Ch.26

Taehyung and Hoseok were pushed inside by Vera. They stared at Deoksim blankly. Jungkook still couldn't process what he heard.

Deoksim bit her lip not meeting her uncles' gazes.

"Oh,so you all didn't know?",Kang Hanuel looked at the siblings with a fake surprised expression. "That's fine. Now,you all know it"

"Is it true? Deoksim?", Hoseok asked.

Deoksim didn't answer but her answer was very clear.

Kang Haneul again laughed seeing their expressions. He took the alcohol bottle and threw the liquid everywhere, laughing his guts out. If it wasn't for his handsome face,he would have looked like a crazy mental patient. But again,he really looked mental.

"What can she do? Even if they saved Sol-ah,won't she be in another hell? She'll be sent to jail for the crimes she did. Or worst,mental asylum. Right? But she had already been given the death panelty by law", Haneul said like he already knew what's going on which he really knew.

Jungkook, Hoseok and Taehyung widened their eyes in unison and looked at Sol-ah who was staring at Mark. She was waiting till her master gives order to kill Mark. She really looked creepy with all the blood on her face and hands.

"N –No,that can't be true!", Taehyung screamed. "Sol-ah did nothing wrong!"

"Why don't you ask your niece? You all believe her,right? Little girl,why don't you give some brain to your uncles"

Deoksim looked at her uncles and looked down.

Hoseok,"Deoksim! You know your aunt right? She will never do any harm to innocent! It's not fair —"

"..he is right", Deoksim muttered cutting him off.

Jungkook couldn't even stand properly. His head was spinning endlessly. He didn't care about the crimes she committed. To him,she will always remain as his twin sister. The one he needs to protect at all cost. Even if it means killing someone, it doesn't matter to him.

Taehyung and Hoseok felt the same way as Jungkook. They didn't care what crime she committed. What matters is her.

Kang Haneul continued to throw alcohol everywhere,enjoying the drama. Mark,Deoksim and Haru understood what he's going to do. He's going to set fire to the room.

"The CEO of the Kim enterprise and his two brothers found dead in a hotel room. Cause of the death is an accidental fire blast. That would be the news tomorrow. How is it? Do you all have any fascinating topic for the headline?",He asked,taking a lighter from his pant pocket.

He lit it up and raised it in the mid air.

Just then,the window of the room was shattered into pieces and a figure rolled inside and stood with a gun. It was Xiao Zhan. He removed the cables around his waist by one hand.

"Maybe your death will be a fascinating topic as the headline"

Deoksim smiled widely seeing him.

The lighter had already left Haneul's hands accidentally and the room was on fire right now.

Haneul gritted his teeth before looking at Sol-ah. "Kill him!"

Sol-ah didn't waste any second before charging towards Zhan.

Vera charged towards Deoksim and Haru while the rest of the guards charged towards Mark.

And soon,everything was a bloody mess.

Haneul ran towards the door with few guards and opened it only to see Yoongi. Hanuel was met up with a punch on the face. Jimin and Namjoon were behind him.

Behind them,three more agents who were chasing the Kim siblings, entered inside protecting them from Haneul's men.

Everyone was fighting in the middle of the fire.

Jimin ran towards Jungkook who was struggling to get up because of his injuries.

Mark made sure that no guard reached Xiao Zhan and Sol-ah, and let them fight alone. He single handedly handled all the men without a trouble.

Deoksim let Haru handle Vera and went to help Mark. The other three red agents protected the Kim siblings.

Xiao Zhan had put a choke hold on Sol-ah. He tried his best to strangle her. Hearing Sol-ah's painful breathing, Zhan's eyes teared.  "I'm sorry",he whispered. "I will pay you back some day Sol-ah. But you need to die now"

Sol-ah suddenly bent down and threw him over the shoulder. Zhan fell down on the floor.

Meanwhile, Hanuel was fighting against  Mark right now letting Deoksim take care of the rest of the men with the other three red agents.

"Did you really think you could escape?",Mark threw a punch on the face. Hanuel was obviously weaker than Mark.

Mark pulled him his collar and pushed him onto the wall and punched him nonstop. "You fucking bastard!"

Hanuel laughed even after receiving those metal like hand punches. "I didn't really plan to die today but I don't have regrets either. I got everything I wanted. I could even ruin Deoksim's life who is the sole reason why I am dying today. I stole her from her life and made an animal!hahahahaha"

Mark clenched his jaw and punched him on the face without stopping.

Haru was on the floor at a corner with Vera choking him.

She smiled evily. "It was really nice to fool you all. I really liked Naru,your brother,but what can I do? It was so unlucky of him to meet Sol-ah"

Haru gritted his teeth. "Y –You bitch! Don't even say his name!"

Vera choked him harder.

Suddenly, Haru's hands found something hard on the floor. A gun! It was Mark's gun.

Vera,"Any last words Haru?"

Haru,"Good bye"

He pressed the gun on her forehead and shoot. He threw away his body and looked around. Seeing Mark still punching Hanuel to death,he screamed.

"Mr.Mark!"

Mark looked up. A gun flew to his hand. Catching it perfectly,Mark pulled the trigger to Hanuel's head.

Xiao Zhan was in a hard time right now. He was beatened up to a pulp by Sol-ah. Without a master,she might kill anyone who comes in her way.

Xiao Zhan was lying on the floor half unconscious. He could see Sol-ah's shoes coming closer to her. Her knife was on her hand with blood dripping down from it.

Deoksim widened her eyes seeing Sol-ah advancing towards Zhan to kill him. She immediately pulled out the box from her pocket and took out the injection. Right now,almost every men of Hanuel are dead. The fire was rising up by the every passing second. The curtains were on fire,including the couches.

Deoksim looked at the vaccine and looked back at Sol-ah. Gripping it tightly, she made a run towards Sol-ah. Sol-ah was kneeling from one leg next to Zhan.

Just as Sol-ah was about to stab him,Deoksim inserted the needle into her neck and pressed the liquid down.

Sol-ah hissed and paused.

Deoksim's chest was heaving up and down with her heavy breathing.

Everyone paused for a moment.

It was a nerve wrecking moment.

Sol-ah slowly removed the injection and stood up. She was still back facing Deoksim.

Deoksim, "...Sol-ah?"

No answer.

Mark signalled the Kim siblings not to approach yet.

Deoksim took a step backwards when Sol-ah turned back.

The injection fell down from Sol-ah's hands.

Her half lidded eyes went to Deoksim's figure.

Mark,"...It's not working",...."Deoksim! Run back!!"

Deoksim couldn't even process when she was lifted pulled back by Haru. If he didn't, Sol-ah's knife would have slit her throat.

"Deoksim!take your uncles out! Haru,help her! Me and Xiao will deal with her!"

Deoksim looked at Zhan who had already stood up. He was wobbling a bit but he still could fight. Deoksim didn't want to help either. It's the end. They are going to kill her. Deoksim didn't want to take a part of it.

As Mark said,she tried to take her uncles out of the room. But they were not willing to leave.

"What's happening?! Sol-ah will die if she stays in this fire!", Jimin yelled not wanting to leave.

Taehyung and Hoseok widened their eyes knowing what's happening. No,they couldn't accept it.

"No",..."NO!!", Taehyung screamed trying to run towards Sol-ah but Haru was quick enough to pull him back.

Other red agents and Deoksim pulled the rest of the Kim brothers out forcefully.

"NO!PLEASE!",Hoseok cried extending his hands towards Sol-ah but he was dragged outside.

Yoongi,Namjoon and Jimin were clueless at what was happening. And Jungkook, he was staring blankly at Sol-ah,letting the agents drag him out. He saw how Sol-ah stood in between Xiao Zhan and Mark in the middle of the fire.

She wouldn't survive.

Both Mark and Xiao Zhan fought against Sol-ah.

Sol-ah was exhausted after all the fights. She had gone weaker and weaker. It looked like Mark and Xiao could take her down at any moment now.

Sol-ah's whole face was bruised badly. She fell on the ground with a punch from Mark.

Mark hovered over her. He already had a gun in his hands. He held her neck and pressed the gun to her head.

Sol-ah had stopped fighting. She couldn't fight any more.

Mark stared at her exhausted face.

Can he press the trigger?

His hands trembled.

Xiao just stood there watching the scene while Deoksim looked away.

The Kim boys were screaming and crying, trying to go inside. Only Jungkook stared at the scene without a struggle. He was just blank.

Tears fell down onto Sol-ah's face. Mark was crying. How can he do it?

"...Deoksim, please forgive me",he whispered.

She just closed her eyes,having no strength.

"We need to get out quickly", Zhan whispered. "The fire"

Mark lowered his gun.

"....I can't do it"

Xiao Zhan neither said anything nor had an expression. Even he couldn't do something like that. He had sacrificed many of his comrades before but he had never felt this type of guilt. He placed his hand on Mark's shoulder. "...Let's leave"

Mark gave a last glance at Sol-ah before standing up.

They both left Sol-ah inside the burning room and got out. After they left,they looked back only to see Sol-ah standing in between the fire. She was staring back at them.

A small gasp left from Jungkook. The scene was replaced by the flashback of the night where he left her. He only saw the little Sol-ah inside the burning room.

At the next second,startling everyone,Jungkook jumped inside the room. No one had guards up against him since he has been calm. Now,no one could stop him.

Deoksim was about to run inside but a large cupboard fell infront of them blocking the door.

"NO!!JUNGKOOK!!"

"SOMEONE HELP THEM!"

"OUR BROTHER AND SISTER ARE STILL INSIDE! PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!"

Xiao Zhan tried to push the cupboard but his hands got burned.

Mark also tried to push the cupboard but more and more things fell down from up due to the fire. The fire was spreading out of the room too. The fire alarm was ringing loudly,alarming everyone.

Meanwhile, Jungkook stood infront of Sol-ah. He reached her slowly and looked at her blank eyes.

His teary eyes stared back at her. His shaky hands reached her cheek and stroked lovingly. "I won't leave you",he whispered.

A loud gasp left from his lips. He looked down to see a knife. His legs weakened and fell on his knees. He spat a mouthful of blood,holding the knife on his stomach.

In the next second,he was pushed to the floor by Sol-ah. She started choking him.

Jungkook smiled. "I –It's okay Sol-ah. It's n –not your fault", his face was flushed with all the blood rushing to his face. "I won't l –let you go this time. If I can't bring you back home,then let's leave together", his tears rolled down from his eyes.

Jungkook pulled out the knife out of his stomach and stabbed Sol-ah's heart.

Sol-ah stopped choking him with a loud gasp. Her face changed and took an expression of pain.

Jungkook pulled out the knife and let it go. He pulled Sol-ah to his chest and hugged tightly and let her lie next to him. He made his arm as her pillow and kept staring at Sol-ah with a small smile.

Sol-ah's mouth opened. It was like something flickered inside her eyes. "K–Kookie"

Jungkook smiled more. "Yeah"

"...I'm scared"

"Don't be. Your brother is here. If we could be born together, then why not die together? I'll accompany you. You don't have to suffer alone"

Sol-ah's tears fell down to his arm.

And like that,they both heaved their last breath together.
