain himself, and that was a record breaking act. Ikay turned to face her, his face devoid of expression. Like he wasn't just kissing the bosses daughter.

"Mrs O'Brien" Ikay called completely blocking Eghe from Mr's O'Brien's view.

"Mr Omoruyi" the elderly woman nodded towards Ikay. knowing fully well what the young man was doing, trying to save Eghe's face. Mrs O'Brien decided to call out Eghe, she needed to face her shame, needed to take responsibility for every action. she was the CEO's daughter and was suppose to be an example to other staffs. What if someone else had walked in on them.

"Mz Luckett" Mrs O'Brien called  Eghe who finally regained herself from the shock and stepped out from behind Ikay.

"To my office Now" Mrs O'Brien said and immediately turned. she couldn't bear the sadness she saw on Eghe's face. She went straight out of the kitchen and took the elevator  going straight to her office. She  tried processing what she just witnessed.

What was going on?. Just last week she had walked into the assistant head of account department frolicking with another employee who happened to be Karen, her assistant at the human resource department. Now this.

Their hormones was taking a better part of their senses, she had watch Eghe grow and knew better. She knew Eghe wasn't the type to indulge in such act, with what she has observed slash seen the girl was too uptight. She could tell Eghe was into Ikay from the little conversation she heard. But that needed to stop because this was a work environment. Every extra curriculum activities should be done outside the hotel, not only outside the hotel but after working hours.

But what was she going to do about this case. The bosses daughter and the best chef in the city, if not even the country. She was left confused.

She was fond of Eghe and couldn't bring herself to telling her father. Though she had reported the case of The assistant head of account department and Karen. They were waiting on a board meeting to sit on the issue, she was so sure one or both of them would be dismissed. Mr Luckett doesn't condole such behavior around the hotel.
Mrs O'Brien kept wondering what to do in this case.

Ikay watched as Mr's O'Brien stormed away. What was Eghe thinking was plastered all over his senses. Her small form was visibly shivering. He could feel her tensed form beside him. He knew he had messed up, he wouldn't have followed her into the store room knowing fully well how things were between them. It was his fault and he just couldn't wait to tell her that.
He turned so he could face her fully, but the face that greeted him melted his heart. She was sad. He didn't want her sad.

"Calm down babe, we're adults" was the next words flying out of his mouth. The sad face she had on was immediately masked by irritation. Okay! What have I said now.

"You unremorseful much! We're adults huh! why don't we go up the kitchen counter and have sex there__so the whole kitchen staff would know how adult we can be" Eghe replied harshly to him. Fear of the unknown taking hold of her.

"We would do that if that's what you want" Ikay replied her sarcastically trying to adjust her clothes.

Eghe slapped his hands off her and matched passed him, she left him standing at the store room.
Ikay sighed and  followed Eghe out, they were going to face Mr's O'Brien one way or the other, but that was the least of his problems.

By the time Eghe got to the elevator, Ikay was already standing by her side. She glaced at him briefly then faced forward waiting for the elevator to ping.

"You need to calm down" he told her softly.

"What if she tells my Dad" Eghe replied fear flashing through her facial features.

"She won't" Ikay told her reassuringly

"How would you know that" she asked gosh she wished she could just blame him, but she knew better. She would have controlled her emotions. She was at fault here. If she could pass through this phase she would never be close to Ikay again. She sworn.

"I just know_ Eghe I'm sorry" Ikay apologized I won't have followed you into that store room, knowing how much I'm attracted to you"

"Don't be sorry" she replied him "its my fault, I would have controlled my emotions, my emotions took......"

"I don't want you controlling your emotions around me" Ikay said cutting her off.

At that the elevator pinged, the door slide opened and occupants disengaged. Eghe stood boiling from Ikay's reply. Was that the best reply he could give in this case.

She kept him quiet and stepped into the elevator Ikay by her side. She wondered where he was heading to but didn't bother to ask.

They stood in silence as they rode the elevator, both deep in thought. Eghe couldn't wait to apologize to Mrs O'Brien. Ikay wanted to be by Eghe's side while she faced Mr's O Brien she wasn't going to take all the blame.

He was at fault and he needed to let the HR know, and if there was going to be any punishment he was willing to take one for both of them.
