Chapter 83: SCP-5000 "Why?"

Here we see you at Site-62C where you are at SCP-579's containment chamber and you see Dr. Patience and Dr. Clef in there and you walk in and you see the suit or SCP-5000.

(Y/N): "What is it?"

Dr. Patience: "It appeared in a flash of light, we don't know how it got here or why it's here."

Dr. Clef: "How about we open her up and see who's home?"

(Y/N): "Hang on, we don't know if it's hostile or not."

Dr. Patience: "It hasn't moved an inch since it got here. Let's just get it to a lab so we can open it up."

(Y/N): "Alright."*talks on the radio*"Cory, Ruby, get over here. We need to carry something to a lab."

We see Cory and Ruby arrive at the scene and they see SCP-5000.

Dr. Patience: "Cory, Ruby, help (Y/N) transport SCP-5000 to the lab so we can open it up."

Cory: "Wait, what's SCP-5000?"

Dr. Clef: "The darn suit on the floor right here, put that camera of a face of yours in focus and get to work."

(Y/N): "Ruby grab an arm, Cory grab the ankles."

Cory: "Why am I getting the heavy part?"

(Y/N): "Cause the upper body looks heavy enough to require two people. Now come on."

Sometime later, in a lab, we see the suit open up and you all see a corpse in it.

Cory: "Should we test for DNA?"

(Y/N): "This man is Pietro Wilson, but from a different time because I was at Exclusionary Site-06 last week and talked to Pietro myself."

Cory: "So what's he doing here? And why?"

(Y/N): "Let's get a look at the suit's files."

Dr. Patience: "I'll get a computer setup."

We see Dr. Patience set up a computer and he connected the computer up with SCP-5000.

Dr. Patience: "It says here it has entries made by Pietro Wilson."

(Y/N): "Use SCP-5000 as a speaker."

SCP-5000: *in the voice of Pietro Wilson* "My name is Pietro Wilson. I don't know what's happening. I think I might be the only one left. The date is um oh two oh one twenty twenty (sorry thought transcription is tricky (sorry i'm not used to this yet um)). The date is 02/01/2020. I've just. I have just escaped from Exclusionary Site-06. I think ... I'm not certain, but I think everyone else is dead. Those guys, they were thorough. If I hadn't got to the suit, I'd be ... oh god."

Dr. Patience: "That was the first entry."

SCP-5000 *in the voice of Pietro Wilson*"Their....leader.....(Y/N) Cranston.....I can't believe he would do this."

Everyone in the room then turned to you as you were surprised by this.

(Y/N): "Something tells me that I won't like where this is going."

Dr. Patience: "Here's another entry."*plays the entry*

SCP-5000: *in the voice of Pietro*"I need to get myself together or this thing isn't going to be legible at all. Most likely they're going to want some kind of record of this whole incident for posterity. I'm currently on my way to the nearest Foundation installation - a small safe-house for Agents making their way through this part of the country. Most likely there won't be anyone there, but I should be able to get into contact with my superiors and find out what exactly is going on. Things started around six, maybe seven hours ago. A group identifying themselves as Mobile Task Force Zeta-19 ("Lonely Only") - Insurgent infiltrators, maybe? - entered the Site, they had proper identification and everything, and gathered everyone into the canteen. Then they started the shooting. Jesus, I ... I can still taste the blood. I can't get that awful metal taste off my tongue. It's a miracle I didn't get hit or trampled on, the way people were climbing over each other to get out of there. If I hadn't gotten to the Exclusion Harness, I'd be dead. No doubt about it - like I said, they were thorough. I'm a technician for the power grid on ES-06, so I don't fully get how this thing works, but I understand the basics. This perception filter thing doesn't mean people can't see me, but it does mean they can't recognize the fact that they can see me. Which I guess is the same thing when you get down to it. But those infiltrators ... they didn't even take anything, didn't even try to. I watched after I got into this thing - I was too scared (fucking coward) to make a run for it. They just checked the bodies and left. An extra bullet for every head. They were just there to kill us."

(Y/N): "MTF Zeta 19 'Lonely Only', I may be part of every MTF team but not this one."

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"(Y/N), he's their leader of the MTF! Why would he do this?!"

Cory: "(Y/N) how could you!?"

(Y/N): "I always have a reason with my actions in the Foundation, you all know that. Just wait until all questions are answered in the end."

Ruby: "We want to know for sure why you would do this."

Dr. Patience: "Playing the next entry now."

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"Finally made it to the safe-house after hours and hours of trudging through this goddamn desert. Heard a few explosions in the distance - maybe the Foundation sent an MTF to engage those infiltrators before they got away? Hope so. Never been happier to see bottled water in my life. The Harness sustains your body while you're wearing it, apparently, but my mind still thinks I should be drinking. Human nature, I guess. Anyway, once I get these legs of mine rested, I'm going to try to get these systems online. I need to get in touch with the Foundation and find out what exactly is going on."

(Y/N): "Hmm, okay and is there anything else?"

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"(Y/N) Cranston is the best SCP Operative in the Foundation, what is he doing?"

Dr. Patience: "There's a recorded message in a downloaded file, it's from the Foundation itself."

(Y/N): "Who is the messenger?"

Dr. Patience: "Uhh....maybe you should hear it yourself."

Dr. Patience then plays the file as you and the others were shocked to hear your voice speaking the message.

SCP-5000: *in your voice*"The following is a message composed via consensus of the O5 Council. For those who are not currently aware of our existence, we represent the organization known as the SCP Foundation. Our previous mission centered around the containment and study of anomalous objects, entities and other assorted phenomena. This mission was the focus of our organization for more than one-hundred years. Due to circumstances outside of our control, this directive has now changed. Our new mission will be the extermination of the human race. There will be no further communication."

Ruby: "Okay are you secretly a supervillain or something?"

(Y/N): "Not sure, either I made a pact with a god or a deal with the devil."

Dr. Patience: *reads a composed file*"After that broadcast, the SCP Foundation began their assault on mankind. They displaced SCP-096's face on every screen on the planet, nuclear charges on SCP-169 were detonated and disturbed it's sleep and caused Earthquakes and tsunamis on coastal settlements, Mr. Deeds was used as an assassin to kill the major world leaders, samples of SCP-610 were dispersed via embedded foundation agents within major cities such as Chicago, Beijing, New York, and Delhi. As for SCP-682, (Y/N) was riding him like you two were buddies."*to you*"I knew you two would be good friends but never like this."

(Y/N): "What else was in the file?"

Dr. Patience: *reads the file*"Uh...it appears you brought help and enemies from other worlds, you brought in Homelander and Omni-man to help in the human extermination. Along with Avengers like Iron Man, Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Dr. Strange while the other Avengers like Black Panther, Captain America, Captain Marvel, and other heroes like Invincible and the Guardians of the Globe tried to join the fight to save humanity but they failed. Watch the video."

Dr. Patience then plays the video and we see a battle between heroes and we see you coming up with a strategy to take down the Immortal and Captain Marvel.

Video: *your voice*"Captain Marvel only absorbs energy not nullifies it, we need to overload her body!"*War Machine's voice*"That's the plan?!"*your voice*"Yep!"

We see heroes like Omni-man and Spider-Man restrain Captain Marvel and we see Iron Man deploy restraints that restricts Captain Marvel's movements and then Vision, Dr. Strange, Iron Man, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Homelander, and Vision unleash all of their energy based attacks on Captain Marvel as she then explodes due to a power overload as the Immortal flies to you and you see him.

Video: *Immortal's voice*"You bastard!! Ugh!"*your voice*"I got a silver bullet for you!"

You then shoot a tranquilizer dart at the Immortal's neck as his skin feels like it's burning.

Video: *Immortal's voice*"You think you will kill me with acid!?!"*your voice*"Guess again!"

You and the others then see the Immortal turn into a zombie and we see Vision fire a laser at the Immortal's head and kill him instantly.

Video: *your voice*"The Hunger Virus from Earth-2149, l put the virus through SCP-914 on the Very Fine setting and make it a silver bullet for men like you Immortal."

Cory: "Woah, (Y/N) you were a badass. An evil badass but a badass nonetheless."

Dr. Celf: "Welp I knew you had it in ya kid, guess you are GOC material after all. Even if you were just killing innocent people."

(Y/N): "Thanks."

Dr. Patience: "Here's another downloaded file."

SCP-5000: *Reporter Maria Henderson is speaking from inside a GOC evacuation tent. Scrolling header indicates that she is speaking the outskirts of Trosa, Sweden. Behind her, patients can be seen being treated by doctors in full protective gear. Maria herself is wearing a surgical mask, pulled up slightly to allow her to speak into the microphone - which kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me.**Maria Henderson's voice*"Repeating what has previously been put out by the Global Occult Coalition, residents that have not already evacuated are advised to seal themselves inside their homes as quickly as possible using whatever materials are available."*One of the doctors attending a patient stands up with urgency, looking over to a soldier standing over the beds.**Doctor's voice*"We've got expiration! Get the eraser ready!"*Maria Henderson quickly begins moving out of the tent, out into a field filled with similar installations. A loud buzzing sound can be heard from the tent behind her, and several flashing lights can be seen. Thick smoke pours out a gap in the top of the tent.**Maria Henderson's voice*"Any individuals still, um, still in a compromised area are advised to keep careful watch over those around them. If any friends or family members begin, um, sorry, yes, begin exuding a noticeable, uh, minty smell, they are to be quarantined immediately -"*Feed cuts out. I later found out this is when television stopped everywhere. Internet, too. World went blind in a few seconds.*

(Y/N): "Huh, that is unfortunate. Is there another Journal Entry?"

Dr. Patience: "Here's another Journal Entry."

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"It's funny. With the supplies in this place - not to mention the Exclusion Harness - I could probably survive for years right here. But the idea of being sat here, with no idea what's going on in the outside world ... it's unbearable. Still, I'm not sure whether I really want to know what's happening out there either. When I was a kid - real sick all the time, not able to go out that much - I was really into detective stories, Sherlock Holmes and all that shit. I always wanted to figure things out. Anyway, my dad had this row of plant-pots on the wall outside the house, and they were always getting knocked over, but he could never figure out what was doing it. That was pretty much at my peak of detective obsession, so I was on the case like nothing else. I was a stupid shit, so I couldn't actually deduce anything, you understand, so I ended up buying this cheap spy camera and recording the wall overnight. It was a stray cat. My dad ended up kicking it to death, like I should have known he would. Curiosity ... well, you know the saying. Everyone involved would have been better off if I'd minded my own business. Except my dad, but fuck him. Damned if you do, damned if you don't, but I'd rather be doing something than nothing. Besides, if I have the Exclusion Harness, nothing that would want to hurt me will ever know I'm there. I'm a tourist at the end of the world. Destination: Site-19. Closest real Foundation installation, only makes sense. I'm getting some answers."

Dr. Patience: "There's another Recorded File, here it is."

Dr. Patience then plays the video and you all see a group of Foundation soldiers in a clearing from a distance - nine in total, standing in a line. A tenth soldier, the Commander (Y/N) Cranstom, is silently pacing back and forth in front of them. Uniforms and insignia look like those of MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots"). After a few seconds, the Commander claps her hands once and steps towards the line.

Video: *your voice*"Performing the check now."*Soldier 1's voice*"Understood."

You and the others watch yourself stabbing soldiers in the shoulder and none of them feel pain until the 8th one feels pain.

Video: *8th soldier's voice*"Gah!"*your voice*"Got a live one!"

You and the others watch the soldiers kill the 8th soldier.

Video: *Your voice*"Alright we're clear, let's move out."

You and the others watch the MTF Epsilon-6 team pack up their supplies and leave the area and leave the corpse of the dead soldier where it is as the video ends.

(Y/N): "Hmm, something tells me that the new requirement for the Village Idiots is no pain receptors is there for a good reason. Whatever the Foundation is trying to target must be something involving humans feeling pain."

Ruby: "Should we continue this tomorrow?"

(Y/N): "Hm, alright it's getting late anyways, we'll pick this up tomorrow."

Later, at home, we see you sit on the couch and we see Kyouka sit with you.

Kyouka: "Hey (Y/N) how's work?"

(Y/N): "Busy as usual, how's the social media life?"

Kyouka: "Pretty good, I actually got hold of those two futa idols, err well former idols, and they want me to be their ghostwriter for their bibliographies."

(Y/N): "So you're gonna be on their private cruise?"

Kyouka: "Yep, and don't worry I will bring a swimsuit and some protection just in case."

(Y/N): "Okay, just try not to go overboard."

Kyouka: "I won't."

We later see Kyouka with Riko and Mizuho on the cruise ship and she is writing their stories.

Riko: "And that is how we lost our virginities."

Kyouka: "So you both had sex with each other and your manager whored you both out in the second meet and greet when you were both idols?"

Riko: "Yeah... but then a miracle happened."

Flashback.

Here we see both Mizuho and Riko sitting down icing their balls after the first part of the greeting.

Manager: "You two made a mess today."

Riko and Mizuho saw how much they came on where the audience was.

Mizuho: "Oh we did."

Manager: "And we don't have money to clean up, so now it's on to the second part of the event."

The curtain opened up as it revealed to the audience of "fans" only they were men and pantless, indicating they wanted to have sex with Riko and Mizuho.

Riko: "What the..."

Yasuhiko: "It's the second part of the event! The audience will-"

???: "Excuse me?"

We then see Yasuhiko turn to see Kim Possible.

Mizuho and Riko: "Kim Possible Sama!"

Yasuhiko: "Kim Possible, what brings you here?"

Kim: "To stop whatever this is because you didn't pay any taxes for the past 10 weeks and you're under arrest for human trafficking."

Yasuhiko: "But-but-I'm not-"

Riko: "It's true! He hardly ever pays us! And is only using us for our penises!"

Kim: *sees their penises* "Woah... uh, okay wasn't expecting that, are you sure you covered women as a demographic as well?"

Riko: "No, just creepy men!"

Kim: *handcuffs Yasuhiko*"Okay that is so wrong." *to the audience of creepy guys* "And you guys! Seriously get a life, you creeps."

End of flashback

Kyouka: "Wow, so you were both saved by Kim Possible."

Mizuho: "Yeah and get this, she has a secret boyfriend too."

Kyouka: "She does?"

Riko: "Oh yeah, she didn't tell us his name but he's autistic, hunts monsters, he's a stickler to the rules but at the same time will break the rules if he's forced to, and he is amazing in bed."

Kyouka: *In her head* "Autistic? But the only autistic guy I know is..." *realizes* *in her head* "(Y/N)?"

Mizuho: "Is something wrong Kyouka?"

Kyouka: "Huh? Oh no, no nothing's wrong, so what have you two been doing now that you're both not idols?"

Riko: "Well we got the money our old manager owed us and now we just got into our early retirement."

Mizuho: "You don't have to leave when our book is done, you can stay as long as you want. There's enough room on this boat for the 3 of us."

Kyouka: "Really?"

Riko: "Yep, there's even an extra room on the cruise ship of ours."

Kyouka: "Thanks."

Mizuho: "Anytime."

Kyouka: *Notices that they're hard* "Oh uh, you girls are both hard."

Riko and Mizuho looked down and saw their cocks were hard.

Kyouka: "Well I used to be a prostitute, so maybe I can help you girls give you some entertainment while you're on your cruise in the vast ocean."

Riko: "We like that very much."

Meanwhile with you, we see you and the others are at Site-62C looking through SCP-5000's database.

Dr. Patience: "Here's a transmission from an old radio in the form of a recorded file."

(Y/N): "Play the recording."

File: *Starts playing * " Seven. Five. Can you hear me? There is a hole shining in the holes between your eyelids. I have never been to Versailles before. I want to be loved. Nine. I am standing behind you now. Five. I am two of us, standing behind you now. The goddess eats the city in the sea. Nine. There's a hole in the floor with an answer waiting in it. Seven. Look, you're hatching. You're hatching!"

Dr. Patience: "It seems the file is on a loop."

We then see Markiplier come into the room and he sees you and the others looking through SCP-5000's database.

Markiplier: "What's going on here?"

(Y/N): "We're going through SCP-5000's database, so far there's a lot of files of me killing a lot of people."

Markiplier: "(Y/N), my friend, I know you inside and out, you wouldn't kill people without a reason."

(Y/N): "True, but I don't even remember killing these people in the database of this suit."

Dr. Patience: "Here's another Journal Entry."

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"When I thought of Site-19 as being relatively close by, I never really took into account that was probably with a vehicle in mind. Can't risk cars or anything like that - even if I went unnoticed, the vehicle wouldn't. All it takes is one Foundation soldier or wandering anomaly to spot it and I'm as good as dead. But still, marching through the woods - even with the Harness' protection - isn't the most pleasant experience. It'd be hard to move out of the way if anything came traipsing through, for one. Just because things can't notice me doesn't mean they can't run me down. Gives me time to think, though. Like - why the hell am I even going to Site-19? What do I hope to accomplish? If I wanted to stay out of danger, survive as long as possible, I'd be best suited getting as far away from any Foundation personnel as possible, not jumping right into the viper's nest. Answers, I guess. More than anything, I want answers. Even if I get kicked to death afterwards."

(Y/N): *reads composed file*"Pietro went into Site-19 and saw that a lot of the onsite staff were talking about what SCPs they were gonna use to kill the most people. He described their eyes as something lacking in them, like the lack of humanity in them."

Markiplier: "Creepy."

(Y/N): *reads more of the file*"The O5 marked a project called Pneuma, it's like a Mass Amnesticization project like Kaleidoscope, except it focuses on the unconscious side of the human mind. The rest of it was redacted and the O5 council made a vote on human extermination and the vote was unanimous and the Ethics Committee also voted for extinction. They killed off humans and human sympathetic anomalies and MTF teams were deployed to all exclusionary sites."

Cory: "That explained why those MTF soldiers were at the Exclusionary Site where Pietro worked at the beginning of the database."

Markiplier: "What happens next?"

(Y/N): *reads the file*"SCP-1370 was doing some propaganda speeches, SCP-1048 and it's doubles went on a rampage in Paris with a large red teddy on the loose, SCP-1290 was used to launch projectiles at a GOC installation called Ganzir, SCP-1440 destroyed a refugee camp, and they blew up SCP-1678 or Unlondon once the city is full of people."

Ruby: "So that would explain why they're using those SCPs."

(Y/N): "They're not using SCPs like 2317 to blow up the earth. Just killing off the people on the planet."

Dr. Patience: "Here's another Journal Entry."

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"It's been about three months since my last entry. God knows what I've been doing since then. The time between then and now is a complete blank in my memory, and it looks like the files from that period have been deleted as well. As far as I know, I should be the only one able to do that, so take that as you will. I seem like I've been through a few rough patches. I have a few scars that I don't quite recognize, and I have a bandage wrapped around my temple. The Exclusion Harness doesn't seem to be damaged, though, so I don't know what hurt me. Did I fall off a cliff or something? The sad part is I can actually see myself doing something like that. Never was the smartest. Site-19 is long-gone - well, it's still there, I assume, but I'm halfway across the country. Couldn't tell you why. It's weird, though. I feel like I have a purpose now, even though I'm not 100% sure what it is. Just where I need to go. There's a briefcase in my hand. I'm having trouble recalling what exactly is inside it - all I know is that it isn't round, and I need to get it to SCP-579."

Dr. Patience: "Now I know how SCP-5000 got here."

(Y/N): "How?"

Dr. Patience: "I'm not gonna tell you yet, you'll see at the end of the story. Onto the next Journal Entry."

SCP-5000: *in pietro's voice*"I underestimated how long it would take to get to SCP-579. Site-19 was a trek all on its own, but 579 is another story entirely. I wouldn't even know where it was without this documentation - which I have no idea how I obtained, but that's besides the point. I've stopped counting the corpses I've walked past. It's probably in the quadruple digits now. Jesus, maybe higher. Came across the dead body of a kid, a little boy, in a house I was grabbing some supplies from a while back. At first, I thought he'd just been shot in the head, but when I went to bury him I could see there were things moving underneath his skin. Little pale worms, hundreds of them, poured out the second I touched them. They all had his face. They were all laughing. Scurried off into the drain. I don't try to bury people anymore. Keeping going is a lot more difficult than you'd think."

Markiplier: "Wow that's gonna be in my nightmares, nice work asshole."

(Y/N): *reads the composed file*"Well they blew up Yellowstone along with SCP-2000 to make everyone choke on ash, mass produced SCP-2200-1 swords and handed them to refugees and Soulberg was now covered in a mountain of dead SCP-2200-4."

Markiplier: "Wait, is that the town where people who died by the sword go and end up looking like Silver Oscar trophies?"

(Y/N): "Yeah."

Markiplier: "That's horrible."

(Y/N): *reads more of the file*"Looks like they got SCP-2241 to destroy the largest refugee camps they can find an force them to be in smaller groups, SCP-2466 was used to make people from California to be both socially disruptive and physically hostile until the device crashed and becomes unusable, and they used SCP-2639 to control people to kill off survivor communities and installations."

Dr. Patience: "Here's another Journal Entry."

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*" It's nice having company, even if they don't know you're there. I'm sitting around a fire with a group of GOC soldiers who are trying to make their way ... well, I don't think they actually have anywhere to go at this point. Just wandering, maybe. I thought about revealing myself, trying to ask them to help me get to 579, but I don't want to risk it. Maybe I've just gotten used to not existing. Forget being a tourist, I'm a ghost. This suit really is a wonder. Managed to access their connection to the GOC database with it while they were making coffee. The news isn't good."

Dr. Patience: "I found another video file and it shows (Y/N) dealing with Nick Fury."

Video: *Nick Fury's voice*"You killed a lot of people, good people and you think you're one of the good guys?"*your voice*"You and I both know that I need to have a reason to do something like this."*Nick Fury's voice*"And exterminating humans is your reason, you convinced half of the Avengers to fight at your side and now you killed Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, and Clint Barton because they all felt pain?"*your voice*"This line of questioning is over sir."

We then see a blue light coming from your veins and you punch through Nick Fury's chest as your fist comes out of the other side of his body.

Video: *your voice*"Tell Stark and Rogers I said hi."

You and the others see Nick's corpse fall onto the floor as the video ends.

(Y/N): "Okay... I definitely don't remember doing that."

Markiplier: "Hey (Y/N) when you talk to 738, what kind of things would you get if you had to trade your humanity?"

(Y/N): "Well for that price I would get the powers of all the Superman Knockoffs and that's not exaggeration, I asked the price myself to that SCP. And the free will as a human being to cover both Tax and Gratuity."

Dr. Patience: "That explains why you're acting without any free will."

Markiplier: "So someone made (Y/N) into a sleeper agent?"

(Y/N): "No, if we were using SCPs as weapons to kill humanity, I would turn myself into a weapon by using 738."

Dr. Patience: "I found another downloaded file."

SCP-5000: *Morrison's voice*"Do you know where you are?"*Ross' voice*"I'm in Ganzir, right? You guys grabbed us while we were trying to sneak in."*Morrison's voice*"That's right. Do you know why you're here?"*Ross' voice**calmly*"You're going to interrogate me, I assume."*Morrison's voice*"Doctor?"*Dr. Rhodes' voice*"Confirmed. Subject has nothing implanted inside him, no mental agents or cognitohazards either. You're safe to begin."*Morrison's voice*"Okay."*to Ross*"None of your colleagues we've spoken to have talked. Not one, not a word. Why are you talking to me now?"*Ross' voice*"We've met before. Do you remember?"*Morrison's voice*"I'm sorry?"*Ross' voice*"In that joint operation in Tenerife a few years back. With the seagull prince? Do you remember? I was wearing a gas-mask back then, so you probably don't recognize me, but I recognized you, and it gave me a chuckle. That's why I'm talking."*Morrison's voice*"That's the only reason?"*Ross' voice*"Yeah."*Morrison's voice*"When we caught you, trying to sneak into the city with the refugees, you and your comrades started firing into the crowd at random. Men, women and children all murdered for no reason. Don't you think that's crazy?"*Ross laughs**Dr. Rhodes' voice*"...fucker."*Morrison's voice*"That's funny to you?"*Ross' voice*"Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, it's just ... I just thought that was a little hypocritical."*Morrison's voice*"What?"*Ross' voice*"Well, I mean, you're interrogating me like the information you'll get will help you, but there's no time for you to really do anything, the way I see it. No matter how many times you fire Able at her, Professor Crow's Europa will rip this place open before long. But you're still acting like you can do something about it. Don't you think that's crazy?"*Morrison's voice*"If you've just spoken up to talk nonsense, we can always try enhanced interrogation. I don't want to, but I'll do it."*Ross' voice**laughs*"Do what you want. Once you realize you're not supposed to feel pain, there's nothing to be afraid of anymore."*Morrison's voice*"What do you mean by that?"*Ross' voice*"You..."*Ross' voice*"No, you wouldn't want me to say."*Morrison's voice*"I very much do."*Ross' voice*"I'm not talking to you."*Morrison's voice: That doesn't make any sense. Tell me, now."*Ross' voice*"...you're sure?"*Morrison's voice*"We're still good on inoculations?"*Dr.Rhodes' voice*"Cleared on all the Foundation kill agents, yes."*Morrison's voice*"Then spit it out, Ross. Stop stalling or we'll have to get unpleasant."*Ross' voice*"Fine."[INAUDIBLE]"*Morrison's voice*"I ... I didn't catch that."*Dr. Rhodes' voice*"You'll have to speak up. That microphone only has so much gain."*Ross' voice*"[INFORMATION EXCISED]"*Commander Morrison and Doctor Rhodes can be heard screaming loudly. Wet cracks and sounds of rushing wind are also audible. The screaming, which grows higher pitched over time, continues for the remainder of the recording* *Ross' voice*"Look what you've done to yourselves. I told you you wouldn't like it, didn't you? That's why you hear your voice. But you wanted to know so badly. I really liked you guys, so I was trying to be nice. We're so kind to you, you know. We fight in the light so you can die in the dark...disgusting."

The file ends there as you and the others were a bit shocked by that.

(Y/N): "He must've gotten the mindset of SCP-682 somehow."

Dr. Patience: "Well it's getting late now so we all need to get some rest."

(Y/N): "Yeah, I'm mentally exhausted after today."

Later, at your house, we see you at home and you are talking to Kyouka using a webcam.

(Y/N): "So how's the ghostwriting for two futa idols?"

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Pretty good, I've been done with their book for awhile and now I'm just enjoying having some vacation time with them. You cannot believe how big their trouser snakes are, but they're not as big as you hun that's for sure."

(Y/N): "So you had sex with them?"

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Yeah but they are the best futas I've had the pleasure of having sex with. When it comes to having sex with a male, no man can beat you."

(Y/N): "Well I could say the same about women since you are not bad yourself."

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Aww thanks babe, also I have a question, are you and Kim dating?"

(Y/N): "Oh yeah, both her and Bonnie agreed they date me."

Kyouka: *Over webcam* "Okay, by the way, hypothetically speaking, would you wanna date a futa?"

(Y/N): "Hm, why do you ask?"

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Well what if a futa has feelings for you."

(Y/N): "Well a woman is a woman even if they have male parts so I don't mind dating a futa."

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Okay, well should I set up a date between you and a futa."

(Y/N): "Sorry I got work tomorrow."

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Okay I understand."

As you hung up, Riko and Mizuho came out of the closet.

Riko: "So what did he say?"

Kyouka: "He has work tomorrow and he's booked for work all weekend."

Mizuho: "Darn it, well I understand."

Riko: "Yeah..."

Mizuho: "Riko, are you still shaken up?"

Riko: "Hm, a little, what if he's not into futas?"

Kyouka: "He's into futas, he's just really busy at work."

Riko: "Okay, I just hope he's not like those guys our old manager forced us to bang."

Kyouka: "No, no, he's classy. Trust me, the only time he does me in bed is in the privacy of home and in the bedroom and not in a public place. Plus the only time he mastrabates is to relieve stress by looking at porn material, not because he's a creep but because he needs something to help him for stress relief."

Riko: "Hm true, and I should know, I always rubbed one in the restroom when I got hard."

Mizuho: "I use a fleshlight in my bedroom."

Kyouka: "Before or after you both showed everyone your dicks?"

Riko and Mizuho: "Before."

Riko: "I didn't want to show everyone my dick, but Mizuho did and I didn't want her to be the only one."

Mizuho: "Yeah." *blushes a bit* "And I'm sorry for exposing you."

Riko: "It's okay, I forgive you."

Mizuho: "Thank you." *Gets an idea* "Hey, do you wanna do our dick puppet show?"

Riko: "Ooh, let's do it."

Meanwhile with you, we see you, Kim, and Bonnie watching TV.

Bonnie: "So how was work?"

(Y/N): "The usual."

Kim: "So Kyouka is doing some work with the futa idols, that's nice."

Bonnie: "Wish you were having fun with them~?"

Kim: *Blushes* "Not really, besides we got (Y/N) here. He can keep us company." *pauses* "But uh, I did take a selfie with them."

(Y/N): "What does that mean?"

Kim: "I took a picture with them, when I saved them from their manager."

Kim then pulls out of her phone and shows the photo to you.

(Y/N): "Ah, man the temporal anomalies must be getting to my head."

Bonnie: "What do you mean?"

(Y/N): "For some reason, whenever I deal with a temporal anomaly I end up forgetting recent events, it happens a lot."

Kim: "Like all the time?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, once you're dealing with time based anomalies things get weird."

Bonnie: "Yeesh, (Y/N) when was the last time you had a break? Or a vacation?"

(Y/N): "You know, you kinda lose track of time when you're dealing with anomalies, it could be a couple of days, weeks, months, years, centuries, or even 50 millenia."

Bonnie and Kim: "What?!"

Bonnie: "Okay you sir, need a vacation, and a break from time based anomalies so they don't mess with your head."

Kim: "You need a break."

(Y/N): "I'm fine."

Kim: "You said you don't remember the last time you had a vacation."

(Y/N): "That's not a big deal, and I don't remember killing anyone important, especially Nick Fury."

Kim: "What?"

(Y/N): "Nevermind, I'm going to bed."

You then head to bed as Kim and Bonnie look at each other.

Kim: "He needs a break."

Bonnie: "Yeah, but how do you convince an autistic guy to take a vacation?"

Kim: "This guy is built to have a routine, once he's in, he can't get out." *sees Bonnie about say something* "And you better not say, 'that's what she said' ."

Bonnie: "I didn't, because you just did."

Kim: "Dang it. But in all seriousness, I'm stumped."

Bonnie: "Yeah the only other people he listens to are his bosses."

Kim: *Gets an idea* "What if we asked the O5 if he can get a vacation?"

Bonnie: "Are you sure that's a good idea?"

Kim: "What's the worst that could happen?"

Bonnie: "Hm, he could get mad at us, erase our memories, or worse-"

Sometime later, after asking the O5, we see Bonnie and Kim on Keter Duty.

Bonnie: "Keter Duty." *to Kim* *Sarcastically* "Nice idea Kim."

Kim: "Okay in my defense, I didn't think they'd do this."

Bonnie: "Put us in charge of Keter class monsters?"

Kim: "Yeah... sorry."

Bonnie: "Next time I come up with a plan."

Meanwhile with you, we see you and the others looking through the database of SCP-5000.

Dr. Patience: "Here's another Journal Entry."

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"It's getting hard to keep going. When the GOC were keeping up the fight, there was this sense that things could still be turned around, but with them on the run now too it's easy to feel there's no point to all this. With Ganzir taken care of, the Foundation has turned their full attention back to everyone else. I don't eat or drink anymore. The Harness takes care of all that, anyway, and there's too much of a risk that anything I consume will be contaminated by one of the awful viruses the Foundation is trying to spread. I've seen corpses in pretty much every state imaginable by this point. Some of them are walking around, even. Every time I open the briefcase, to skip, I make a little less progress, feel a little worse. Whatever was helping me before, it's like I've grown numb to it. Wouldn't be the only thing. Why am I even going to 579? Do I actually have a reason?"

(Y/N): "Here's another composed file."*reads the file*"The Church of the Broken God got the internet back up and they got a look at SCP-3078."

Markiplier: "Okay what's that one?"

(Y/N): "It's a meme that kills people and makes them laugh and smile while they're dead. That SCP was neutralized awhile back."

Markiplier: "Good to know."

(Y/N): "Anyways."*reads the file*"SCP-3179 sparked civil war in the Church of the Broken God, some believe it's Mekhane and some are not while at the same time 3170 are making robotic monsters. As for SCP-3199, they airdropped 3199 eggs on each part of the globe and you know how they are."

Markiplier: "Okay, that will not end well."

(Y/N): "Is there another Journal Entry?"

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"Have been making my way towards 579 - maybe a little slower than before, but who can blame me for lack of motivation? Been seeing some strange things lately. Stranger than usual, I mean. First are the Blinkers. There's been quite a few of those around lately. Now, I'm pretty sure these were created by the Foundation, even if I don't know how. I don't know most things, so just add this to the list. They're statues, statues of soldiers - MTF uniforms - with empty sockets for eyes. Their arms are carved into blades, like what you'd see on a praying mantis or something. They're harmless as long as you look at them. But the second you look away, they can move - and they're fast. Saw one cut through an entire crowd of people when a gust of smoke blocked it from view for just a second. I'm wary of them. Me looking at them stops them too - so even if they don't perceive where I am, they're going to deduce that I'm there. Might just start slicing everything in sight, and then that's the end of me. Need to do my best to avoid them completely. The second thing I saw is ... well, it's a lot weirder. It was on the horizon, like a person stretched out - no, that's not the best way to describe it. It was like the space around them was stretched out, and they were being stretched along with it, like some kind of bad photo-shop effect. Their body went from the ground up to the clouds, and their jaws swung at right angles. There were these gaps, as well, black gaps in space around its body, like wings. It just floated forwards like that. There were Foundation guys there, too, but they were fighting it, shooting it with guns and rockets. How fucked up is it that I'm thinking the Foundation fighting an anomaly is weird? Maybe they were like me, and managed to get out when this all kicked off. Thought about talking to them, but decided not to. Can't risk it. Got out of there. I need to get to 579. I need to do something. Anything."

(Y/N): "Man poor bum is going through some shit."

Dr. Patience: "Statues that look like MTF soldiers with blades for arms and they only move around when there's no line of sight on them."

(Y/N): "In this composed file, SCP-4290 has been reanimated with SCP-008 enhanced by SCP-914 and that thing cause a lot of trouble and the Foundation used temporal anomalies to make it Christmas forever and have SCP-4666 go on and spread it's horrifying Christmas cheer."

Markiplier: "So he's someone even worse than Krampus?"

(Y/N): "Yep."

Markiplier: "Okay, I'm sleeping with a shotgun on Christmas Eve from now on."

(Y/N): "Same here, only it would be a minigun and a machete."

Markiplier: "Seems a bit much."

(Y/N): "I'm ready to fill that Christmas monster with lead."

Dr. Patience: "Well you better get some rest tomorrow."

(Y/N): "Yeah, and I should probably apologize to Kim and Bonnie when I get home."

Dr. Patience: "They think you're working too hard again?"

(Y/N): "Yeah."

Dr. Patience: "Well they need to know that the O5 need you on many missions and SCPs due to your skill set for them."

We later see you back home where you found Kim and Bonnie pouting after they were put on Keter duty.

(Y/N): "Hello girls, boy you two look exhausted."

Kim and Bonnie: *Pouting* "We were on Keter Duty."

(Y/N): "Are you mad at me?"

Kim: "No cause we tried to ask the O5 to give you a vacation, but they said No and they put us on Keter Duty."

(Y/N): "You know how demanding the Foundation can be. I have the necessary skills for any SCP the Foundation comes across."

Bonnie: "Skills or not, you need a break man."

(Y/N): "I'm just sitting through data logs of SCP-5000 with Dr. Patience."

Kim: "You could've done that at home!"

(Y/N): "Well I can't do that cause the data is in the SCP-5000 suit."

Bonnie: "Oh, that makes sense."

Kim: "Yeah, that makes sense."

(Y/N): "Yep, so I'm gonna talk to Kyouka on the webcam."

Bonnie: "Okay."

Kim: "Tell her we said hi."

We see you in your room and you are talking to Kyouka on the Webcam.

Kyouka: *over webcam*"They tried to ask your boss to give you a vacation?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, so how are things on your end?"

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Things are good, Riko and Mizuho made a puppet show using their penises which was really cool. They handmade clothing for their dicks to wear."

(Y/N): "Really?"

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Yeah they have a lot of them, they have a lot of down time now that they retired."

(Y/N): "Huh, good for them."

Just then you see Riko's dick wearing a ball bra come into the view of the webcam.

Riko: *On webcam* "What do you think (Y/N)? Does this excite you?"

(Y/N): "I think I need to bleach my eyes." *sees Riko a bit bummed out* "But uh, as a man I respect ya."

Riko: *On webcam* *Smiles* "Thanks (Y/N), we can't wait to see you."

(Y/N): "Or maybe I might bump into you."

Mizuho: *Off-screen* "Is that (Y/N)?"

Mizuho then comes into view of the webcam and she sees you.

Mizuho: *on webcam*"Hi there, you must be (Y/N)."

(Y/N): "And you must be Mizuho, nice to meet you."

Mizuho: *on webcam*"You too, and you are just like Kyouka described you to be."

(Y/N): "What'd she describe me as?"

Mizuho: *on webcam*"An autistic man with a strong sense of workmanship and someone who needs a vacation."

(Y/N): "Work is very demanding these days."

Riko: *On webcam* "But sometimes it's important to take a break and recharge, take a vacation."

Mizuho: *on webcam* "Riko's right."

(Y/N): "Sorry but sometimes, duty calls."

Riko: *On webcam* "I know what that's like, our old manager worked me and Mizuho until our balls were drained and we were shooting blanks."

Mizuho: *On webcam* *Shivers in discomfort* "It was so painful."

(Y/N): "Yikes, that's rough."

Riko: *On webcam* "Yeah, you need a vacation."

(Y/N): "I'll be fine, I always managed to come out... fine both physically and..."

You paused as the girls looked at you in concern.

Kyouka: *on webcam*"Uh (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "... Mentally."

Girls: *on webcam*"You need a vacation."

(Y/N): "Girls I'm still alive am I?

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Yeah but what if you actually do die from..." *sees Riko and Mizuho* "Work exhaustion."

(Y/N): "Well... it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make."

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Which means...?"

(Y/N): "I might die or end up in a hospital."

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Okay that makes sense."

(Y/N): "Well I better get going."

Kyouka: *over webcam*"Okay, see ya."

You then turn off the webcam as the girls on the other side of the webcam were worried about you.

Riko: "Man, he takes his job seriously."

Mizuho: "Yeah, what do we do?"

Kyouka: "Just pray he might get a vacation."

Riko: "Yeah, so what does he do for work exactly?"

Kyouka: "Oh uh, he... works for the military."

Riko and Mizuho: "Oooh... that makes sense."

Riko: "Which also explains his muscular body."

Later, at the Foundation in Site-62C, we see you and the others looking through the files of SCP-5000.

(Y/N): "Alright, let's see what Pietro put in the suit. Play the entry Doc."

Dr. Patience: "It's playing now."

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"Hi, journal. It's been a while. Right now, I'm looking at Site-62C, where SCP-579 is supposed to be. There are no guards, as far as I can see, and all the security is down. It looks like the place has been abandoned for a while. I was under the impression that this place was extremely high priority, but it looks like the Foundation doesn't agree with me anymore. I have the briefcase in my hands. It's difficult to breathe. I feel like everything will end soon, one way or another. I'm heading in. Hi again, journal. I know I ended the last entry so dramatically, and it's been about thirty seconds since then, but I have an important update. The second I got close to Site-62C, I got a feeling like someone was pressing a gun against the back of my head. Like I was standing on the edge of a roof, and someone's hands were on my back, ready to push me. Some fight or flight shit, dialed up as far as it would go. I don't know what SCP-579 is. But I know it's looking at me.

Dr. Patience: "Hmmm, he must be referring to the MTF Soldier Statues or Blinkers as we should call them."

(Y/N): "MTF Omega 0 "Blinkers", that's a good name for those MTF soldier statues right?"

Cory: "Oh I get it, Zero Eye contact is their best strength like 173."

(Y/N): "Or MTF Omega-173 "Blinkers"."

Ruby: "That's actually better."

(Y/N): "Play the next entry Doc."

Dr. Patience: "Sure thing."

SCP-5000: *in Pietro's voice*"Was right. Even if they can't notice me, they've figured out I'm here. Slashing everything in sight. Gouged one of my legs. Hurts like shit, but need to keep moving. They're not chasing me, but they're headed to the same place. Need to get there first. Need to keep watching them. That's not fair. But I made it. That's not fair. They're stuck behind the door - I can hear them slashing at it, but it's reinforced, will hold for a little while. A couple of minutes, at least. I'm in an observation chamber, full of instruments for monitoring SCP-579. The actual containment chamber is right below me. I can just barely see it, if I strain my eyes a little. There's a hole. There's a hole in the floor that leads right down there. I know where 579 is. Even if the instruments weren't here, I can feel it. You can't be near it without feeling it, probably. For a second, I thought I could just drop the briefcase into the hole and be done with it, but that would be too easy, wouldn't it? After walking halfway across the world, I guess I haven't earned the right for something to be easy. From the angle of the hole, and where 579 is, the briefcase wouldn't even come close to touching it. The only way it's making contact is if I were to jump in the hole and throw it on my way down. But that height ... throwing the briefcase would be the last thing I'd do. Of course. Of fucking course. It's taken me my whole life to realize, but I'm not the kind of person that can be a detective. I'm just the murder victim. I die for someone else's story. And the human race is going with me. I know whodunnit, howdunnit ... but those were obvious. Everyone knows those, those were handed to me. I don't know why. In the end, I couldn't figure out even a single thing. Why is this happening? Why is the Foundation killing everybody? Why is this happening? Why did they send out those files? Why is this happening? Why did Ganzir fall? Why is this happening? Why am I taking this briefcase across the world? Why is this happening?! Why am I here? Why am I doing this? Why am I ... why am I going to die? Is there a reason? If anyone is ever reading this, please, please, figure it out. Explain it to me. Someone ... anyone. I don't get it. I don't get it... They're about to get in. First foot forward. Oh ... so that's how it is."

Dr. Patience: "That's the last entry before Pietro croaked and combined the power of SCP-055 and SCP-579 to reset the whole world."

(Y/N): "Hm, I know why the Foundation tried to exterminate humanity."

Dr. Patience: "You do?"

(Y/N): "Going by the Journal Entries, it seems he was controlled by some form of entity that doesn't want humans to be extinct, like it wants to feed on the pain of humanity. I think that's why 682 was so dangerous towards us."

Dr. Patience: "So, you're saying the reason why we have pain and empathy is because of a memetic parasite called the Entity?"

(Y/N): "In a way, yeah."

Cory: "That is messed up, how can something so evil use our pain as a food source!?"

(Y/N): "It's what it does, it's a parasite. It feeds off the pain of humanity."

Cory: "Man I can't believe it."

(Y/N): "I know, I wonder how we are supposed to stop a memetic parasite without sacrificing human empathy and pain?"

Cory: "Well, instead of pain, why not just use positive reinforcement."

(Y/N): "Hmm, you know I've been reading up on Site-100, it has something called Project Isorropía."

Cory: "What's Project Isorropia?"

(Y/N): "Sorry Cory, it's above your clearance. I'm a Level 4 and you're a Level 3."

Cory: "Aw man."

(Y/N): "Anyways, well I'm gonna head to the O5 Council, they told me to report to them once I'm done with SCP-5000."

We see you leave the room and we see the others look at each other.

Cory: "Man the O5 really worked him to the bone."

Dr. Patience: "I know right."

Later, at the O5 Council room, we see you talking to the O5s.

O5-01: "I see you have went through the database of SCP-5000."

(Y/N): "What's the next assignment sir?"

O5-07: "We have sent you a file that is related to SCP-682 so you can look at it when you're at home."

O5-09: "But for now, there's an SCP on the loose in the ocean, the Bismarck has risen again and you need to stop the beast with the Naval forces."

(Y/N): "Yes sir."

Next: Chapter 84: SCP-4217 "Contain the Bismarck"
