Anomaly Extraction Organization.-By Che
(Foreword: Hello everyone, I will make this quick. The SCP foundation heavily inspires this book and will have similar themes and easter eggs, if you don't know anything about what I am talking about I suggest you look it up...enjoy.)
Prologue
[April 17th, 2024, at 1:22 PM]
(Unknown): It's recording please state your name for the record.
(Alvis): My name is Alvis Henriksen.
(Unknown): Nationality?
(Alvis): Norwegian.
(Unknown): Age and birthdate, time of birth too if you know it.
(Alvis): I'm 41, My birthdate is April 9, 1983, at 12:24 AM.
(Unknown): Ok. Height, Weight, Blood type, and are you right-handed or left-handed?
(Alvis): 6 ft 2 in, 180 lbs, B+ blood, and I am right-handed.
(Unknown): Okay, Alvis. I'm looking through your documentation here. Your background check and mental evaluation came through, so you're all good to go. Welcome to the organization.
It was a relief. They finally let me into their organization. As long as I can keep my head down and follow orders, I can find out what happened to my sister and where she is. But the first hurdle is getting into the facility.
Pulling out the pamphlet and looking it over I narrow my eyes, "Hmm. Site-74? I wonder how many Sites there are" I mumble out as the interview door opens. A scientist with a slender build, porcelain skin, piercing emerald eyes, short-cropped red hair, and a pristine lab coat enters the room,
"That would be 96 as of now, 96 state-of-the-art facilities," she says in a gruff cold voice.
"I'm Dr. Luminara Castellanos and I assume you're Dr. Alvis Henriksen?" she asks, extending her hand as she shakes mine. Before I can respond she cuts me off,
"Great, Let's get you to Site-74. It's about a 3-hour drive from here." She pulls out a syringe and stabs me in the neck with a swift jab.
"Due to security reasons you must be unconscious for the drive, see you in 3 hours." she smiles as I black out.
Chapter 1.
Site-74
As I awaken I rub my eyes and stare up at the massive facility, the sight of its darkened steel and cold colors chill me to the bone as I collect myself I see a scientist approach me waving. I stare at him taking in his features, a tall man with sun-kissed skin, hollow black eyes, greasy black hair reaching down to his shoulders, and a thick mustache, as he gets closer he calls out,
"Hey! You must be Dr. Henriksen! The new scientist right?" he smiles as he gets right up to me and pulls me in for a hug.
"Woah, uh yeah that's me, Alvis Henriksen. And you are?" I ask pulling away from the hug.
"Oh, how rude of me! I am Site Director Luis Vacktermen but everyone just calls me Lu." he smiles and pats me on the back,
"Come on, I'll show you around, " he says, leading me into the facility. We pass dozens of security guards and safety procedures.
"So, tell me what you know about the Organization," Lu says looking at me as we go through some metal detectors.
"Well I know that the official name is the Anomaly Extraction Organization, commonly referred to as the A.E.O. or just the Organization, I know you guys collect the strange and supernatural keeping it from the prying eyes of the public, but that's about it," I say nodding and looking at him. The truth is I think you all are deranged psychopaths who kidnap innocent people and create weapons of mass destruction without consent from any military or government. I smile thinking that and he gives me a thumbs-up and continues,
"Right, so basically, the Anomalies we keep are underground, and the rest of the floors above us are residential spaces. You're assigned to floor 7, unit 12. After you get dressed and grab your keycard, you can meet me back down here, and I'll take you underground." Lu says
I nod and grab the keycard he hands me, stepping into the elevator and swiping the keycard pressing floor 7, and waiting. As the elevator reaches floor 7 I step off and walk to unit 12 I see guards patrolling the hallway and one stops and looks at me,
"Authorization?" She asks, looking me up and down.
"Sorry, I'm new here, I don't have anything except my keycard," I respond sheepishly.
She smiles and chuckles, "Fresh meat huh? Yeah your keycard is your authorization, each one is custom-made for the employees. Just hand yours over and I can swipe it on my reader." she holds her hand out expectantly and I hand over my keycard.
"Alright, Dr. Alvis Henriksen, you're authorized to be on this level carry on." she nods and hands back my keycard.
"Uh, thanks... I never caught your name." I say looking at her.
"My name is Luna, nice to meet you Dr. Henriksen." she smiles
"Alvis is fine" I smile back and stare at her before snapping back to reality,
"Well, I should be going have a nice day Luna." I walk away and wave.
"Bye, Alvis" she hums and walks off.
I walk up to unit 12 and swipe my keycard, a few seconds go by and it chimes and swings open, stepping into the room I immediately am startled, other than a bed and a desk there is nothing else in the room, not even a chair for the desk. The white concrete walls and lack of windows made for a very uninviting atmosphere. The hell? What is with this place, it seems like a prison I think to myself, and hear a voice behind me.
"I bet you're thinking this place seems like a prison huh?" A feminine voice calls out.
I turn and see another scientist, she has a lithe build, with long auburn hair pulled back in a sleek ponytail that highlights her sharp cheekbones. Her emerald green eyes sparkle with intelligence and determination,
"Guilty as charged," I say laughing nervously.
She smiles and steps into my room extending her hand, "I'm Dr. Elara Quinn, I specialize in Molecular Biology here at the Organization. You can call me Elara." She firmly shakes my hand and looks at me.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Dr. Alvis Henriksen and yeah, call me Alvis." I nod and look around at my room again.
"You know, it won't kill you to decorate your room at all. There are shipments here every Friday, so if you put in your request, they'll ship any furniture here," she says, letting go of my hand and watching as I sling my lab coat on.
"Thanks for the heads-up, I have to get back downstairs before Luis chews me out for taking too much time, it was nice meeting you Elara!" I grin and walk away as she smiles and giggles,
"Bye-Bye, Alvis" she watches as I get into the elevator and descend.
When I get to Floor 1 Lu steps in and nods,
"All set?" he asks and I nod as he swipes his keycard and hits Floor 0.
I look at the buttons and it seems to go down to Floor -6, each of them marked with symbols I don't quite understand yet but I decide not to ask.
The elevator reaches Floor 0 and it opens to a large underground hub, researchers and guards swarm the floor. Large white marble walls and floor covering as far as the eyes can see. In front of us guards stand and check our authorization before we continue in.
"This is the Hub, it's where you'll get new tasks and research groups. There are only three things in the hub that you'll need to know about; the Cafeteria, the Boardroom, and the Mission Center. The first two are self-explanatory, you eat in the Cafe and you're summoned to meetings in the boardroom. Oh, that reminds me." He hands me a walkie-talkie as we walk. It looks heavily modified.
"So that is an Extra-Dimensional Open-Broadcasting Device, just call it an EOD everyone else does. Basically, it lets you communicate across dimensions and any frequency, And yes I said dimensions, we'll get there eventually," he says not giving me time to respond instead, he heads right into Mission Center and I follow close behind.
"Morning Avery," Lu says walking into Mission Center, I look down at a girl with an athletic build honed from years of working in a workshop. She sports short, tousled auburn hair speckled with grease and tied up in a messy bun. Her bright orange eyes are framed by protective goggles resting atop her head. Avery's wardrobe consists of durable overalls and well-worn sneakers, making her the epitome of a modern tomboy. She catches me staring and raises an eyebrow.
"Want a picture, pretty boy?" she says sarcastically.
"Sorry no ma'am," I say flustered, and look away, Lu laughs and pats me on the back.
"Come now Avery, Alvis here is new. Cut him some slack would you?" he smirks and looks at me.
"So. Avery here is our lead engineer, and she maintains the Mission Center, anytime you have an assignment come to her and she'll help you. For your first assignment, I'll take you down through the floors." Lu waves bye to Avery and walks me back to the elevator.
"Now, before we start, I need to explain the anomalies here. As you know, we collect things that are determined to be deviating from what is standard, normal, or expected. Hence, they are referred to as Anomalies. I've printed out some sheets for you here; look them over." He smiles and hands them to me, pressing Floor -1 as he does so.
The pages are as follows:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anomalies(Notes)
Identification/Classification: There are 4 types of identification for each Anomaly, Risk classification, Disruption classification, Containment classification, and X classification.
Risk Classification: Risk Classifications are how deadly Anomalies are:
Empty: The Anomaly poses no risk to anyone near it and interacting with it.
Caution: The Anomaly poses moderate harm to those interacting with it.
Warning: The Anomaly poses moderate harm to those interacting with and near the Anomaly.
Danger: The Anomaly poses severe harm to those interacting with the subject.
Extreme Danger: The Anomaly poses severe harm to those interacting with or near the Anomaly.
Devastating: The Anomaly poses life-threatening harm to those interacting with the Anomaly.
Catastrophic: The Anomaly poses life-threatening harm to those interacting with and around the Anomaly.
Disruption Classification: Disruption Classifications are how much the anomaly can disrupt the general populace.
Closed: No disruption can be caused by the Anomaly.
Peaked: Disruption is easy to handle, usually just a group of people.
Open: Disruption is a little bit more difficult to handle, usually just in a small town or village.
Wide: Disruption is difficult to handle, often a whole city and/or surrounding area.
Cosmic: Disruption is impossible to handle, with the potential to become worldwide.
Containment Classification: Containment Classification is how easy it is to contain the anomaly.
Cold: Easy to contain, if left alone it won't break out.
Warm: Harder to contain, if left alone it might break out.
Hot: Almost impossible to contain, if left alone it will break out.
Extremely Hot: Completely impossible to contain, no effort to contain it will be successful.
Cooling: This Anomaly can be used to contain other Anomalies.
X-Classifications: In special cases, some anomalies can end the world as we know it, these are the classifications to look out for.
X-X: End of the world scenario.
X-R: End of reality scenario.
X-K: End of time scenario.
X-O: End of diversity scenario.
X-T: End of all life scenario.
X-S: End of everything scenario.
X-V: No special X-Classification
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As I stare at the information, Lu hands me another paper,
"This one is the skeleton we use for mapping out the anomalies on paper. It'll make more sense as you continue to read. Please take your time.

I nod as I look at these notes and then look at Lu.
"Okay, I understand, so how do you catalog them?" I ask as we reach Floor -1.
"Well, it's simple. We catalog based on Containment Classifications, Cold Anomalies are kept on Floor -1, Warm Anomalies are kept on Floor -2, Hot Anomalies are kept on Floor -3, Extremely Hot Anomalies are kept on Floor -4, and Cooling Anomalies are kept on Floor -5." he unloads all this information on me but then I think of Floor -6.
"Wait, what about Floor -6?" I ask and Lu hesitates for a moment before clearing his throat.
"It's just storage. Come on time to show you around." He brushes off my questions and walks off onto Floor -1. He's lying about Floor -6. Maybe a clue about my sister is down there. Alright, Alvis, you can do this. I take a deep breath and exit the elevator onto Floor -1.

Chapter 2.
Lower Floors
Stepping off the elevator with Lu, almost instantly stepping into loose paper, in the room is a desk with paperwork overflowing off the table, Lu looks over the paper and clears his throat,
"Uh, Jamie?" he says a bit loudly.
Suddenly I hear a yelp and a person with unkempt, shoulder-length chestnut hair pulled back in a messy bun, leading to stray strands framing their sharp-featured face. Their hazel eyes shine with curiosity behind thick-rimmed glasses. Their lab coat is messy and worn, they look up and smile.
"Hey! You're the new guy, right? I'm Jamie!" they say shaking my hand vigorously as they look over at Lu and speak before I even have a chance to respond.
"Hey Lu! Come to take some work off my hand?" they ask pleading for the chance to get some work off their desk.
"No, no Jamie I'm afraid I won't be here long. Just showing Dr. Henriksen around carry on," Lu says and turns to me.
"Let's go, they have a lot of work to do. Follow me." Lu says as we walk away from Jamie and they wave me goodbye. I smile and wave back before Lu stops and turns to me with a neutral expression.
"So you're getting friendly with all the staff I see that's good" he nods to himself and I speak up.
"Yeah, everyone here is so nice" I chuckle and then he slams me against the wall with a dark foreboding expression.
"Relationships in this facility are strictly forbidden, most people are friendly, yes but if you betray my trust you'll find out very quickly how dark this facility can be. Do I make myself clear Dr. Alvis Henriksen?" he says sternly staring me down with pure malice.
"Crystal clear, Luis," I say shakenly tensing up and he nods.
"Just Lu" his smile returns and lets me go. "Anyway, so this floor contains all relevant information about Cold Class Anomalies. Here I'll show you one as an example." he smiles and walks up to a doorway, pulls out a clipboard, and hands it to me, as I look it over.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Item: #005
Codename: (Scorching Toaster)
Risk: Danger
Disruption: Peaked
Containment Level: Cold
X-Classifications: X-V
Containment Procedures: 005 is to be kept in a standard locked room, as of now it's currently being held at Site-74 on floor -1, the room it's held in is 20ft by 20ft. The room has a single outlet to plug 005 in and the room is equipped with sprinkler systems as well as foam dispensers. 005 is to remain unplugged while not being tested.
Description: 005 is a standard toaster oven that has no unique markings or any visible manufacturing information. The anomalous ability of 005 becomes clear when it's plugged into any socket that has electricity. 005 has two settings, "Toast" and "Scorch". The Toast setting creates the perfect piece of toast relative to the person who put the bread in. The Scorch setting cooks the bread at 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit, standing within 10ft of 005 when this setting is used causing the person or persons to incinerate instantly. The temperature annihilates the bread but causes no damage to 005 itself.
Addendum: None to note.
Test Logs: [For testing, a Class 0 Subject was told to use 005's Scorch setting. This caused them to be annihilated and testing was concluded.]
Interview Logs: N/A
Termination Logs: No attempts to terminate 005 have been made.
Kill Count: X+3(X being the number of people who died before it was contained.)
Additional Notes: "It's a toaster that cooks a perfect toast or as hot as the sun so that's all that can be said. This one isn't very useful." -Site Director Luis Vacktermen.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I stop reading it and look at Lu,
"Well hot damn. Oh, pun not intended, that's pretty crazy stuff" I chuckle and hand it back feeling relieved Luis is back to normal.
"Well, we don't have to go into the chamber. But you get the general idea right?" Lu puts the clipboard back and walks to the elevator passing by Jamie again. As we pass them, they look up at me and smile again. Before I can smile back Luis shoots them a death glare and they stare down at the floor and Lu opens the elevator.
"Okay, onto Floor -2," Lu says pressing the button but still glaring at me.
Is he really going to stare at me like that this entire time, I didn't even do anything what's his problem? I think to myself as the elevator descends by one level and it chimes.
"Moving on, so on every negative floor there's a floor supervisor, You already met the first one, Dr. Jamie Kline, they're very dedicated to their work. On this floor we have Marcus" Lu says stepping out of the elevator, standing in front of the door was a man with a lean, athletic build, short, neatly combed dark brown hair peppered with strands of gray, and deep-set blue eyes. Clad in a white lab coat over a navy blue collared shirt, charcoal slacks, and well-worn leather shoes, a pair of stylish, thin-rimmed glasses sit slightly askew on his nose. He adjusts his glasses and nods to me extending his hand.
"Ah, Dr.Henriksen nice to formally meet you. I am Dr. Jones, I handle a lot of psychological effects that anomalies have on individuals and look over the mental conditions of the Class 0 Subjects," he says while shaking my hand.
"Class 0 subjects?" I chime in but Lu then interrupts me,
"We'll discuss that when the time comes, alright not much to show you on this level, just this is where we keep Warm Class Anomalies, let's go to Floor -3," Lu says walking back into the elevator and descending another level while checking his watch looking impatient. I look over.
"In a rush?" I ask Lu as he keeps checking his watch and nods while frowning.
"Yeah, one of the 11 council members is coming here in an hour, the council members are the ones in charge of the entire A.E.O. So yeah, big deal," he says a little nervously as we reach Floor -3.
"Oh okay, well just this floor and two more right? Then you can go to that meeting Lu." I say hoping to cheer him up and he nods.
"Well, you're coming too," he says looking at me and walking onto Floor -3. I gulp and nod following after him.
"Floor -3 is where Hot Class Anomalies are and this here is Dr. Daniel Mercer," Lu says as a man with an average build stands up, his close-cropped brown hair is streaked with gray, suggesting the stress of his work. He sports a well-groomed beard that frames his sharp jawline. Dr. Mercer wears a fitted lab coat over a pale green shirt and black trousers, accessorized with meticulously polished boots. His amber eyes, hang heavy with stress. He speaks in a gruff tone.
"Hey, I'd shake your hand but I'm a germophobe," he says clearly not joking, I'm about to speak up but Lu pushes me back into the elevator and we descend to Floor -4. It seems he's more and more hurried.
"Okay, we'll knock these out quick. Floor -4 is where we keep documents and all information about Extremely Hot Class Anomalies since we can't contain them." Lu says and the doors open this time he doesn't even step out he just points to the girl in charge of this floor. I look over and see a girl with an average build. Her hair, a deep chestnut brown, is typically pulled back in a sleek ponytail, accentuating angular cheekbones and a thin, defined jawline. Her skin bears the faintest trace of freckles across her nose, softening her otherwise intense demeanor. The most striking feature, however, is her eyes—seemingly black, they absorb light, making them appear otherworldly.
We both make eye contact but before I can say anything Lu closes the doors and presses Floor -5 checking his watch again and tapping his foot impatiently.
"So that was Dr. Neriah Major," he states as the elevator reaches Floor -5 and he points again and says,
"This is where we keep Cooling Class Anomalies and that right there is Dr. Felix Darnell," Lu says and I look quickly before he closes the doors, seeing a man with a slightly unkempt demeanor, His grey eyes, sharp and observant, he has short, tousled brown hair that sticks out in random directions, and he wears a standard-issue lab coat with a faded wristwatch.
Lu closes the doors and hits Floor 0, as we ascend to the Hub.
"I thought we had plenty of time?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"She expects you to be there at least 30 minutes early come on it's time for you to meet your first Council member." he chuckles nervously and walks with me to the board room. There, sitting at the frontmost chair, a woman exuding an air of unsettling charms. Her striking emerald-green eyes seem to pierce through my very soul she has the darkest black hair that cascades down her shoulders in waves. Well over 6 feet tall, she maintains a commanding presence with a lithe build. Dressed in a sharply tailored black suit accented by a touch of red.
She glares at us and stands up, towering over even me. With her heels, she might even be closer to 7 feet tall. I start shaking and I think to myself, Is this girl even human? Can a person even have an aura this terrifying? She snaps her head to me and narrows her eyes before speaking in a commanding but elegant voice.
"Yes, I am human and yes I can read thoughts, You have a lot to learn Alvis Henriksen. I am Dr. Isabelle Vorin," she speaks down to me and I shake with fear knowing I bit off way more than I could chew getting into this organization.
GET TO KNOW THEM!!!
