I've been getting some of questions about Anonymous from some readers that I'll be happy to answer here for your amusement!!!

Thanks so much to those who wanted to get to know the story a bit more~ That means a lot to me!

Anyways, here are some common questions I've received from readers:

Why did you name the Rockruff/Lycanroc Anonymous?

To be honest, I had no symbolic means of naming our Rockruff/Lycanroc friend at first. Upon completion of the story, however, I guess his name represents the blank canvas he is for someone to shape into a new personality, such that Shin was able to allow color into Anonymous' life by showing him Alola and Elizer shaped Anonymous into a killing, mutating machine.

Was Sherry (a relationship between Shin and Terry) planned?

I have to admit, at first, Terry served as the human sidekick for Shin at his adult stage in life. I wanted him to have a contrast to Shin, for example, while Shin was somewhat reserved and reacts to emotions by hiding them from others, Terry is outgoing, wild, and allows his emotions to be expressed despite any brashness. Then I thought: Hey! That's kind of a cute couple trope... I might use that for a future book.... BUT WAIT, A CHANCE FOR AN LGBT RELATIONSHIP?! SIGN ME UP! I was happy a got to write my first same-sex couple in one of my stories, even if it was just a subplot. All in all, it's so cute that Shin and Terry could become more than just friends in the end~

Also, just a fun fact...
There was some alternate dialogue that could have been put at the end of chapter 13 when Shin made his promise to Terry. It went something like this:

Shin: If you could do me one thing, possibly

Terry: God, what?

Shin: *Finger on Terry's lip* Promise me... we'll continue where we left off when I get back.

A bit more bold, yeah? Unfortunately I was running out of time and it didn't really fit with the mood of the scene, so I left it out... What do you guys think? Should I have kept it???

How long did this writing process take?

One thing you need to know about me is that I'm a procrastinator. I began planning for this story all throughout late 2017 and early-mid 2018, then stopped. Granted, I did write the prologue, and chapters 1 and 2 already, I only made an outline and character sheets for myself. Basically, the outline was my go-to sheet when I was lost in the plot. (I sometimes veered away from it if the story called for it, but I generally followed the same plan)

The actual writing process took about 2 3/4 months to compete working back to back nights (Oof). It was hell, but I was very happy with the results of constant midnight writing!

What inspired you to make this story?

I can't recall anything specifically inspiring me to make this story. However, I will tell you that a lot of these characters were inspired off of different things in my life. For example, Anonymous was modeled after my own dog, who I remember was scared of everything when she was little, but I soon found that she adapted quickly to her environment and became such a headstrong individual— still with the littlest bit of naivety in her. Shin was based off of a lot of things, some most notably are Haru from Free! (Mostly the look of him), Clementine from Telltale's The Walking Dead (for kid Shin), and I guess multiple experiences in my life that I had to go through! Terry was self-explanatory— name literally any fiery tsundere character ever— but the main basis of his looks were from Hinata from Haikuu!!

Another fun fact!
Jaderine was created by a good friend of mine in real life! Thank you to her for giving me this... uh... lusty character~ :)

So... Shin lost his arm?!

Yup, he sure did, and it was symbolic at that fact. I saw it as atonement for what he did to separate him and Anonymous, but more importantly to show his transformation from his past ideals to his more confident and current ones. I kind of think of it like— AND SPOILERS FOR ADVENTURE TIME— how Finn lost his arm; he lost his innocence as well. I mean, also imagine Shin with a cool badass prosthetic arm in the future! Pretty rad if I do say so myself.

What are Shin and Terry's plans after the events of this story?

Use your imagination. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Was the media in this story drawn/made by you?

Yup! Drawn on my new Wacom on Clip Studio Paint! I think you can decipher who it is in each of the pictures. I will be updating these in the future to make them a bit cleaner...

What about dusk form?

Well, when I finalized the plot of this story, dusk form was not a thing (yeah so a while lol). When it came out, it was way too late to incorporate a whole new form in the story, so I just settled on midday and midnight form in the end. I guess it all worked out too!

Will you be making a sequel?
