Xaria sighed as they sat up on eyr bed, sie turned hir head to the side to look at the clock. 1:00am? They thought. Already? Uhg, can't I get one night of sleep without him bothering me?

Xaria lay their head back down on the pillow and half wrapped the magenta blankets over hir body.

BUZZZZ

Xaria leaped up with an irritated groan. "YOU KNOW WHAT? FINE! WHATEVER, I DIDN'T NEED SLEEP ANYWAYS I GUESS" E screamed to the world.

After calming down a bit, sie looked at eyr communicator, Nothing. This was to be expected of course as he never left findable clues to his meddling. To anyone else, there would be nothing there, but to Xaria, e knew that this was a message from him

Xaria yawned and muttered unsayable words in hir native language, galactic, the one used on the enchanting tables, the language of voidwalkers and watchers. Eventually and through much convincing emself to get off the bed, sie finally managed to drag themself off the bed. Unfortunately for Xaria, hir legs were still asleep from the 3 hours of sleeping and e fell onto the floor with an unfortunate plunk.

"⎓⚍ᓵꖌ, that hurt." Xaria muttered monotonly as sie stumbled to get back on two feet. Once back up e walked confidently over to the front door of hir house, grabbing eyr trident on the way out and then pressing the button to spawn. Upon pressing the button, Xaria felt the usual spern of nausea before landing safely in.. a pool.... of water....?

Oh great, just my luck. I'll get you for this, Autumm.... Xaria thought angrily while stepping out of the pool of liquid and started walking towards the sacrificial tower, which of course, was across Waterlogged Bridge.

Once across, Xaria slowly dragged hir feet across the sandy beach over to the tower, if you could even call it a tower, in reality, it was a bunch of "evil looking" blocks surrounded by soul camp fires with even one on top of the tower as well, and at the bottom of the tower, a small pool of lava, only 1 block deep but still there nonetheless, standing near it made the water on Xaria's pants instantly start to evaporate. The purpose of the lava was only to discard of items or to sacrifice them to "God".

But to Xaria, the tower had a different purpose, this tower, given the right objects, would bring em to him. They threw in a block of nether wart, three netherite scraps, a bucket of water, filled to the absolute brim, a jungle sapling and one red-tinted diamond. As soon as the diamond touched the lava, Xaria disappeared. It was almost as if they had never been there in the first place.

For a few seconds there was darkness, not calming but not quite panicking darkness. 1... 2... 3... 4... 5. And then there was light, not much of it but more than before. Looking around, Xaria noticed the familiar room around hir, walls made dark, black bricks that looked like they were taken straight from the depths of hell, and the floor and ceiling were made up of an intricate pattern of reds and blacks, and finally, in the very back of the room, perfectly centered was a red throne, covered in black spikes, and on it sat a figure. But Xaria didn't look up at the figure, sie already knew what he looked like. E instantly bowed down on one knee to show hir respect for the dark ruler.

I have called you here for something very important.

Xaria didn't speak, sie knew not to by now, all eyr questions will be answered, either way why were their questions important anyway, all it would do is show the ruler that you are questioning his decisions, and nobody questions him.

There is another. I need you to investigate him.

This surprised Xaria. Another? Another mystling? I thought they were wiped out in the-

Go. Now. Find him and report back to me. He will spawn tomorrow morning, keep a close eye on him. He could ruin everything we have planned. I will not lose again.

"Yes my ruler. I will investigate this other...." Xaria replied with as much loyalty as they could muster this early in the morning.

And with that, Xaria was gone from the room and back at spawn, sie looked up and noticed the sky which was already a cool blue colour. And in the distance, sie spotted something that had not been there before, somebody who had not been there before.

Eyyyyy first chapter pog! Or prologue but whatever, I know prologues usually aren't this long but I had the minor amount of motivation and I kinda started off too far from the place I needed it to end, and THEN I realised that I should make Xaria notice "the figure" that I'm going to pretend nobody knows the name of... (Totally didn't put it in the description...) But yeah, hope you enjoyed and are excited for the next one which will be written by my partner so don't expect it for a few days! Anyways:

Ladies, gentlemen, theydies and gentletheys, have a FAEtastic day! -Faerie
