Deoksim and Zhan came out from their hiding spots to witness their preys hanging upside down in tree branches. The persuaders have been caught in their traps nicely and neatly. They had been trying to find Deoksim and Zhan for two days, only to get caught by them.

Deoksim sneered seeing then struggling, trying to escape.

Zhan,"Hurry up. Take their all the weapons and cloths. We are leaving the forest now"

Deoksim gave a firm nod before doing as he said. After spending a fifteen minutes, they were finally ready to run away. Leaving the upside down people,they fled away.

Arriving to a small village, they could finally breath. Zhan dragged Deoksim to a small alley before speaking in a serious tone. "Stay here. I'll go and find a way to contact someone"

He was about to go but Deoksim held his wrist.

"Be careful",she whispered.

He nodded. "Be good and don't make troubles while I'm gone"

And like that he dashed away. Deoksim pouted, already missing him. Since the morning, he had been very serious that he didn't even give a smile to her. When it comes to work,she can't expect a sweet lovely guy attitude from him. Xiao Zhan is dead serious and he doesn't care about personal feelings during their mission time.

Well,their relationship just started,so it was normal for her to feel a bit hurt,she thought. But on the other hand,he looked damn hot and she liked it. 

She waited for him more than an hour now. It's already getting dark. She was worried sick. She debated with herself if she should go and find him or not but he had clearly ordered not to wander around.

Sitting down on the ground,she brought her legs closer to her chest. Taking a stick which was next to her,she started doodling on the ground feeling bored. She wandered what her father is doing now. Her brother and mother,cousins,uncles,Haru and Naru.

"Haru and Naru must be back from their mission. Haha,they must be cursing at me now",...."What will they say when I say about me and the commander? Oh well,Sol-ah will save me. She said she wouldn't mind me and him being together",she mumbled to herself.  "I need to buy something for Rawon before leaving Budapest"

She sighed and looked at her side to see if he's coming back. The sun had already set down.

"Where's he?Don't tell me he ran away leaving me here? Ugh that bastard. He's a jerk. Didn't even speak to me properly today. Damn hooligan"

"Who are you calling a hooligan?"

Her eyes lit up hearing his voice. Looking at her side,she saw him walking closer to her. He crouched down next to her and flickered his finger on her forehead.

"Where were you?what took you so long?!",she whined feeling a huge hunger. She hasn't eaten anything since morning.

He smiled softly. This is the first time he smiled for the day."Sorry. I went to look for an inn for us. Your backpack didn't have enough money for a big hotel. We have to manage the small sum till tomorrow. Let's go. We can have dinner there"

Deoksim nodded and stood up. "So,did you manage to call someone?"

"Yeah,he'll come to pick us. We have to wait till he come"

Zhan took Deoksim to a small motel. Deoksim kept looking at Zhan's face all the way to the motel. He seemed to be in his deep thoughts. Something is bothering him and she could say it immediately seeing his furrowed eyebrows. She tried asking him but he didn't say anything other than giving her a soft smile.

Entering the motel room,he went straight to have a bath. And when he came back,he just lied on the bed without saying anything.

She thought that he must be tired so she didn't go to question further. After washing up,she came out and saw a plate of steam buns on the table. He hadn't eaten anything since the morning just like her. She sat next to him on the bed and looked at his sleeping face.

You did a lot of efforts to hide your emotions. What happened when you went to take a call? You even took a long time to return back.

Nevertheless, she didn't want him to sleep with an empty stomach. She tried to wake him up. "Hey,wake up. Eat something "

He opened his eyes slowly. He surely wasn't sleeping all this time. "I'm not hungry Deoksim. You go eat something",his groggy voice replied with a small smile.

She wanted to ask What's wrong but decided not to. If he wants to stay silent,then she shouldn't force him to. So,she could only give him a smile. "Aren't you my guardian? You need to protect me. How are you gonna protect me with a weak body?huh? Come on. Eat something. Or else I won't eat too"

He sighed,sitting up. Deoksim immediately went to the table and took the plate and ran next to him. Sitting beside him,she tried to feed him. "The feeling of being poor. Only steam buns. But I guess they are tasty",she babbled trying to cheer him up.

He smiled ruffling her hair. "No,it's the feeling of being a pampered husband. I didn't know that you are a wife type"

She chuckled, "Stop teasing me and eat. Here. Open your mouth"

He obediently opened his mouth. After sharing the steam buns,they finally laid down on the bed to sleep.

Deoksim was already asleep when Zhan opened his eyes again. "I'm sorry",he whispered before placing a chaste kiss on her forehead. Snuggling closer to her warmth,he again closed his eyes.

The next day,a man came to pick them up. After few days,they could go back to Korea in a private jet peacefully. And when they went back,Xiao Zhan was sent to the black agent head quarters to receive another mission while on the hand Deoksim was sent back to her camp.

After giving a report to Park Bogum,she was sent back home. It was strange because she was given more than four months to rest. It was ridiculous. Not even Haru and Naru received a vacation after their mission. She had to wait till Naru and Haru come back from the camp.

During her stay at home,she could see how stressed her father was. But he didn't talk to her at all other than occasionally smiling at her.She didn't have a way of contacting Xiao Zhan either so, she was depressed to no end. She wanted to atleast know about what's going on. Sol-ah's case was going deep inside without a solution and she didn't know what to do.

And at last,the day had come. The day she had been waiting to see her two best friends.

"Noona!Hyungs are here!",Jihoon said the news to her depressed sister thinking she would cheer up.

And he guessed it right. She immediately jumped out from her bed and dashed outside only to be greeted by Haru and Naru. She threw herself onto them without knowing who is going to catch her.

Haru was quick enough and pulled her to a tight hug. Naru patted her back trying to calm her down. Her eyes watered and she didn't know why.

After their quick reunion, she dragged then inside her room and locked the door.

"What's happening?! I was sent home without a reason! Am I grounded or something?! Where's the commander?!"

Naru,"Calm down first. Just sit down"

Deoksim sat down on a couch and looked at them who were already sitting infront of her.

"After we came back from our mission,we didn't find you in the camp and got to know that you went on a mission with the commander ",Haru started off. "And then after two weeks,you two came back. We wanted to speak to you too. But we were all assigned to a new mission"

Naru,"And higher ups wanted you to stay away from this mission"

Deoksim, "Why?"

Haru,"Why do you think? It's related to your aunt! This problem is not only related to our country but also an international problem. Your aunt is not the only victim. Thus,this mission had become a joint mission in between black agents and red agents"

Deoksim silently listened to them.

Naru,"Only chosen agents were assigned for this mission. Me,Haru and Vera from our team were chosen to work under Mr.Xiao Zhan. You were originally in the team but somehow you were thrown out from the list"

Deoksim, "wait —who threw me out?"

Haru and Naru looked at each other.

Haru,"Listen,we are currently doing a crime now. We were ordered not to meet you. So,you have to calm down and listen. We are saying these things because you should definitely know it before it is too late!"

"Cut the crap! Tell me what the hell is going on?! Why am I not in the list? Who threw me out?!",Deoksim was running put of patience now. They were all talking bullshit not coming straight to the point.

Naru,"Three people,three people agreed to throw you out without a hesitation.....Mr.Mark,uncle Bogum and....our commander Xiao Zhan"

Deoksim widened her eyes. She couldn't believe it. "But why?what is this mission about?"

"The mission has various stages", Haru said calmly. "First stage is already completed by a group of black agents which was to find the laboratory that produced the vaccine which precisely happened to be the place Sol-ah was locked up few months ago. During this time,our scientists had already produced the anti vaccine. Agents from all over the world started their search for the victims and the process is still going on. The second stage of the mission is to catch the scientists who are involved in this. Our government had already sent a black agent team a month ago for that. So,that's out of our business"

Naru,"And soon,the third stage is going to be started. And that's where our part start"

Deoksim became anxious. Holding her breath,she listened to them.

Naru,"We are gonna chase after the mafia leader who bought Sol-ah. And—"

"—we can save Sol-ah!", Deoksim cut him off excitedly. "We'll be able to save her!"

Naru and Haru didn't have the excitement she was feeling. They were looking dull. It almost looked like they didn't want to do this mission.

"What's wrong?", Deoksim asked noticing their gloomy expressions. "Isn't this a good thing?"

Haru,"There's a reason why you are not in this mission Deoksim"

Deoksim tilted her head. Her heart rate went higher by the each passing second.

"Deoksim, do you know that Sol-ah is already in Korea?",Haru asked to which she nodded. She had already guessed it."And do you know what she had done during these past months?"

Confused,she shook her head.

The twins went silent for a moment. The words were not coming out from their throats.

"Tell me",she whispered feeling impatient yet scared to hear whatever they had to say.

Gulping hard,Naru answered when he saw that his brother is not ready to answer. "She is a criminal now Deoksim. She had done countless murders. When she was released,no human will be stayed alive to see the day light. Innocent?she didn't care —no,more like she couldn't recognise. She killed from innocent to bad. She already had a criminal record but was forgiven. But this isn't such a case"

Deoksim understood where this is going. Shaking her head she stood up."No,this is —this is not fair! She is ill!she would never do such a thing if she was in her right mind! It's not her fault!"

Haru sighed heavily. "That's not the only thing. She had killed countless animals before along with some people when she was in her right mind. I know it was the effect of the vaccine but some people were innocent. Who is going to give them the justice? Their families are demanding the justice for their dead family members. If the criminal was not punished,things will not be peaceful. We could have ditched if it was one or two families but the number is great. There are some people with higher connections and the issue will not be covered until the criminal is punished"

Deoksim, "But why can't we show the proof that she was ill or vaccinated?!"

Naru,"That'll not work Deoksim! People doesn't care about it! They just want the criminal who killed their loved ones!",he yelled in frustration.

"It's unfair!!",Deoksim fired back feeling frustrated.

Haru held her by her shoulders and looked at her eyes. "Deoksim, answer me honestly. What will you do if your parents were killed by a sick bastard? His side people will claim that he's sick mental. What will you do? Will you still let him go? Without a punishment?"

Deoksim fell into a silence. The answer is obvious yet she couldn't admit it. Clenching her jaw,she stared at her feet without answering him. Instead she asked something else,"What will be her punishment?"

"......Maybe a life sentence to prison",Haru mumbled hesitantly.

"Don't be ridiculous. Will it not be a death sentence? She killed people like a serial killer. Isn't this the law?",Deoksim whispered with a blank gaze. When she got no answer,she looked up. "It's all to please the government. To clean their asses,they are going to kill her"

Naru and Haru fell into a silence. She was right. But they had no saying in it. They were just mere objects which follow the orders from higher ups. No matter how they tried to convince themselves with the thing they are going to do,their conscious spoke against them.

Sol-ah is innocent. Yet,she has to pay the price. She did it with or without her will,it doesn't matter at the end. She is the one who did it. The tainted soul will forever be tainted.

"This is why you were removed from the list",Naru whispered looking down. "They didn't want you to see such a horrible thing. They didn't want you to get involved with Sol-ah's death. They decided to do the dirty thing to save you and your family. Or else,people will point at your family. Your family will forever be ruined. They will take revenge from your family. And Rawon,as her son,he'll suffer if she were to live. His life will be in danger"

Deoksim was lifelessly listening to them. Silent tears rolled down yet no words came out from her. Nothing she could say. It was like choosing Sol-ah or her whole family. How did it come to this point now? She couldn't understand anything.

"She will not be given the anti vaccine",Haru said giving another wound to her. "She will be killed instantly",he finally said what he decided not to tell. What's the point now. Initially, he wanted to keep it to himself but blurted out not wanting to leave any secret away from her. "The choice is yours now. Do what you want to do. We'll help you with whatever the decision you are taking now. We don't want you to regret anything"

Deoksim chuckled through her tears,still not meeting their eyes. Gradually her chuckled increased to a laugh. And then she cried. "What choice? Is there really a choice left for me? It's do or do. Isn't it?"

Haru hugged her. "I'm sorry"

After calming down,she whispered out her decision.

"Let me join the mission"
