Chapter 2

The next day Jesella helped Anonymous put on some clean clothes and get into a wheelchair. "You will be able to eat breakfast with us today!" Jesella beamed.

"I would be glad to dine with you."

"What manners!" Jesella smiled widely.

"I try to keep myself in check. It's a little hard when you haven't been around people in a long time."

"Well, it must be nice to be around people again then."

"Sort of."

"What's not pleasant about being with people?"

"All of the talking."

"Hahaha!"

Once at the table Anonymous stared at all of the plates. How can they have so much food in one place? "Eat darling. It's very good food." said Jesella, with a mouth full of eggs. Anonymous smiled. "What?"

"Nothing Jesella. Its gust... Hahaha!" "

What's so funny?" Then everyone started laughing.

"Jesella. You have food all over your face." She just sat there. Then slowly she started to laugh too. They kept laughing until Great-Grandfather came in.

"Clean yourself up, Jesella." He said sitting down. Jesella got up and left the table. After that everyone ate in silence.

"So what should I call your Great-Grandfather?" Anonymous asked Zaso while he was pushing her down the hall.

"I don't know. It's the only thing i remember people calling him, other than my dad. He called him Old man."

"Ok. I'll call him Great-Grandfather." Anonymous stared into space.

"What's bothering you?" Zaso asked.

"Great-Grandfather. Why is he so angry?"

"I don't really know. I guess it's just how he is." Zaso shrugged.

"Why does he not like me?" Anonymous looked up at Zaso.

"I don't really know that either." he said after a while.

"Will you take me to the garden?"

"Shure." Zaso smiled. After a couple of turns they made it to the garden.

"Wow. This looks so much better than from in the window." Anonymous said and stood up.

"Hey! I thought you couldn't stand yet."

"I heal fast." Then Anonymous started walking into the spectacular garden. Once in the middle of the garden Anonymous saw the biggest tree in the yard. I wonder how tall this is. She started to climb when Zaso came running into the clearing.

"Anonymous. Let me come too. There's a tree house somewhere up there that my dad built." "Alright, but hurry." and she started to climb once more. Man she can climb fast. Thought Zaso when he got to the base of the tree. Anonymous was already about half a mile up the tree. Zaso started climbing. After an hour or so they made it to the tree house. Anonymous was already in there when Zaso got there. She was staring out of the window, the sun was playing in her hair and it was full of leaves and small twigs. She's so beautiful. Zaso stood there staring until Anonymous turned around. There was a smile playing on her lips.

"Why you're a peeping tom." Anonymous bursted out laughing, Zaso blushed. He went and stood next to Anonymous, who was quietly giggling. She leaned out of the window.

"Your father built this hmm?"

"Ya. It was one of the last things he did before he disappeared."

"I don't remember my parents." Anonymous looked like she was about to cry. Zaso reached for her hand and she took it.

"Is that why you don't like being around people?"

"No. That's a different story." She leaned her head on his shoulder. They sat there and watched the sun set. How did this happen? How did I get to this point? Then, suddenly, Zaso could feel Anonymous's head moving to face his. He started to turn to face her also. "Zaso." "Anonymous." then they kissed. It was the most wonderful thing Zaso ever felt. The next thing he knew was that he had Anonymous in his arms, kissing her over and over. All he could think about was how much he wanted her, how much he needed her. Anonymous pulled her face from Zaso's. She looked terrified.

"What is it?"

"I shouldn't be doing this." she pulled away from him and went to the middle of the room, her back was to him. What did I do? Zaso walked over and placed his hand on her shoulder. Anonymous turned to face him. Tears were streaming down her face.

"Did I do something? Was it me?"

"No." she whispered, "I made a promise."

"To whom?"

"I can't tell you that."

"Why can't you?"

"Promises."

"What was the promes?"

"It was to not lose my heart. For if I do... well, it wouldn't be good." She looked down at her shoes.

"What if I give you my heart?"

Anonymous was silent for a minute then she said "I would try to keep it safe."

"Then I will give you mine. So you won't have to lose yours." Zaso smiled. Anonymous's face seemed to brighten a little. Zaso placed his hand over his chest. Slowly a heart aperd. It was on a chain so Anonymous could keep it around her neck.

"Thank you, Zaso. I shall treasure it forever." she said, he started blushing.

"We should start heading back. Were probably being missed."

"Race you down!"
