—Hold me before I fall—

Sol-ah opened her eyes. A huge headache made her close her eyes again and a little bit of dizziness hit her. Hissing at the pain,she opened her eyes again to see herself being tied to a chair by metal chains. Her wrists were tightly tied to the arms of the chair making her wrists bruised with blood.

She was alone in that dark room. There was no source of light except the small opening on the roof which was directly above her head but fortunately it was covered by a glass so she wasn't revealed to the rain.

Her whole body was aching her because of the beatings she received. With a tired sigh,she looked up.

Deoksim came out from the gymnasium after finishing her punishment. It was already evening. She headed towards the dining hall to have her dinner since it was almost the dinner time.

Entering the hall,she noticed Haru and Naru in a corner table,discussing something which seemed to be important. Deoksim reached them and sat down on the spare chair.

"Hey fellas"

"Done cleaning?",asked Haru.

Deoksim nodded cracking her neck side to side. "Yeah. So,any updates?"

Naru,"Yup. We got a mission for the first time"

Deoksim paused and looked at them moon eyed. "Really?"

"Yeah,me,Naru,Vera and few more trainees are assigned. It will take a month for us to return",Haru explained.

Deoksim squinted her eyes. "What about me? I should be in too right?"

"No Hamster, you are not in. Only the first rankers are selected for this –"

Deoksim cut off Naru. "Wait,first rankers? I'm definitely in the first rankers right? I'm the 4th after you two and Vera"

Haru sighed. "I know. We also thought that you'll be included but commander purposely ignored your name"

Deoksim gritted her teeth. "It looks like he has a personal grudge against me. Haru,you are the captain! Didn't you tell him?"

"I asked him okay? But he dismissed it and walked away"

Deoksim scoffed. She couldn't believe that she was not selected. It's only been two days and their commander was already picking on her. She couldn't bear the unfairness. She stood up startling the twins and walked away.

"Hey!where are you going?!",Haru screamed and started walking behind her to catch her up. Naru also didn't waste any second before following the two.

"Deoksim! Where the hell are you going?!",Haru asked again in frustration.

"I'm gonna ask him the reason. That's all",she exited the dining hall and walked towards the commander's office. "You two stay behind"

"Hell nah! I don't want him to kill you because of your dumbness",Naru said trying to catch up with Deoksim. "Come on! Don't anger him more!"

"I won't okay? I'm just going to talk. Just stop following me! Don't you two have to get ready for the mission? Go and prepare. I'm fine"

Haru,"Are you sure?"

"Yeah"

Naru,"Don't go all crazy mode over him. Don't get on his bad side anymore"

"I won't. Now go go",she pushed them both away and ran towards the office room.

Haru sighed heavily. "I'm not sure. She will definitely get into another trouble"

Naru,"Maybe she will learn after getting few more punishments. Let her be"

"She makes me worried to the point my hair falls like a rain now",Haru mumbled.

Both of them nodded before turning back to leave.

Deoksim barged into the commander's office like a raging bull.

Commander zhan who was reading a report on his chair,raised his head and looked at her through his specks. Behind him was a giant window which showed the setting sun and it made him almost look like a heavenly painting.

For a moment,Deoksim forgot why she even came there. It was like a slow motion movie to her. The man stared back at her with those beautiful eyes.

"Ms.Kim?"

No reply

"Kim Deoksim!"

Deoksim snapped out. She cursed under her breath for getting distracted. Clearing her throat, she spoke. "I wonder if you could tell me why I wasn't selected for the team you are sending to the mission "

"Because it's my decision. Got the answer? You can leave"

The cold hearted punk. She thought.
"That's wasn't a clear answer sir. You selected the top rankers. I'm in the top 5 yet you didn't select me. Isn't it unfair?"

Zhan slammed down the report making Deoksim flinch. He removed his specks and looked her with a stern expression.

"Are you questioning my decisions now?"

"Yes sir",she answered honestly returning the same expression.

He scoffed and stood up. He walked around the table coming closer to her.

"So,I need to give you a satisfying answer to you?"

"Yes?"

"Fine then",he stood infront of her. "First,",he took another step closer to her making her take a step back since he was too close to her. "You have a child like mind"

"Second, ",he took another step and she automatically took another step back. "You are too impatient"

"Third,"And again,he took another step forward. "You got a huge temper you couldn't even handle"

Deoksim gulped hard when his figure towered over her short figure. She meekly took another step back.

"Fourth, the desire to be first rather than completing a work"

And like that going back and forth,now they had no where to take another step when Deoksim found herself on the wall. The cold wall was already touching her back but the devil was too much closer to her blocking the oxygen supply to her.

"Fifth,you still can't take responsibilities"

She looked up like a little Hamster, showing her cute eyes. At first,she wanted to lash out on him and do a full karate show infront of him but then she remembered twins' words not to anger him. If she wants to go on a mission,she needs to be in his good side. And that's why she decided to be cute.

"But shouldn't I be learning through practicals? Let me join the team too",she pouted.

Zhan wasn't affected even a bit. He could see through her. Her little tactics won't work on him.

"You sure know how to act. Keep up with it since you could use them in the future"

Deoksim gave up on seducing him.

"Ugh please!! Let me in too!"

"No means no. Do you want me to shut you up?!",This time,he was really angry and Deoksim could feel it.

"Fine. Whatever!",she gave up.

Zhan backed away.

In the next moment, Deoksim stepped on his feet and stuck out her tongue before dashing away.

"AAA FUCK!",he winced in pain and glared at the door where she flee away."that damn brat. I will catch you later. Just wait. Fuck,it hurts"

Deoksim ran towards the cafeteria again. But to her surprise or maybe not,Haru and Naru were fighting with each other in the middle of the cafeteria. It wasn't an unfamiliar scenery. They would fight for every small things.

"What the hell is happening?",Deoksim asked as she is tired of solving their problems.

Both Naru and Haru stopped hearing her voice. Naru was about to reach her but unexpectedly, Haru grabbed him by his collar and punched on the face and whispered something to his face with gritted teeth.

"Fuck off, I will tell her —",Naru exclaimed only get beatened up by Haru.

Everyone was watching the scenery but no one dared to get involved.

Haru got on top of Naru and punched him mercilessly. Naru somehow managed to roll over each other and now it was his turn to beat him up. Somehow it was getting out of control.

Deoksim frowned. "Hey,that's enough!",She tried to separate both of them by pulling Naru back but Haru pulled back Naru and pushed him to the floor,trying to beat him up. Deoksim  widened her eyes. "What the hell —HARU!LET HIM GO!"

But the man wasn't ready to let go of his brother.

"Kang Naru! You better keep your mouth shut or else I will kill you,bastard!",Haru was full on his enraged mode.

"You are the fucking bastard here! Let her —",Haru punched him on the face shutting him up.

Just then the door of the cafeteria burst opened with a loud bang sound revealing their commander Xiao Zhan. He marched towards the twin brothers and pulled Haru back without a word and kneed him on the stomach making him groan in pain. And then pulled Naru who was still on the floor with a bruised face and punched him on the face.

Deoksim stared wide eyed. Haru was still groaning in pain because of the knee kick he received and she could swear that she saw him spitting out blood. That kick must have been a strong one. And Naru,he was unrecognisable by now.

Zhan pulled out his handkerchief before wiping his hands and threw away it before grabbing bothered twins by their collars.

"Fucking bastards, not letting me rest,you are gonna pay with interest",he dragged both of them towards the door and he didn't forget to glance at Deoksim before leaving completely.

Deoksim was confused. Twins seemed serious. It didn't look like the everyday fight she had been witnessing. Deoksim ran outside only to see the commander taking the boys to his office room. She definitely couldn't go there after the stunt she pulled. But she was hella curious.

"Maybe it's better if I ask them tomorrow. I hope they will be alive by tomorrow. Oww,poor boys. I don't know what will that devil do to them"
