Chapter 37: SCP-6222 "FISH PRISON"

Here we see Markiplier wearing a shoulder cam and he's filming you and Dr. Collingwood at the entrance of SCP-6222 aka the Fish Prison.

Markiplier: "Hello everybody my name is Markiplier and welcome to SCP-6222 aka Fish Prison!"

Dr. Collingwood: "Why does Markiplier have a shoulder camera?"

(Y/N): "He's a Youtuber before becoming a guard at the Foundation. Besides, I thought he would be good for filming us while we work. Hey where's Amelia?"

Dr. Collingwood: "Dr. Buck, she got a cold so I'll take over her duties."

(Y/N): "Cool."

Markiplier: "Alright let's go into the Fish Prison."

We see you and the others head into the Fish Prison and we see Markiplier filming the interior of the Fish Prison.

Markiplier: "So what's the Fish Prison?"

Dr. Collingwood: "It's a facility that has a large non-euclidean and has a sign at the exterior labeled Fish Prison."

Markiplier: "What does non-euclid mean?"

(Y/N): "She means it's a lot bigger on the inside, SCP-6222-1 are the aquatic life that are contained here at SCP-6222. Despite what the sign says, not all of the 6222-1 instances are fish."

Markiplier: "So if this is a fish prison then why does it look like a human prison?"

Dr. Collingwood: "The vast majority of SCP-6222 resembles that of prison complexes or SCP Foundation containment zones with the notable exception of inoperative lightning systems."

(Y/N): "So we put up the lights."

Dr. Collingwood: "Each cell has at least one 6222-1 instance in it."

We see you and the others enter the room Markiplier then turn the camera to one of the cells.

Markiplier: "Uh where's the water?"

Dr. Collingwood: "Despite the lack of liquid water in the cells, SCP-6222-1 instances emulate aquatic locomotion to aerially mobilize them."

(Y/N): "It could either be the fish themselves or the Fish Prison."

Markiplier: "Do they get hungry?"

Dr. Collingwood: "The 6222-1 instances do not require nutrition, produce excreta, undergo senescence, or any anomalous behavior that is outside of their respective species. We hampered their cells to test their anomalous properties."

Markiplier: "Okay that is so weird."

(Y/N): "Let's go over some of the instances starting with this one."

You then point to a cell that has a Red Tail Catfish in it.

Markiplier: *reads the placard*"Identity Theft, how can a fish steal a person's credit card? It can't even hold a credit card let alone operate a computer."

(Y/N): "Well it actually, there was a test of it's abilities and people were exposed to it had TIE amnesia."

Markiplier: "What does that mean?"

Dr. Collingwood: "It means they don't recall their identities or their personal memories."

Markiplier then moves away from the cell and then stands next to you.

Markiplier: "Stay in there you thief! And for anyone who has a tinder profile!"*points at the Redtail catfish 6222-1 instance*"Don't swipe left on this guy!"

Markiplier then turns to a small fish in a giant cell and then he reads the placard.

Markiplier: *reads the placard*"Assault, first degree murder, and vandalism?"*looks at the first*"Okay that is a waste of resources to make this cell."

Markiplier then turn to see a large fish in a cell and then he screams in sheer terror in sight of the fish itself.

Markiplier: "What is that thing!?!"

(Y/N): *sees the fish*"Oh we don't know, but it looks like an Oarfish with 9 human heads."

SCP-6222-1 instance: *in old Chinese*"Help us! Please help! Help us!"

Markiplier: "What are they saying!?"

(Y/N): "Well if my Old Chinese is good, it sounds like it's saying numerous pleas."*reads the placard*"Voluntary Manslaughter, vandalism, genocide, and high treason."

Markiplier: "Jesus christ why haven't this thing haven't been killed yet! Or investigated at least!"

(Y/N): "Well our investigations on the creature in this cell is hampered due to the cell being saturated with ammonia gas because that thing expels it."

Markiplier: "Oh."

Markiplier then turns to see a Giant gourami fish in a cell.

Markiplier: "What are you in for?"*reads the placard*"Drunk driving and grand theft auto?"

(Y/N): "We have no notes for that one."

Markiplier: "How can a fish drive a car and get drunk?"*turns to see a much larger but empty cell*"Uh.....who's cell is that?"

(Y/N): *Turns to the cell*"Huh, that's weird, this one is empty."

Dr. Collingwood: "It has traced amounts of the chemical Y-909."

(Y/N): "That's the same stuff we use to make our amnestics."

Markiplier: "Well who or what that thing is for that cell it's gone now. Let's hope we will never meet that thing in person. What was it in for?"

(Y/N): *reads the placard*"Apotheosis."*to Dr. Collingwood*"What does that mean?"

Dr. Collingwood: "It means it's the elevation or exaltation of a person to the rank of a god."

(Y/N): "Trying to become a god eh. Huh, whatever this guy was must be a bad guy to end up in here."

Markiplier: "Okay, that will haunt me in my nightmares for sure."

(Y/N): "Let's check out the rest of this prison and then head home."

Sometime later, we see you and Markiplier arrive back at the apartment and we see Markiplier put his stuff down and then you sit down at the table with takeout on the table.

(Y/N): "Not bad on your first day?"

Markiplier: "Yeah and don't worry, only the guys at the SCP Foundation can watch my videos."

(Y/N): "Cool, now I brought back some Taco Bell for us to share."

Markiplier: "Sweet."*grabs a burrito from the bag*"What SCP are we gonna do next?"

(Y/N): "I was curious about where the Y-909 chemical came from and the O5 gave us special permission to know."

Markiplier: "Why?"

(Y/N): "Cause we're assigned to a special mission for a Y-909 supply run."

Markiplier: "........What?"
