NO ONES POV

Lily and Maddie have been friends since kindergarten and EVERYONE knows that they are inseparable. Now they are in High School and are both about to turn 16. They are 2 of the 4 people to ever have a serious relationship which is a shame because nearly all the guys think they are cute or hot. 

This particular day though Maddie was sprinting to school to tell Lily some HUGE news. She bounded up the steps of the school and looked around. She saw Logan and he gave a quick wave, along with a look that clearly said "Have you told her". Maddie shook her head and kept looking for her bestie.

After looking around for 5 minutes, Maddie started to worry. Lily was usually early. What the heck is going on. It was only then when Lily jumped out of her parents car and waved goodbye as they drove away. "LILY! LILY! LILY! LILY!-" "OMG WHAT??!?!"Lily shouted. This wasn't unusual for Maddie to do and she knew how to handle it.

"I HAVE THE BIGGEST NEWS!!!" Maddie exclaimed. Lily looked at her puzzled. It was only yesterday since she had seen Maddie last. What on earth could've happened in 17 hours? (I actually counted on my fingers) "You know how we have been hanging with Logan and Daniel lately?" Maddie questioned

"Yes..."

"And you know how I have been hanging with Logan a bit out of school recently?"

"Yes..." Where was she going with this??

" So after school yesterday, Logan invited me to the park that afternoon right..?"

"Ok...." CMON MADDIE SPILL IT

"He asked me to be his girlfriend."

Lily gasped and then started screaming in joy. They grabbed each other by the shoulders and started jumping in the air, earning a few weird looks in the process. 'Two of my friends are gonna be a couple!! WAIT what would the ship name be?' 

Like it was practiced, Logan walked over to them, followed by Daniel. Logan wrapped his arm around Maddie. It was offical. So offical, Lily started to tear up. "Oh c'mon Lily. Don't become a waterfall now!" teased Maddie.

Daniel's POV

Lily giggled as she wiped her soft tears. That heavenly sounding giggle. She slowly stopped and smiled at the sight of the new couple. In her defence, they looked good together. The bell rang and we all left to go to class. 

Because Logan wanted to sit with Maddie, I was forced to sit with Lily. The girl who just about every guy asked out. Who every guy thought was hot. I could instantly feel the sweat drip from my forehead. Why was she so damn cute. All I could think about was smashing my lips against her's. But I doubt she even cared about me. 

The entire day flew by and before I knew it, we were all standing outside. I was thinking about nothing and everything when those meaningless thoughts were interrupting by Lily.

"Sorry guys, I gotta go home. I have a lot of homework to do and I have a babysitting job soon. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Ok, see ya later Lily!" Maddie waved

"Adios Lily" Logan said

"uh..uh.. BYE LILY SEE YOU TOMORROW!" I shouted

She gave me a weird look. I groaned. Im so stupid. The lovebirds chuckled. Logan spoke up.

"Hey dude, I realised I don't have your number. Care to lend it?" (IM SORRY IF THAT SOUNDS LIKE A PICK UP LINE!!)

"Uh ok. Can I have a pen?" I asked while I ripped out a page in one of my exercise books.

"OH I HAVE ONE!" Maddie shouted as she threw off her bag and started rummaging in it.

She handed me the pen and I wrote down my number on the paper. It was then when the wind picked up and snatched the paper out of my hand and into the evening sky. I groaned again. This really wasn't my day. I ripped yet another page out and wrote my number again. I handed it to Logan and we all left after saying our goodbyes. I wonder what Lily is up to.

Lily's POV

I was halfway home when a paper smacked in my face. "ACK!!" I peeled in off and read what had been written. 

'Daniel's No.       012 345 6789'

Oh my god. This reminds me of something I read on wattpad. I should text him but not tell him who I am. That way I can learn more about him. 

Lets do this.
