Another Alien, Another Hero- Part One
I was hiding out in an abandoned warehouse in New York on planet Earth, where she had escaped from the giant ship of aliens who were pretty much slave sellers in the galaxies. I saw Batman's apprentice and the little goblin from 'Doom Patrol' as they teamed up with a girl in a blue cloak, and a muscled man hiding beneath a hoodie. I couldn't help these four heroes, nor could I help the alien princess escape the alien slave sellers, so I watched as they joined together and stopped the the alien girl and Robin freed her from her cuffs before she kissed him to learn English. She warned him away before flying off.
Third.
"So... I'm BeastBoy, who are you?" The little green goblin asked the hoodie wearing 'hero'. They all looked around the damaged city.
"Well, whoever she was, the girl sure knows how to make an impression." The hoodie guy says as he looks around.
"I think we made a pretty good impression." BeastBoy said cheekily. "Crazy space girl is gone, the city is saved mission accomplished, right, sir?" He asks Robin as Robin turns to him.
"Seriously, stop calling me that." Robin says.
"Roger." BeastBoy salutes.
"Looks like we're done here. I appreciate the help." Robin says as he starts to walk away from the three other teens.
"You're going to track down the alien?" The cloaked girl asks.
"I have to find out if she's a threat." Robin says. "And if she can lead me to Bloom." He mutters the end so they don't hear.
"More like find out if she'll give him another kiss." Hoodie says.
"Hey si– I mean, Robin, do you maybe–" BeastBoy I cut off.
"Sorry. I just went solo. I'm not really looking to join a team."
"Need a sidekick?" He offers but Robin walks away. He turns back to the other teens as the Hoodie boy walks away. The girl turns away from them, about to leave as well. "You guys want to get a pizza?"
"I shouldn't." The girl says hurriedly, walking off after.
"Just you and me then, huh? Cool." BeastBoy says as he walks with the tall teen boy who still hasn't given his name. "I-I haven't really had anyone to hang out with since I quit the Doom Patrol. This is gonna be fun, can we play video games–"
The hoodie clad boy stops, BeastBoy bumps into him. He turns and pulls his hood down, revealing his cyborg like face.
"There! Take a good long look!" The boy yells. "I had an accident, and now I'm a monster, alright, a cyborg."
"Cyborg? Cool!" BeastBoy says genuinely impressed. "You're like Robotman 2.0." He climbs onto the taller one.
"You're a weird little dude, you know that?" He asks the little green goblin dude. BeastBoy chuckles as he stands in front.
"You called me dude." He says happily, watching the other boy lift his hood again, ready to leave him alone. "Okay, so see you later..." The Cyborg walks away. "Right, dude? Dude?" A shadow casts over BeastBoy and the Cyborg. "Dude!"
The shadow is the space ship that once contained the alien princess the four teens fought only moments before. It drops a big, flaming tower on to a small island off the coast of the city.
"Looks like space girl has friends." Cyborg says a BeastBoy now stands beside him. Robin turns up beside them as well.
"Or enemies." He adds. A projection erupts from the tower, showing the alien leader on the ship.
"People of Earth, we come to your planet hunting an escaped prisoner, a very dangerous prisoner." The ugly alien informs. Raven stands with the three teen boys. "Do not interfere, and we will leave your city with only minimal damage, but if you attempt to assist her your destruction will be absolute." He threatens before the projection turns off and the ship let's loose more aliens, hunting for the prisoner.
"That's a big ship." Cyborg says as the doors of the tower opens.
"And those are some scary-looking aliens." BeastBoy adds.
"They told us not to interfere." Raven says as she steps forward. The aliens fly closer to the city. The three turn to Robin.
"You're still going after her, aren't you?" Cyborg asks.
"Can we come too?" BeastBoy asks excitedly. Robin looks over.
"I suppose I could team up just this once." He smiles. The three other teens start to smile at him. Robin turns and walks, the two boys following as the cloaked girl looks over to where she sees eyes staring at her in a warehouse. She motions for the person to join them, but they shake their head. Going deeper in the shadows. She looks down a bit, feeling sad.
"You in?" Robin asks as he stops and turns to her. She looks up.
"I'm not the hero type, trust me." The girl says. "If you knew what I really am, you wouldn't want me around." Robin places a hand on her shoulder and she looks at him.
"I know enough." He says as she turns back to him and the other two boys. Robin had said something both he, and the cloaked girl both have heard before, by a very important person in their lives.
The four teens go off to find the alien prisoner, and the person the girl tried to have join them, came out of the shadows, revealing a black haired girl, a few years older than Robin, wearing a long pink dress, matching her eyebrows, her eyes a dark red. She smiles softly, watching the four teammates disappear in their search.
"Robin..." The girl whispers, clutching her hand to her chest. "Take care of my sweet Raven..." She mutters before she disappears in a puff of petals, leaving behind cherry blossom petals where she once stood.
You can see the aliens tearing up cars, dumpsters, anything that could hide the alien prisoner. They fly off hen they see no sign of her, not checking a small alley where the four teens hide, also looking for the red haired alien.
"Alright, we need some way to track." Robin starts.
"She near." The girl in the cloak, Raven, tells them. The three males tilt their heads in confusion at her. She looks a little uncomfortable at their looks. "I can sense things..."
"I'll see if I can pick up her scent." BeastBoy gladly changes the subject from the uncomfortable teen girl. He shifts into a bloodhound and sniffs around.
"There's a sonic analyser built into my arm." Cyborg offers, looking at it behind Robin and Raven who watch BeastBoy, turning to him as he continues. "If she's around, I'll hear it." He fires it up.
"Good." Robin says before they turn to BeastBoy who shouts.
"I've got her trail!" He hides back from human to dog again.
"And I can hear her heartbeat." Cyborg says as a heartbeat shows on his right arm.
They then follow BeastBoy who leads them to a video store with a melted hole in the wall. Inside the alien can be seen eating popcorn and candy like she has been a starved animal her whole life. The four walk in behind her.
"Uhh... Those taste better without the wrapper." BeastBoy says, watching her devour the candy bars, wrappers too. The girl stops before she eats another thing of popcorn, wiping her mouth before turning to them, eyes glowing, she yells.
"It's alright. We're friends, remember?" Robin offers.
"Friends? Why? For what purpose did you free me?" The redhead asks angrily.
"Just... Trying to be nice." Robin says as him and Raven look nervous as they all four back away from the green orbs in her hands as she steps closer to them, threateningly.
"Nice. We do not have this word on my planet." She says. "Closest is rutha, weak." Her eyes narrow on the four.
"Well around here, nice means nice and if you want us to keep being nice you better tell us why the lizard king took you prisoner." Cyborg says strongly. Her eyes dim before they turn normal for her people.
"Not prisoner. I am... Prize." She says softly, sadly. "The Gordanians deliver me to the Citadel to live out my days as their servant."
"Gordanians?" Robin and Raven whisper to themselves. The two shake off thought before focusing back on the alien girl.
"And the Citadel are?" Raven asks almost shyly.
"Not nice." The girl says seriously. Robin steps forward.
"Then you're not going with them. Not if I have anything to say about it." BeastBoy steps up to Robin.
"Umm, don't you mean we?" He asks before am explosion blows them from their spots in the video store.
"Seize her!" The aliens.
Then the bad guys and the five teens run towards eachother, prepare to fight. Raven and the alien are flying while the boys run at the flying enemy. The team appear to be winning, Raven using her magic and blowing a hole in the wall where the aliens fly out into the streets along with the girl. She throws her green orbs at her enemies while dodging their attacks before she is thrown into the ground and a spear with energy aimed at her face. Robin sees and helps her, she smiles at him before more aliens attack them. One alien who is fighting Cyborg rips his hoodie, revealing his human and cyborg body. Cyborg gets mad and fights back. BeastBoy, as a pterodactyl, picks him up an flies off as Raven uses her magic on a lamp post to hit around the aliens, causing them to flee for now. The immobilised ones left behind, unconscious or dead. The alien girl turns to the four.
"I believe your expression is... Thanks." She says.
"Oh, man. My suit." Cyborg complains as Raven and BeastBoy look at him.
"So? You look way cooler without it." BeastBoy says.
"Yeah, like I'm takin fashion advice from the guy in the goofy mask." Cyborg says harshly. BeastBoy's ears lower.
"Goofy?" He asks sadly. "My mask is cool... Isn't it? Raven?" Cyborg and Raven both shake their heads at the young teen. "But what about my secret identity?"
"What secret identity? You're green." Raven says. He tries to say something back, having no comeback, taking the mask off. Robin and the girl join where they stand.
"This isn't over." Robin says seriously. Raven glances to an alleyway, where the same eyes from the warehouse, look at her. "Now that we interfered–" the girl interrupts him.
"Trogaar will strike harder. It is only a matter of–" she is cut off by another protection from the alien tower.
"Fools! The Earth scum were warned." Trogaar says. "Your insolence will be punished. Your city shall be destroyed." The projection turns off, leaving countless of citizens panicked. The ship moves over the city now, a cannon aimed at them. Raven walks closer.
"Great." She says sarcastically. She glances at the alleyway to see the eyes move up and down, signalling the persons agreeing to help them. "Least we have more help now.
"Aha are you talking about, Raven?" BeastBoy asks, not noticing the figure walking out of the shadows behind him. The three other teens get in a battle stance except for Raven, who shows a slight smile. "What? Do I have a bug?"
"Hello Raven." The figure says as they come into the light revealing a girl wearing a floor length pink dress and cherry blossoms in her black hair. She smiles. "Long time no see, Robin."
