Author's POV

"What's happening? " Parker asked glaring at Tony as if he knew what was going on.
Elles and Thor had gone completely white and as stiff as a statue. Steve and Clint helped lift Thor while Parker and Tony carried Elles. They hurriedly took them to the lab and placed each one on a bed.

"We have to alert the others. They're becoming lifeless. Who knows what's causing this? " Steve said and Clint moved away to contact Vision, Wanda and Bruce.

Suddenly, the lab shook making everyone fall down. A blue light emanated from the end of the room. Thor and Elles had also fallen off their beds.

"Hope you don't mind me interrupting but I came for a little mission?" A voice flooded the room.

An alien, a female alien almost as tall as Tigrahn himself but with black hair and slanting eyes like that of a tigress which shone a bright green and blue skin with white markings on them, stood staring at the Avengers and the bodies of both Asgardians holding a long spear like sword in both hands.

"Who are you? " Steve asked positioning himself for defence should any attack take them by surprise.

She walked towards Elles and squatted next to her then ran her long fingers through her hair. The Avengers looked on with extreme caution.

"Well, let me introduce myself " She said standing up slowly, "Kalia. I assume you wouldn't know me but I have to let you know that this. . . " She pointed at Elles ". . .belongs to me!."

Nat balled her fists, "You don't have any proof, you're just one of that Tigrahn's puppets, aren't you? "

Kalia smiled coyly ,"I swear I don't know and have nothing to do with whomever you just mentioned. I'm here on a sole purpose."

Nat moved closer to Steve then whispered, "We can't take her word for it, I don't believe her! "

"Prove that you don't want trouble. Drop the weapons and step away from her with your hands up! "Steve said in his usual gentleman tone but with authority.

Kalia rolled her eyes then let her swords clank to the floor then raised her hands up moving backwards at the same time. Steve cast a glance at Tony, Clint, then Nat. They all simultaneously pulled Elles and Thor closer to themselves.

"Why did you come here? Care to explain how this lady, you say, belongs to you? "Steve asked crossing his arms over his chest.

Kalia smiled then put her hands down causing Clint to fire a warning arrow right by her ear.
"I've got plenty more where that came from. Trust me, I don't miss. "
"I see that. But one arrow isn't enough to keep me at bay! " She said as her eyes glowed a bright orange and her legs too.

"Oh, we don't plan on using just one arrow!" Nat said and Bruce transformed into the Hulk and roared mightily at Kalia causing her black hair to whip around helplessly. He smashed the ground and glared at her, growling angrily.

"You wanna start talking, Mystique? "Tony said with a half smile on his lip. She let the illumination go off in her eyes and legs then sighed in defeat.
"I'm not surprised you wanna know me so badly, a lot of people do. "
"We don't care about you, just tell us why you're here so we can get on with our lives!"Tony said tilting his head sideways.

"Fine. Like you already know, my name is Kalia. I'm from Dakan. A planet worlds away from Asgard but hidden from plain site. I was a victim of Tigrahn's attack on my home planet. "

"AHA! BUSTED! "Peter yelled earning glares and warning looks mostly from Nat and Clint, his eyes dropped to the floor then everyone focused on Kalia again.

"My family was killed. Each one slaughtered before my very eyes. Tigrahn was a demigod seeking the Orb of Dakan, he's from the Dark World. The Orb is a mighty weapon that was held in the heart of my hometown. It was an object of destruction and was taken as a spoil from a war thousands of years ago. My people had kept it safe for years. Until Tigrahn came, he turned Musam upside down searching for the Orb. My father was able to retrieve it and we tried to escape but my father got killed. I was badly injured and almost dead until I came across a woman in the Wasteland of Dakan, she helped me treat my wounds and the only way I could repay her was to help her get back to her own planet. 'Earth' she called it , before she left, I asked her if she wanted anything in return for her great help, she said she wanted a child. I was able to give her one since she had been with a man recently, I fused my blood with that of the mother so the child would be able to wield the Orb just like I did. I was able to heal and lay low until the chaos began in your planet, I warned the lady of allowing the child meet her father that their reconciliation would cause trouble. Tigrahn doesn't know that this girl can wield the Orb, that's why I came."

"I don't get the 'why you came' part! "Clint said.

"I need to help her master the Orb. If Tigrahn gets his hand on her and the Orb, it could be mass destruction. He could even use father and daughter to do it! "

"He's weakened them with it. "Nat added.
"He doesn't know that they're useful yet!"Kalia said. "It's best we keep it that way."Tony added.

"So, how do we wake them up? "Bruce asked, he'd shrunk back to his normal size.

"I'll do it. But once I do, i would've altered the effects of the Orb. Tigrahn would know that. What he thinks is that, with both of them out of the way, he'll be able to take over the Earth and defeat everyone of you. The minute he discovers how useful they are. . ."

". . . It'll be the end of days. Two gods on a demi god's side. "Nat said shaking her head gently.

"Then wake them up. We need to suit up and get ready for the fight. "Steve ordered.

"Tigrahn's army is countless, he's creating more by the minute. They're more than five hundred thousand. I've seen his troops. They're marching down here, I had to inform you because I wanted to help."Kalia added.

"The second he got here, I knew he meant business. But we're not going to let him win. Not this time." Steve said.

"Avengers, it's time to work for a living!" Tony said and everyone prepared for battle. Kalia was able to wake Thor but Elles was being difficult.

When everyone was suited up, they crowded Elles who still hadn't woken up. Just then, Wanda and Vision arrived.

"We received Clint's message! "Vision said as soon as he came in. He looked at each Avenger and gave a slight nod which they seemed to return.

"What's going on here? " Wanda asked looking Kalia up and down. Her blue skin almost made her look transparent and contrasted strongly with her green eyes.

"Wanda, i'll explain later but right now we have to try to wake her. "Steve explained pointing at an unconscious Ellesmere. Thor sat beside her head watching her intently as if the minute he took his eyes off, something worse would happen.

"What really happened to her? " Vision asked this time. The others were moving around gathering gear and weapons and suiting up. Steve balanced on one leg then motioned for Kalia to come over.

"Her name's Kalia. She's quite important in the aspect of creating Elles. Quite complicated but that's it. Somehow, Tigrahn's using the Orb against them. Thor was unconscious too but she was able to get him up. "

Kalia spoke up, "She's resisting my powers. She's telepathic too and she's blocking me from reaching the point where I can wake her up! "

"So you're saying she doesn't want to be woken? "Thor said from behind as he finally left Elles to come stand with them.

Kalia curtsied surreptitiously as Thor came to stand next to her "That would be a reasonable explanation. She's very powerful. If she doesn't want to wake up then it's best we leave her that way. She probably has a reason for zoning out. "

"She did that to me the last time I tried to reach her. I couldn't, I got hurt in the process. I was fighting to break in but it was hopeless. " Wanda said looking up at Vision and then at Steve.

"If we're going to prepare for battle then we might as well look for a safe place to hide her. We can't let the fight get to her in this state. " Steve said and left with Wanda and Vision behind him.

"Your Majesty! It's amazing how much your daughter has your looks and strength."Kalia said and curtsied again with a slight bow of her head. Thor looked at her unsure of whether or not he'd met such a person.

"Do I know you? "He asked, his voice deep and almost intimidating. Kalia shook her head. "No, but I know you. You're Thor, Son of Odin and Prince of Asgard. My planet was some worlds away from yours."

"Was? "Thor asked as his left eye closed involuntarily.

"Yes. It was destroyed by Tigrahn's quest for the Orb. It was never a one of the nine realms but was sorely a part of one. "

"Which one? "He asked and then his attention shifted from her to Wanda who had her eyes closed and a red hue of her magic swirling around her painted nails. She was positioned above Ellesmere with eyes shut. The red hue left Wanda's fingers and rotated around Ellesmere's head and shoulders.

In a minute, Elles had woken up startling everyone, she soared three feet above the couch with her arms slightly spread apart, her eyes and body covered with Wanda's magic.

"Is she awake? " Natasha asked Wanda whose eyes were still shut and hands blazing with red hue.

"Ellesmere? "Thor called out, his voice literally causing the room to vibrate. Elles turned to look at him, her expression void of emotions.

"I can't. . . I can't get her out. . . " Wanda struggled to say, her accent thick in her tone.

"Wanda, get out of there now! "Kalia yelled and the Tower shook and leaned towards the right throwing Nat, Steve, Clint, Kalia, Bruce and Tony out of the building. Peter threw a web just in time to catch Wanda and Elles, Tony was quick enough to put on his suit while Thor and Vision soared avoiding falling items.

"Get them out of here! " Thor yelled to Peter who struggled to bear the weight of both ladies and at the same time, balance on his string of web. He swooped backwards and forwards then way backwards and crashed out the back of the Tower landing some metres away from the collapsing building. The trio fell recklessly onto a street startling two young girls scooting by.

Elles was still unconscious but Wanda was back. "What happened? "Wanda asked turning to look at the Tower that was still collapsing causing a minor tremor.

"We have to go help them! " Wanda said as she touched the gash on her right ear wincing silently.

"No, we have to get her far from here." Peter suggested kneeling next to Elles. She also had a cut on her right temple and it was bleeding down her face. "Hi !" He said to the girls who still stood rooted to a spot, the shock of the latter's fall had caused them to stop and stare.

"Hi! " They said in a more questionable manner. They were probably ten Peter guessed.

"We need your help okay. My name's Peter. This is Wanda. What's yours? "He asked putting on his best smile.
"My name's Camille. "The girl with ginger hair said, she stared intently at Wanda.
"Mine's Cairo. " The brunette said.

A huge explosion made them turn towards the Tower. It was late afternoon but the weather turned dark and grey and lightning struck surprising the girls but the two Avengers knew what was going on.

"Let's get outta here! "Cairo screamed and threw her scooter running as fast as she could. Camille followed without hesitation leaving Peter completely clueless on what to do next.

"there's no way we can keep running with her like that. "Peter said disturbingly.

Wanda lifted her hands twirling her nails and her magic surrounded Elles then lifted her off the ground. "Let's go! " She said and they ran out of the deserted street with Elles floating in a cocoon of red light behind them.

Been a long time guys. I'm super-duper sorry for the long absence. I went AWOL but that was totally unplanned ,exams and all. I had to study and may have been forced to drop my gadgets.

I missed this, I missed writing and I missed you all. I'm back now so it's gonna be smiles and happy days.

This chapter is a peace offering for not posting for the longest time. I'm really sorry guys, some people might think I abandoned my story but on my honour as a Marvel fan, I will never do that. Tee hehe.

Also, there are teeny tiny changes I made to the real set up of the Avengers like how they have cream colored couches in the Tower but in the movie it's actually black. Hope this doesn't annoy anyone, I am not trying to be a know-it-all, I mean the Russo brothers knew what they were doing when they requested black couches. I just wanted to improvise a little.

Okay, have a great time guys cuz we're almost coming to the end of this story. I'm kinda sad that it's ending kinda like the Endgame.. *sniffs and hands everyone a tissue *
