"She contacted me last night",Jungkook spoke after a long silence.

Jongsuk widened his eyes. He was frozen on his couch. He felt his heart contrasting inside him.

Jungkook was sitting right infront of him on a couch with Rawon on his lap. He patted Rawon's head gently when he was trying to grab his attention by babbling nonsense in his baby language.

"W–What? She did?what did she say?where is she?!",Jongsuk was becoming impatient with every passing second.

Jungkook, "she said not to search for her. She told me to tell you that she is fine and not to worry about her"

Jongsuk clenched his jaw. He wasn't buying any shit now. "What the hell is she thinking?! Give me the phone number. I will knock some brain to her!"

Jungkook sighed shaking his head. "No use. She was calling from a public telephone or something. I already gave the information to Mark. He said that it was a foreign number. She is already out of the country"

Jongsuk pulled his hair out of frustration. He hid his face on his palms not wanting Rawon to see his saddened and mad face.

"You know about her. She wouldn't have gone if it wasn't important. She will come back",Jungkook tried to assure him even though deep inside he was worried sick. "She had done much more dangerous things. This shouldn't be that bad"

Rawon wiggled out of Jungkook's hold and walked towards his father wobbling here and there trying to be steady in his steps. With so much difficulty, he climbed onto his lap and tried to pull his hands away from his face. When Jongsuk looked at him,Rawon gave a loud giggle muttering,"peek a boo"

Jongsuk broke into a chuckle along with Jungkook.

"Look,he is better than you. Cannibal bitch must have told him to take care of you. He is doing the job perfectly",Jungkook joked to lighten up the mood.

Jongsuk hugged the little one with a soft smile. "Stop cursing infront of him. He already knows how say 'shit' thanks to yoongi hyung"

Not a second passed,Rawon screamed loudly, "SHIIIT!!"

Jongsuk sealed his lips into a thin line while Jungkook was having a hard time not to laugh hard.

"He is learning well. Like mother like son. What a little shit",Jungkook chuckled at the infant's adorable stupid expression.

"Stop calling my son 'little shit' . I shouldn't let him hang out with his so called uncles. You guys spoil him too much"

Jungkook laughed loudly throwing his head back. "What should we do when he is too cute. He is our annoying sister's one and only son so of course we will spoil him"

And like that the mood became light thanks to Rawon. Jongsuk sighed kissing Rawon's head.

"I'm glad that atleast she called you"

Jungkook nodded. "I told my brothers too. They were relieved. Deoksim agreed to go to the academy after that. She badly refused to leave not knowing any news from Sol-ah"

"Oh,she already left?"

Jungkook nodded. "Jin hyung told me"

"Oi,Hamster ",Naru appeared from behind Deoksim who was focusing on shooting arrows to the targets.

Naru put down his bow and looked around to see the other trainees taking a break. It was an indoor shooting zone for the trainees.

"What?",Deoksim snapped trying to focus on the target.

"I heard that we are having a black agent here"

Deoksim paused and lowered her bow looking back. She made a confused face.

"What?why?"

Naru drank water from his bottle and closed the bottle,gulping down the water.

"Who knows. But Haru was asked to meet him before hands as the captain. He had gone for a long time now"

Deoksim frowned wondering what is a black agent doing here. She snapped her head towards a girl who just approached them with her bow. She was a short haired tomboy style girl. To Deoksim, she was cool as fuck. She is a senior to her and she had already faked her death to the public. She was the first one to fake her death in their team so naturally she is respected. In name,she is Vera. Just Vera. You can't have a family name after you faked your death. It's just simply agent Vera.

"Yo, don't you know why? He is going to be our commander ",she said adjusting the string of the bow.

"Commander?",Deoksim asked confused.

Vera nodded. "When you are at the end of the training period, you will be trained under a black agent. He will take us out for real missions",Vera looked at Deoksim with a blank face. "I doubt if you'll be able to go to real missions. Even though you skipped few years because of your talent, you are still unexperienced. Even for us,we will spend few more years doing small missions and we still got a lot of things to learn"

Deoksim really didn't understand what she was trying to say.

"Are you trying to look down on me?",she asked tilting her head.

"No. I'm just stating facts. I know that your aunt had been training you ever since you were little. You are good at fighting. Frankly speaking, you are good at everything. But to the commander, you are no different than a new trainee Deoksim",her tone was unwavering. Cool and cold. No wonder that everyone respected her.

"I don't really understand?",Deoksim scratched her neck being a confused potato.

Naru laughed awkwardly. "You idiot. She is trying to tell you to be careful around the commander"

Vera left without saying anymore words.

"Why is she so complicated?she could have used simple words",Deoksim pouted feeling so dumb. She was really happy that someone like Vera talked to her. But she effortlessly embarrassed herself infront of her senior.

Naru ruffled Deoksim's hair. "She doesn't show that she cares. She is like that ever since we remembered. But I should tell you in advance not to mess with her. She is Sol-ah's one of the best students"

"Now I'm jealous. What's so good about her?! Whatever!I'm the cutest here! I'm Sol-ah's best. By the way,since when did she start her training?"

Naru rolled his eyes. "You change the subject too quickly. She had been training since she was 9. We all start our training when we are 12. But she came here even before us. After going through the first training session for few years,she was transferred to become a red agent trainee here with us"

It was a big process to become a red agent trainee. First when you were 12 or 13,you gotta enter the junior red agent training academy. After you became 20,you'll be transferred to become a new red agent trainee directly under NIS in the training base camp. After spending 4 or 5 years as a new red agent trainee,you'll be a senior. Everyone went through this process except Deoksim. She was home trained by Deoksim. So,there was no need for her to go to the academy. Then,she was directly transferred here to the base camp. And she didn't even go through the first 5 years as a newbie. She passed all the tests without going through them. She had the knowledge and practice.

At first,everyone talked shit about her saying she wasn't suitable to be a red agent but she broke their delusional theories showing her skills infront of everyone. She passed the tests infront of everyone.

"EVERYONE LINE UP!"

Deoksim and Naru jumped in shock hearing the loud voice of their captain Haru.

Every member got into a line and stood straight with their hands clasped behind their backs. Deoksim was in the front line with Naru in the front of the beside line next to hers. Vera was also a front liner next to Deoksim's line.

Haru looked at Deoksim and Naru as soon as he walked infront of them. Both Deoksim and Naru frowned seeing Haru's weird face. He was trying to say something but he couldn't say it infront of everyone.

"Everyone, attention!",Haru ordered with his cadet like tone. "From today onwards,we will start our practical missions. For that,we are having a commander from one of the black agent teams. Please welcome the commander Xiao Zhan"

Both Naru and Deoksim widened their eyes seeing the man who appeared from behind Haru. The exact person they had been dying to meet for the past few weeks. The bastard they have been trying to hunt down since Sol-ah went missing. The jerk Sol-ah had been talking about.

Deoksim met his eyes. She could never forget those eyes.

His eyes met hers for a mere second and Deoksim could swear that he had a slight smirk on his ugly (beautiful) lips.

"He is the devil",Deoksim mumbled to herself.

He stood infront of everyone and started his speech as the commander. But Deoksim did not hear a word he said. She was too shocked. Her wide eyes stared at the man.

"I will not talk shit like introducing myself here. Your captain already gave my name. You don't need to know anything about why I'm Chinese or anything. You are to do what I say and if not the person will suffer a great pain. Am I clear?"

"YES SIR!",Everyone answered in unison except one person. Deoksim was still stunned.

"I think I didn't hear you all . I'm asking again. Am I clear?",He didn't look at Deoksim but he could see her from the corner of his eyes.

"YES SIR!"

Again,Deoksim kept quiet.

Naru and Haru panicked.

"Fuck,she is over",Naru and Haru mumbled to themselves.

Zhan turned to Deoksim this time.

Vera sighed knowing what is gonna happen. She had heard about the man before. She desperately wished that it shouldn't be him to come as their commander but luck wasn't in their side.

Zhan stood infront of Deoksim with hands clasped behind his back and stared right through her eyes burning her skull.

"I think you didn't hear me clearly miss. Right?"

And that's when Deoksim came out from her little world. She immediately sent him a glare.

"YOU!!IT'S YOU!",she screamed pointing her finger to him.

Haru shut his eyes as he is done with her while Naru was freaking out. Cold sweat was dripping down from his forehead. Even Vera couldn't believe what she did. She sighed.

Zhan raised an eyebrow.

"I what?"

Deoksim still couldn't read the air around her. She was too much into her own emotions.

"You are that damn fucker who played with me!where the hell is she?!"

Everyone gasped in unison.

Zhan's face turned to one hella scary expression. He took one predatory step towards her and there was no space in between them.

Deoksim didn't know what was happening but when she realised she was in the air. He was holding her by her collars and had raised up a bit. Her toes were barely touching the ground.

"Do you know what is the best way to discipline an undisciplined brat like you?",He asked still holding her in the air like a sack of potatoes.

She was dumbfounded. She blinked few times innocently. "Huh?"

"It's pain"
