World MMPH-0961: Darkness Engulfs Hearts in the Fallen Hero Mao Mao AU
A world where following a harsh rejection from all he called family, Mao Mao turned against the entire world and killed the Mao clan. This led him to become a legendary villain who takes over Pure Heart Valley, reigning over the people as a delusional dictator until Night Luna Wolfessa takes him down and reinstates her husband and herself as the true rulers of the valley, while his own apprentice, Adorabat, stabs him with his own sword after he runs away from the valley, creating the sword that would come to the hands of Humora Crisiant, a jagged keris called Wraithful End, once known as Geraldine...
But little do they know that this sword is connected to another; Puro Gladius, once wielded by the Snugglemagne family whose ancestor won the approval of the people of the town. Wraithful End... perhaps, this story unfolds after all is said and done, revealing a hidden truth about the so called Ruby "Pure" Heart that Humora Crisiant has been looking into following her father's death.
DysMonarchmon, an Anomalice from a Mao Mao Heroes of Pure Heart world, has secretly entered this world, marking the fourteenth world to be entered, and taken this sword as their own in their quest to get the Mao Mao Kwami, Pureeby, on their side while having a personal story with the sword blessed by the corrupted ruby. With the older members still in SVP-172156 dealing with a Code "Blue", it's up to Sandayuu, Wuliang, Félix and Belos to delve into this world and uncover the secrets hidden when Mao Mao died. However, things will not be easy, as DP Leviathan is still out and about, his motives unknown... Who will he eventually choose to side with?
Yet still, the question remains on so many things connected to the Anomalice, to Mona Artemision, and... and her Vessel, an artificial Anomalice himself; Mikado Yuga of the main world... Their story continues to unfold while the Dimension Keepers remain blissfully unaware of who is now working against their multiverse and the Mystic Detectives for reasons yet unknown...
~~ Present Day ~~
One good thing about being an Anomalice, DysMonarchmon mused, was that things were easier to grab. Sure, the portal thing was fun too, even if there were a myriad of bad things to couple up with the good, but they found that it reminded them of the good old days, especially when touching this sword.
Smiling at the merchant they had just robbed of this dangerous sword, they simply said, "I shall be taking this sword with me, sadly. But I do promise that it will be safe with me."
(Their id-, ene-, no, Mao Mao's sword meant a lot to them. It felt only right to retrieve it when it was so, so close to the main worlds...)
A-Humora Crisiant stared back at them, unable to tear their eyes away from the patterns that adorned those butterfly wings. It looked so, so similar to... The Ruby Pure Heart...
"Are you... Some sort of entity representing the Ruby Pure Heart?" They inquired.
DysMonarchmon paused at the question, pondering on how they should answer this lost soul. Whose father had died trying to enter the valley, monsters mauling him while the Heart could sense him, but did nothing. Whose friend (her mom) had died to a weapon seemingly blessed by the Heart.
After some thought, they simply answered, "I too am a lost soul seeking out answers."
That didn't seem to placate them, the hummingbird frowning as they pressed, "Your wings remind me of the Ruby Pure Heart. They are like stained glass in a way..."
"Perhaps I may have a connection to you, young merchant. Perhaps you have met me in a different form before I became this monstrosity," They remarked. "Either way, I shall be taking this sword and you cannot stop me."
"Wraithful End is a dangerous weapon to have. I cannot allow you to have it," They answered. "Bheumarrang!"
"I'm here, Humora!" Her weapon of choice called out while flying over, landing right into her hand and retracting his wings, allowing her to enter combat mode. "Let's protect these artifacts!"
"You mean these?" A voice then called out as DP-Leviathan looked over, a bunch of weapons on the ground in front of him. "I don't think you should leave them be. Most of them seem dangerous."
"They ARE dangerous, Leviathan," DysMonarchmon, or better known as DysMo to the Anomalice, said with a frown. "Stay away from them. You're barely holding on with the Melancholy code."
Of course, how could he forget? He still felt the ache all over his body. With the serpentine wings growing on his back, the black and red lines almost seemed like tattoos to the ignorant.
He barely survived the fight against Sugumamon and his partners... He didn't remember what happened after Rag's death, but it was enough to concern the leader- no, Aesopia- no, Mona. She told him to call her Mona.
"Aesopia was just the cover name Pascatmon called me to hide the fact that we were partners when telling Proximamon and Nirvanamon about our 'horrible' deeds," She explained while sighing.
"She lied to hide her own mistakes...? What is she, a spoiled child?" Leviathan couldn't help but snort.
The eyes returned to amber as Yuga snorted. "That is true."
"That is the sad truth of the world we live in, though. Even in the non-fictional world, the darkness that haunts us all is still present there," Mona said while looking out the window, the eyes glowing once more. "It's sad, but it's life, is it not?"
"It is, isn't it?" DP-Leviathan remarked. "But we still make do with life. Even though it gets hard and we're scared of what happens, we can only try cause even that can inspire good in others. At least, that's what I've learnt when I realised how ****ed up my life was."
The Vessel looked at him, surprise clear in the dual-coloured pair of eyes as Yuga and Mona heard his words.
"Can we even... Go back to those times?" Yuga was the one to ask, a quiet whisper echoing. "To those times before Pascatmon showed up and messed it all up?"
When things were a lot simpler. Simply writing articles, streaming on Ran-Ga, maybe even Buddyfighting... Oh, how much did he miss his world, his friends...
But he couldn't turn back. Not after the things he had done, after what Nanana Paruko did...
He closed his eye. "I want to believe, I truly do, Leviathan-san... But sometimes... Things like these make you realise that you're a monster."
"I don't think that's true, Yuga..." Apophimon frowned.
"It is. I... I was hurting people without realising. The reason I was named the Ace of Blackmail is that unlike Mei-senpai I..." He bit his lip. "I always blackmailed people for fun. Paruko, she... she said it herself during my battle against her in that AU... 'People like us are evil to the core. I can't wait for you to realise just how much of a blessing it was for me to have taken you away from Gao and Tasuku. I can't wait to see you come to the realisation... that you're just like me, as if I was your birth parent instead of them!' I didn't get it back then, but..."
Apophimon and Mona shared a surprised glance. That implied...!
Mona frowned. "Paruko... as in Nanana Paruko, right?"
He nodded. "Yeah. She kidnapped me from the hospital I had been born in and covered it up with help. She did the same with Haru later on... But back then she was working with Broken World, which was eventually revealed to be connected to Pascatmon, so..."
"Hospital... Of course!" She suddenly snapped her, well, Yuga's fingers, eye growing wide. She had been wondering when the Codes got inserted into him, since according to him, Haneul had been holding the Codes due to the susceptibility of their grandmother. She knew it was possible to be connected through family; she had done her research and found that the Codes had been in Daiki Luno through Arima Reiji's kidnapping; an accidental stab meant for Reiji had been redirected to Luno and activated the gene in them.
But the Mikados, outside of perhaps their connection to the Creator Gods, didn't have much exposure to the Codes. Broken World, while related to Pascatmon, had been borne of the darkness in society, with next to no basis in the Codes... So it couldn't have been from his parents.
That meant...!
"I think I know how you became an Anomalice," she said. "But I'll need time to check. Leviathan, DysMo, you should go find Pureeby and convince him to join our side. His skill in cybertronics may assist us in our fight against the Codes."
"Got it." DysMo unfurled their wings. "Please stay safe, Mona, Yuga."
"We will. Speaking of which, though, Leviathan, may I check your mark?"
"My mark... Yeah, sure." He nodded. He wasn't too sure what the other expected to find, but he found that he trusted this woman, even if she was in a teen's body.
She was definitely more trustworthy than his own sister some days.
The strangled gasp Mona let out sent fear twisting into his stomach all over again like a typhoon. "My God, the progression of the Codes..."
"This is a lot faster than I thought..." Apophimon sounded terrified. "Leviathan... Just what... Just what had you done back in that Miraculous world?"
Just what HAD he done back in that world? His memory was perfectly blank when it came to that time... As if it was never his, to begin with...
He shook his head. No, not the time. "Either way, I think I found a weapon I like."
From the array of swords, he took out a grey sword that seemed to have souls emanating from it.
A-Humora's eyes widened. No! Anything but...! "Not Ziel...!"
Ziel Sāweripere. The sword he had stored under the title of "Souls" due to how it absorbed the souls of everything around following a curse placed on it...
He tested the weight, swinging it left and right while a smile formed. "It's perfec-"
"No. You are not taking that sword."
The two turned to DysMonarchmon, surprised by how firm they sounded as they swatted the sword off his hands. "NO. This will only make your Codes fester even more. I refuse to lose anyone else to this stupid curse! If anyone has to suffer for it... Let ME take it on. I'm going to need it anyway if I'm going to destroy the Ruby Pure Heart."
(The source of everything... The thing that truly destroyed the person who meant so much to this Digimon with two sets of memories. One from a blue bat, her original form. Another from symbiosis between an orangutan and a snake.
The Heart... Even if Mao Mao had caused the corruption, it didn't excuse the things it had inadvertently caused.
They knew it. They had seen everything from the crack Mao Mao had made. The Heart had slowly been awakening since that day, ready to break away from its heart-shaped cocoon.
Whoever would have guessed... That the greatest threat to the valley was the Heart itself?)
"You're going to... What?" A-Humora looked surprised by their words. "Destroy the Pure Heart? That's POSSIBLE?"
"If you know where to strike, yes," They answered. "After all, an egg is most vulnerable when it is ignorant of the dangers outside the shell."
"DysMonarchmon, with all due respect, we're here to-"
"Pureeby will be close by to protect it. I'm simply making him think there is a danger to the Heart. He's still a hero inwardly."
His eyes widened. "You intend to trick him..."
DysMonarchmon chuckled. "What a funny twist, to be frank, considering how he was the one who hunted me down all those years ago."
"Hunted... You down?" A-Humora repeated. What did they mean? "Isn't he the monster said to have nearly decimated the entire valley?"
"You are both right and wrong," They said while humming slightly. They could spare some time, they hoped. Who were they to deny the truth to the curious mind, after all? "Pureeby is called a Kwami. One made by the Creator Gods, who govern this multiverse we live in, despite there being others above even them. However, before he was a Kwami, he was the hero who took down the butterfly amphibian, Itzpuxolotl, in ancient times. It sealed itself away, however, into a pink ruby with immense power. The legend itself became warped, though. Itzpuxolotl... Was dying, you see. He hadn't wanted to kill it, but if Itzpuxolotl were to die by natural means... It would mean the end of the world."
They chuckled sadly. "The monster didn't know this truth. And so it sealed itself away. Pureeby had no choice but to only prepare. There was nothing else he could do. As all stories are, the truth became hidden in the midst of spoken word, and before anyone knew it, the name Itzpuxolotl became lost and the name Pureeby became... Became known as the monster."
"If only... If only Mao Mao Mao hadn't cracked that hole in the Ruby. If only he hadn't awoken the sleeping beast within. The heart was... It was never pure."
Memories of what happened when the heart finally shattered echoed in DysMo's mind. In their world...
The Pure Heart died of the injuries it had sustained.
Fire.
Smoke.
Glitches.
They remembered it all. Carrying the memories of the survivors whose connection to Itzpuxolotl kept them alive until something not from their world just.
Just snuffed it all out.
"Proximamon... Nirvanamon..." They whispered. "They killed my world. And then Pascatmon, she... She forced me to work with her, and Pureeby came after me. I recognised him right away. How could I not?"
They looked back at DP Leviathan and A-Humora, tears streaming down. "Do not get me wrong. I... I do not plan on lying to his face. Pureeby should know more than anyone the sorrows one faces. I... If I could turn back time, I would have allowed him to kill me, right there and then. No, I just want him to understand that our worlds being destroyed... It's not our faults... They only destroyed it because Pascatmon... Because she lied to their faces and they BELIEVED HER. They and everyone else... They believed her..."
"Every world now believes we should be eradicated... Not caring about the truth buried beneath it all... And why would they? The ABNORMAL should be eradicated right? Not everyone... Will accept those who are different. Different opinions will lead to fights. Fights will lead to wars." They gripped Wraithful End and Ziel Sāweripere tight. "If I must end this with my own two hands, so be it. If they refuse to listen... Then we'll make them hear us. Every single one of those worlds... I will ensure my and Pureeby's story are told RIGHT this time."
"DysMonarchmon..." DP Leviathan's eyes softened. He... He felt so BAD that they had suffered so much.
Floating over, he hugged them out of nowhere, surprising them as he said, "I'm going to fight with you to the end. I'll help you... T-Tell that story right. I'll make sure all your stories are told. No matter how hard it is, I WILL not let your pain remain unheard."
[Hiuliyoull watches. This new voice speaks of pain. Of sorrow, even of guilt, regret.
But there is a determination in it. A fire that burns despite everything he had been through. Even in danger of death, or something worse, he still wanted to see happiness.
A desperate plea, a call for help. One that Hiuliyoull is confident will come.
Curious people, these Anomalice were. Especially their progenitor and her Vessel.
The gem cracks a bit more.]
Slowly, slowly, their hands raised up...
The swords floated to their sides while they wrapped their hands around him. He too was slowly going through a metamorphosis. The Codes- no, was it even the Codes?
(Fighting a supreme demon changes people. DP-Leviathan had nearly won his fight, and the strength he gained from it infused the magic from CR-Lila Cerise into his core.
A new mark was beginning to form on his Anomalice mark, although whether or not he will gain yet another... Remained to be seen.)
They knew that he was changing. The Codes were giving him something and his refusal to give up on that one thing was going to cost him.
"You must let go of the power the Codes give you, Levia," they said to him firmly. "The Codes may be powerful but the cost to pay for it is far too great. You still have family to return to, and none of us want them to lose you this way."
"As if Yuga doesn't have any family, and yet you still allow him to be around."
"Leviathan, the Codes don't affect him the way they do you. Yuga, he's a special case like Mona... You've been overwhelmed by them once. I can't, WE can't let you be overwhelmed again. That could well and truly kill you."
"DysMo..."
"Please, listen. This is personal for me. Pureeby and I have a long history, and I... I messed that up. I'm the reason my world got branded a Forbidden Verse..." They closed their eyes. "I was a monster that ended up destroying the place I could call home. I'm nothing but a wandering spirit and... It hurts..."
Their voice cracked right there, and DP-Leviathan couldn't help the pang that echoed in his chest. He... He related so badly to the concept of not having a home... He still remembered being yelled at when he came to the orphanage, called a nuisance at the age of three....
But now... Here was someone telling him he MATTERED. Somehow, to the kids, to his sister who he barely knew...
He couldn't...
"I refuse to let you lose your home as well. You have a family now. Maybe before, you... you didn't have any. Maybe it's been so, so dark for you, but now... you're fighting for them."
It dawned on them. The reason he was fighting, was it...? "You're fighting to... to change your world, aren't you?"
DP-Leviathan couldn't help the bittersweet smile as he said, "Change? More of alter it slightly. I just... I just want my friends to rest in peace. I want the kids to be safe. Haru, Eri, Torajirou, Rei, Yuujin, Nico, and Hana, Duri, Semo... let them all have fun and be kids instead of having to fight and protect the world while no one believes them. It... It hurts badly when you cannot rely on others, on grown-ups... So just erasing myself... would make my world a better place."
DysMonarchmon looked at him, eyes wide as they soaked the words in. So that was why he had joined up with them....
It... It made so much sense. The mist surrounding their partner finally cleared. They could see him clearly now; a man who couldn't bring himself to believe in his own good and strengths...
They couldn't help but chuckle at how ridiculously simple the entire matter was. "But... you can be that shoulder to cry on, can you not?"
He paused. "... What?"
"You are conjuring up complex solutions to a simple problem, Leviathan," They said with an amused tone. "Why are you avoiding it? It's quite simple, is it not? If you want them to have someone to rely on, be that person. If you want to let your friends rest in peace... You have to give yourself that peace. You seem convinced that you're helpless in this situation when really, your presence itself could be that change you so desperately seek. After all... Did your choice not stem from the good intentions you so clearly have despite your past actions?"
"I... I still hurt people."
"And that was in the past," They reminded him. "You are moving forward as yourself now. Would the past you have wanted to take on hurt to protect others, or would you have let them hurt and reveled in their suffering?"
He paused at the sudden question. He... He wouldn't have wanted to let himself be hurt back then. He would have watched them hurt with a la-
No, even when he was a criminal, he had... He had still felt twinges of guilt in his stomach. As if knowing it was wrong...
"I... I would have wanted to hurt myself to protect others in the past," He admitted aloud, surprised by how genuine that sounded as the words escaped his lips.
DysMonarchmon chuckled. Bingo. "That in and of itself proves your good core. You were distraught by Rag's death and you don't want me to suffer, which is why you took this sword, is it not? You see us as worth saving when this entire multiverse sees us as nothing but glitches, and that is something you need to apply to yourself, Leviathan. See yourself as worth saving instead of hurting yourself over and over again for mistakes long past. The kids see your worth, so why can't you see how amazing you are, Leviathan?"
He could only watch DysMo, stunned beyond words. They...
They weren't wrong. The kids, Minerva... They had been nothing but supportive, hadn't they? They loved him. All the kids spent days around him and knew he was good when he couldn't see it.
"Uncle! I love you!"
"Leviathan-sensei! Read story please!"
"Wanna hear more about the fight against scary dragon!"
And... and his sister, Minerva...
"I'm always here for you, Seirei. I don't know why our father threw you away but I regret not stopping it to this day. Please... allow me to make up for it somehow."
They were more perceptive than he gave the brats credit for, he admitted, but the thought just made him feel... Free.
[Hiuliyoull pauses. What in the world...? This is...
A soft glow from the cracking gem as it seems to be... be...]
He didn't know when he started crying, but the next thing he knew, skeletal hands had wrapped themselves around him. "I hear your pain, your relief, Leviathan..."
"I... DysMo, I... T-thank you..." He hugged her back, softly, gently. The wings slowly retracted, the dark lines that had been slowly spreading drew back, and the mark on his right palm suddenly burst with a warm light as a pair of golden earrings formed over his silver piercings, shaped like hearts...
Watching this, A-Humora couldn't help but chuckle, getting up as Bheumarrang floated by his side, a smile on his face as well.
It pretty much reminded the two of the situation they had been in.
DP-Leviathan got up and bowed to them, unable to hide the flush forming as he said, "I deeply apologise for our attack on you out of nowhere."
"Attack? I don't think that constitutes an attack if my already-possessed sword was practically possessed," she said, barely able to mask his amusement as DysMo flared up. "But I can see that you two are a good fit. A perfect match, even, foiling the other in a way no one else can. And the swords match you as well."
"Huh?/Eh?" The two shared a surprised look while A-Humora picked up the rest of the swords they had taken, but left one for DP-Leviathan. "Ziel Sāweripere is a twin weapon. Both were created to take down evil, only Ziel was corrupted by a curse and became what it is today. However... This one, I believe should be yours, Leviathan, if I'm not mistaken."
DP-Leviathan blinked as he knelt down and picked up the weapon she had apparently gifted to him; a golden scythe with vines growing around the hilt, and a pink lotus growing at the top. He gently touched the light green leaves sprouting out of the vines, feeling their smooth surface. "This is..."
"Leipda, the weapon I saved under the codename of 'Blood'," A-Humora said. "To be honest, not much is known about the two swords you've chosen, but legends say that together, a powerful magic will be unleashed. Whether that can only be brought about through being on opposing sides is another story entirely."
"Why give them to us? Surely there are better candidates for these weapons," DysMo inquired.
He chuckled at the question. "DysMonarchmon, I believe? The weapons choose who they want, and I personally believe that they are a good fit for the two of you. After all, you too have a good core despite the mistakes you've made."
"I... I do?" They were taken aback by the bluntness in their words, but DP-Leviathan burst out laughing. "Humora-san's right. You are a good person. Would anyone bad have tried to save me? I'm betting that the Pascatmon you guys talk about so much... She would have allowed me to rot and suffer until I became a monster."
"But I..."
"What's in the past is in the past. You told me that, so why not apply this to yourself? You see me as someone worth saving; what about you? So what if you were some crazy monster in the past? You are still loved by your family, the other Anomalice. I saw the looks they had when we were back in the hideout. They care immensely for you, so... Why not give yourself a chance, DysMo? Why not trust that you've become a good person? It doesn't hurt anyone, does it?"
DysMonarchmon could only stare speechless at DP Leviathan. He had... He had just all but reversed the situation on them, and made them understand their worth.
"You just have to be your own kind of hero, Adorabat," The words from her memory echoed in their mind.
DysMonarchmon closed their eyes. A smile formed.
"I see why... Why Rag cared so much for you, Levia."
"Huh?" He and A-Humora shared a glance. What did they mean?
DysMo simply chuckled.
Perhaps... They should have figured this out a long time ago...
Perhaps they should have realised that the key to defeating the Codes, to defeating PASCATMON, who worked hard to drag them down into the endless pit of despair, of the what-ifs...
It was simply...
"You knew before the rest of us how to break out of the Codes," They said with a chuckle. "You knew that the best way to defeat Pascatmon was to simply do the opposite of what she wants. She wants us to fight, to revolt. Cause chaos in this world... Instead, we should have chosen the other path. Painful, much more difficult than anarchy. But it's the right path."
Perhaps... That was what set him apart from his counterparts. Leviathan, this Leviathan had something to fight for, and he was willing to take it into his hands. He was equally as willing to admit his faults.
"You've reminded me... That I too have worth, that neither of us are Pascatmon's puppets. I... Thank you, very much, Shinkai Seirei."
"No, I should be the one thanking you, DysMo- no, Itzpuxolotl. Thank you, for reminding me that the best way to honor the people I've hurt is to accept both parts of me, and acknowledge the growth I've gone through." He looked them in the eye with a smile. "I owe you one."
And something seemed to resonate in their hearts as a familiar voice called ou-
Wait.
It was frantic. Terrified.
"SOMEONE HELP! THE... THE RUBY PURE HEART...!"
Pureeby?!
DP-Leviathan was alarmed. "Who was THAT?!"
"And what was that about the Ruby Pure Heart?!" A-Humora paled.
But DysMonarchmon's fists clenched. They could feel it. The cracks....
From afar, they could see the power just oozing out of the heart as the skies darkened a violent pink.
His computers were going haywire. The malice levels had spiked to the highest concentration it had ever been, even when Mao Mao had ruled the valley!
Cyber Clyde Clawberry, Technical Deputy of Pure Heart Valley's Sheriff Department (they still needed protection, despite everything. They had to start it up again, even if Adorabat still cried herself to sleep, having done what no child should ever have to do. Even if BC still had nightmares of what had happened. Even if Cyber had no idea how to help them when he barely knew Mao Mao, but his presence was still so clear in the two.), could not believe his eyes. "What in the world?!"
"Cyber, status report, now!" A holographic screen opened up to reveal his cousin, the current queen of the valley, Night Wolfessa. Concern was written all over her face as she demanded, "What in the name of the Ruby is going on?!"
"I-I don't know!" He stammered, going through all the data frantically. "None of this makes sense!"
"If this is an attack, I'm afraid we must evacuate at once! The valley barely survived the dictatorship of Mao Mao! I fear the worst if it was attacked at such a vulnerable time!" Snugglemagne said from the other side as the king got up.
"I agree there! But the real question is... where is the enemy coming from?"
"Night-"
"No villain would attack the valley. I made sure of it," she said with a scowl. "Don't even think about it, Cyber."
He flinched. R-Right... "Sorry, it's just..."
And her eyes softened. She had been a bit too harsh there. "No, it's fine. I... I'm sorry too. I'm just..."
"All of us are quite tense, my love," Snugglemagne reminded her as he wrapped his big arms around her. "You need not take the burden yourself."
"I... I know." She sunk into the hug even more. It was so warm...
Cyber couldn't help but smile at the scene a bit, although they did have more pressing matters to attend to. "Night, Snugglemagne, you two need to evacuate immediately. Adorabat, BC and I will hold off whatever it is. Make sure all the Sweetypies get away."
(Even if they saw him as a bad person, he would still fight for the right thing. That was... that was what he believed in thanks to BC.)
The two shared a worried glance, but nodded.
"Make sure to come out of this alive, cousin. Please... Yuki would be..."
"I know, Night. I know." He made sure that his cousin didn't see his trembling hands underneath the table before the feed ended, leaving him alone in the room.
He adjusted his goggles nervously, the eyes behind it looking at the camera feed with growing confusion. There were no attacking forces... Yet the sky was growing pink and lightning bolts shot out, frying everything it touched.
It felt... familiar.
Like he had seen it before.
But where? A picture? A description? A...
He paused when he noticed the Ruby Pure Heart, still standing intact and innocent. Hang on...
There was... something there. Someone was floating in front of it.
He zoomed in on this, clearing the resolution of the image.
What seemed to be blobs of black became wings and cat ears, with the grey blobs turning out to be cybernetic parts and a golden peg on its right leg.
But what really caught his eye? A double-edged spear with vegetation growing on either side, almost like a grave...
And a pink scepter... One he would recognize almost anywhere...
His eyes widened.
"That's... the scepter of the first Snugglemagne...!" He gasped. "Puro Gladius..."
Who was this figure, and why...? Why did they have the legendary scepter of the Snugglemagnes?
He knew that he had to find out. This could tell him more about what was going on here!
Without thinking, he rushed out of the lab, unaware of how much this would change his life and more.
(The count down begins. It slowly cracks its cocoon...
Soon... its metamorphosis will be complete, and when it is...
iTzPuXoLoTl will rise once more to raze the world down to the ground.)
